Pietanze veramente molto buone Ieri sera sono stata a cenare in questa deliziosa location con altri 3 amici...Abbiamo scelto tutti piatti diversi che oltre ad essere abbondanti erano tutti molto buoni. Tutto il personale gentile molto cortese e veloce... Una triade perfetta locale accogliente, personale gentile e pietanza buone. Che dire complimenti!! Sicuramente torneremo.

Il cibo è davvero ottimo. Il servizio è celere e i camerieri molto gentili. Il locale è ben arredato con tante belle foto di attori e cantanti alle pareti. Unico neo: le dimensioni delle stanze sono molto piccole e, secondo me, il numero dei tavoli, oggi a pranzo, era troppo alto e ci trovavamo tutti troppo vicini. Comunque si tratta di un locale da consigliare, assolutamente.

Scelto in base alle ottime recensioni e non abbiamo sbagliato! Volevamo assaggiare la cotoletta ma purtroppo era terminata e abbiamo optato per una fantastica polenta con ossobuco, x dolce assaggiato le striatelle. Servizio cortese, cibo ottimo, porzioni dignitose e buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato!

The food here is really great, especially the tiramisu. I have to say that was the best tiramisu I had in Italy. The top layer was so creamy and delicious. Me and my wife were both amazed by it.

Both dishes were prepared well, and everything tasted good.The service was also perfect. The staff were kind and attentive. ​Overall, it was a good meal with gentle service, also a good price for the area. I would recommend it.

Just wanted to say. My whole family is from America, some from Australia and some are from the Philippines. The food is fantastic and really savory. Not too salty and not too plain. Perfect balance. And the service was good. We had many pasta dishes as well as lamb, and the lamb was cooked perfect and tasted good. I like how it’s not too much a flavor with the lamb to taste the meat more. It goes good with wine! So far from eating at the central of Milan and at this one. This restaurant tasted the best by far.

A more quiet place. Easy to order in English, you can check the menu in multiple languages on their website. Ordered the Cacio e Pepe and the Gli Schiaffoni e le bombette di Montalbano. The food was very good, not expensive, definitely a recommended dinner place!

As a visitor from Australia, I knew were going to the canals but had no clue where to find something reasonably priced and authentic for Italy. A quick google search for the best places to eat Italian near the canals brought these guys up, and after trolling through the other options nearby I kept coming back to this one. Decided we'd try it, and I'm glad we did. Really friendly service, and good quality tasty food at a reasonable price. I had the Pappardelle with Sauce and Wild Boar Bites plus a glass of Chienti which paired well with it (on their recommendation). And then finished with the Nutella strips which are a generous amount of Nutella in their piadina with sourdough. When I get back to Milan, I'm glad I know I can get good Italian food here.

I just love this kind of places - run by family, so real and authentic. They are so honest in their food. It's not one of this fancy places with more form than real content. You can find all pastas from all around Italy, with unexpected classics like spaghetti all'assassina (delicious by the way). I recently visited this place which was recommended by a friend, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff was super helpful, assisting us in choosing our dishes by referencing photos we showed them from the internet. I had the spaghetti all'assassina, which was delicious, and my girlfriend enjoyed a classic carbonara. Both dishes were very tasty and surprisingly affordable. The surrounding area is also very pleasant in the evening, making it a perfect spot for a nice dinner out. This place is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for great pasta at good prices!

Fantastic local place offering both traditional favorites and unique dishes. Carbonara and octopus pasta were among the best. Service was fast and efficient and prices right. I’ll come back next time to try the wine.

Buona la qualita del cibo e ambiente con personale gentile

Eravamo in cinque, abbiamo preso arrosticini di agnello che erano un po asciutti e mancavano di sale. Le striatelle invece da leccarsi i baffi. Dei primi, gli gnocchi di ricotta erano eccezionali, come gli spaghetti all'assassina e anche i bucatini all'amatriciana. Le orecchiette alle cime di rape buone, ma molto, molto grasse. Penso che spadellandole i cuochi abbiano esagerato con l'olio. Lo stesso vale per i maltagliati al ragù, super grassi e salati. Il vino molto buono e i camerieri gentilissimi. Se dovessi ritornarci, prenderei più striatelle e meno primi.

Appena fuori dal caos dei Navigli ma abbastanza vicino per farci una passeggiata o un aperitivo subito prima, piatti buoni a prezzi accessibili. Piatti particolari e succulenti, sia di carne che per vegetariani, (purtroppo non ho provate le striatelle nè i primi). L'unica pecca il vino della casa non era granché. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!

We had a lovely meal at the restaurant. The portions were huge and I was pretty sad that I could not even finish my food. There were not too many wine selection, but the one we got was pretty decent. The atmosphere was good and the staff were pretty helpful. Overall we were happy with our meal.

It was a good dinner for a reasonable price. Interesting food choices. Probably good to book as it got busy. Only open at 7pm.

Non mi ha convinto al 100%. Porzioni ridotte e la mia carbonara era ghiacciata quando ho fatto notare la cosa mi è stato messo il piatto in forno e riportato ma purtroppo si era scaldato solo il piatto e non la pasta (anche perché se no sarebbe uscita fuori una frittata!), ottime invece le tagliatelle al cinghiale e gli arrosticini che ci hanno offerto gentilmente. Location piccola e tranquillola, conviene prenotare con anticipo. Tornerò per provare altro!

Siamo arrivati alle 14:45 e abbiamo capito di essere arrivati tardi per pranzare. Siamo stati a Milano quattro anni fa e ci era piaciuta moltissimo, ma questa volta non siamo riusciti ad arrivare prima e non ci hanno servito. Inoltre il personale non è stato per niente gentile, cosa che mi ha sorpreso perché la prima volta l’attenzione era stata ottima, al contrario di questa volta. Entendendo che ovviamente tutti abbiamo un orario e che, non sapendo quale fosse quello della cucina, avrebbero potuto dirlo con un sorriso, che non costa nulla. Non credo che torneremo, ma grazie 🙂

Food was good, I ordered the pasta dish with the ham balls. The translations are quite fun, it's called something like "the bomb and the balls". It was tasty and good, but I do think it lacked some flavour and volume. I was missing a bit more food and even stronger flavours. The food was served quickly. Also ordered the lamb skewers, which also tasted good. Service was great and fast, the staff wasn't super observant and even though we were first, we didn't really get people to take off our finished plates, which people who arrived later had happen to them before us. Price is reasonable.

Non è la prima volta che proviamo questo ristorante tipico. In passato ci siamo trovati bene ma evidentemente l'afflusso turistico ha portato ad un calo drastico della qualità. La cotoletta ordinata è stata a dir poco imbarazzante, della carne solo l'ombra. Sottile qualche millimetro. Abbiamo segnalato la cosa al cameriere che ha riportato alla gestore, nessuno però si è avvicinato per chiedere maggiori info o scusarsi. L'unico motivo per non dare una stella è la disponibilità e simpatia dei giovani camerieri. Per il resto, purtroppo, tourist trap.

Came here at the end of the night, maybe the chef was half asleep or didn’t care. Meat dish with polenta was served with meat seared on the outside but fully raw on the inside. We were given a carbonara as replacement, which was fine, but the oversight was disappointing considering the polenta dish is what we wanted. We also felt rushed, considering we came at the end of the night (were told to be out within the hour) but then having to wait on another dish to be made didn’t leave us much time to enjoy. Really wanted to love this place but it ended up being one of our least favourites :(

We went to this restaurant based on reviews only to have our one dinner in Milan ruined. The ambience of the restaurant is okay but that’s all it has to offer. It’s not really a restaurant but more like a fast food joint. The waiter serving us wasn’t warm at all. This was our first restaurant experience in italy and we expected at least average standards. The food was downright atrocious. We ordered 6 lamb skewers, 1 pork sandwich and pasta. All of it was served within 10 mins. The lamb skewers were raw and bland. I couldn’t eat them and had to spit them out. And this is someone who eats lamb regularly. The pork sandwich tasted like a big soup of tomato paste and shredded pork didn’t taste fresh at all. My wife ordered pasta and she said it was very average. Overall, not a restaurant I would ever go to or ever recommend in Milan. Just stay away.
