Super moment passé ce dimanche dans ce coffee ! Les deux baristas étaient super accueillants, souriants et de très bon conseil. On sent qu’ils connaissent vraiment bien leur café et qu’ils aiment ce qu’ils font. Le café était excellent, parfaitement préparé. Je reviendrai sans hésiter ! 😊

I went to quite a few specialty coffee shops in Paris on this visit, and this was my favorite! I went back to this location and one other location at least 3 times during my 5 day visit to Paris. Noir was founded by the current French barista champion (I think). So if that says anything about its quality. They also do an amazing job at being consistent across their locations. If you care about specialty coffee and good smooth espresso, go here. It was so buttery and sweet. Maybe it was the milk, maybe it was the espresso. Regardless, they know how to make a cappuccino! So frickin’ good. I am really particular about my coffee. Not in a picky drinker kind of way, but in an “I care about good quality coffee” kind of way. I’m not just gonna give out 5 stars because it’s cute or because they have iced lattes. In fact one barista here got snarky when an American girl asked for an iced latte. Noir knows what it does well, and it sticks to it! Americano’s were great too!

Ottimo caffè per essere a Parigi! Ci troviamo davanti questo locale per puro caso, dopo pranzo. Decidiamo quindi di provare il caffè, nella speranza di non trovare la solita acqua sporca. Questo localino è accogliente, dall'arredamento moderno e smart. Il personale si presenza dinamico e cordiale. Ci sono varie proposte di bevande a base di caffè, latte e latte vegetale e dei dolci sul bancone. È anche possibile acquistare il caffè in chicchi/macinato. Il caffè espresso costa sui 3 euro, ma il prezzo diventa accettabile data la sua qualità. Anche i non esperti possono riconoscere che l'aroma del caffè è molto buono. Consiglio quindi, se siete in zona, di passare per gustarvi un buon caffè.

pretty small for me personally but overall the service is very very very quick which i absolutely love, the baristas are very friendly and nice. I got a cafe latte and it delicious, there’s that perfect balance between bitter and sweet coffee.

Well known chain of speciality coffee in Paris, very busy place long lines. The coffee was good but I found it very intense to my personal liking, I personally prefer lighter coffees. In addition to coffee they have very limited selection of desserts.

Not the best in Paris. The coffee was fine, and the cookies were delicious. However, the staff came across as awkward and made the experience a bit uncomfortable. There seems to be a general issue in Paris with how some places treat foreigners — this was no exception. As usual, everything starts in French, and only after you step in and switch to English do they adjust. A bit more warmth and openness would go a long way.

Today I visited Café Noir near the Tuileries Garden. And I was extremely disappointed. I ordered a matcha latte with regular milk, but received a bitter, lukewarm matcha. The cup I received was not the café’s regular cup. In addition, the service felt unfriendly, which left a negative impression. I really like Café Noir, but today I was disappointed.

Service hallucinant pour un samedi après-midi 15h15. Beaucoup d’attente, un serveur en service qui mange derrière le comptoir au lieu de servir une file de clients qui envahit la boutique. Les serveurs papotent et restent même à ne rien faire et à commenter le latte art du collègue, créant de l’attente supplémentaire et faisant partir des gens excédés de la boutique. Le latte art est un échec complet sur les boissons commandées, faisant recommencer le serveur qui semble être un stagiaire ? Il abandonnera d’ailleurs sur une des deux boissons. Inadmissible pour le prix. Les tables sur place sont sales, envahies de miettes. Vraiment dommage car la qualité des produits semblait être au rendez-vous initialement.

I think noir is a very good franchise in general but for some reason they gave us half of half size. Actually I think that's a strong indication the franchise is going down. And trust me this is a small cup in the image. Also, it's clear that employee attitudes vary from branch to branch. Here, I can definitely say they are rude. Maybe it's because it's near tourist areas, but I don't know. There was a curly haired employee must specifically careful how they communicate with people!!

The mocha was basically just milk, with barely any coffee, and absolutely no chocolate taste at all (which is even more frustrating considering they charge more for a mocha than for a latte). 6.2 euros for a mocha + 0.5€ for oat milk… Prices are higher than any coffee shop in Paris, the place is crowded and loud, and drinks are served in paper cups even when you sit in. Overall, no quality, no comfort, no point, unfortunately.

Could this be racial discrimination that only Asians experience? I have been living in Paris for over two years and have visited many Noir Coffee locations throughout the city. Of course, this is my first time at this particular location. Even when ordering cold drinks, I was always given a coaster with my coffee. However, this place was different. Despite ordering my coffee politely, I was the only one who received coffee in a water cup, without a coaster. Of course, not having a coaster and drinking coffee from a water cup doesn’t change the taste of the coffee, but I feel uncomfortable because I paid for a service that includes these basic elements, and yet I received different treatment. When I was leaving, due to the large crowd, I politely wrote down my thoughts on a notepad and showed it to the staff. They told me they couldn’t provide a coaster because of the cold drink, and that’s why they served it in a water cup. I don’t understand. Everyone who ordered after me was given a full set, yet I was the only one who wasn’t
