We stumbled upon this place by accident and what a happy accident it was! The opening hours are perfect, considering everything in Milan seems to close so early. The place inside is big, lovely decorated and bustling with people and warmth. It feels like we are not in Milan but a completely different corner of the earth. The menu is full of items and pictures that easily explain the different dishes and where the flavours come from; the allergens are indicated as well and there are plenty dishes available for eventual nut or lactose or gluten allergy/intolerance. We had tostones, bisteca alo pobre and juego de maracuja and it was delicious, very filling but it was so worth it. The waiters are so nice, they checked often to make sure everything was okay and they were cordial and helpful. The price was perfect for the food, and overall it was a magnificent experience. 10/10 we will go every time we find ourselves in Milan. In fact, we went again two days later with a friend!!

Very nice find! The restaurant is huge and has a great vibe. As soon as you walk in you are warmly welcome by the staff. The service was extremely attentive and the food was delish! The portions are huge! [Only thing to point out is the how uncomfortable the table seats are!!!! Omg! My behind hurt so bad] Other than that everything was very good!

El Hornero is a real Milan jewel. The menu offers a large Peruvian cuisine. The staff is outstanding! They are all very friendly, helpful and patient with large groups and small children. They work together to insure everything about our meal was perfect. The cocktails were spot on and the starters very good. We all enjoyed salads, two different types of fish and a half chicken in a relaxing hospitable dinning room. Very pleasant meal at a fair price.

I ate what I was recommended. And I fell in love with peruvian food. On the inside it looks ordinary, but the food tastes delicious. Service is impeccable, I couldn't ask for more, friendly and polite people who greeted me even though I was alone, and they know there won't be much profit. Overall, there is 0 reasons why you should skip this place.

Fabulous! Went in to get lunch before our train and went there because we knew it was open. Looks tiny on the outside and perhaps not very appealing, but we couldn't believe it when we got inside. Wonderful atmosphere, fabulous staff, great food and yummy cocktails. It was the best! Don't judge a book by it's cover 🤣

Food: Buonissimo! Service: very fast and friendly. Ambience: warm, big and beautiful. This is my first time to eat so fresh seafood and delicious roast chicken in Nord Italy. Must order their local specialty appetizer and drinks. Dessert is very big portion which can be shared with. They care about the food quality and customers, strongly recommended. Abbiamo mangiato in 9 e tra i piatti, bibite e dolci abbiamo speso 300€, sicuramente non una spesa indifferente, infatti veniamo qua raramente. Se volete qualcosa di più economico questo non è il posto adatto. Io non sono peruviana, ma tra tutti quelli che ho incontrato, tutti mi han indicato questo ristorante per mangiare cibo peruviano! Molto bene. Piatti enormi, che consolano i 20-30€ spesi per porzione, cibo buono e di qualità, ambiente rumoroso data la quantità di gente, ma tutto sommato un buon posto!

L’atmosfera è fantastica, accogliente e c’è quel senso di unione, si sta proprio bene. Durante la serata era il compleanno di una signora ed è partita la canzone e tutti si sono messi a cantare e applaudire. Il ristorante è molto spazioso, subito ti offrono pane e salse e il mais peruviano che era davvero eccezionale. La cameriera era molto carina e brava, ci ha consigliati bene. I prezzi sono medio/alti ma le porzioni abbastanza grandi. Molto buono sia il riso che il pollo, e anche particolare la torta al latte leggera e buona. Lo consiglio 🥰

Locale peruviano molto caratteristico. Il cibo è ottimo e le porzioni super abbondanti. L’atmosfera è molto piacevole ed il servizio abbastanza veloce. Nessuna nota di demerito, i prezzi sono un po’ alti ma giustificati dalle porzioni che sono veramente grandi.

Sapori buonissimi. Iniziato con tigrillo che é praticamente un ceviche con più zuppetta, molto buono ma non basta a riempirti, proseguito con la jalea (fritto misto) buono il pesce, frittura un po’ unta ma comunque da volar via, o forse era scarso? Quindi ho proseguito con un ceviche de pescado, gustosissimo mi viene ancora l’acquolina in bocca, attenti che se non siete abituati al piccante quello che usano loro é molto forte, ma l’unione del ceviche al piccante a parer mio é la morte sua. Il tutto accompagnato da una bella birra Cuzqueña negra con un bel sapore di malto. Come cucina più che soddisfatto, come prezzi si aggirano intorno ai €20 che non dico siano cari ma forse scarsi.

Locale grande e pulito, ottimo servizio, camerieri simpatici e molto disponibili. Buon cibo e porzioni molto abbondanti. Ciao

L'atmosfera è calda e accogliente. Il ristorante è molto grande, ci sono molti tavoli ma è pur sempre consigliabile prenotare. Ottimo il cibo e la presentazione, anche se alcuni piatti hanno un prezzo un pò troppo alto. Si sta comunque molto bene. Consigliato per una cena in gruppo, meno per una cena intima. Ci sono dei tavoli all'esterno ma non è uno spazio grande.

Menu pranzo settimanale 15€ con primo secondo acqua e caffè. Alla carta non è molto economico ma ne vale la pena. Le bibite tipiche sono anche esse molto buone ma prezzi esagerati.

Great place with a very folkloric aesthetic. One of the most renowned Peruvian restaurants in Milan. The accompaniments of corn and bread rolls with sauces are a great touch that highlights the warmth and hospitality of the Peruvian people. The causa limeña was okay, and the seafood rice was excellent. Chicha is a fantastic traditional beverage, full of antioxidants and richly spiced; it might not be for everyone, but it truly is delicious. Additionally, the Cusqueña beer is spectacular

Ristorante buono come cucina, ma i prezzi molto elevati rispetto ad altri ristoranti peruviani. Se mi chiedono se il sovracosto vale la pena secondo me il cibo non giustifica il prezzo.

Dish with the meat was ok, I will pick it up again. Jalea dish with seafood, in some seafood there were too much oil, I will not pick it again. Juce Jugo Mara was amazing! This is on must try on that restaurant. After all, it was ok.

Sono andato sto pomeriggio a mangiare qua al El Hornero per la prima volta il servizio è il personale erano molto cordiali e disponibili ma il cibo non era il top io e la mia compagna abbiamo preso il menù del giorno e non ci ha soddisfatto molto los tequenos l’impasto era molto molle e il ripieno non si sentiva molto ed troppo olioso mentre la mia compagna ha preso il burrito di pollo il ripieno non era molto buono. Mentre come secondo ho preso lo stinco di maiale con patate e riso lo stinco era molto secco mentre le patate erano molto dure mentre la mia compagna ha preso il seco la carne era molto dura e difficile da masticare mentre i fagioli erano insipidi davvero un peccato perché la location è molto bella con un personale molto cordiale ed efficiente anche se si erano dimenticati di portarci l’acqua ma poi ce l’hanno portata.

Un “ristorante” solo tra mille virgolette. Più che altro sembra un fast food, e nemmeno dei migliori, considerando l’odore persistente che si sente appena si entra. Prezzi assolutamente fuori da ogni logica: 20–30 euro a piatto per una qualità davvero scarsa. Locale caotico, servizio confuso e piatti poveri, sia nella presentazione che nel gusto. Ciliegina sulla torta: persino il piatto che doveva essere “pulito” era completamente unto. Un’esperienza decisamente negativa. Da evitare senza esitazione. Mai più. Ah per finire, la carne in foto, 30 euro 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱

Tutto fantastico, cibo, ambiente, camerieri cortesi, ma la sorpresa è stata dopo aver pagato e in strada verso casa: abbiamo pagato di più!!! Un conto di un tavolo che non era il nostro !!! Allego foto di ciò che abbiamo consumato con lo scontrino, e non è corrispondente ! Ci sono stati addebitati 3 antipasti mai presi ed i piatti, a parte 1/4 di pollo, completamente diversi !!! Ci siamo rimasti malissimo, perché l'addetto alla cassa nemmeno ci ha guardati in faccia e ha fatto i conti completamente sbagliati !!! Prestate bene attenzione al momento del pagamento, perché spero che non sia stato fatto di proposito !!!

I came to this place excited as I was told it was the best in Milan and boy was I not only disappointed but also shocked with how tasteless food was and how rude the owner is. My friend had a super salty dish rendering it unbearable to eat and I had anticuchos that I requested well done that came out raw twice. The owner not only did not acknowledge me but also gave a nasty look but to top it off also charge us for his disgusting food. I would say undoubtedly if you want to eat delicious this is definitely NOT the place!!! SMDH...

Starting with the service: Upon entering they said that the living room was occupied and there were only chairs in front! After a few minutes people from the same country (Peru 🇵🇪) entered Without reservation and immediately opened space for them! Xenophobia? Regarding the food: They never asked me the point of the meat I wanted and I received part of the raw meat! 🥩 The corn 🌽 didn’t have salt The potatoes 🥔 didn’t have salt We ordered passion fruit juice and it looked like water 💧 with artificial colour and flavour (drink for which we pay 14€) Prices too high for the terrible service We paid about €60 for a dish that I couldn’t eat! I DON’T RECOMMEND IT!
