Ho avuto il piacere di cenare in questo ristorante e l’esperienza è stata davvero eccellente. La qualità del cibo è impeccabile: materie prime freschissime, piatti curati nei dettagli e sapori perfettamente equilibrati. Si percepisce chiaramente la passione e l’attenzione che lo staff mette in cucina. Il servizio è stato altrettanto impeccabile: personale gentile, professionale e sempre attento senza mai risultare invadente. Ci siamo sentiti accolti e coccolati dall’inizio alla fine. L’atmosfera è semplicemente unica, in perfetto charm milanese: elegante, raffinata e accogliente, capace di farti sentire in un luogo speciale senza perdere quel calore autentico che fa la differenza. Un’esperienza che consiglio assolutamente a chi cerca qualità, gusto e un ambiente di grande fascino. Tornerò sicuramente!

Domenica a pranzo con la famiglia, devo segnalare che a prescindere dalla qualità indiscutibilmente 🔝 delle portate consumate, da vera tradizione meneghina, mi ha molto colpito la professionalità del servizio e, soprattutto, la cordialità e la simpatia con cui si sono approcciati al tavolo per ogni esigenza. Il locale è veramente delizioso, molto intimo e con un tocco di eleganza che rende ancora più gradevole l'atmosfera di questa tipica osteria milanese. Da non sottovalutare posizione strategica per MUDEC.

Siamo tornati ancora una volta in questo ristorante e la conferma è stata totale. La mia famiglia è stata entusiasta: abbiamo mangiato benissimo, come sempre accade qui, con piatti curati e di grande qualità. Anche il servizio si distingue per precisione e cortesia. Un ringraziamento particolare a Federica, che ci ha seguiti in modo splendido per tutta la serata. Un posto che continua a non deludere e in cui torneremo con piacere.

Sono andato per la prima volta al Damm-atrà tanti anni fa, tra i dieci e i quindici, su consiglio di amici Meneghini doc, e il fatto che sia ancora aperto e sia sempre pieno, dice già tutto. Ci sono poi tornato di tanto in tanto negli anni e ultimamente, due volte in sei mesi, una frequenza significativa per me che non abito a Milano. La qualità dei prodotti, la bontà dei piatti, la cortesia del personale e l'atmosfera accogliente sono andati sempre migliorando, per questo rimane uno dei miei posti del cuore in cui tornare ogni volta.

We came all the way for the Ossobuco Con Risotto Milanese after our Duomo Milan tour. The braised veal is so flavorful and well cooked - the meat is so tender! The risotto al Milanese is something else and it’s a great pairing. We also had the Tartare di Marzo and it’s delish with their home made bread. The meal was topped off with their home-made Tiramisu! It was an awesome meal and a great way to finish our last night in Milan! Grazie! I shall be back!

The receptionist of the hostel where I stayed recommended to me this place to have the traditional dish from Milan, the Risotto a la Milanesse. It was amazing! I highly recommen you to go. The staff was very kind and the atmosphere was very nice too. I did not reserve a table as I went early, but I think that there were many tables already booked.

Very nice, cosy, darker interior where we felt very comfortable. We ordered typical milanese food. Ossobuco with milanese risotto and Milanese cotolette. Cotolette was generous portion, a bit dry but very tasty. Ossobuco with risotto was my partner best food he had in Milano. Meat was very soft and full of flavour, same with risotto. Our waitress was very proffesional. We definitely reccommend this restaurant if you want to try typical milanese food in cosy atmosphere.

Damm-atrà is much more than a restaurant; it’s an experience. The establishment boasts a simultaneously warm and cozy yet refined and romantic ambience—but here, you come for the food—and I’m not exaggerating when I say these dishes changed my life. Where do I start? My first taste of the ravioli de zucca was one of the most heavenly bites of my life. Al dente pasta gives way to a creamy, mildly sweet, and buttery pumpkin filling, delicately counterbalanced with Parmesan and savory bits of crispy pancetta. Wildly addicting and absolutely unskippable. The ossobuco di vitello con risotto alla Milanese is another must-try: veal shank nestled in a bed of velvety risotto in a saffron and lemony remoulade. I cannot describe how tender, succulent, and luscious the veal was; you could’ve convinced me it was braised for hours by the gentle hand of Jesus. Crowned as per tradition with a trove of indulgent, umami bone marrow, this dish is a true Milanese classic turned mind-blowing by the geniuses in the kitchen. We wrapped the night up right with the best tiramisu I’ve had in Milan, and probably my whole life: it was delicate and not too sweet with layers of whipped mascarpone that were especially light and fresh. Just divine. We paired this all with a bottle of the house red wine, which was exquisitely dry and mild. If you’re looking to revel in authentic Lombard specialties, I urge you to stop by. Damm-atrà is serving up the Platonic form of Milanese cuisine. Trust me, a meal here will make you fall in love with Italy just a little bit more.

I have been specifically excited to write this review, since it is personally one of the best restaurants not only in Milan but ever for me in terms of overall experience, so where should I start? It was recommended to me by a friend who lived in Milan for a long time, the location is great near the Naviglio Grande. You will need to book in advance, as it is usually full. Let me be clear this restaurant has a really cozy warm romantic atmosphere, that is best suited for couples, maybe families, but definitely not very suitable for kids. They have a wide collection of wines, from the basic ones to the very fancy types. I went with my family, we were greated warmly, and we ordered a mixed fried plate as a starter to share which had fried polenta, bread, potato skins and a Gorgonzola cheese dip, it was phenomenal as it makes you drool, waiting for next dishes to come. We ordered cotoletta alla Milanese di vitello which is a fried veal cutlet served with salad, fillet mignon with jacket potatoes, and the famous ossobuco di vitello con risotto alla Milanese which is their signature dish I believe, a veal cut served with bone marrow and lemon risotto. Everything tasted incredible, and the portions were decent. I would definitely recommend the ossobuco dish with risotto, as I found it the perfect meal there. The beef mignon came rare cooked and it would still easily melt in your mouth. The veal cutlet had the perfect thickness and crunch to it and it was huge. For dessert, we ordered Tiramisu and torta contadina, again very tasty and such an amazing treat towards the end of dinner. The prices are of course slightly on the expensive side, but I was never happier to pay for and appreciate such great food. If you are in Milan, do yourself a favor and give this restaurant a visit.

Great place to eat real Lombard food. Ossobuco with risotto milanese was delicious. Veal cotoletta alla milanese was really good also. We will come back next time we will visit Milan ! Highly recommended !

They are opening at 7p.m. The service was perfect. Great wine, Tatar with pistacio and cheese sauce...mmm!!! And 2types of risotto....it was amazing supper! Can't eat the dessert because portions was so big. Love this place so much that for sure I'll come back!

Really nice restaurant with typical milan food. The staff is really friendly. Differently from the other restaurants right on the navigli where the walking area is, this has very affordable prices. The plates are very generous and they are very good. We were a party of 5 and have gotten two appetizers to share (potato skins + salame and cheese), one entree each person (cotolette + risotto con ossobuco), two desserts, coffee and amari + a bottle of wine. The bill was just 40€ per each person. I had the risotto allo zafferano and it was extremely good. Highly recommended. I suggest to book a table if party of 2+. A nice cosy place on the quieter side of the canal. Famous for their large Schnitzel pork and veal, be ready to share for afew persons. Also the potato Skins were crispy and hit the spot. Really great service, they even gave us a round of limoncello shots on the house.

Carlotta e Federica where great in helping us (6 people) choosing the best combination of food and wines while keeping a friendly atmosphere during the dinner! My suggestion is Risotto alla Milanese or Tortellini alla Zucca and Cotoletta alla Milanese! Ottimo!

Ottimo ristorantino della tradizione milanese vicino ai navigli, il locale è molto serale, con luci soffuse e bell ambientino. Abbiamo ordinato per iniziare delle polpettine con salsa barbeque ,nulla di particolare e un hummus allo zafferano, ma aveva solo il colore delll zafferano, ma un buon hummus di ceci. Bel ristorante in zona Navigli che propone la tipica cucina milanese. L’ambiente è informale ma raffinato con molti richiami alla Milano di una volta. I camerieri sono giovani, cordiali, premurosi e competenti e sono subito disponibili a dare consigli su quale piatto scegliere o quale vino abbinare ma anche a scambiare semplicemente due battute. I piatti sono quelli veri milanesi, quelli della tradizione e sono davvero ottimi e nelle giuste proporzioni. Ottima la carta dei vini ma sono di qualità anche quelli proposti dalla casa. Siamo in zona p.ta Genova e quindi trovare parcheggio è davvero difficile, tuttavia la zona è ben servita dai mezzi pubblici. Ristorante adatto sia per una cena di coppia che per piccoli gruppi. Prezzi proporzionati alla qualità.

Il vero voto sarebbe un 3 e mezzo. Mi aspettavo qualcosa in più, per la mia memoria storica. I mondeghili erano molto buoni, un po' più deludenti le bucce di patate molli e poco croccanti. La costoletta alla milanese ní, secchina con il purè tiepido. Mi ha piacevolmente stupito la carta dei vini, buone etichette ad un costo contenuto. Ciò che mi da veramente fastidio: tovaglia di carta per un coperto da 2,50 € e acqua microfiltrata a 3€!!! 🤦Alcuni locali la offrono... 🙄. Perché perdersi in queste piccolezze? Peccato, ne va del giudizio complessivo che ha un buon servizio in un ambiente molto gradevole.
