Opinions de Five Guys Mission Viejo
Five Guys never misses — juicy burgers, fresh toppings, and killer fries. A bit pricey, but every bite is worth it. One of the best fast-food burger spots out there.
Great quality burger! Fresh ingredients. And the fries were always good. I also got a shake. They are a little tough to drink through the straw, but they were good as well.
Great food and service, the staff is mostly young but they make a good spirit for the spot
First time I've been here. It was amazing. The young kid ringing us up ... Eye contact and present- accommodating my friends unusual but simple requests. He conveyed them to the ones that count and they delivered ! The place is spotless even the glass on front doors was being cleaned by the kid who rang us up. Everyone works apparently as a team and it shows. They asked mid way if our meals were good. We couldn't have asked for more. They can handle a large capacity of people without missing a beat and no one has to wait more than what it takes to make your order. The fries reg. And Cajun style taste just like the ones in New Orleans. The real A1 sauce they give u upon request is fresh and the real deal. No cutting corners or sub par imitations. Lastly each bite of the double cheese burger reg way to make it, was perfect and had the pickles and everything else distributed evenly and completely. Each bite was just as it should be, perfect. If I'm gonna eat a cheeseburger not made at home no better place to go than here really . Like knowlwood (old fashioned perfect making burgers place at the end of imperial highway at the 91 freeway in yorba linda) used to be like. I don't know if it's still there but this place closes to home is and worth every penny u spend. They have a combo special- dbl cheeseburger fries and drink for 13.99 not written on main menu lite board but a plastic. Insert sign next to register. Best deal.
There is indeed no refreidgerator here. I think they have one vegetarian item. The burgers are great.
Good overall experience but the burgers are pretty expensive if you start doing the add-ons... Cajun fries are amazing. Free peanuts prior to eating your tasty burger.
I was excited to try the amazing French fries I have heard about. I was thinking $5.99 for the small sounded stupid so I paid $7.79 (8.39) for a cup of fries. I watched them add an extra scoop into the bag, so it was a reasonable amount. I ate them fresh out of the bag and they were hot, but surprisingly soft and not really crispy or flavorful for all the seasoning that appears to be on them. Not really impressed especially for the price. I also tried free peanuts that are salted and roasted, but old and almost stale. None of them tasted fresh or crunchy, more like soft and chewy. So the staff was friendly with good attitudes and restaurant was clean and simple. Nothing too special, I don’t know why I was hoping for more. Overall, average and overpriced. Fries should be like $4 for regular size and that’s being generous. I would rather have In-n-Out for $2.50 with “light well” crispy fries any day.
I recently had the chance to try Five Guys, thanks to a birthday gift card from my cousin, and I was excited to see what all the hype was about. Right off the bat, I want to give a heads-up—if you have a peanut allergy, this place may not be for you. They have an abundance of free peanuts available as an appetizer, and the atmosphere is definitely filled with that unmistakable peanut scent. When it comes to burgers, Five Guys offers an impressive variety of toppings, but I found it to be a bit overwhelming. There were so many flavors competing that I struggled to really taste the meat itself, which was disappointing. It felt like the toppings overshadowed the quality of the burger itself. On a more positive note, the fries were quite good! I appreciated the option of malt vinegar, which you don’t often find at burger joints. It added a nice touch to the experience. However, I was taken aback by the price—two burgers and fries set me back $30, which I don’t think is quite worth it for the overall experience. While I enjoyed some aspects of my visit, particularly the fries and the variety of toppings, I don’t think I’ll rush back anytime soon. Five Guys certainly has its fans, but it just didn’t quite hit the mark for me.
First off, the service and fries are very good: 5/5. However, how this establishment falls short is the BURGER. It was not flavorful and soggy/messy, the latter of which is unacceptable considering I ate it right away at the restaurant. The burger is supposed to be the star of the show at a burger joint and I’d rate it a 2.5/5 at best. Add to that the price is way too high for fast food. I’m willing to pay $15 for just a double burger but not here again.
Twice in a row my cheeseburger had no cheese. I even ordered extra cheese this time and still, none.
Unfortunately, you only get one chance to make a first impression. Went to a Five Guys up in Santa Cruz a few months and loved it. Stopped by this one today, and was very disappointed. The burgers were only warm (not hot enough to even melt the cheese), they were dry (like they had been smashed on the grill), very few grilled onions. Very poor quality for a burger at this price point. Won't be returning 👎👎
We had often heard that Five Guys was very similar to In-N-Out but nothing could be further from the truth. The Place was dirty, the atmosphere was cheap. The Burger was a disapoint;ment the plus was the fries - quite good. If you love In-N-Out skip going to Five Guys it is a major disappointment. Yes they have similar style, but one is immaculate with very helpful people, skip these Guys.
I usually enjoy Five Guys, but my experience on Thursday, January 22, 2026, around 7 PM was disappointing. The employee working the fries that afternoon did not include the extra fries that Five Guys is known for. I ordered a large fries, and the cup wasn’t even filled properly — there were noticeably fewer fries than expected. This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed this when this same employee is working the fry station. It felt rushed and careless, especially given the price. One of the main reasons people order fries here is because of the portion size, and that standard wasn’t met at all. I hope management looks into this, as consistency and attention to detail really matter to customers.
fingers in food, poor hygiene, sloppy appearance as management look to eat 5guys more than work for them
