This hole-in-the-wall gem has authentic Chinese classics with various types of fresh noodles dishes... whatever u order here is a safe bet. Highly recommend any noodles soup and the grilled meat dumplings 👌

Amazing authentic Chinese food. Serving time was very fast and the staff is also very friendly. Highly recommended for people visiting Milan and looking for delicious food. The prices are also very reasonable.

Had the milenar egg with tofu and spice shrimp. So amazing!! The milenar egg tastes delicious and the spicy sauce on the shrimp is also really good. Want to go back many times since they have a huge menu.

Excellent Chinese food. It's in an unassuming little restaurant which felt like a local Chinese place rather than a grand fancy Chinese and the food was very tasty. They bring it all out as it's ready so you get things in a random order. Was also surprisingly cheap for the amount of food and beer we drank!

Cucina cinese molto buona in un locale dal servizio svelto e sbrigativo. Se il locale è pieno (non ci sono tanti coperti) si attende fuori il primo tavolo disponibile.

Sicuramente la gentilezza e la cura degli ospiti non è il punto di forza di questo locale, ma fa parte dell'esperienza. Posto che mantiene la sua autenticità, non prenotabile, piccolo ma accogliente e non adatto a chi cerca privacy. Servizio molto veloce, qualità prezzo ottima. Consiglio i ravioli, il pollo e la pasta, non l'anatra.

Vado circa due volte l’anno da una decina d’anni. Veloci, cibo buonissimo, molto economico. Uniche pecche sono che c’è spesso fila (non accettano prenotazioni e non gestiscono più la fila scrivendo l’ordine di arrivo dei commensali) e che il posto è molto caotico. Mettono anche gruppi diversi nello stesso tavolo, ma basta saperlo prima.

Good Chinese food for a great price. I would have loved bigger portions but I can't complain. Service is quick and perfunctory. This is to be expected since the restaurant is small but very busy. I had the ginger beef and the mixed fried rice. Both were tasty and fresh. The bottle of Tsingtao beer they serve is huge and can easily be shared between two people. It was a struggle to finish it. I ended my meal with some rose gelato that refreshed my palate after the super savory meal. If you're in Milan and craving Chinese food, eating at Hua Cheng will hit the spot.

Extreme well made Chinese food. We truly enjoyed the two dishes and the dumplings. We had #57 pasta Fresca saltata (our favorite) #70, #19 and the torta Chinese. I highly recommend the food. It was excellent. English isn’t a very known language here. So pointing works well.

The food is good in general, however I expected it to be more salty. Soy sauce is provided for sure to enhance the flavor but I really expect the original taste to be bolder. We came on Tuesday evening at 7am, it wasn’t crowded at all, which was good. I recommend steam bacon!

Nice foods, reasonable pricing. They aren't friendly but they aren't rude. They are just busy. Recommend to anyone who wants to eat chinese food in nice price and fast serving.

The noodles we ordered were good but we missed a bit more flavor in it. More vegetables would be appreciated. The food was cooked fast since it was no rush hour. The prize was OK.

Locale davvero spartano, stile osteria, con tavoli condivisi. Cibo buono ma nella media di altri ristoranti cinesi. Alcuni piatti erano buoni ma gli mancava quella marcia in più che mi aspettavo visto che questo locale é stato recensito da molti food influencer. I prezzi sono concorrenziali, da 20-25€ a testa per un buon pasto. Servizio molto spartano, anche qui in stile osteria. Abbiamo fatto 30-40 min di coda per pranzare dopo le 14 la domenica. Quindi in generale visto il rapporto qualità prezzo ci sta provarlo ma io personalmente considerando la coda per entrare (non si può prenotare), non so se tornerei. Hanno accettato il mio cagnolino senza problema, ma gli spazi sono molto ristretti, quindi non consiglierei di portarsi un cane oltre gli 8-10kg altrimenti si fa fatica a farlo stare comodo sotto il tavolo.

Ravioli erano buoni 8 per 8 euro. Spaghetti sola carne e verdura - di carne non ne ho visto proprio. Spaghetti con gamberi di gamberi ne ho trovati 3 di numero... insomma sono uscito e avevo fame . Non ho capito tutta gente accecata davanti per entrare ... locale sembra una trattoria vecchia Milanoanni 60 di secolo scorso finita in mano ai cinesi , manco rinnovata a parte soffitto . Insomma c'è ne di meglio in zona

Il posto come da definizione di trattoria è alla buona, all’interno in uno spazio abbastanza piccolo ci sono tavoli da sei persone quindi se come nel mio caso sei in due condivi la cena con altre persone. Non si può prenotare quindi più si è e più l’attesa fuori dal locale rischia di essere lunga anche se il servizio è molto veloce. Come tipico del ristorante cinese una volta ordinato arriva tutto un po’ insieme, per poter assaggiare un po’ di cose l’ideale è essere almeno quattro persone. Quanto alla mia esperienza ho preso un paio di antipasti freddi che sono arrivati praticamente usciti dal frigo..non il massimo. Il ramen era piatto come sapore. Il maiale in agrodolce buono. Le porzioni sono generose. Infine il prezzo, l’aspettativa era di spendere meno alla fine in due con quatto antipasti due prime due secondi ed un dolce abbiamo speso 71 euro. Insomma le tre stelle sono dovute alla mia voglia di sperimentare non sufficientemente premiata, agli antipasti troppo freddi ed al prezzo finale non corrispondente alle aspettative (ma forse corretto).

Sul cibo nulla di ridire, molto buono con nota di merito al gelato fritto!!! Purtroppo nel locale si è troppo stretti con tavoli condivisi per ottimizzare gli spazi, il servizio è velocissimo per liberare posto il prima possibile, talmente veloce che mentre si mangia il dolce viene già chiesto se si vuole il caffè.. Capisco il business ma ogni cosa il suo tempo..

Locale spartano con tavoli condivisi, cibo nella media. Alcuni membri del personale decisamente scortesi. Non c’è possibilità di prenotare, prezzi tutto sommato abbastanza buoni. Ho provato molti altri posti e in zona secondo c’è di meglio.

Andato per curiosità dopo aver visto il locale alla televisione, sono rimasto deluso. Cibo senza lode e senza infamia lontano da ciò che mi aspettavo. Ho mangiato meglio in molti altri locali e i ravioli di carne alla griglia era normalissimo ravioli , forse pure sotto tono. Andato per curiosità ma nn ho nessun motivo per tornare. Locale molto spartano.

Non mi è piaciuto, l’anatra in agrodolce non era per niente buona (molto grassa e certi pezzi erano immangiabili), gli spaghetti gamberi e verdure non sapevano di niente, buoni invece gli involtini primavera e i ravioli di carne! Servizio molto scortese e veloce, la sala non ha tanti posti a sedere, non accettano prenotazioni! Il conto è in linea con gli altri cinesi! In zona c’è sicuramente di molto meglio!!!

siamo arrivati in questo ristorante dopo averlo visto nel programma televisivo "Foodish" abbiamo quindi voluto provare i famosi ravioli cinesi che avevano fatto vincere la puntata a questo ristorante. Credo di non averne mangiati di così scarsi ed insapore, così come anche gli altri piatti che abbiamo scelto. Il servizio per altro non è stato per niente gentile e disponibile. Mai piu'

Came here following good reviews. The waiter was impatient and irritated, far from friendly, spoke very basic English. The beef dish didn't look like beef (see picture attached). The food itself was good, as well as the hot tea. But the service was less pleasant and totally didn't justify the 1.5eu coperto/person.

Nice food, but portions way too small for the price (€8 for a plate) The food looks nothing like the menu pictures!! I don’t understand how this place is highly rated. The room itself is way too small, crowded and noisy. I couldn’t hear my friend talking- how is this meant to be enjoyable? You’ll also be sat right by someone else as the tables are shared. I won’t come back again..

Had quite a few Chinese food in Italy and this is by far the worst experience (Others were great in fact). Ordered Kung pao chicken. It came out looking NOT LIKE KUNGPAO CHICKEN and chicken cubes were so small. Also, the soup we ordered is as small as our rice bowl as you can see in the photo. In summary, small servings and bad food. NOT WORTH.

I REALLY don't understand why this place has great reviews. Honestly, my mind is blown... into millions of tiny little pieces of soup dumplings that ARE NOT actually soup dumplings because that's what they serve at Hua Cheng. I ordered the xiao long bao, roast duck and water. The ONLY authentic thing served was water and they could not have possibly messed that up since it was a bottle of mineral water. The xiao long bao was somewhat (that's me being generous) juicy but there was NO soup on the inside. It was basically just a sub-par dumpling that you could have gotten at a street cart. The roast duck was NOT roasted, but rather deep fried, or perhaps they reheated it so much in the oven that it seemed deep fried. Also, the roast duck was not served with rice. Please tell me what Chinese restaurant has roast duck on the menu and is not served with rice? Major face palm moment. It was the STRANGEST experience since the restaurant was fully packed and there was a line outside as well. I REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND THE HYPE. Don't even get me started about the quality of the food- I was looking around at the dishes that others ordered around me and all of the sauces looked watered down and bland. Someone ordered fried rice and it literally looked like white rice gently tossed with canned peas, carrots and spam. The soup noodle portions looked big though-- that's the only plus I can think of. Do yourself a favor and do not go here. I'm a native Chinese New Yorker so without sounding too narcissistic, I know authentic Chinese food, and I can confidently say that Hua Cheng does not serve authentic Chinese food.
