Incredible experience with an elevated level of Vietnamese cuisine. My first impression of this place has left a special place in my heart. From the decor to the service, including the robot moving across the floor. All items are well executed, and the presentation is very inviting. For the price, the portions are great, and easy to share among a group. Definitely coming back to this place
Pho Ha Noi in Milpitas really surprised me in the best way. The service was warm and quick from the moment I walked in — the kind of place where they actually pay attention and make you feel taken care of without hovering. The spot is large and has a welcoming an open environment. The pho itself was exactly what I want on a cold day: rich broth, clean flavors, and generous portions of meat that didn’t feel skimpy or overcooked. You can tell they take pride in the broth because it has that depth you only get when someone’s doing it right. The fresh noodles were perfect, and the herbs were fresh. Definitely an easy 5 stars from me.
Best Pho ever!! We enjoyed an incredible vegetarian pho with our family. The service was impeccable. Our server Su was attentive and responsive when we had questions. The pho was fresh and delightful. The noodles were freshly made and the broth was the best flavor. We will definitely come back and enjoy a Pho here again. Thank you!
I’m a huge fan of Vietnamese food, so when @phohanoibayarea opened in Milpitas, I knew I had to check it out! First up was the Cubed Steak with Tomato Rice — the meat was tender, and the rice packed so much flavor. Solid 4.5/5. Next, I tried the Beef Pho Combo, which came with generous portions of beef. The broth was rich, savory, and absolutely delicious. Pro tip: always go for the fresh noodles — they make all the difference. Lastly, I had their Summer Special: Grilled Pork and Egg Roll with Vermicelli. The egg rolls were perfectly crispy, and the grilled pork was beautifully marinated. A fantastic meal all around! 📍 Pho Hanoi Milpitas - 1228 S Abel St, Milpitas, CA 95035
I ordered the beef combo pho with fresh noodles and really enjoyed it. The broth was rich and flavorful, the fresh noodles were a great touch, and all the ingredients tasted high-quality and fresh. The space was beautifully decorated and very clean, and the service was excellent as well
Very clean and beautiful atmosphere. Food is delicious and the portions are pretty large. The service was great too! Went on a Monday noon, no lines but almost all the tables were taken. Sauces that came along with the rolls were delicious
Pho Ha Noi is a decent place for people who love northern vietnamese cuisine. I’m from Hanoi and I approve the place. I don’t think it’s realistic to ask for 100% authentic and very good Hanoi Pho and I think this place meets like 80%, but I still give them a 5 star because 80% authentic is already very good. Why I think they only meet 80% is because I don’t serve garlic vinegar and still serve the dish with beans sprout and other herbs - that’s how the southern people eat Pho. I also had Pho Ga (Chicken Pho) here and to my surprise, it also serves decent chicken pho which I think is quite difficult to cook good like a true Hanoian. Anyway, still very impressive and enjoy this restaurant, especially it’s like 3 mins away from my home. I have had some quick run to this restaurant at lunch for a pickup. Good one!
The pho here tastes great here and lots of variety to choose from. The waitress took our order and brought out the food promptly. Water is nearby so we went to refill out cups ourselves. Not sure if that’s normal here since we were just passing through and decided to eat at a local shop. The decorations are great and made the place look nice.
I love this place, its spacious compared to their other branches, it has a friendly vibe, good for family lunch or dinner. Best of all is the food, they have large portions and they are tasty and super delicious. The meat are tender and tasty, phos are served hot. The vietnamese Iced Coffee is a little milky but still good. It has ample parking space so no need to worry about that and overall its a nice place to check out
Good fast service, nice interior and delicious cuisine. I can confidently say that Pho Ha Hoi offers the most exquisite pho I have ever tasted. The broth is perfectly balanced - rich, aromatic, incredibly tasty, but not greasy. The noodles are the right consistency, not too soft, but perfectly absorb the delicious broth. Regardless of whether you love pho or are trying it for the first time, this place is worth visiting for a real and unforgettable pho experience!

Went here with my parents. They were fast even though they were a little busy. Front was quick about getting people in to get seated. Food was great. Service was awesome they ordered our food and it didn't seem to long before our food came out. Large portions as well. Which I loved. Also the servers were walking around with a pitcher of water to make sure people needed refills. That when they were not stopped by another customer ordering food. If they were busy someone else would come to help a few minutes after. Really enjoy this place. I'll get Pho next time because that portion of Pho was great.
Delicious phò. I like how the rare flank is sorta minced, more chewable than a lot of other places. I want to try more menu items and dine in. Very lively decor. I have a toddler that ruins everything. The anise in the pho both is there but not overpowering like some places. If you want that, then try Pho Dao. Very licorice like anise flavor and they often run out of thick noodle. Pho Ha Noi is a step above for sure.
Pho Ha Noi in Milpitas has quickly become one of my favorite spots for pho. Unlike the Cupertino location, where quality and service have declined over time, this one continues to impress. The portions are generous, and everything tastes exceptional - from the rich, flavorful broth to the tender beef rib and perfectly cooked noodles. Consistency is what keeps us coming back for more. Service is quick, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and family-friendly. Overall, it’s a fantastic restaurant that delivers excellent value for what you get. Highly recommend!
Fantastic place! It is one of if not the best Phỡ place in San Jose. The broth is flavorful and plenty of meat for the price. You should order the fresh noodles since it will be the best Phỡ noodles you've ever tasted. They used high quality American beef so you can really taste the quality and freshness. Atmosphere feels welcoming enough and spacious. However, if they added some dividers it would feel much more cozy and private. Servers and hostess were extremely helpful and nice. I've never wanted to tip so badly.
All of my family members finished all the food, and check on other people’s plates. This doesn’t happen often. The waiters and waitresses were very attentive. Enjoy it very much. A solid 5 star experience! Sorry no photo to show because all the food is gone.

Came here to give Pho Hanoi another shot after our first try at their Cupertino branch, which was really bad (the pho was mediocre and they even charged $1 for water —though to be fair, it was during the pandemic so maybe they’ve changed?). This branch is SO much better!! The pho was really good and consistent, and the service was great both times we came. Danny helped us both visits and he was awesome! He even brought extra bean sprouts since there were four of us and they only brought two plates at first. Definitely coming back again — especially with their current 9th anniversary promo!

It’s a rather lovely restaurant, and we enjoyed our lunch here. The three-color dessert is a must-try! It tastes so good with the mixture of red bean, mung bean, jelly, and coconut milk.
I typically visit Pho Kim Long when I come to Milpitas but decided to give it a try after seeing some of the post, especially on the mega ribs ☺️ somewhat different menu but I really enjoyed my order! Service was courteous and great! Will come back again!
Pho Ha Noi offer authentic Vietnamese cuisine with some unique twists and quality service. The Food: I can't go to a restaurant called Pho Ha Noi and not get the pho (beef noodle soup), so I ordered the Pho Bo Dac Biet -- which directly translates to Special Beef Noodle Soup. But a more accurate description would be "combination pho," because it comes with rare flap meat, well done brisket, flank, tendon, meatball, and short-rib meat. That's a lot of beef! And it was all quite good. The broth is flavorful with a fatty but smooth texture while the fresh fat noodles tied everything together nicely. It's not the best pho I've ever had but it was satisfying. The big surprise was my side order of crispy sticky rice. Being Vietnamese and having eaten at my fair share of Vietnamese restaurants, I have never seen a place sell sticky rice that's been fried. I had to try it, and was so happy I did. The outside was perfectly crispy -- not too hard, not burnt -- while the inside was still moist and sticky. Plus, the Vietnamese iced coffee was nice and strong, just the way I like it. The Setting: Located inside a small strip mall, Pho Ha Noi has a solid number of shared parking stalls. The restaurant itself is quite large with plenty of tables in various configurations. It was clean and well organized. The Service: It's not uncommon to have bad or non-existent customer service at Vietnamese restaurants. That's the old-school norm. Fortunately, Pho Ha Noi has a modern understanding of service. All the servers were polite, attentive, and helpful. The Conclusion: Pho Ha Noi delivers tasty beef noodle soup and other authentic Vietnamese dishes with a modern twist. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit -- "pho real."
September 21 2025 by for dinner order a pork chop rice for $13.99 , what a steal! Look at the picture. Upgrade to 5 stars today. I have had Pho Ha Noi in San Jose and Cupertino. Today, I tried one in Milpitas. I have a rice plate with pork chop and a fried egg. It is very decent dish. Much better than Thiên Huong. I will be back when I am craving for. Vietnamese food
Our family visited this restaurant for a late Saturday lunch, and we were pleased that there was no long wait. We ordered the large size pho, and the fresh noodles were fantastic—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We also tried the obey latte and the salted cream latte. The Vietnamese coffee comes with three shots of espresso, so be prepared for a strong coffee kick! We couldn’t resist ordering the sampler of crab roll, and it did not disappoint. The rolls were crispy, and the dipping sauce with fish sauce complemented them perfectly. Overall, a great spot for authentic Vietnamese cuisine. We’ll definitely be back!

The taste was moderate, very big portion. Can try if you have the ick for pho

I normally don't write "Negative" review... but hopefully this review can be seen as a "constructive" review... I am a regular customer of Pho Hanoi at Story road location and recently at the Milpitas location (close to my work). The grilled porkchop rice plate was my favorite lunch dish until yesterday.... The porkchops on my plate were very thin and dry and greasy as if they just came out from the deep fry!!! I brought that to the attention of the server there, he was very nice and attentively offered to get me a replacement... 10 minutes later, another "deep fried" porkchop rice plate came out and this time I just didn't bother to say anything to the servers since this is during lunch hours and they seemed to be very busy with the lunch crowd. Besides the dish I ordered, my co-workers ordered other dishes and they all were very happy with the food and services. I will come back to Pho Hanoi (Milpitas) for lunch again..... but will stay away from the grilled porkchop rice plate as a result!
Make sure you check your food. They will short you on it and won't even tell you that you're missing stuff. Also the chicken pho literally just tastes like hot water. It was missing everything except for chicken and the noodles
