Great Thai! We stopped on our road trip. Wonderful surprise. Wonderful food fantastic service clean cute restaurant deceiving from the outside. Highly recommend.
Enjoy this place! Excellent service, sweetest people work here, Asasha, Tho, and another young waitress my family met today. The food is, no joke, the best Thai food me, my wife and kids have had in the DFW! Can't beat the flavors and authenticity. Such a warming and welcoming atmosphere and pleasant establishment all around. We have been here now about 7 times and, God Willing, we will continue to frequent Tie Thai :) Take my advice and try it! You and your family will love it as much as we do. Thank you!
My family stopped in while we were on a road trip. The restaurant and restrooms are clean. There is a relaxed atmosphere. We had two curries, pad Thai and cashew chicken. Each meal was delicious and the portions were good sized. 👍 Would definitely recommend.
Their food is sooo good! Never misses, the flavors are so yummy!
The menu offers a good variety. The service was great. All staff members I encountered were very courteous. The food is outstanding. I got the Basil Chicken and it was terrific. All the ingredients were fresh and flavor was oh so good! My wife got the Thai Fried Rice and it was really good. She made the comment “We can come back here” which is a pretty good compliment seeing that she’s a picky eater. Spring rolls and Salad Rolls are also made fresh and are a good s way to start the meal. We will be back...Soon!
My husband and I ate here for the first time today and it was excellent! Pho is basically a food group for me and we both love Thai in general and can’t believe we haven’t tried it sooner. We had the edamame, Shrimp Pho and Shrimp Pad Thai. Shrimp were fresh and huge! All the flavors were there and the service was great. Highly recommend!
I decided to come here for the first time in years after work and I’m so glad I did! Two young ladies took care of me and were so so kind and helpful in choosing a meal for my husband. The red curry was amazing, just like years ago when I came, THE perfect spice level just like I requested. These ladies were seriously phenomenal and I appreciate this business more than words can say. :)
Very attentive staff and food was delicious. The iced coffee was as good as our favorite place in Dallas. Definitely get the yellow curry and the basil fried rice!
I have been going here for years. e Every time I film for The Chosen I make sure I stop to eat here. Absolutely lovely staff and really good Thai food. Put your phone down right now and press start to guide your automobile here. Do it.
Been going to this restaurant for years… Honestly sorry I haven’t written a review sooner. This place is amazing and I hope and pray it never ever ever closes. From the moment you walk in, the friendly staff make you feel right at home. And as for the food… I’ve never had anything bad here. The Pad Thai is a classic done right—perfectly balanced with just the right mix of sweet, savory, and tangy flavors, topped with crunchy peanuts. For something bolder, the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) is a must-try. It’s rich, spicy, and loaded with fresh basil and vegetables that bring the dish to life. One of the standouts on the menu is the Tom Kha soup. Creamy, fragrant, and slightly sweet, this coconut milk-based soup is comfort in a bowl. It’s a great way to start your meal or even enjoy as a light main dish. If you’re craving something hearty, the Yellow Chicken Fried Rice is packed with flavor—rich, turmeric-kissed rice, tender chicken, and just the right amount of seasoning make it a satisfying option. THIS HAS BEEN MY NEW FAV!! Don’t skip the Gyoza either. These pan-fried dumplings are crisp on the outside and filled with savory goodness inside—great as a starter or a side. Thai Tie manages to combine consistently delicious food with genuinely kind and attentive service. Try it out! Even if you’ve never tried Thai food. And believe me, I’ve tried other Thai spots all over dfw and this is the best!!
We placed an order online to pick up then had a situation arise where we could not get our food. They went out of their way to make sure we still got our food and it was all delicious! The fried rice was fantastic and the crab rangoon was some of the best I’ve had. We’re loyal customers now for sure!
Food is delicious. Not a fast food restaurant. Will take time but the wait is worth it.
The best and most authentic Thai I’ve had in a long time (an I lived in Asia for 7.5 yrs). Def our new go-to for delicious and generous portions in town. Try the Larb or papaya salad. You won’t regret it
We love TIE Thai! Their food is always delicious and the employees are friendly and helpful. We almost always order take out vs. eating in the restaurant. As soon as we placed our online order last night, we got a call to advise that they were out of wide noodles and would it be ok to substitute standard noodles in their place. I was impressed that they called to ask us instead of just making the substitution. Our favorite dishes from TIE Thai are the Tom Kha soup and the Pad See Ew. It would be great to see more photos of the different dishes posted on their website for when we feel adventurous and want to try something new.
I love this place. This was my first time trying any Thai restaurant and this place delivered. I love their food and atmosphere. They are so welcoming 😁
This is our family’s favorite restaurant in all of Midlothian! We always get the green and red curry fried rice and orange chicken. The staff is really great and the restaurant has a great atmosphere and is very clean. Highly recommend this place to everyone!
I come here often. Wonderful Thai food here . The waiters are always sweet too . Wonderful tom ka soup everything here is wonderful.
No tie here, they are the best in town. Very friendly and extreme confidence in the quality and flavor of their food. The owner takes a lot of pride in the dishes prepared, as she should. Everything was delicious. We ordered to-go, Thai fried rice and drunken noodles. The cream cheese crab is a new favorite of mine. The sweet and sour sauce is unmatched!
I went on a date here and it was great! The food was top notch hands down the best Thai I've ever had or even made myself! We got steamed dumplings to start and I got the punang curry and my date got orange chicken we also got Thai tea and Thai iced coffee both were perfect. TK was our server and chef and he was attentive but not overbearing and his food looks like the pictures online perfection! The restaurant is nicely decorated and provides a nice atmosphere. 5 out of 5 stars no doubt is my favorite restaurant!
Love the basil fried rice. It’s so delicious and everyone is so polite 🥰
Loved everything about this spot!! Remorseful that I didn’t know of it sooner. Will without hesitation, be back soon!!! Edit: it just gets better & BETTER!!! Second Edit- they now have lunch specials!! This spot is truly an incredible gem with such great service!!
Update in March 2023... Since we put up great reviews the place started getting a lot more business. We went back and it was absolutely horrible service. They had a single girls trying to run the entire place; checking people out, taking takeout orders and waitress. The entire dining room was full and about half the people were obviously done for awhile and quite ready to leave. We were given menus when we were seated but after 45mins without so much as being offered water or drink orders we got up and left. I hope they will get with the program quickly and hire some staff or in my opinion they shouldn't have a dining room. The food is obviously good there was a very busy takeout going on. I am not sure if people in the area don't like great Thai food or don't realize this place is there; we were concerned to see not many people there during a Saturday dinner hour but they are one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been to and I come from a foodie rich area. Great prices, great selection, and excellent service and atmosphere. We brought little kids and they were very kid friendly. We will definitely be going back now that we have found this spot.
Just finished up lunch here and it was so good! I grabbed the orange chicken with a spice level of three. It was delicious with the perfect amount of spice. We had the steamed dumplings as an appetizer and they were perfection. The iced Thai tea was also tasty. The service was quick and friendly- shout out to TK!
I ate here for a work lunch. My wife is also Thai and she’s the best cook at the Thai church she goes to. I must say I was really surprised. The food I ordered was great. Very similar to my wife’s cooking. I would definitely go back.
Enjoy the flavors here very much! Food is made with much care, great fusion of flavors, Very nice ambiance and the service was timely and very genuine. Be sure to bring your own wine and they will happily bring you a wine glass or two! The orange chicken is from scratch and amazing, the yellow and massaman curries are fantastic. You can order with beef, chicken, or pork. Be sure to try the Tom Kha soup!
Always delicious whether we order to-go or eat there. Our favorite menu items are chicken pad thai, tom kha soup, panang curry and black pepper fish. Friendly staff, reasonably priced, casual atmosphere.
Ate here with my husband for lunch and we both absolutely loved our food!! I ordered the yakisoba with beef and he ordered Pad Thai with Chicken. We also got iced Thai Tea and Iced Coffee !
Always, always wonderful. Service is phenomenal! Food is always hot, fresh and flavorful. The Tom Kah Soup is the best around. Garlic chicken Devine. Our go to for something special.

We go here about once a month. We usually have the Thai Fried rice with chicken which is the fluffiest fried rice I have ever tasted. So good! Our favorite noodle dish is the Pad Sieuw (sp?) with beef. We get it mild and the seasoning is perfect. Other dishes we enjoy - Panang Curry and Pad Thai. Staff is friendly. BYO alcohol or buy wine or beer next door at the gas station if you like.
I visited Tie Thai for the first time a few weeks ago because I was craving some good Pad Kee Mow — and they did not disappoint! The flavor, freshness, and quality were all outstanding. You can really taste the care they put into their dishes. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu!
The bad reviews on this place are WACK! TIE Thai is delicious! We tried the crispy spring rolls, TIE Thai spicy fried rice, and red curry. Everything was full of flavor, and honestly some of the best Thai I've had in a while. I enjoyed the interior aesthetic as well, and I usually don't notice that type of thing. I would have liked to see the Jasmine tea come out in a tea pot instead of a large mug, but I'm reaching now. If you like spicy, just go straight for a level 5. I got 4 and I was still wanting more, but it's probably just because they don't want to kill the other white folks that walk in 😂 Lastly, we came here on a Friday night and it was not busy at all! Come check it out!
Best Thai food in DFW hands down. Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao both are excellent. Use to be in Fort Worth, same folks own this one as well.

Pros: food and stag are great Cons: need to update Google site and door info because they are not open as listed. 4 stars is only because you never know what their hours are
Food was decent and flavorful but watch your bill. They will put add ons. The food wasn’t good enough for me to go back based off dishonesty, but it was a nice little lunch date.
The food here tastes great- it’s really my favorite Thai food in a 20 mile radius, but over the last couple of years the portions the decreased significantly and the prices have gone up. I would love to eat here more but unfortunately the value just isn’t there anymore. I paid for a dinner portion and it was half of a medium to go box - it used to be overflowing. No lime included anymore either.
Really tasty, even though we asked for spicy couldve been a bit more. The fried basil rice was really tasty. Yellow curry with chicken and the spicy peanut sauce with pork all had great flavor. Definitely coming back to try a few other dishes. Follow up a couple years later. Very small portions rice not even filled to top of container and over 40$. Won’t be back. Very disappointed. Small small portions rice asked for spicy not spicy at all. And the added foil just filled the container.
We split the Pad Thai, Pinapple Fried Rice and the Orange Chicken. Everything was good but nothing out of this world. We had the level 2 and 3 spicy (they gave a scale of 1 to 4) and were worried it might be too spicy but it was not spicy at all.

I've eaten here for years. Used to dine at the Fort Worth location, and have been to the Midlothian location many times. But today, the food was absolutely horrible! I don't know if they've changed hands since my last visit or what has gone on, but I wish I had my money back. The Thai basil fried rice had no flavor. It was even packaged differently and the little crab cream cheese was not the same. I'm so sad. They were always so good.
Lady that owns the salon next door helps out periodically. For whatever reason they close every day from 3 to 4:30. I arrived at 2:50 p.m . and the lady was standing outside. She rushed back inside and turned off the open sign. I tried calling before I made the 20 minute drive.......So now you've lost a faithful customer of 4 years behind BS.🤬
Nice people but the food is lackluster. The rice is always mushy no matter what! I have tried a few of the noodle and the rice dishes and after today I think I will finally retire this place. The food just isn’t good. The rice is so mushy that it’s clumped into balls in some spots. Sweet and sour chicken had canned pineapple and no seasoning. I really wanted to like this place due to the proximity of my home and despite the staff being nice I will not be back. I want good food and to not feel like my money is wasted after I’m forced to throw it away. Chicken has a weird texture. Never again. Had to throw the whole dish out.

Ordered level 4 spice beef and chicken fried rice. Received no spice, chicken and mystery meat fried rice. Definitely not beef. No other vegetables than onion and had a terribly inedible smokey flavor as the oil it was cooked in burned. Beyond disappointed.
Thanks for not giving us a side of dumpling sauce yet again, we always come here instead of supporting the Thai restaurant in town. Between the inconsistent food and not that friendly atmosphere we’ll go elsewhere.
