Abbiamo trovato questo posto per caso come alternativa ad un’altro ristorante di quella zona che ci aveva cancellato la prenotazione! Abbiamo fatto menù degustazione e devo dire che il cibo era ottimo! Servizio eccellente e prezzi molto onesti. Consiglio vivamente 🫶🏻

Nelle vicinanze dello IEO abbiamo pranzato nella locanda Macconago, ci hanno preparato due risotti incredibili, bellissimi da vedere ma soprattutto deliziosi da degustare. Consigliato assolutamente
Stupenda location, vecchio borgo riattato in modo eccellente, situato alle porte di Milano, la cucina logicamente come da tradizione, prepara piatti del luogo, non tramontati, e lo fanno in modo speciale!! 👏posto fantastico, cibo ottimo, prezzo giusto, in linea con la qualità dei prodotti, due opzioni di menu, uno con una portata, uno con due portate, oppure alla carta. Lo consiglio! 👍
Family lunch. The outdoor space is very well-kept, clean, and tidy. If the weather permits, eating outside is ideal. That said, the atmosphere inside is also very comfortable. We agreed on the €45 menu. If I had to find a flaw... the portions aren't very generous, but the quality is good. I'll definitely be back, perhaps in the spring.
A truly delightful surprise! Our daughter took us there to celebrate her mother's birthday. We found ourselves in front of a farmhouse that has been preserved in its original style! Inside, a beautifully kept garden. The rooms are welcoming, with plenty of references to the original. The service was attentive and helpful. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. We didn't see a wine list, but the one we chose was excellent. The desserts were unique. Definitely one to add to our agenda!
A sublime experience!! Everything was delicious, from appetizers to desserts, an explosive journey of flavors and aromas. I went there for lunch yesterday and I must say it was a delightful discovery. The location is close to the city but offers all the tranquility and beauty of the countryside. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The food is excellent and highly refined, drawing on tradition with a touch of research and experimentation that elevates the dishes. We paid just over €30 per person for an appetizer, first course, dessert, and drinks. I'll be back to explore the rest of the menu.
Discovered by chance online while searching for a location for our wedding lunch, it has since become our favorite place, so much so that we call it our little house. You're greeted by Gabriella's incredibly friendly and kind service, who, with the help of the young and attentive Rafael, immediately makes you feel at ease. In the kitchen, the "big guy" Alessandro, along with the talented Lorenza and Andrea, prepare mouth-watering dishes that are also beautiful to look at. A few examples: tagliolini with carbonara sauce, a dish in which chef Alessandro masterfully blends seasonal ingredients; risottos, which look like paintings, light and creamy; slow-cooked meat, tender and sublimely flavorful; desserts, hard to resist. All accompanied by an excellent selection of wines. The inn is a place surrounded by greenery where you can relax, as if you were in the countryside. Locanda Macconago, we love you! The girls
I never would have expected to find this fantastic inn just by looking at it from the outside. What can I say? Everything was very clean and fully compliant with COVID regulations. The lady who welcomed us was very friendly, kind, and helpful, as was the waiter, who was very professional. We had lunch at 2:00 PM and would have stayed much longer if we hadn't had a commitment at the IEO. The Christmas decorations were truly tasteful. You can pay by credit/debit card. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.
Locanda immersa nel verde dell'area sud di Milano. Esternamente il locale si sembra un pó trascurato (l'ingresso quasi non si nota), mentre il giardino interno è molto curato ed il locale internamente è arredato bene. Menù principalmente di terra, con materie prime buone e trattate bene. Personale gentile e disponibile.
The atmosphere is charming, well-maintained, and rustic, inside an old country courtyard. The dishes are well-prepared, though detached from tradition. The portions are small, but they're enough to avoid overeating. The service was courteous, though a bit patchy at times. I had a good time.
Lunch for six, a lovely discovery because it's like escaping to the countryside without leaving Milan. The selection and presentation of the dishes are excellent. The tagliata, risotto, and desserts are top notch. The tortelli round is disappointing, with the pasta too thick and the fillings unappetizing. Unfortunately, the courses weren't well-timed, with some people missing their courses while others were eating.
I visited the inn for lunch with colleagues. The place is beautiful; it doesn't even feel like Milan, surrounded by greenery and tranquility. Great attention is paid to the refinement of the dishes, reinterpreted with a gourmet twist. Unfortunately, however, an unfortunate incident occurred that prevents me from giving it 5 stars. I was served a dish with a hair inside. I notified the lady in the dining room, who promptly took it away. I expected to receive a hair in exchange, or for it to be discounted from the total cost, but unfortunately that wasn't the case: no explanation was given, and more than half the dish was left uneaten. I'm very disappointed because it's a place I'd return to, but the way this situation was handled left me a bit perplexed. Response to the owner: Good evening, Mr. Alessandro, thank you for your reply, and I'd like to correct what I said above regarding the handling of the situation. Unfortunately, the message wasn't conveyed clearly. I will definitely return because the food is excellent and the atmosphere is intimate and pleasant. Regarding infallibility, I certainly and completely agree with you! Have a good evening, you and your staff.
The place is very welcoming, it feels like you're back in time, even though you're in Milan, just 200 meters from the IEO. The menu is very short, with quality ingredients cooked to perfection. Traditional dishes are revisited with a touch of creativity. The wine list is very authentic to Lombardy. The only drawback is that it's only open for lunch from Monday to Saturday.

The food isn't exciting and the portions are small. The set menu on weekends is a nice idea, but for the price, I'd expect to eat more. The atmosphere inside could also be improved.
It's located within the equestrian center, with access from Via Macconago. The restaurant's interior is welcoming and recently renovated. It's a shame the temperature is uncomfortable in the winter. Regarding the menu, we chose the business menu for €24 per person, which includes a first course, a second course, cover charge, and water. The first courses were delicious, which I recommend, and the "wrong" carbonara, which was flavorless and, unfortunately, arrived hot. For the second courses, we chose a hamburger, which we liked, and the pork "tunato," which was good and delicate, but unfortunately, this dish also arrived hot. Recommended for its proximity to the IEO.

Nice and welcoming atmosphere, good service, and friendly, quick waiters. Let's get to the sore point: the prices are very high. I had a risotto that was beautifully plated but lacked flavor... the ingredients were disjointed. A single dish cost €19, not including a drink, coffee, and dessert. So the total is much higher. When you order a single dish, you think of it as a first and second course, even if the portions are small, not a risotto with a bit of meat on top. The dessert was good, the only positive note. I wouldn't recommend it.
Ho preso un primo di tortellini che sembravano di plastica, asciutti e crudi, immangiabili. Un secondo di carne insomma, Il pane duro, un servizio scarso. É stata una delusione.
We're not here, gentlemen. These 4.3 average reviews are truly inexplicable given my experience. When I sit down at a restaurant and spend €78, I'd like to be able to say I've eaten truly well. The fresh air, the small garden, and the well-kept lawn aren't enough: you need quality cuisine! We ordered two menus (appetizer, first course, and second course), a glass of water, and a glass of wine. Let's start with the appetizer; it looked delicious and we enjoyed it—perhaps the only positive note. After an hour or more of waiting, they showed up with the first course, a saffron risotto with mushrooms (two pioppini mushrooms) and (if you could find them) pistachios. It arrived COLD and RAW, with gourmet portions, as if we were at Cracco's. I was honest and told the waiter that: the flavor was fine (when the dishes are cold, you taste more ;)), but it was cold and RAW, both mine and my wife's. The waiter apologized and offered to remake it in 3 minutes (was he basically microwaved it for me?) Honestly, we'd been sitting there for an hour and a half with little food left, so we decided to continue with the main course. The main course arrived promptly, which initially gave us hope. It was a "low-temperature cooked" meat, which in my world means it's cooked for longer at a lower temperature, with a sauce on top (also very gourmet). But guess what? This was COLD too. But I say, you're a restaurant, can you at least be smart enough to bring the dish to the customer hot? It's 30 degrees outside, you can't serve everything at 15 degrees! It's cold!! I left part of the dish and went to the cashier, paid, and after paying they asked me "how it went" (the lady was clever; asking first might have been unprofitable for business purposes, right?). So I reported this incident, and they justified themselves by saying, "Well, the meat was cooked at a low temperature..." Obviously, I felt like I was being taken for a ride, but what kind of excuse is that? But at least have the decency to admit your mistake!! Perhaps seeing me hesitant, the lady tried to make amends by offering me coffee and liqueur. I politely declined, because that's no way to fix a disaster like this! I suggest the restaurant apologize, take some time to reorganize, consider lowering prices, and actually start cooking, preferably on the spot, and POSSIBLY with hot dishes. I'll finish with a photo of the beautifully presented risotto: Three nice spoonfuls of cold, RAW rice. Finally, if it wasn't perfectly clear, I'd like to clarify: I will never return.
If i could have 0 star i would have, stay the heck away from it!! The awfully customer service ever... And im 52...and horrible food. No idea why they are in hospitality... Sure they don't know the meaning of the world
