Booked the same day, just a couple of hours before, for a Saturday bottomless brunch and everything was spot on. Our table was ready when we arrived and we were seated straight away. It was a slightly slow start with the drinks, but once things got going our lovely waitress Olivia made sure we were never left waiting. She was prompt, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The food was good too. Overall, we had a really good time and I’d definitely recommend it!

Morgan deserves employee of the month, year, and possibly a small statue near the entrance. Top-tier service, great energy, and somehow made us feel like her favourite table (even though we definitely weren’t the easiest). Absolute legend. Ethan was absolute menace to society

Lovely Monday brunch today. Great food (chicken & bacon sandwhich with the Avo & hummus was delicious!) & amazing cocktails made by Róisin & Jamie who made me and my date feel very welcomed. Much needed chilled atmosphere, brilliant music & great service. Will be back again!

Went there as I had a birthday voucher for a free Prosecco bottle. The service was excellent, so was the decor and the food. The Prosecco was also nice and they served to us with a sparkler as a birthday surprise, which I thought was a really nice touch. Thank you, and we will be back to try more of your delicious tapas style food! Especially liked the chicken bao buns, yum!

We attended the cocktail class for a friend's hen do. It was brilliant, our class was hosted by Roisin and she was amazing. She made accommodations for those who were not drinking alcohol with no hesitation and further adjustments for a friend who didn't like passionfruit. She was fun, attentive, and hosted a great session 🩷 She was well organised and personable. We had a great time during her lesson and stayed for a few hours once finished. The food was good, and each staff member spoken to was polite and friendly. Was a very enjoyable evening and would happily do the cocktail class again! Thank you 😊

I was a bit wary about going here during a pandemic, however with social distancing rules in place I felt really safe taking my nieces here for lunch. It was very empty when we arrived and the staff were so friendly and nice. They really made me feel welcome and were understanding that I was with 2 five year olds but they behaved spectacularly. My nieces had two kids meals; fish and chips and burger and chips. For £5 each (£2.50 at the time because of Eat Out to Help Out), which included a drink and a dessert, I was shocked at just how big the portions were. My nieces really enjoyed their meals and made a really good effort to eat most of it, which they actually don’t do often in restaurants. You can also choose between veg, beans, salad or rice (i think) on the side for kids meals and it’s nice having so many options for the little ones to choose from. I also should note that the chicken burger was like a proper piece of grilled chicken and not breadcrumbed so is definitely healthier. I’m not sure if they have any colouring-in pages here, but that would’ve been a nice addition! If they did, we weren’t offered any. I remember they had them in the old S&L. I had halloumi & chips which, as a vegetarian, is a bit boring when every restaurant you go to thinks you either want a weird veggie burger or halloumi. I’d love to see more veggie and vegan options, however the halloumi was really nice! The portion was basically the same size as the kids menu though but I’ve had it before and it’s been bigger.

Bottomless brunch was top tier. Best one I've ever been too. Drinks were constantly flowing and food was top tier too! Izzy our waitress was the best!

Visited slug and lettuce yesterday evening. The atmosphere was very good and busy as always but it was EXTREMELY hot! Especially upstairs & in the girls toilet) However a member of staff called Ethan was very helpful. He was very accommodating and moved a fan near the table me & my friends were sat at just to cool us down! Which we really appreciated. We didn’t even ask, he could just see we was overheating and decided to help:) He is a great member of your team. He is also very polite and friendly. A nice smiley face around the place makes it a much nicer experience:)

Morgan was super attentive at our bottomless brunch. Usually it's difficult to get service at a bottomless brunch but she was always checking in and was friendly and helpful with allergen issues!

We were with work colleagues for a conference in Milton Keynes, and we stopped at Slug & Lettuce. Everything was fabulous — special shout-out for how clean and fresh the toilets were! Despite the venue being busy, the location was amazing, and the food was excellent.

We came for afternoon tea around midday Wednesday. Service from Sarah was super warm and welcoming, received everything quickly and made sure there were no issues. The food itself was amazing, huge thanks to Jacob who prepared it for us. Definitely will be back and it’s such a great price

My wife and I visited the Slug & Lettuce in Milton Keynes at around 5pm on a very quiet Tuesday. We were practically the only customers there, which was a pleasant surprise. The venue had recently reopened after some renovations, and the new decor was lovely. The space was well-lit with soft, ambient lighting, and the new interior featured a lot of greenery and flowers, which seems to be the trend at the moment. The wooden centrepiece on the ceiling was a particularly nice touch, with leaves and warm white lights wrapped around it. ​The customer service was excellent. The two staff members on duty were both very polite and efficient throughout our visit. Their friendliness and professionalism really made us feel welcome. ​We found the food to be great value for money. Most main dishes were around £12, which was cheaper than I had expected. My wife ordered the bacon cheeseburger, which was well-presented and tasted fresh, not like a frozen patty. The portion of chips was a bit small, but for the price, it was a fair amount. ​I had the fajita chicken pasta, which was a bit of a mixed bag in terms of presentation. The bright red chillies and spring onion on top made the dish look vibrant and inviting. However, the pasta itself seemed to lack a traditional sauce, and I was worried it would be dry. The sauce, while light and creamy in flavour, was very thin and had pooled at the bottom of the bowl. Despite this, the taste was fantastic. The chicken was very well-seasoned and the chillies gave it a nice kick that was perfectly balanced by the creaminess of the sauce. Had the sauce been a traditional pasta thickness, the dish would have been absolutely amazing. ​Overall, it was a positive experience. The value was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the new decor is beautiful. While my pasta could have used a thicker sauce, the flavours were spot-on.

Overall nice embience, good food, friendly staff. But i think service can be little better. We also faced problem with the table service app of the S&L, wasn't able to place the order with it smoothly.

Friendly staff on arrival. Clean and inviting. Drinks and food were good. Had to leave by half 9 as the music, even right on the top floor got super loud and couldn't even talk to each other.

Great music and delish food and cocktails were very nice. Server named Jess was so lovely to me and my gal pals! (Just wish the toilets weren’t in such a state!)

It was very quiet for Valentine’s Day! Faye and Daniella are great hosts and a value to the chain!

This was our first visit and we found this bar to be very welcoming with great decoration and somewhere to have a few cocktails and enjoy the music. Two things let it down; - It is a very cold. - The food is average, at best. We ordered the bird cage of food and it was food you’d buy at a cheap food warehouse.

I have visited two Saturdays in a row, music, food and atmosphere is great BUT the womens toilets are awful. They smell so bad, 3 not in use and the rest have no locks and no lights. It is really off putting and now I know its not a one off I wont be returning until its sorted. Staff member said they have been like that for the 6 months she has worked there. I don't understand why they cant be fixed and cleaned regulary.

Drinks and happy hour is good but the food really is poor. Got a Hawaiian rice bowl which speaks for itself in the pictures then paid £8.45 for 2 small skewers with 3 pieces of chicken/chorizo on. We also didn’t get given any cutlery. Pretty disappointing wouldn’t waste your time eating here.

Unfortunately I ordered a breakfast plate and discovered the sausages weren’t cooked and were still frozen in the middle after taking a bite… so fingers crossed I don’t get ill. Replacement took a while- everyone else had finished by the time it arrived and the food still wasn’t warm- should have requested a refund in hindsight as I’m disappointed. Visited on a Sunday which was quiet so seemed a good time being only 1 of 3 tables but unfortunately they seemed understaffed and the staff available weren’t attentive. We had to wait for over 20 minutes to get plates to be able to eat our food, we had to clean away our plates and take them away to the bar after a course, and so forth. The women’s toilets also smelt really unpleasant- this has put me off visiting S&L again unfortunately.

Visited for brunch at a busy time. There was no one on the door so bought drinks at the bar. Once seated, we were reminded of our strict table time, although our guests waited close to an hour for their first drink order to be taken. Food portions were quite small - and chicken very dry. First drinks served in very small glasses and mild. Music extremely loud, making it difficult to hear for each other or the staff. The waitress appeared very stretched. If you enjoy a lively, nightclub-style brunch this may suit you, but with so many options in Milton Keynes, it wouldn’t be my first choice.

Came with my friends for a bottomless brunch for my birthday and was so disappointed in everything. for a £44 brunch a head, id expect a lot more. Food was microwaved rubbish to be honest, we had to send some dishes back twice for being stone cold. The atmosphere was really boring, music was meh just not very fun atmosphere to have a brunch in. The blonde lady who served us was lovely and kept drinks flowing majority of the time even though she had quite a few tables to sort. However some of the other staff members / placement of staff was strange, kept trying to take drinks off the table we werent done with, and if we asked them for help or to order other drinks they just said theyd get our designated server to take the order so we’d have to wait for her (and not her fault when she had lots of tables to deal with). Would definitely not recommend for the price so disappointed as this was a birthday brunch we were so excited for and heard good things about.

We have just left a bottomless brunch. We were sat at our table for almost 30 minutes before we received our first drink. The general drink service all night was very slow. Which is confusing when the food come fast. The service was poor. We had a server who seemed to be having a really bad day. (However we loved PK) the manager was really lovely and understanding when we addressed our concerns. But we would have preferred being told before we attended there was no heating as we have sat cold which is not enjoyable. Brunch should be fun. Service is key. 🔑

The service was slow, and the staff that gave us our drinks was rude maybe with the extra money you make off your 2 for 1 cocktail scam you should get your staff to take a customer service training course. And also if you're trying to encourage people to order off their phones/ App maybe sort out the Internet. The food was good though that's why I gave it 2 stars. Drinks was filled 90% with ice. If not filled with ice the drinks was half filled.

Had an hour for lunch so thought I would try this place. Ordered Bao Buns with chips…. Was shocked to see the state of the bao buns. They are supposed to be steamed not deep fried. Waitress didn’t come back to check on me despite the place being empty. Don’t think I will be going back!

Avoid the food. I had a voucher for a set menu. Did not have a menu to show us. Everything overfried/ on cusps of being burned. Chips seasoned with five spice and veg seasoning. Chicken burger very tough. Toilets really gross. Smashed glass on table suraces.. Prob better if ur drunk but we were sober! Lol

Had a promo for Easter for a free bottle of prosecco for table where it said quote easter in notes so I did on the booking and we saw other tables getting it but when we asked we was allowed it, which is unfair in itself and a bit rude for you to allow others to have it and not us. Got our food but no Cutlery waited 10 minutes for Cutlery. I ordered mac and cheese with burger it didn't come out and had to ask for it and then we was saying about food now being cold coz had to wait 20 minutes for the mac and cheese to come.but It didn't, staff are rude and not helpful and didn't seem to care that we had been waiting so long or that the food was cold, we booked for 715 and still at 815 have no new food They sent the same food back out just reheated coz I took pictures of the first lot of food and then again of the second lot and the fish and burger was the same

Where do i start? From the beginning being charged for a tip which i wasn't aware of at time of paying. I just used my card . Wasn't until I sat down that I saw it on receipt. When queried it was told I must of authorised it when paying or accidentally touched the pad with my knuckle which wasn't the case. Then the server brought out the wrong starters. Then came back with the chicken wings in a takeaway bag and was told this is how they were served . Presentation very poor. Other starters were Luke warm. Then our main meal came out together with starters after requested for them to be served after the starters. Had to ask for cutlery etc. Manager confirmed that the fish and chips would be fresh and not the same one which was brought out. Thst wasn't the case as chips were Luke warm but fish was extremely hot, too hot which made me think that it wasn't fresh but left in either a very hot hotplate or put in microwave as fish was crumbly and batter was very oily . Have been to a few s& l but this was the worst one been to. Even though Manager refunded back for our starter's which we didnt ask for, service and food wasn't up to scratch. I would suggest you only serve drinks and cocktails as this looked like it was your main selling point.

I had a baby shower here back in January. 2 members of staff in for multiple baby showers. So busy we had to order at the till and just pay for our own items which meant I never got my deposit back. Contacted them 3 times since and have heard nothing. Lost my full deposit even though all people showed up and had drinks and food. Do not book a baby shower here.

I visited Slug & Lettuce last week with a friend to celebrate my birthday, but unfortunately, the experience was ruined before it even began. We had a Groupon voucher we were excited to redeem. Upon arrival, we were told we couldn't use it because we hadn't pre-booked "a day or more in advance." What made this particularly frustrating was that the restaurant was completely empty—we were literally the only potential customers there. We asked to speak with the manager, hoping for a bit of common sense or flexibility given the circumstances, but he refused to help and insisted on the pre-booking rule. To make matters worse, the voucher itself states that you can either walk in or pre-book, so the staff's refusal felt both unnecessary and contradictory to the terms we purchased. It’s baffling that a business would turn away paying customers and a celebration over a booking technicality when the venue is at zero capacity. It completely soured our birthday mood. We won't be returning to this location; they clearly value rigid (and seemingly incorrect) processes over actual customer service

Borderline pathetic, easy one star, it should be noted they did comp a round of drinks but they couldnt be bothered to garnish the cocktails as per previous drinks. Starters turned up after mains, wrong mains turned up, mains delivered shockingly incomplete, dishes delivered 30mins apart, completely disinterested staff, the manager and staff are woefully out of their depth and lets not pretend that this is a high end restaurant, its a knock off wetherspoons and it cant even do that properly. It was a comedy parody of what a pub restaurant should be, except no-one was laughing. Food was so poor, nothing like as described or photographed on the menu. Steak was overcooked, but somehow also cold, suggesting it sat there for a long time before being delivered to table. Merry burgers delivered without stuffing or without pigs in blankets. Chicken delivered without chips, etc (seriously the plate was 25% full how on earth they thought it was ready to go to table is abysmal). Barely a working salt or pepper shaker in the entire establishment. Place only a third full maximum so no excuses. Decor is actually nice, seats are comfortable, do NOT be conned into a false sense of security, avoid with prejudice.

Ridiculous service, the waiter dropped our burger then went to the toilet to reassemble the burger to bring it right back. Worst dessert I tried in my life as well.

Roughly 30 of us on a Bottomless brunch and what chaos,fist Drink 25 minutes in,then 45 mins for a Prosecco totally unacceptable,not enough staff serving our 3 table, when food came out just grab what you can for £42.50 a lot of money and lucky to get 4 drinks in,

If I could give no stars this place would get them. It was dingy and reminiscent of an old pub with very sticky floors. Waiting for the staff was extremely long, often not coming back to us. So much of the menu was unavailable including cocktails. I found the food over cooked, pretty tasteless and extremely unattractive. A waitress dropped plates of uneaten food and did not attempt to clean it up, we had to tell a young guest not to go near it, just behind me, because there was sauce left on the floor, presenting a fall hazard, to the young one and myself, who was on crutches. It was not busy but the staff took so much time to do things like bring cutlery or to answer a question about whether they had plant based milk that in the end some of our group ate their dessert with there fingers and the reason we asked for plant milk resolved. I would certainly not recommend the restaurant to anyone, I would rather have a sandwich from a garage! We were celebrating my daughter's birthday but this put a dampener on our time
