A wonderful local restaurant tucked away in a quiet area. We were the only tourists, surrounded by families celebrating birthdays, which made the atmosphere feel incredibly authentic. The ossobuco was outstanding, the aperitivo superb, and every dessert was homemade and genuinely delicious. Service was exceptional, at one point my prosecco wasn’t fizzing properly, and the waiter immediately replaced it without me even asking. The wine selection is all local, and the waiter can discuss with you what you fancy and what goes with what dish. Highly recommend.

We had dinner at the Osteria yesterday. It was our first time there, and we found the place after reading reviews on Google. There were five of us and we ordered: - three antipasti from the host (hand-sliced ​​local cured meats, vol-au-vents with cream cheese and hazelnut praline, nervetti, warm bean salad, and caramelized red onions) - a portion of snails and polenta - two risottos with ossobuco - an off-the-menu pasta dish with white vegetable and pancetta ragù - a risotto with porcini mushrooms and a crepe with baby vegetables and mushrooms - three slices of cake, one with apples and chantilly cream, one with warm dark chocolate, and one with double chocolate and red berries - two bottles of red wine - a coffee - two barrel-aged grappas and an amaro - several bottles of water We spent slightly less than two hundred euros, which, considering we were in Milan in a not-too-out-of-the-way area (Bicocca) and everything we polished off—and I say polished off because it was all truly delicious—is really very little. I'd like to focus on the beauty of the place, which has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, well-appointed tables, soft but not overly so lighting, and tastefully furnished corners to explore. But above all, I'd like to praise the precise, kind, and helpful service of the owner, who runs the Osteria with his wife (the chef! And what a chef!). He made us feel pampered and welcomed in a family-like but not overly so atmosphere that made everyone in our small group feel at ease. I truly recommend it, even though I know I'd be sad to call and not find a table because of this review! Thank you!

You can feel the true flavor of tradition. Hearty, truly delicious dishes. Family-run, a place that makes you feel truly at home, even if you're from the deep South. Recommended for those who want to eat well, without spending a fortune.

Very local and not touristic restaurant. Great if you want to try some local dishes away from the busy centre. The host tried it’s best to accomodate us in english and the food was absolutely amazing! Many home made delicacies and cakes.
