Best ramen I've had in a long time, and the best here in Italy so far. I had the classic shoyu ramen. The noodles were homemade and al dente, the broth was delicious, and the chashu and egg were cooked just right. The server Gianmarco was very sweet and friendly. I also liked that the ramen comes in two sizes. There are lots of other things on the menu that I look forward to trying as well. Molto buono, molto autentico ramen giapponese. Carino e amichevole.

I went here with my family, there are also kids menu available. The qr code to order directly from my phone didn’t work. The waitress was smiling and caring but she was alone and obviously she couldn’t provide an optimal service. The dishes taste nice but the curry was a little bland and okonomiyaki had too much sauce on it. Overall a decent experience with a lot of room for improvement.

Great food and ambiance! We had Vegi & Chicken Gyoza, perfect crunch on both of them, as well as veggie and pork ramen. However, for 14 euros (for the “big” size) the portion is slightly small and would expect them to put at least two slices of pork in the ramen. For dessert, don’t forget to order the Matchamisù! All in all great for a quick cozy dinner

Chicken noodles were “al dente”. Unusual, but it feels weird in ramen🍜 Location makes you feel like you are in Japan 🇯🇵 with decoration and mangas- authentic.

I expected better, overall ok but not competitive with other ramen places in Isola area. Gyoza very sub par, noodles and broth good but not exceptional. the only good thing is the karaage, with was delicious.

Ordered a Katsu Curry last night at this place. Got disappointed about the size of the portion (at least half the amount I would have expected for the price). Got food poisoning some 4 hours later. Thought I was going to die from sickness. Guess it’s good I couldn’t have more of it like I wanted, after all?….

Ramen, to me, is more than just a dish—it's a blend of tradition, passion, and quality. Unfortunately, my experience at Akira Ramen fell short of these expectations. While the restaurant's appearance is modern and visually appealing, the overall atmosphere felt rather generic and impersonal. The setup, with plastic chairs, QR code menus, and extremely fast service, gave off a fast-food vibe. While efficiency is appreciated, the space lacked the cozy, characteristic charm that one associates with a good ramen house. Moving on to the food, which should be the heart of the experience: it was, regrettably, underwhelming. The broth, a cornerstone of any ramen, was just fine but lacked the depth and richness that make ramen so comforting. The noodles were slightly overcooked, losing the satisfying texture one expects, and the chicken was plain and boiled, offering no flavor or excitement. Overall, the dish lacked balance and vibrancy, leaving much to be desired. Given the competitive landscape in the area, with many other ramen options available, Akira Ramen has significant room for improvement. With more attention to the quality of ingredients, preparation techniques, and creating a welcoming and authentic atmosphere, the restaurant could elevate its offerings and stand out. I hope to see these improvements in the future, as Akira Ramen has potential. For now, I would recommend exploring other ramen spots in the area for a more satisfying and authentic experience.
