Sono stata recentemente da Taveggia e, come sempre, è stata un’ottima esperienza. L’ambiente è accogliente e ben curato, e il personale è davvero gentile e professionale, sia al banco che in sala. Si percepiscono attenzione verso il cliente e passione per il lavoro: è un posto in cui si torna sempre volentieri. Consigliatissimo. Purtroppo mi è capitato di assistere a una situazione spiacevole, in cui una signora con un bambino sosteneva di essere stata trattata male. Se ho capito bene, il problema riguardava il pagamento del servizio al tavolo. Credo però si sia trattato solo di un malinteso. Taveggia rimane comunque un locale sempre accogliente e affidabile.👍👍🥰🥰♥️♥️

They have a vegan croissant that is delicious. Their coffee is also on point. My friend had the non-vegan pastries and was blown away. Excellent, very classic Italian coffee shop/bar. We stopped in randomly while hunting for vegan breakfast, I was about to get stressed out but then we found this place!

We adored this place. We had a languid morning then wandered off for coffee at Taveggia just down the road. What a gorgeous and classy place! Just beautifully fitted out. They served us a superb Expresso here. Lovely little biscuits too. Gorgeous soft music playing. Nice waiter too. Really good classy menu. Limited selection of great breakfast and lunch dishes but they’re clearly all good. This was a lovely experience. It’s superior olde world charm without excessive cost. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately now it is surrounded, almost sieged by huge traffic but environment, quality still put it into the gotha of milanese coffee shops. Posto storico e molto carino. Questa volta ho preso tè e pasticcini, ma in passato avevo già acquistato un vassoio di dolci da portare a casa di amici, rimanendo soddisfatto. Peccato per il personale, un po’ sulle sue, e per il fatto che non ci sia stato portato il menù per poter vedere con calma tutte le proposte disponibili.

Bar pasticceria storico, nel Centro di Milano ,locale datato e originale nulla è variato nell'arredamento elegante e nell'atmosfera tranne la proprietà di cui ha mantenuto il nome " Taveggia",personale accogliente e ospitale ,frequentato e ritrovo di clienti habitué e non ,salottino adiacente e piano inferiore un pò soffocante per mancanza di luce naturale. Ottimo il caffè,peggiorata nel tempo la pasticceria!

It’s really difficult to judge an entire business by a single visit. The service was good. Pastry was pleasant and the cappuccino was fair. Not the best I had in Italy but that’s just my opinion. Overall it’s a nice pastry store to visit. Has character to it.

Being here on a rainy day was very uplifting. The place looks pretty fancy and it felt a little weird to have a nice tea while the tables next to us just kept ordering champagne. Still, the white tea was great and the biscuits here were delicious. One brioche in particular, filled with cream, stuck in our minds. Don't hesitate to come in, expect to pay up to 10€ per person for tea and little cakes.

I went to this place with my family twice, and it was very different the two times. The first time was actually quite nice. We had pancakes and coffee. The pancakes were a bit stale, but good nonetheless. However the waiter couldn’t understand my coffee order. I ordered an iced cappuccino with oat milk as I cannot have normal milk, but when it came I could easily taste that it was regular cows milk, even when they repeated the order saying it’s “avena” (oat). However the service was fast and the restaurant seemed cozy. With that said….the second time we went there we were met with horrible service. To get the menus we asked two different waiters multiple times, and after about 15 minutes we got the menus. We ordered everything relatively fast as we kind of knew what we wanted to get, and the waitress took the order fast too. Then…15 minutes past, no coffee…20 minutes, finally get the coffee…30 minutes, food still isn’t here, so we ask the waitress if our food is on the way…then after another while we ask a different waiter to check on our food as we didn’t get anything special..after a few minutes this new waiter brings our food and it’s cold. It really seems like it’s been sitting for 30 minutes just chilling, cause the eggs were rubbery, the bread was stale, everything was cold and just unappetizing. Also seemed like that first waitress just had some form of prejudice against us, she was very slow (only for us, other tables that came later were being served by the same waitress and even the same dishes much earlier) ignored us a few times and at the end it wasn’t even her serving us. So a total of almost an hour of waiting for cold eggs. I would give it 1 star but our first experience was okay, thus the 2. Oh yeah also as we were so hungry when waiting, so we ordered the pastries, similar to other reviews they tasted, well, not so fresh, most likely day old. Edible nonetheless. So overall, horrible service, but just by that one waitress who served us, everyone else is average. Food is not the best but okay if you really need some place to eat. Atmosphere is cozy and aesthetically pleasing with a vintage feel. Wouldn’t go back there after the last time.

Bella pasticceria storica di milano, arredata molto bene. Purtroppo però carente sia nel servizio che nella qualità... Cioccolata calda commerciale ,molto artificiale e troppo dolce. Per ordinare una tisana è stata una vera sfida, la cameriera di malavoglia propone le tisane, scelgo una tisana, torna portando l'acqua calda per la tisana ma senza la bustina, era finita. Ok nessun problema scelgo un'altra, torna dopo 5 minuti finita anche quella.. alla fine dopo altri 5 minuti c' erano solo due opzioni camomilla o frutti rossi... la tisana non era neanche male , ma la ragazza molto poco professionale e molto poco cordiale. Normali i pasticcini. Peccato perchè il locale è molto carino.

NON ANDATE IN QUESTO POSTO!! Io e il mio amico siamo venuti in questo posto per la prima volta, nessuno ci ha aiutato con i menu, il che era strano visto che il posto era vuoto. Abbiamo ordinato i nostri piatti e ci hanno messo un'eternità a sparecchiare. Volevo andarmene, ma il mio amico ha insistito perché rimanessimo. Abbiamo ordinato una bottiglia di Ruinart e poi abbiamo deciso che dovevamo andare in bagno. Ho lasciato i miei occhiali da sole Gucci sul tavolo perché erano lì da quando siamo arrivati, li ho lasciati così i camerieri sapevano che saremmo tornati. Siamo tornati dal bagno e i miei occhiali da sole erano SPARITI!! Abbiamo chiamato il cameriere e a lui non importava affatto e invece ha detto che non c'erano prove! Gli ho mostrato le foto che mostravano gli occhiali da sole e ho chiesto di vedere le telecamere, indovinate un po'? Hanno detto che non avevano telecamere. Ho chiesto di chiamare la polizia e il cameriere ha detto che non c'erano prove che fossero dove avevo detto di averli lasciati!! I miei occhiali da sole da 500 euro sono spariti così, senza che al ristorante importasse niente!! Quindi per favore fatevi un favore e non andate in questo posto!!

Perdonale scortese che ha trattato male mio figlio che stava mangiando secondo loro nel bancone sbagliato. Peccato l altro bancone fosse alto a misura inaccessibile per un bambino. Quando è stata fatta notare la scortesia la signora dietro la cassa a oniziato a vociare ec urlare contro di noi come se non volessimo pagare il servizio al tavolo. Posto di maleducati. Il peggiore un ragazzo probabilmente di origini indiane che ha intimato un bambino che in modo educato si era appoggiato su un bancone sbagliato e che serve la pasticceria. Se questo è il cameriere del posto aiutoooo !! Begli auguri di Natale ci hanno fatto in questo posto.

West Gate

First, its location in the outskirts of the suburbs of Milan makes it far from the main live parts of the city. The food was bad, it was as if it was made 3 days ago and the coffee was tasteless it tasted as if it was made from cheap instant coffee powder. The seating area in the basement is as depressing as being in a solitary confinement. It’s very expensive considering the lousy service and the tasteless coffee and the leftovers.

We made a mistake of going to this place which is remotely located. The place from the inside was dull and depressing. The service is lousy. Their items are overpriced. The coffee is cold, and the pastries tasted like they were leftovers from the previous day. The floor was dirty. They seem to have a lack of hygiene issue.

We had the worst service in this place. Not only the pastries and cakes were of lower quality than the main branch in Bologna, but the person who handled our order was rude and unprofessional. We were unjustifiably denied a table in the seating area.
