Been a long time coming but march 2024, was served the best gelato I had in Italy at this place! Presentation and flavour were incredible, very chill place and the magician behind the counter serving up the gelato was super nice, dancing the whole time, would love to come back!

This ice cream is simply amazing! The flavors are so rich and vibrant, each scoop is a true delight. The creamy texture melts in your mouth, and you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients from the very first bite. I was especially impressed by the vanilla flavor — it’s so natural, you’ll want to keep eating it forever. I also have to mention the variety of flavors, there’s something for everyone. If you’re looking for a place to truly enjoy great ice cream, this is the spot! I’ll definitely be coming back.

Van Bol was such a great spot to enjoy gelato, and we really loved the place, especially for take-away. The gelato was awesome, and the pineapple flavor was absolutely delightful! ♥️ Definitely a must-try!

Stopped here for a coffee, to take away. Friendly staff, and they spoke English. Girl on the cashier desk was lovely to interact with, and the coffee was tasty. Quite busy with many people eating. Large variety of sweet and savoury things

Gelato and history, if you want to combine those, this is the place, despite being renovated and looking very contemporary, the place still has the aura of the end of 19th century, when this place was found. As for Italian gelato needles to say, it's above and beyond! Highly recommended!

The breakfast was excellent, and the tiramisu pleasantly surprised us. The service was friendly, and the interior was very appealing. I highly recommend taking advantage of The Fork discount.

Perfect for a morning breakfast. We tried the fresh croissants, latte macchiato and cappuccino soia. Overall, highly satisfied by the quality of food and staff. Highly recommend.

E si proprio il vassoio stile fast food non mi piace. Per il resto tutto è ottimo, ma siamo nella grande Milano dove tutto appare esageratamente new Classic modern. Musica troppo alta. Bagno pulito. Posto comodo con accessibilità disabili molto buona. Prezzi in linea col mercato d’area. Ottima la varietà della carta dei vini. Personale al banco sorridente, cortese e perfettamente in ordini. Bravi ragazzi!

A 2 passi dal Castello c'è questo locale molto carino, dotato di un grazioso estivo, e di bagni puliti ed ordinati. Ho avuto modo di gustare una loro focaccia, scaldata al punto giusto e farcita con materie prime gustose. Non particolarmente gustosa la brioches al pistacchio e poco incline alla gentilezza la ragazza alla cassa.

Aggiornamento: 😎 Non so cosa sia successo, ma quest'anno abbiamo pagato 4 euro! al coperto ( per due persone) ordinando un chinotto, una torta e un cappuccino al bar. L'anno scorso non abbiamo pagato nulla per lo stesso ordine al bar. Vorrei che il proprietario ci rispondesse. Siamo delusi... Quando fa un po' caldo a Milano ad ottobre, hai sempre voglia di mangiare un buon gelato😋 Bar carino con personale attento, situato in una ottima posizione con deliziosi gelati e biscotti.

Il caffè non è buono ma la pasticceria è ottima e ad un costo onesto: le torte a 4.50. Le brioche sono molto buone: hanno una pasta corposa come il pane e ogni tipo di farcitura

Van Bol & Feste .. un bel locale anche se i posti a sedere interni sono molto pochi per la potenzialità del locale stesso .. cibo per me buono .. caffè macchiato e cappuccio molto ben preparati .. mini brioche 🥐 per una seconda colazione (avevamo già fatto una prima colazione) molto buone soffici e ben farcite (non le solite brioche 🥐 sfogliate) .. peccato per il personale che malgrado sia capace non lo vedo molto disponibile verso il cliente .. forse distratto o stanco .. consigliato per il cibo ..

Ottimo per una sosta durante una visita a Milano, sia per il brunch o per una classica colazione italiana o per un pranzo più sostanzioso qui si può trovare certamente qualcosa di buono. Ottima la pasticceria di scuola napoletana. Buono anche il caffè e i marocchini o moccaccini, anche se 3 euro lo trovo un po' esagerato come prezzo. Personale gentile, anche se volendoci accomodare in 6 nella saletta ci viene prima proposto di dividerci in 2 tavoli diversi per poi accontantandoci spostando uno dei due tavoli.

Solo traveler. Had decent experience eating here for lunch. I ordered salmon poke bowl. It was good, but I wished there would be more sauce as from time to time I had to eat rice dry on it's own as not a lot of juices from other ingredients. Service was good, prices - as they are in touristy places. The view to the city was obstructed by the glass separation wall, so that should be improved, but overall good. Would eat there again. Oh, the toilets were weird - the lock was broken so had to use it super quickly before anyone would try the door. But plenty of WC paper and soap. Cleanliness could be improved, tho.

Locale carino nei pressi del Castello Sforzesco. Ci siamo fermati per un caffè e abbiamo preso dei dolci, buono ma nulla di eccezionale. Personale giovane e, anche se gentile, inesperto. Abbiamo dovuto chiedere lo zucchero, i tovaglioli, le posate e la card per poter pagare in cassa. Uno è anche disposto a pagare qualcosa in più, il servizio e la qualità devono essere all'altezza altrimenti non è giustificato.

Ambiente molto bello e curato. Mediamente caro ( ma come tutta Milano ormai...). Caffè € 1,50

Nice items. The brioche are incredible. Unfortunately this server Frances was awful; please understand that as turist we have high expectations, and if we don’t understand something it will be nice to be explain. As simple as I got confused with the coffee I ordered, thinking it was my friend’s not mine, she literally took it from the counter and firmly said “ No!” And just put it in front of me, same with my friend she throws it to him. Awful service, is a shame, the pastries are quite nice, bit the coffee is whatever, and her service, well…. I said what I said.

Meh. Stopped in for a coffee and a couple of pastries. Coffee lacked flavour. The pastries were good but a bit stale. Was very busy and noisy. I wouldn’t return.

Pareri discordanti li trovo nelle recensioni che mi precedono e anche al mio tavolo. La location è sicuramente bella, il bancone del salato invitante. Ma non c’era posto e ci siamo seduti fuori. Nonostante la fredda giornata il riscaldamento a infrarossi funzionava bene. Purtroppo i tempi d’attesa sono lunghissimi. 45 min. La mia ragazza prende un club sandwich che definisce ottimo, io un hamburger che nonostantela preparazione del panino fosse accurata, insalata pomodori cheddar, la polpetta in se faceva caxxre. Sembrava di cartone. Neanche nei peggiori fast food. Ora, mi chiedo: fai pagare 16.50 un panino e va bene ma almeno ci vuoi mettere dentro non dico un hamburger di chianina ma almeno una carne decente? Non ci siamo. Un calice di rosso una coca 2 caffe 56€. NO COMMENT

I dolci che abbiamo preso per merenda erano anche buoni, peccato è il personale che si dimostra poco attento e cordiale. Quando siamo entrati abbiamo aspettato prima di capire se potessimo sederci. Mi aspettavo che, vista la zona, avremmo potuto sederci e avere servizio al tavolo. Invece, ci siamo seduti e poi mi hanno chiamata per prendere le cose al bancone, senza neanche un vassoio. Se vogliamo anche aggiungere la tazza rotta, non so che dire. Non un'ottima esperienza devo dire!

Apprezzo il vostro locale di Foro Bonaparte Milano, la qualità dei prodotti e la professionalità dello staff, ma stamattina ho avuto l’amara sorpresa di pagare un caffè macchiato al banco €1,50. Ho chiesto se fosse aumentato- e fin qui niente di male- ma la cassiera mi ha risposto che sabato e domenica si paga un sovrapprezzo rispetto ai consueti €1,30. Non so quanto sia LEGALE tale prassi, tanto più che non è segnalato nel listino prezzi. Per la verità, il listino prezzi bar NON è nemmeno esposto. E questo di sicuro NON è a norma di legge. Rimediate!

Not suggested if you want a comfort place where to rest! Posto molto turistico, si vede che sono abituati a trattare per lo piú gli stranieri con distacco e poche accortezza, tanto non li vedranno piú. Per andare in bagno se sei in veranda, dove hai la vista sulla piazza, ti costringono ad uscire al freddo dal locale e rientrare e quando chiedi di aprirti la porta interna ti guardano con odio perchè devono fare il giro per aprirti. Poca qualitá prezzo, giocano sul coperto, il caffè e l'acqua alzandoti il conto inaspettatamente. Peccato perchè tra i tanti poteva essere un posto accogliente in cui sarei tornata volentieri durante le mie giornate a Milano centro!

Panini molto buoni, cheesecake invece troppo grassa e pesante. Personale per nulla cordiale (una ragazza che scaldava le pizze soprattutto). Bagno : quello delle donne chiuso, l’altro orribile.

Pessimo locale con prezzi alti e personale poco professionale e poco cordiale. Eravamo in 9 e ci hanno fatto accomodare nei tavoli esterni v. foto. Abbiamo bevuto caffè marocchino, cappuccini e preso delle mini brioche. I prezzi veramente esagerati: 4 € per un caffè marocchino e 4 € per ogni mini brioche. Le due cameriere che ci hanno servito poco cordiali e poco sorridenti. Al momento di servire i due cappuccini al tavolo la cameriera ha fatto strabordare il contenuto delle tazze sui piattini e sulle tazze. Non si è scusata, a mio parere i cappuccini andavano rifatti. È stato portato un caffè marocchino in piu ed hanno cercato di lasciarlo sul tavolo. Le brioches non erano "sfogliate" ma avevano.un impasto molto compatto. Per aver pagato tutto molto caro e per aver pagato 2 € di coperto a testa mi aspettavo una qualità ed un servizio migliore. Locale che non consiglio affatto ed io di certo non ci ritornerò: a mai più rivederci !

The cashier (the one with Asian look) is always rude, she rarely replies to my “hello.” On top of that, the coffee price changes every day: yesterday I paid €1.30, today she asked for €1.50. Very disappointing experience. (IT) Non tornerò più qui. La cassiera (quella con i tratti asiatici) è sempre scortese – non risponde mai al mio saluto. Inoltre, il prezzo del caffè cambia ogni giorno: ieri ho pagato 1,30 €, oggi mi ha chiesto 1,50 €. Esperienza molto deludente.

Pessimo servizio ,ho chiesto di sedermi al tavolo davanti al bancone praticamente e mi hanno chiesto prima di pagare prima di avere la mia brioche salata..mai visto che ti facciano pagare prima di consumare ,per altro in un locale in pieno centro a Milano. Il cameriere non si è neanche scomodato per portarmi il piatto al mio tavolo che ripeto era di fronte al bancone ma ha fatto alzare me,così come per il caffè mi sono dovuta alzare pagare e aspettare li che facessero il caffè. Non ci tornerò più, sconsiglio vivamente e ho letto anche le altre recensioni che non sono positive . Per essere un locale in centro ne avete di strada da fare ...certo che se Pagano due lire il personale questo è il risultato..

A shame. Beginning of the afternoon, we order 2 coffees and some cake. The waitress, B., throw our coffees on the table with disdain. Not a glance, a “hello” or nothing, just a spilled coffee on the plate. B. doesn’t care and just leave, not even coming back with sugar or some towels for the coffee she spilled. Fortunately, a waiter comes with the cake (served with dust and an insect) and takes it back to make a new one when we comment that we’d like something for my pool of coffee. Then, the toilets were filthy and don’t even close properly. To resume, not expensive, a disastrous service and a questionable hygiene.
