Shhhh, this place is the best kept secret of Destin! You’d never know it was here, but once you know, you’re never forgetting it. This place does things RIGHT! Everything was excellent, but can I rave a minute about something? The drinks! I hate going to a restaurant, spending $15 on a cocktail to have it come out with no oomph. I don’t regularly imbibe, but at a nice restaurant I’d love to have something fun with my meal. And this place makes their drinks FUN-FUN (for $14 a go!). Some places we’ve gone to and said “we won’t ever get another drink there, that was super mediocre”. But Bijoux, you dangerous minx, you’re a fun time! Get a drink (or 2, but do not get 3 😵💫), enjoy your night and all the wonderful food (best ribeye we’ve had in Destin!), and go home happy, full, and a little tipsy in your Uber!
Amazing service by the bartender Harry and Bijoux has a great happy hour. Highly recommend the lamb entree and they have a fantastic wine list! Beautiful onyx bar and romantic ambiance. Business/resort casual attire but they do offer outside seating so dress appropriately in the summer if dining al fresco.
Excellent experience! Great food, great service. The food was delicious. I ordered the shrimp and grits, which is one of my staple options when trying new restaurants. It was very flavorful and the shrimp were quite large, and not very soupy like some versions. My friend ordered the chicken which was soo moist. We're both usually adverse to getting "just" chicken for fine dining, but it was well worth it. I also ordered the Ruby Slipper (? - grapefruit cocktail), which was so delicious. For dessert, crème brûlé and the hazelnut chocolate cake. Both excellent. (The chocolate cake was incredibly rich - definitely shareable.) Our waitress and supporting staff were super attentive. While the ambiance was nice, it wasn't quite up to par with the quality of food and service. If this were a stand-alone restaurant instead of being in a strip mall, it would be a lot more fitting. But still very nice. (Pardon the mess we made on the tablecloth, we dropped the butter knife 😬)
AMAZING. We got lucky picking Bijoux for our anniversary dinner - atmosphere, service, food, and drink were all exceptional and exactly the type of fine quality we were hoping to find! Just a quick drive from Destin too, worth the extra few minutes to get away from the super crowded areas. We could have ordered just several of the lobster spring roll appetizers for our meal. The entrees we're amazing as well, that appetizer was just maybe the best lobster dish we've ever had. Theresa was a fantastic server, right level of attentive and gave great recommendations (that chocolate cake... so friggen good)! Will definitely be coming back next time we're back on the emerald coast!
We sat on the patio so I cannot say much about the atmosphere. The food and service was excellent. The Lobster Spring Roll and Seared Scallops with Tomato Risotto were exceptional. The Grouper Almondine was a little boring and bland by my standards, served with green beans and rice. I recommend this restaurant.
Heard they had quite a premium spirit offering from a liquor store employee and I came and got a delicious pour of Glenlivet 21 for a great price before deciding to purchase a bottle. Unique ambiance, locals-oriented, outgoing staff and the food looked delicious even though I didn’t order anything!
We had a small birthday celebration here. We had a small private room that was perfect for our group. Our server was exceptional. They have a very nice wine list. The food is gourmet with the focus on seafood as you would expect in the Florida panhandle. I had the fish special which was a blackened redfish served over red beans, andouille sausage and rice, with tomato bacon sauce topped with spring greens. Everything was cooked to perfection. The flavors melded together. Others at our table had grouper almondine, gulf shrimp and grits and rack of lamb. All said their meals were perfect. Several of us finished the meal with Creme Brulee du Jour. The custard was cold and creamy and the sugar crust was crunchy. It came with a cookie and whipped cream. Yummy. Each of the birthday girls had a special plate. It was a nice touch. This restaurant is top notch. It's perfect for a special occasion.
Wow! We had Bijoux recommended to us for our Anniversary dinner and we are soooooo glad we tried it. Our server, Lisa, was excellent, the interior was nice, and the food was wonderful. We had the Crab Beignets and that first bite made us just sit back and smile. So good! Our mains were the Filet Mignon cooked medium rare+ and we added the tempura lobster tail on top for a nice surf and turf. That filet was stupid good, melt In your mouth with great seasoning. My wife had the first bite and looked at me with that, I’m in heaven expression. I had the Diver Scallops, best I have ever had! Great color and the sauce was amazing, so flavorful but not to the point of overpowering. Desert was Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake and we added a scoop of blackberry sorbet on the side (it works!) and I had the Tres Leches with Baileys cake. Everything was excellent and the next time you are in the area make reservations!
Absolutely everything was amazing. I couldnt pronounce some of the stuff I ordered 🤣 but it was beautiful and there was nothing bad. The blackened brie with the bread was wonderful. Salmon...steak...veggies...even the cabernet is the best I've had.... 👌🏼👍🏼👍🏼 pricey of course..but the food and atmosphere is well worth it.
Joined our good friends for a nice date night. They recommend this place. Had to call and reserve a table for our diner. Arrived a little early so we all sat at the bar and had a round of adult beverages. Drinks are mixed well and they don’t skimp on the alcohol. Was seated at our table after a short wait. Ordered a few appetizers; pork belly ends (only came with three on the plate), crab bite balls (again only came with 3), mushroom bisque, and baked brie. All the appetizers were very delicious, just not a lot of quantity for the price in my opinion. On to the main entrees. I had a cowboy ribeye cooked medium rare that came out perfect. The sides were delicious as well and went well with the steak. My wife went with the Shrimp and Grits for her meal and as you can see in the picture it was lacking grits compared to most all other restaurants serve a helping of grits to the shrimp portion. Most of her meal were just the shrimp, maybe a table spoon of grits and the rest was a gravy type consistency. The other couple at the table both had the cowboy ribeye steak and everything was perfect with their meals and sides. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable of all the selections on the menu that helped us choose our diner and wine selections. Overall a great dining experience for our first time. We know now what to order and not to order. If your hungry stay away from the appetizers since you get small small portions enough for a young child. Stay away from shrimp and grits if you like grits since you may have a bite or two before there gone. I would return to try and different meal. Will update my review once that happens.
I loved this place! We were lucky because we haven’t made a reservation but a table at the bar area got free at the same time we arrived. Our server was espetacular, very friendly guy. The food was amazing, the tuna carpaccio is a must have. It is delicious! I totally recommend Bijoux when visiting Destin area. Don’t be like us and make a reservation!
First time , from out of town . The martinis were good , I had the french pear and my husband had the watermelon . For an appetizer we had the crab beagett that was fantastic ! With the fried green tomatoes . Main course : Grouper ( that needed a side of tartar sauce ) very good , the shrimp and grits , scallops , and chicken . All were fantastic ! Service was great and so was our waiter that was also the bar tender . A little pricey , but a great meal ! Thanks for a great time .
Simply WOW! This restaurant is stupendous. Menu was short and concise, with a variety of options for every palate. Dishes are exquisite, delicate and bring flavors I have never experienced before. Every single plate we tried was special and so tasty. One of the best restaurants I have even been. Make sure to try the Cowboy Steak, the flavor is amazing. The duck confit was spectacular. The Lamb was sooo delicate in the flavor with mint-infused couscous. Our Russian waitress was the best, gave us amazing recommendations and top-notch service. If visiting the Destin/Sandestin area. Make sure to check this restaurant out. 100% recommended!
Our 2nd time here. The food is amazing. Staff is outstanding. Olga was our waitress. She provided the best service we've had in a long time. We started with the Crab Beignets. Lots of flavorful crab meat! Beet salad us very refreshing.I had the special Tripletail. It was flavorful and cooked to perfection. My husband and son had the Cowboy Ribeye and Filet Mignon. Both were cooked perfectly, and the compound butter took it to another level. Finished off with Peach cheesecake and the chocolate cake. Both were delicious. We were celebrating my bday. The cheesecake came out with HBD in chocolate. So sweet!
It was my anniversary and I decided on this place because of all the great things I heard. We had a reservation and we were able to move up our time which was great. We were greeted at the door by two lovely ladies. Our dinner was wonderful from start to finish. Our server was very attentive and personable. I had the rack of lamb and my guest had the snapper special. Both were delicious. Definitely a must go Later foodies
Went here for mother in laws 80th birthday at a recommendation from a local. The restaurant is elegant with soft music in the background. The server and staff were professional with helpful suggestions. I had the filet mignon which was perfect. We also had the lobster spring roll which was excellent. We would return in the future for another special occasion.
Absolutely loved this fine dining experience! You can only make kale and cauliflower taste that good but the chef nailed it! I’ve never had roasted cauliflower taste like heaven and so flavorful, same with kale. The steak was perfectly done! The portion size is just perfect. Great place for dates and spending a nice quiet evening with great food. The appetizers are delicious. Every stage of the meal was win. The setting and ambiance was just lovely and the servers are great. Elizabeth was assigned to my table and she was amazing. Definitely check this place out. Highly highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed
Excellent! Service and food was impeccable. I highly recommend and would definitely return. We started with drinks, my husband had a Moscow mule and I had the chocolate martini aka “Happy Ending”. We ordered the Corn & Crawfish soup as our appetizer. For dinner we ordered the filet mignon topped with lobster tail and the chef’s special fish (I cant remember the name) on a bed of fontina grits, topped with 2 shrimp with interlocking tails. My husband’s steak was cooked to perfection, and he said, “It was one of the top steaks he has ever eaten.” Kudos to the Chef!
Great spot to eat when you’re looking for good-tasting foods while visiting. The filet was perfectly cooked but also tasted great with the sauce that came with it. I started off with the wedge salad. Perfectly portioned. For my entree, I ordered the red snapper which was their Fish of the day/special. Everything was fresh and from the gulf. Sauce paired perfectly with the fish and shrimp.
We had a great dinner. Olga was our server, and she was very attentive and did not rush us. We started with the crab beignets, which were quite tasty. Then we had the shrimp and grits. This was mediocre, in my opinion. There was no real flavor to the dish, and the shrimp were not seasoned well. The dish did have mushrooms, which added some flavor, but I wouldn't order this again. Next, we split the Brussel sprouts Caesar salad. This was probably the best thing we had here. They were cooked perfectly, and the pairing was amazing. Entrées we had the scallop dish and the filet mignon. Both of these were good but nothing extraordinary. The Carolina rice with the scallops was prepared very well, and the potatoes and onions with steak were very good as well. Peach cheesecake to finish it off was delicious and not overwhelming. The first order of bread that came out was so hard and disappointing that we sent it back. The server Olga sent out new bread, and it was 10 times better and fresh. This was a $300 plus dinner, so be prepared, but it was worth it.
Me and my husband and a wonderful experience here celebrating our anniversary and babymoon! Our waitress Lisa had the BEST recommendations! I had the lamb and my husband had the duck. Needless to say, we devoured our plates, we truly had to restrain from licking the bones 😂 lastly, we had dessert, and just like dinner , it was DELICIOUS! 10/10! Compliments to the chef and the entire staff!
We went as a private party for my girls birthday and we’re treated supremely. The chef made sure we were taken care of properly and even made us a complimentary app. She knows how to cook! I got a wonderful steak with scallops and was satisfied. I love to eat and the portions were great. I’d recommend renting the private room for you next event. Worth every penny! Thank you so much for putting up with our large and loud group! -Review Daddy
We were in town for the holiday weekend and made reservations for our first night’s dinner. My husband had the special and was so pleased. I enjoyed the fried oyster salad as well as the bisque soup. We shared a piece of key lime cheesecake. We enjoyed our experience with our server, Lisa, so much that we decided that night that we would return again during our five night vacation. We returned our last night in town, without reservations, and sat at a bar table. My husband enjoyed the Filet skillet (so good) and I enjoyed the triple tail fish special. The bartender, Hunter, gave us excellent service. And I have to mention Javi. He was friendly and very attentive to our table, keeping our drinks refilled and our dishes cleared. We will be back next year!
We ate dinner here the other night, and were not disappointed. All of our seafood dishes were fresh and nicely presented. We started with the crab beignets and lobster spring roll, followed by the scallops and ahi tuna. Each dish was priced very well for the quality and presentation, especially given how expensive many restaurants in the area tend to be. The cocktails and wine were decent, but be warned- each cocktail on their martini menu is prepared shaken (including the Italian Manhattan). Not sure why, but be certain to request a stirred drink if that’s your preference and expectation.
Truly a culinary experience. Our date night dinner choice was perfection. Service was excellent throughout the night. I started with a strawberry lemon drop martini which was delicious. Not to tart not to sweet. For starters we chose the crab beignets and my partner ordered the blue cheese and onion tart. The beignets were perfection with the crisp outside and fluffy pillow like texture inside. Highy recommend! He enjoyed the tart, I’m not a blue cheese fan so I did not try. I also had their soup of the day which was a tomato bacon bisque. A bit on the salty side and through the bacon overpowered it a bit but over all was good. For my entree I chose the shrimp and grits and my significant other chose the skillet filet. His was the clear winner. The filet was divine. Wonderful outside crust as they cook in the skillet using duck fat. My shrimp and grits were good, I think it would’ve been better if the shrimp were blackened. The grits were really tasty. For dessert we ordered the bread pudding with goat cheese ice cream. My partner loved the bread pudding (his favorite) the ice cream was a bit weird to me. Tasted sour because of the goat milk. I opted for a espresso martini, which unfortunately I sent back. It came out looking like brown water and was just not good. Our server was kind enough to take it off of our bill. Overall, a lovely dining experience and would definitely come back again if in the area.
Top tier. One of the best restaurants I've ever been to and hands down the best filet you will ever have. I come every year on vacation, and it always hits the same high standards. The waitress' level of professionalism and skill was impressive. Great atmosphere, food, and service. Kudos 👏
We had a wonderful dinner here last night. Our server was super nice and professional (sorry, I forgot her name, the lady who had a classy slicked back updo). The watermelon mocktail she recommended was impressive. Food tasted great and the portions were also generous. The appetizer bread and duck confit were just out of this world. And don’t miss the desserts. We were stuffed after finishing so much food but still tried creme brûlée. You can never go wrong with French desserts. This is absolutely a highlight of our vacation in Destin. Try it you will thank me later.
This place is off the charts! The service, the ambience, the food everything was exceptional. It is worth every penny. Lamb chops were absolutely amazing cooked to perfection, the filet was unreal. Tuna amazing! Everything was absolutely perfect. Went here for our 20 year anniversary and I could not have asked for anything better. Hands-down, the best food in the area!
This is one of our favorite restaurants anywhere. At this point, we tried almost everything on the menu and everything is excellent. A few favorites are the blackened brie appetizer, their steaks prepared in duck fat (the béarnaise sauce is always perfect) and their chocolate hazelnut cake. The ambiance is romantic and service is always perfect.
This place was amazing! It was recommended by a local we met a few days ago, and then we saw this on IG as one of the top date places in Destin. I'm so glad we went. The drinks were amazing, and the bartenders were even more. The staff from the hostess, to the manager, to the chef! We ordered the lobster spring rolls, and it was such an amazing twist on this recipe. Nothing like expected, but my palate was pleased! You must try them! We also had the Duck Gumbo and the Crab "cakes" as the cheese tray for an appetizer. For our entrees, I was able to order any protein that I wanted off the menu as I am very particular, and they made it happen! The sauce they gave me was excellent to compliment my shrimp, fingerling potatoes and brocollini. My husband had the Skillet filet and he was super satisfied. We finally ended with the Creme Brulee and after dinner drinks. We would fortune visit this place again!
We ate here last night and it is hands down the best dining experience I have had here. From the moment We walked in, the hostess complimented me on my dress, then our table was ready and waiting. We were immediately served water and attended to, then our waitress/server was over the top with service, recommendations, and attentiveness. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was phenomenal! I cannot say enough good about this experience .
Romantic atmosphere and the best service (Connie is my favorite). This place has the absolute best appetizers, they are so fun and full of flavor with different texture combinations. We started off with the Baratta and it did not disappoint. My husband loves their cowboy cut steak cooked in rendered duck fat. I got the redfish special topped with lobster, and a side roasted red pepper risotto, and zucchini noodles, artichoke and I was very pleased with this recommendation. The bread service is great as well. I recommend the duck confit also. We didn’t get it this time, but did in the past and it is really delicious
Bijoux is the go-to restaurant for locals and visitors in Miramar Beach/Sandestin. Yes, the food is great, but that's not all. It's mainly the people (staff and customers) and the service that set it apart. Grab a seat at the bar, and there's no telling who you will meet sitting beside you. Might be a politician, local celebrity or just the coolest neighbor you've never met. Need a private dining room? They've got you covered. Go. Be social. Enjoy!
Everything about this place was amazing. The food was top notch, our server was super personable, and we were there for a big conference so the quality and speed with which they served everyone was super impressive. The filet mignon was so good and the creme brulee dessert was one of the best I have had even though that is not a go to dessert for me typically.
Best food Ive had in along time. I loved here for 15 years and never knew it existed... Me and wife went for our anniversary, Service was phenomenal, and food was absolutely amazing, I had The scallops with bread pudding and a corn salad, She had the rack of lamb, We also had the shrimp reviewed... Highly recommend this place
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bijoux in Miramar Beach (inside The Market Shops at Sandestin) is one of the strongest restaurants in the area, period. We sat at the bar and every plate that came out was on point. The scallops were perfectly seared with sweet corn and a bright sauce, the tuna appetizer was super fresh with great texture, and the fried oysters were crispy outside, tender inside, not greasy. The lobster dish was rich without being heavy and looked like it belonged in a magazine. What really pushed the night over the top was the pair of bartenders (Jacob & Brian). They weren’t just pouring drinks—they ran the bar like pros. Dialed-in cocktails, zero attitude, quick refills, and solid, honest recommendations on food and wine. They kept things moving, joked with guests, remembered names and orders, and still stayed sharp and efficient when it got busy. The vibe is upscale but relaxed, with that glowing bar and polished feel that makes it perfect for a date night or a nicer dinner on vacation. If you’re anywhere near Sandestin and want real food and real hospitality instead of tourist-trap nonsense, Bijoux is absolutely worth it. A true local spot for over 20+ years
We loved this fine dining experience so much that we ate there twice in the last week! Excellent food, wines, cocktails and service. Pleasant white tablecloth environment as well. We will be back.
Best restaurant I’ve been to in Florida! Service was so quick, servers were amazing, and the food was bomb. 10/10 recommend would eat there again.
Despite regularly coming to the area, last night was our first visit to Bijoux, but it won’t be our last. The food was incredible, the lobster roll appetizer is a must. Our server Michael was attentive and knowledgeable and gave us excellent recommendations.
Everything was exceptional! The filet, Brussel sprout ceaser and chocolate torte were so so good! Nice, engaging bartenders! This place did everything right for me!
What a great meal! When I visit a new restaurant with white table cloths I think okay this is going to be good. This place was great! From the drinks to dessert, everything was fantastic. Highly recommend the grouper almandine and apple bread pudding. If you are looking for fine dining in Destin, this has to be the place. Oh and the service was impeccable.
The food was exceptional. My wife and I had a wonderful anniversary dinner here. We each had a different kind of fish and loved it. The crab beignets and blackened brie appetizers were wonderful.
Elegant atmosphere with exceptional food and service! Our server Lisa was outstanding and the gentleman who kept our water glasses full was delightful. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful dining experience.
I love the bar area here! It’s a lively spot and the bar tenders are always fun and attentive. Great place for a date night. And the food is always on point.
Absolutely perfect in all aspects. The day prior, our reservation was confirmed, and upon arrival, service was spectacular across the entire restaurant. Our server Connie was friendly and helpful offering recommendations and making our dinner even better. The food was amazing. We didn’t leave a bite. Perfectly cooked and paired with an amazing selection of wine. Will absolutely come back! Perfect date night!
We had reservations here at 6pm for 4 adults and a toddler. High chairs were available. Atmosphere was pretty, candlelit. Service was very good. Our server knew the menu well, and we appreciated her opinion. We enjoyed the oyster salad and lobster spring rolls appetizers. The grouper and diver scallops were good. They allowed one of our diners to have scallops prepared as the ahi tuna dish, and it was very good.
We had dinner with friends that we haven’t seen for a couple years & it was the perfect place to catch up…a nice quiet atmosphere where we could talk. Our server Connie ( I think) was awesome/ very personable & attentive! The food was amazing- we will definitely return again!
Our waiter Brian was outstanding. Even though he was also tending the bar and clearly juggling a lot, he never let our table feel overlooked. He checked in regularly, made sure we had everything we needed, and gave us excellent recommendations that really enhanced our meal. Despite being busy, he balanced his time so well and always paid just the right amount of attention. His professionalism, energy, and genuine care for his guests really stood out and made our dining experience great. The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing—honestly, I’d say maybe the best in Destin. We had the halibut special, which was excellent, and the filet mignon steak, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The lobster rolls were incredible, and the crab beignets were absolutely delicious. Every dish impressed us, and paired with Brian’s service, the whole evening was top-notch.
This place is awesome and our server Melissa was amazing! I had the tuna and he had the chicken. Everything was tasty and prepared to perfection. Thank you, we enjoyed it!!!
Excellent experience from start to finish! The service was outstanding, and every detail—from the freshly baked bread to the dessert—was fantastic. We started with the crab Benedict, followed by the halibut special and tuna (really some of the best we’ve ever had!), all of which were delicious. To finish, the banana pudding with goat cheese ice cream was great!!
Had an amazing first date last night David was our server and bartender. He was amazing. The food was amazing. Everything was perfect. It was such a great night.
The lady who answered the phone was very rude when I tried to make a reservation. She didn't offer any other suggestions for times or dates, just that they were full at the time I wanted. However, the food was amazing and very beautiful presentation. Expect a little wait between courses.
We went there for New Year’s Eve. It was a pre fixe menu. $150 each not including drinks. We had the oysters and brie and the braised short ribs as appetizers. Both were very tasty. The drinks were very good too. We both had the crab soup. It was good, but just a little bland. My wife had the lobster and scallops. The lobster was good but it was small. More like a jumbo prawn. She enjoyed the dish though. I had the duck confit. It wasn’t the duck confit I am used to, but it was very tasty. We both had the chocolate torte. It was fine. Nothing spectacular. Our waitress was very nice.
The food was unique and really flavorful. The drinks were extremely strong. We had to sit at the bar because we didn’t have reservations. Very expensive to eat here. The atmosphere was nice. I would give it 8/10.
Went there for anniversary dinner. Very nice, white tablecloths, very quiet (THANK YOU), no loud music, and conversations didn't carry. The cocktails were excellent, as were the appetizers and the soup. Our server, Patricia, was absolutely wonderful. The creme brulee dessert was very good, with a lovely Happy Anniversary message written in chocolate on the plate. On the flip side, we were told they were known for their steaks, and I have to say I was disappointed in mine. The presentation and sides were excellent, but the steak itself was not cooked quite the way I wanted it, and it was also a bit tough, surprisingly. My wife had the grouper and she said it seemed a bit bland. Overall, a great experience, but it does lose a point for the entrees.
This is a nice restaurant with some really good dishes, good for couples or friends night out. The spicy Brie appt was great as was the pineapple cobbler with coconut ice cream. My shrimp and grits was just mediocre and the beet/ goat cheese salad had too much dressing. I did not have the lamb chops but the table next to us did and they looked fantastic, definitely a place I would go again.
De lo mejor de Miramar, Florida (USA).
This restaurant is pretty good. I like the fact that you can make reservations online so you don’t have to wait two hours (like every else). It’s not on the beach, but conveniently located next to the Sandestin Resort where we stay. While it’s part of a shopping mall, it has a very transformed and cozy interior. You might even say romantic with the dim lighting. The service is impeccable. If you’re trying to get through a meal fast, this is not the place to go because they purposefully give you time to enjoy yourselves. I absolutely love the different breads they give you as an appetizer (free of charge) and they’ll give you seconds - we didn’t even have to ask! They have the best appetizer ever! It was a lobster spring roll. It is fried lobster inside of a roll with noodles and three different sauces! Absolutely to die for! My main dish was not as good. I got the shrimp and grits. The plating was certainly impressive, but it was an odd take on the classic shrimp and grits. It almost tasted more like risotto instead of grits.
I came here while on vacation to Destin. It was supposed to be one of the best places to eat around here. I purchased a few drinks--they didn't taste very good. I got the steak and it was dry on the inside. The sear on the outside was more of a burned crust instead of a proper sear--wouldnt recommend. I also ordered the Ahi Tuna, that was decent but it looked weird (not the expected pink from Tuna but more of a brown). I would probably prefer outbacks tuna app(which isn't saying a lot). My wife got the rack of lamb, which came out good but the actual lamb chops were incredibly small. The waitress was very nice and did a good job. We ate outside and it a nice experience on that part. We also ordered the market vegetables, which were the best part of the meal. Overall, I wouldn't go back but it was worth trying.
Allow me to say that we LOVE fine dining. We have no issue with that at all. It hurts a little that we did not have a stellar experience. While the service was indeed excellent, I simply cannot say the same for the food. Perhaps we did not order signature dishes? For starters we ordered the blackened Brie & Burrata. Both were simply okay. Not terrible but not really any distinguished flavor. We both had the chefs special of white bean soup. Again… simply okay. Nothing spectacular. I had the 20 oz Ribeye & my wife had the Filet Mignon. I was shocked these did not have more flavor. Mine did not seemed aged or flavored at all…. And again this is not something we like to say… served with mine were salted potato wedges… very bland. A considerable disappointment for the highest priced item on the menu. The most flavorful item was the mashed potatoes served with the filet mignon. Again, I cannot praise the staff enough for their excellent attentiveness. Wonderful service.
went with a couple for my wife’s birthday. her scallops were over cooked and chewy, my tritale was good, but the broccolini was undercooked and couldn’t cut with the knife. expected more based on reviews and price
Between appetizers and the entrees there was a weirdly long wait. The steak was very tough, filled with gristle. A very poor cut of meat with an expensive price tag. The smoked cheese was good though. But the most expensive dish ought to be better than an appetizer. They say there is a dress code but during the tourist season that’s not true at all. Very loud venue.
Ordered to-go, got the lobster spring roll and a chocolate martini. Martini was okay, I got it because of the pictures in other reviews. Could have been worse I guess. Spring roll was down right awful. Rice paper wrapping that was soggy because of the noodles stuffed inside.
My family and I went here for a fine dining experience. The soup was served to me with a roach in it. When I brought it to the attention of the waiter he sent out the Manager. (a woman, I guess the manager) She insisted that the bug hadn't come from their kitchen and made me to feel as though I was lying. The disrespect I felt was light-years above the horror of finding a bug in my soup! She never tried to sincerely apologize, in fact she stated that perhaps that restaurant wasn't "for us". I'm not sure what she was implying exactly but it was uncalled for and offensive. And if their kitchen has bugs and their staff is rude then I will have to agree that its not for me. If you go I hope your experience is better than mine.
Service was excellent. Food quality was very poor. Grouper had no flavor, seems like it was battered and fried. Steak was mediocre at best again not much flavor or seasoning. For how expensive this was, it was way short of expectations.
Been here many times in the past as we live here full time but first time ever treated rude from the bartenders. Came it at 5 on Oct 7 and had a seat at the bar. Walked in with a friendly couple who were waited on immediately. Watched the bar fill up and we still have not been acknowledged. Two bartenders but had to ask for a drink, ask for a menu, tell them I was ready to order, ask for silverware and ask for water. I will not attend this place again. Seagars, Flemings, Tommy Bahama, etc will get our business.
