The Boathouse at Sunday Park

My mom and I sat outside at the water the view is gorgeous!!! Levi was an amazing waiter very attentive and making sure everything was to our liking!! This is definitely one of my favorite place to come. Even if it’s just to chill and have a libation!!

Dining at The Boathouse at Sunday Park was a real pleasure. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The staff provided exceptional service — warm, attentive, and professional throughout the entire meal. Combined with the peaceful waterfront view, it made for a truly memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

Wow if I could use only one word to describe this place, it would have would be Amazing. The views are breathtaking, the atmosphere and overall experience was worth the trip from NYC. The crab cake, the oysters, the clams, the fried calamari, the filet mignon, the steak and everything that landed on the table was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The soft steak was accompanied by the perfect char .The views only complemented the delicious meal. This place was not just dinner an event! I couldn’t find one single thing to complain about, the severs were both friendly and courteous. And this was a great overall experience. You can have a tuna sandwich and be satisfied, or you can come travel and experience this amazing experience for yourself, You only live once, grab your significant other and the kids and come indulge in one of life’s guilty pleasures.

Went here for my birthday dinner and what a delight! The view was beautiful, the staff were friendly and inviting, and the food was wonderful. Our server, Hayden, was attentive and kind. This was a great place to go for a special occasion! Loved the calamari and the salmon main dish. This was also the best crème brûlée I’ve had — it was so light and creamy but also very flavorful. Can’t wait go back!

We love sunsets, live music, and amazing seafood at the Boathouse. On our last trip, our server Zoe took special care to ensure that all of our needs were met and that we had time to relax into the evening.

I really enjoyed myself setting up at the Boathouse for my client. We decided to have dinner after setting up and the food wasn't bad. The dessert was 10/10 delicious. Best bread pudding ever. My husband didn't care for his food. He had crab cakes. The salmon was cooked lovely. I blamed him for not sticking to his usual pick from the menu. Not a time to be adventurous sir 🤣 We will be returning when we're back home.

Jamie Cole is the best person I’ve ever met in my life. We are all kindred spirits and God is good!!!!!! If anyone deserves credit for the best meal ever, it is Jamie Cole. Simply the best!!!!!!

We came today to celebrate our daughter’s 18th birthday. Guliana, our server, was absolutely fantastic! The hostess was very kind too! Excellent customer service and wonderful food. Will absolutely return! Thank you for being so awesome ❤️

Worth every penny! Our family of 5 enjoyed dinner with hearty New England clam chowder, crispy fried shrimp, perfectly cooked filet mignon, and crab cakes (no fillers). The 3 course fixed-price option for $31 is a good value too. The bread pudding is outstanding and served with bruleed bananas, toasted pecans, and vanilla ice cream. Even the French press coffee was delicious. Our server, Levi, was attentive and conscientious; he answered our questions (including double-checking exactly how the shrimp was prepared) and made sure our requests were fulfilled. The atmosphere is warm with wood, greenery, and nautical decor. Come early to enjoy the beautiful water views!

Josh was amazing!! We come every year for our anniversary because they make it such a special experience every time! Josh made the night even better with his fantastic and quick service.

Management is genius to give servers the ability to divert from the menu without requiring managers approval. We asked Hayden if orange juice was fresh squeezed and he said no but then offered to get it. We found out that he did it himself. When we asked for substitutions to potatoes, again he quickly accepted are requests. The food was delicious. What I will always remember from this experience is how Hayden catered to our requests. Can I request his table next time?

Breakfast with Santa at the Boathouse is our favorite Christmas event every year! Their Santa Clause is absolutely amazing! He takes his time with each table and is so sweet with the kids. Ambrielle is the best waitress ever, and was so patient with us! We will be requesting her from now on! My only note would be to add waffles to the brunch menu for the kids, that would make this the perfect experience!

Had the most wonderful dinner last night, with my good friends. Our waiter Josh was very attentive, friendly and on point. Very knowledgeable of the menu and drink menu. We all enjoyed our conversations with Josh.

My husband and I decided to go to Boathouse for our first infant-free night in 9 months for Valentine’s Day weekend. We enjoyed oysters, shrimp, rockfish, scallops, and a tasty Valentine’s Day dessert, along with a fruit-forward crisp French Sauvignon blanc. Our server, Levi was very attentive and friendly. We celebrated our anniversary here and were treated like a king and a queen… The food was perfect! Seafood is always the best for me, but my husband absolutely fell in love with the perfectly cooked steak! The service was outstanding with just the right amount of attention and follow up to every little thing we asked for! Thank you so much, Levi!! You Helped to make our anniversary feel very very special in our cozy booth on a freezing day!

Food was very good. The grilled Atlantic salmon was absolutely delish and so was the dessert (zookie). Service was excellent! Our server (Jamie Lewis) took good care of us. Great pace of service. Our drinks never went empty. Atmosphere is fantastic; calm, relaxing, cozy.

Big shout out to our servers, Anja and Hayden! We had a very large and rambunctious group, and they were absolute pros - so professional, every order was correct, refills were prompt, and they were incredibly personable. It’s always refreshing to see people who genuinely enjoy their job! The food and cocktails were absolutely terrific. The cranberry pear mule and the blackened salmon were both out of this world! We had an amazing experience and will definitely be back!

Amira was such an amazing server and made our brunch 10 times better. She was a vibe and was over the top. She put a smile on my face today. Wow all I can say is wow. Really this beautiful girl deserves a raise. We had lots of orders and she delivered them quick and fast while still keeping a big contagious smile on her face.

My family loved our experience at Santa Brunch. The views of the reservoir were amazing and the service was excellent. Being a dad, I always wait till everybody else has had a chance to eat to take my turn. When I finally got to the buffet it was being restocked, so I asked one of the servers, Ren, for advice on what to try first. Every suggestion was delicious, including a couple that were different from what I would normally eat. It was such a good experience that when I went for seconds, I asked Ren again and his advice guided me to the perfect meal. My family enjoyed the event so much that we will definitely return to the Boathouse for Santa Brunch during next year’s holiday season.

Had a great first-time time experience! Heard so many good things and finally got the chance to go for dinner with some friends. Our server, Ricky Y was great! He was so nice, patient with my indecisiveness lol, and very attentive. Food and atmosphere were amazing. Can't wait to go back!

We had such a great experience, and a huge part of that was our server, Brenda. From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. She knew the menu well, gave great recommendations, and checked in at all the right times without ever feeling overbearing. Her energy and professionalism truly elevated our entire dining experience. If you’re dining here, ask for Brenda — she’s amazing and made our visit unforgettable!

Went here with the family for Thanksgiving, and I cannot say enough how amazing the experience was! The food was incredible, everything we had was absolutely amazing. I even went back for another plate. Great layout this year with easy to access buffet. Fantastic customer service, every person we encountered from start to finish was delightful. Outstanding Service! Our server Jamie was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She greeted us with a warm smile, checked on us often without being overbearing, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Drinks stayed full, the food came out just as we ordered, and her friendly attitude made the whole experience even better. You can tell she really cares about her guests and takes pride in her work. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long while.

We were visiting from out of town with family for a birthday dinner. The atmosphere is really pretty. The water at night looks really nice. If you don’t know where you’re going, or not familiar with the area, you could get lost. I got salmon, mashed potatoes and asparagus, which were very delicious. The complimentary bread was good as well. We had open bar, and the drinks were really good too. Overall, a really nice place to dine inside or outside. The waitstaff that I interacted with were professional and friendly.

I visited for our college singing group reunion and must say, it's a nice find on the water. I couldn't decide what I wanted, so I opted for the crab dip and a salad as my lunch. Both items were very enjoyable, especially the salad.

Our Server, Guliana, was awesome! She was so knowledgeable answering our questions, so patient, and pleasant. She was so sweet and teared up when we shared our story of just meeting my niece from California right then right there, at The Boathouse @ Sunday Park . Thank you !

The atmosphere is like a 10🌟! Amazing sunset views over the water. Massive outdoor seating area, with an outdoor bar as well. We came for my niece's graduation party. We made our reservation and got sat pretty quickly, but all your parties must be there. We had 2 servers, and both were great! Food was a hit or miss. Things that were good were excellent. Things not so good were pretty bad. After our meal, I went and spoke to the GM about our issues. She was great, listened, and seemed generally concerned and took care of everything to my sincere gratitude. We would come back just for the view and see if the next time is better, and this past was just a fluke, which the gm told me it was. The service is worth another try as well.

Good food and ambiance. Our server Levi was great. Got the shrimp tacos and that was good. My husband got the Boathouse Burger. A bit dry, can use some sauce. Otherwise we had a great experience.

I truly enjoyed the crab cakes from their menu. Our server, Levi, graciously offered to capture photographs of our celebration, which we greatly appreciated. I had a wonderful time.

Buffet was OK (but not really worth $68). Heating in the tented deck area was inadequate. Some of the cocktails ordered by our party of five were curious, especially the Cosmopolitan (too citrusy). But … Jazmine was a wonderful server. She went out of her way to find us a warm table area, and she was attentive, friendly and fun!

The low score is for the food only. I had crab benedict with a very underwhelming hollandaise sauce. The biscuit was good but it was twice as thick as the crab cake, which should have been the star of the dish. I also had the roasted brussel sprouts. They were nicely cooked, but the flavor was missing. The atmosphere was nice and intimate. The service was excellent, our server was lovely.

The food and waitresses is always good but we were unpleasantly surprised with a hostess attitude when we came for a branch today. She didn’t even check the availability of the tables but right the way let us know that as far as we don’t have a reservation it is no guarantee. After checking the availability it was actually the table available so we couldn’t get why she was so rude instead of being welcoming. Like she literally did a favor to us. Unbelievable. We will find a different restaurant next time.

I visited The Boathouse at Sunday Park on Saturday, March 1st, at 6:30 PM for my birthday weekend, hoping for a special waterfront dining experience. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing and led to a very unpleasant weekend. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed the floor was filthy, with visible remnants of macaroni and cheese and a fruit spoon. I alerted my waitress to the situation, she responded that a baby had been present earlier, but she made no effort to clean the area or have someone else do so. This was unacceptable, especially considering the visible mess. The food itself was okay, but far from exceptional. In fact, both my fiancé and I became ill over the weekend after dining at The Boathouse, which raises serious concerns about food safety. The lack of cleanliness on the floor, combined with our subsequent illness, suggests a potential issue with hygiene practices. The waitress's refusal to address the dirty floor was particularly frustrating. It demonstrated a complete lack of concern for customer comfort and hygiene. The fact that this happened during my birthday weekend made it even more disappointing. The atmosphere, which is usually touted as a selling point, was overshadowed by the uncleanliness and the worry about food safety. The scenic view couldn't compensate for the unsanitary conditions and the resulting illness. Given the unclean environment, the mediocre food, the subsequent illness, and the waitress's dismissive attitude, I cannot recommend The Boathouse at Sunday Park. The lack of basic hygiene standards and the potential for foodborne illness are significant red flags. I strongly advise others to consider these factors before dining here, especially for special occasions.
