A parte che ho bevuto un cappuccino buonissimo (e se ne è scappato giù prima che lo fotografassi), devo dire che questo posticino è delizioso nel cuore di Milano. Qui tra un tram e l'altro incontri i bauscia milanesi a colazione, che si confrontano su quali calzini acquistare per poi scegliere quelli da 96 euro su Amazon e poi sospirano "...non ci son più le mogli di una volta" (quelle che probabilmente pensavano ai loro calzini!). Insomma entrare in questo caffè è come entrare in un racconto. Un racconto milanese. Il titolare è delizioso, cortese, accogliente. Davvero 10 e lode! (Corona Perer giornale sentire)

Bar che si distingue per l’atmosfera raffinata e la cura dei dettagli. Ideale per una pausa durante la giornata, offre una selezione di caffè, tè e dolci di qualità. Il personale è cortese e molto disponibile. Prezzi in linea con la zona centrale di Milano. L’ambiente, accogliente e ben arredato. Abbiamo fatto aperitivo all'esterno, sia i cocktail che il cibo sono stati molto buoni. Prezzo circa 7-8€ a testa. Consigliato.
Allora, avevo "lumato" (come si dice qui a Milano "adocchiare" questo localino-chicca a settembre nella splendido viale alberato Vincenzo Monti: mi aveva colpito l'atmosfera data dalle luci e lo stile originale, oltre che ovviamente il nome. Si prenota su Instagram: la proprietaria risponde subito ed è gentilissima (il locale è pieno già da prima delle 19, quindi meglio prenotare, ma c'è un buon ricambio. Ho scelto di sedermi dentro perché ero vestita abbastanza leggera ma anche in veranda si stava bene 😉 Mi hanno subito accolta con energia frizzante e positiva: mi hanno servito un antipasto per due, anche se ero da sola e fatto pagare solo per uno! Ho letteralmente spazzolato la coppa e il salame, ma in particolare la coppa piacentina, tagliata divinamente " dalla proprietaria (anch'io ho un'affettatrice a casa e so cosa vuol dire). Ho chiesto se la prossima volta avrei potuto avere un piatto solo di coppa ed ebbene sì! Sono stata ribattezzata la "ragazza della coppa" 😂 Ho chiesto la doggy bag per portare le piadine al mio Little boy a casa e Lei mi ha regalato due fette di piadine vegetariane appena sfornate per farmele trovare. Un tesoro! Anche i ragazzi al bar: super simpatici e spiritosi. Un bel team di servizio, cibo regionale di qualità, location d'atmosfera e ricercata, nome milanese... Ho speso 9 euro con un calice di vino e l'acqua: che dire? Andrò lì tutti i mercoledì dopo l'uni! Chissà se fanno abbonamenti 🤔 Ma è già troppo scontato così, infatti ho lasciato la mancia 😉 A mercoledì! (Mi sto già pregustando il piatto di coppa 😂)
Una pausa aperitivo dopo shopping! Tagliere abbondante e ottimo vino. Il locale piccolo e accogliete con un'atmosfera frizzante. Ci ritornerò di sicuro.
IL MIO BAR PREFERITO A MILANO! Scoperto un anno fa e consigliato a tutti i miei amici. Ho festeggiato il mio compleanno e Laura e tutti i camerieri sono stati gentilissimi e attenti. Stuzzichini buonissimi e abbondanti, il loro spritz che non delude mai e servizio eccellente. Siamo stati veramente bene. Grazie!!! 💐💐

Conosco da tempo questo posto, ma ogni volta è come fosse la prima. Personale ottimo, professionale e gentile (ci ha servito un ragazzo di nome Diego ed è stato molto gentile), ottima qualità delle bevande, buon menù. I drink vengono assieme a un assortimento di piadine e salati prelibatissimo. Tornerò, come ogni sabato sera!
L’alter bar, drink che fanno la differenza (prodotti ottimi) accompagnati, nell’orario dell’aperitivo, da taglieri composti da salumi e formaggi della zona romagnola, piadine e stuzzicherie varie. Da sottolineare il fatto che si trova nel centro di milano. Abbiamo prenotato tramite Instagram e abbiamo ricevuto un trattamento meraviglioso. Consigliatissimo L’Espresso Martini.

Piccolo locale molto accogliente nel centro di Milano, che con il suo stile vintage e retrò rimane sempre molto moderno. Frequentato principalmente da ragazzi ma in generale da gente di tutte le età. Drink ottimi, camerieri cortesi e disponibili e taglieri eccezionali. Super consigliato!

L’alter Bar is fantastic! The team is so welcoming and friendly, and the owner makes you feel at home. The Limoncello Spritz was amazing — definitely coming back!
We've had a great time here in June 2025. Vibe is welcoming and authentic, quite bohemian, prices decent and with unexpectedly good tapas style snacks (on the house). Staff was very nice, quick and polite. We arrived before lunch hours so without a reservation. During lunch people come and go, it gets very busy. There appeared to be a lot of regular guests, which is telling of quality. Only minus is very small and old school toilet.
We landed in Milan with an hour between our trains — L’Alter Bar was in the midst of their “reservations only” happy hour, and still found us a table, space to keep our luggage out of the way, then plenty food and drink to satisfy our travel needs. It was fun to experience the local business people enjoying the bar too. The staff helped us to feel relaxed while in the midst of a long travel day. The history, the food, atmosphere and service were so special. You’ve got to experience L’Alter Bar 🙌🏼🇮🇹🎶😉

During 3 nights in Milan with my besties, we visited this place 3 times and didn't want to look for any other! Wonderful wine, the perfect Aperol Spritz, plus delicious hot snacks - this place really makes you feel the Italian atmosphere. The wonderful staff were always in a great humour. We met 4 different staff and everyone was charismatic and smiling - wonderful! You can feel that apart from the tourists it's a really loved place by the locals. Absolutely love it, thank you!

I visited the place based on the reviews and what a pleasant place it was, the gentleman who severed was friendly and the place had a cozy feeling to it, I ordered Aperol Spritz and it was amazing, will definitely comeback if I have the chance. 👍🏻

Amazing bar just near Cadorna station. Free from tourist mass, good drinks and food. You can enjoy a spritz and sides just for 8€. Highly recommended. Will visit again if I return to Milano.
Despite on showing up on a busy evening during design week they found us a spot and then apologized if took a while for service...but then immediately brought crisps and took our order within five minutes! Lovely spritzes and a very nice ham and cheese piadina to snack on. We can't wait to come back 💖
I'm so glad I found this place. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The cocktails were genuinely amazing and very fairly priced. We were served complementary food with our drinks as well! Aperitivo nella saletta in fondo. La cameriera si preoccupa di rispondere ai messaggi su WhatsApp mentre fanno bela mostra scopa, paletta e cestino della spazzatura su sgabello…le tortiere sono conservate sulle panche.
It sucked, food is not good, and the drinks are basic and unappetizing and the service is as bad as it gets. Got kicked out without warning because they reserved everything for some group, didn't tell us anything, and we weren't even allowed to take, our expensive drinks. Do not recommend!
Ridiculous. We came at 6:10pm on a Monday. There are zero customers here. Yet, the staff refuse to seat us for a quick spritz, telling us that all tables are reserved and will all arrive in 30 minutes all at the same time, so there was no way to serve us. Not only are the staff racist, they didn’t like that my wife and I are in our early forties with our well behaved 7 year old in tow.
