Il Paiolo è un esempio di successo della rara combinazione tra accoglienza da tipica trattoria all'italiana e tovagliato bianco da ristorante a cinque stelle. Non è mai deserto, il che prova l'esistenza di una più che meritata clientela abituale. Il consiglio spassionato è di provare la loro catalana, l'astice è freschissimo, vedrete la carne staccarsi dalla chela senza lasciare il minimo residuo. Ho girato il mondo ma questa è stata una delle migliori. Abbiamo mangiato la catalana, un dolce, con acqua e mezzo litro di vino della casa spendendo 70 euro in due. Il prezzo, per la qualità offerta è decisamente competitivo. Siamo tornati con la famiglia e abbiamo assaggiato anche il polpo con la trevigiana, l'insalata di carciofi con polpo e gamberi, i loro ravioli e gli spaghetti all'astice ed era tutto assolutamente a regola d'arte. Non perdete un assaggio della meneghina se andate in inverno, un panettone davvero inedito. Mi auguro di faticare a trovar posto da loro, perchè quando si lavora con tanta serietà e qualità si merita il pienone! Bravi!!!

Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante stile retrò con cucina sarda e toscana. Come antipasto abbiamo preso il piatto che rappresenta i due prodotti tipici delle due regioni: pecorino sardo e prosciutto crudo tagliato a mano, una delizia; seguito da un’insalata fredda di carciofi freschi, gamberetti e polpo morbidissimo. Abbiamo continuato con due primi: vongole e cabras e i loro ravioli fatti a mano con il ragù, favolosi. In conclusione una millefoglie è un tiramisù, degno di quello di mamma. Il tutto contornato da un servizio professionale e allo stesso tempo accogliente. Ovviamente non sono mancati a fine cena gli amari sardi artigianali gentilmente offerti CI TORNEREI

On a quiet Monday evening this restaurant was everything we needed it to be - our farewell to Italy, our last meal before getting on a plane. The food was simply perfect. The service was spot on - accomodating for teenagers and adults - attentive, understanding, accomodating… And please do try the tiramisu - home made and one of the best we have tried in Italy.

I had the pleasure of dining at an Italian restaurant tonight, and it was truly a delightful experience. The highlight of the meal was the rigatoni with mashrooms ragu – perfectly cooked pasta enveloped in a rich, flavorful sauce that tasted like it had been simmering for hours. It was hearty, comforting, and absolutely delicious. We also tried the florentine steak, which was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful sear on the outside and juicy, tender meat inside. It was served with simple yet flavorful accompaniments that let the quality of the steak shine. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the experience – warm, welcoming, and authentically Italian. Me and my friends love this place. We are in Milan for a semester and we have been here with friends and family and boyfriends and it has been just wonderful each time. Staff is so nice, food is great, we are going to miss it! Try the chocolate pear tart! It’s a must!

The lobster pasta was so delicious, I was keep thinking about it even a day after. And the stake was so tender and wasn’t so meaty so I really enjoyed. Chips were great combination. Tiramisu was sold out so I tried gelato with berries, was absolutely tasty as well. Only one disadvantage is that the minimum order for the lobster pasta is 2 people, so I couldn’t order when I went back days later. But was fine:)

Delicious pasta restaurant! We ordered (1) Tagliatelle with ragu (2) Rigatoni with mushroom and cream (2) Octopus salad. All are made with fresh ingredients and served at generous portion. The pasta is fresh and perfectly cooked, with the octopus done well!

We had an amazing dinner here. We got the tagliatelle al ragú and ravioli al paiolo. Both dishes were fantastic. The limoncello after the meal and the tiramisu were also excellent. Wait staff was very friendly and welcoming.

We were looking for a place near the train station and stumbled upon this restaurant. Most of the people inside were locals. The service was great. I had the rigatoni with meat ragu, cream, and mushrooms, which was very tasty. The portion was big especially for the price. We saw a table that got the large portion of beef with fries and the pasta with lobster. Both were huge and can probably be shared by more than 2 people. Would visit again if in the area!

Looking for an authentic Italian experience? This is it. Nearly every table in here are filled with locals. The Vongole was divine, albeit a small portion. The Carbonara was not a cheesy and creamy but still tasty. Tiramisu was delicious and a good balance of cake, cream and coffee. After the lunch, a cup of espresso and brown sugar really hit the spot. Would definitely go back again for more! 10/10

If you're looking for a traditional Italian trattoria near this area, this is definitely a very good place to go! Food is amazing (ravioli to die for), and the tiramisu was heavenly! When you're finished ask for a shot of limoncelo, it was one of the best I've tried! Loved the staff, super friendly and joyful! The atmosphere is traditional, although if you're looking for one of those really antique ones with almost a castle like feeling, this is a bit less impressive on that front. But the food and the staff more than compensates for that!

Wow, we really enjoyed this family restaurant. The service was very nice, familiar, like we were house guests. The food was indeed delightful- especially the ravioli con ragu. Of course, the steak and potatoes were the same as the ravioli - very tasty. Not to say that the portion was enough for 3 persons. The desserts were home made and tasty. We would come again here sometime, for sure 😀

This is my third time in Milan and this is one of the best selections! Cozy atmosphere, fast service, all employees are very polite and hospitable. The table reservation was confirmed in just 5 minutes. All dishes were very tasty. We ordered ravioli, Cotoletta alla milanese, grilled vegetables, caprese salad, parma ham, tiramisu della casa Starters was ready in 5-7 minutes. Prices for a bottle of wine are only 6 euros higher than in the shop. Dinner for three people - 125 euros. I will definitely come back to this place. And I advise everyone to try Ravioli al Paiolo - very tender dough and meat! And homemade tiramisu - its price is only 5 euros !! For such a good atmosphere , service and delicious Food - prices a pretty affordable!

Ho visitato questo ristorante presente da lunga data, dove si può mangiare bene senza dover chiedere un mutuo per il conto. Il locale ha aspetto da tipica trattoria, arredamento un po' datato e spartano cmq piacevole, pulito ed ordinato, il bagno abbastanza accessibile. Anche esso in ottime condizioni di pulizia. Il personale è molto alla mano, veloce nellaccogliere il cliente e servire in tavola. Ho assaggiato i ravioli (specialità della casa) e la classica cotoletta. Ho trovato tutto buono con porzioni abbondanti. Il prezzo delle portate lo rende accessibile e quindi una ottima scelta per un pranzo a Milano

Cibo ottimo ad un prezzo conveniente. L’arredamento del locale così come il servizio sono molto semplici (forse un po’ troppo). Gli ingredienti però sembrano naturali e di ottima qualità. Consigliata la tagliata di Gianni.

Bel posto, servizio impeccabile. Andato per due pranzi causa trasferta di lavoro a Milano. Primo giorno purtroppo la carbonara era asciutta e la millefoglie della Bindi probabilmente scongelata al microonde, quindi non friabile. Ma siccome credevo di aver semplicemente avuto sfortuna, ho comunque provato un altro giorno. Ravioli spettacolari e tagliata buonissima, pane carasau buonissimo e tiramisù spettacolare. Ottimo locale nonostante sfortuna iniziale.

Sono giunto a questa trattoria in compagnia di un amico su suggerimento di un vicino locale che non aveva posto. Cibo buono. Personale gentile. Sono attenti ma non invadenti. Abbiamo preso due primi, vino acqua e due dolci. Il prezzo non è dei più economici, ma ragionevole. Accettano pagamenti in contanti o carte. Locale pulito e scarno. L'ambiente è davvero molto minimal. Comunque non rumoroso. Si chiacchiera facilmente.

The food was good and the staff was even better. Pictured are the large chop for 2 with fries and the lobster and pasta for 2. They were shared by my grandchildren in there 20's whi love the dishes. I had a salad and filet, which I was too busy eating to take a picture. The staff was super friendly and we're so busy with a large party next to us, but they didn't miss a thing. They checked on us regularly and even accommodated our request to place a takeaway order for a family member at home. Really enjoyed my experience here.

Abbiamo pranzato con costata e patate. Non sono stata particolarmente colpita né dalla quantità della carne che dalla qualità. Mi aspettavo un taglio più succulento.

Estremamente costoso per la quantità di cibo delle portate. E allora vi chiederete, "la qualità invece sarà eccelsa?", la risposta è "qualità nella media, niente di eccezionale, che possa motivare il costo eccessivo". Abbiamo preso un primo e secondo e usciti dal ristorante avevamo ancora fame. Tutte le portate erano in formato mignon. Il dolce poi non vi dico nemmeno, letteralmente due cucchiaiate. Eppure il prezzo non era così "leggero", come i piatti, ovviamente non torneremo. La cosa più fastidiosa forse, che uno di noi ha un intolleranza al lattosio, e alla richiesta di qualche alternativa, ci hanno guardato come alieni.
