Clean, courteous staff and delicious. We stopped for a moment to grab a donut for my wife (pregnant and had a craving). The staff was nice and helpful. We tried a fresh off the line original glazed. Just as good as I remember them. If you haven't had one, go have one when they are coming off of the line. Then you'll see what all the fuss is about. Do I recommend them? Yes. Very much so.

We got 5 dozen donuts here and the service was spot on and fast. I love the inside with the belts and factory looking manufacturing of donuts, just a great reminder of how much I don’t care about eating natural. It was basically the opposite of eating an apple from the tree, it tastes a lot better and it’s a lot cheaper then even buying an apple at the store.. anyways I’m off track but I’ll be coming back here, ordering more donuts. This was one of the cleanest donut shops I have visited. Though I came during an hour where there were no other guests, the hot light was on and the employees offered us a free fresh glazed donut. The employees were friendly and very attentive. Much better experience than when I visit certain other donut shops.

This place is amazing!! The donuts actually melt in your mouth when they are fresh out of the oven. Glazed and apple filled are the way to go. Get a few dozen to make it worth the trip. They give a free glazed donut if you go in the store. Kids can watch them make them through a glass window inside as well.

I don't often stop and get some donuts but when I do, I always like to stop here. Krispy Kreme does a good job with donuts. They are light and always good. This is the only Krispy Kreme location I know of in South OC, and I hope it never closes, I love Krispy Kreme! My favorite time of year is when they have the pumpkin spice glazed donuts, they are amazing. Definitely worth the try! There is never a huge line inside and I think they also have a drive-thru. Fast and friendly service.

This place outshines the closer (to my home at least) Orange location because the traffic/parking is so much easier here. Like the other location though, the manufacturing assembly line is always fun for the little one to watch, & the donuts are always fun and good.

Wow is all I can say about how delicious these doughnuts are. If you can catch them when they're hot it's even better. They offer hot coffee and cold drinks ans milk also. Manu different choices of doughnuts and even a pumpkin spice cake doughnut as well. So good if you need something sweet or a quick breakfast treat for everyone.

I must say I’m almost happy this spot is not close to my place and it’s a hard spot to get to because I’d find an excuse to be there once or twice week for them hot donuts. I’m sorry it’s just stupid good! We were there last week and staff are really nice, they were making a fresh batch and he offered us a hot donut to try which was awesome. Once you have tried a fresh Krispy Kreme doughnut you will never forget it. No need to get anything fancy. Just try the melt-in-your-mouth glazed. SOOOOOOOOO GOOD! The cream-filled is amazing too. I tried chocolate, but it was too much. The original is so perfect, it doesn’t need to be embellished upon. This location has a drive thru...but at least once come in and see the doughnut assembly line. Pretty cool.

I love the donuts, the staff is friendly. The only thing that keeps me from giving it a 5 is that nearly every time they have issues using the phone app for payment and discounts. I use the drive thru because I'm in a hurry, I don't have time to come inside while they make a phone call to tech support.

Good donuts, if they have them. I can’t claim to know their business, but they seem to be out of options a lot. I find the fourth or fifth request is what they finally have available so I gotta ding them for that. As far as the donuts themselves? Five stars!

I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the customer service was not stellar. I have a feeling it's because of the rush and people waiting for a special to be done baking. But, I felt rushed in my order and the staff did not seem as friendly as I've experienced at other locations.

Only location by Lake Forest, so it gets packed. Unfortunately I've never been lucky to get fresh doughnuts, but also never been served a bad or old one. Most of the times I have to wait for them to brew dark roast. Service is good though.

Had fun with my 7 year old son watching the conveyor system take donut dough to and through the frying and glazing process. Employees were friendly and free warm donut was delicious. It was close to 9pm so a full day of work had taken place but still the floor under the conveyor should have been clean. Watching the donut glaze recirculate after passing over donuts was kind of gross only because the old icing was still in there too. Strange little brown particles were scooped up and flowed back over the top of freshly cooked donuts. I wasn’t the only person to notice it and make a face. That said, we would return for more donuts on a future visit to the Mission Viejo area.

We enjoy a Hot and Now Krispy Kreme Doughnut 🍩 from time to time. Be sure to get a sample of the Hot & Now sign is on! The doughnuts 🍩 are good, but the prices are high unless you have a rewards offer from the app. When they are hit and free they are amazing, afterwards they just seem like another over priced doughnut 🍩 to us. Actually, we prefer some other local doughnut places more and the prices are more wallet friendly.

It is a Friday night, with donut munchies at 10:45 pm. The bf and I check google and sees drive thru hours are open until 11 pm. With delight we made our way there, happy to have arrived at 10:50 pm. We pull up where the mic at the krispy kreme drive thru, the bf excited to order. We're the only ones there, happy to be first in line. We waited for a minute, then waited for two, but there was only silence. Trying to hide his excitement and with a giddy voice the bf squeaks, "hello?*insert brief pause* Is anybody there?" As he drives up to the main window, to his dismay, there was nobody there. Alas, only donutless sadness remains. 😔

I'm not from Cali. I assume the $20 minimum wage is what accounts for my order costing an outrageous $15. I love Krispy Kreme but the next time I get donuts will be in a state that pays the staff what they're actually worth and the customer gets actual value for their money. Money aside, something was off with the flavor. I suspect using oil that should have been tossed 10 batches ago. Shame.

The doughnuts were great but they had a very small selection in the way of variety available. They also did something wrong with my coffee as it tasted so bitter and disgusting. The people were friendly but they weren't working as a team so it took a lot of time to get checked out and get my coffee.

I would say Kudos for the pumpkin spice and birthday cake which was original and tasty although overall I would say that these donuts taste more like funnel cake and are lacking egg in the batter. there's just something missing and I think it's got to do with the texture and or the type or amount of oil they use. maybe it's a little bit older or maybe it's not as expensive, I don't know but it just had that funnel cake taste you know lots of cooking. it's donuts so it's never going to get less than three stars right? hot donuts were tasty but they only had one type that was hot granted it was a Wednesday night. raspberry jelly might be their best one

Arrived around 9 am. Several donuts were no longer fresh (store opens at 5:30). Free sample classic donut was offered to some, but not all, customers - seemed to be at the whim of the order taker (inside). Store was clean and well-lit. Cell reception was awful; couldn't log in.

We went to the Krispy Kreme at a really odd location in Mission Viejo. Very difficult to find. They were really short on a variety of donuts, probably because they don't make too much due to nothing else around there, thus lack of foot traffic. We were the only two people in there at what you'd expect to be peak hours. Still, their glazed donuts were as good as we remembered. Will just find a Krispy Kreme with a better location next time.

I traveled a way to go to this location. I wanted to have some St Patrick's Day donuts. In the grocery store they were $10.99 for a half dozen donuts with Saint Patrick's Day decorations. At the actual Krispy Kreme location they were $16.99 for a half a dozen! Since when did donuts cost so much money I was just shocked. They were making donuts when I came in but nobody offered a fresh hot donuts to me. That was usual practice in the past I don't know I guess they don't do it anymore. I don't think I'll be going out of my way to go to a Krispy Kreme in the future the prices are just outrageous and it's honestly just not worth it.

Food is good but huy named David didn't want to give us a dozen doughnuts for my birthday even though i have the reward thing plus last year i got a dozen and the year before that i at least got a glazed doughnut for my birthday month david was rude and a little slow also that the hot doughnut light was on and didn't care to ask or give us a free doughnut

nice place and amazing donuts however some of the employees are so racist. They neglected and ignored me and my friends. It was so rude and they would give the people behind us more attention. They also gave us dirty looks and took so long to take our order. Didn't expect this, very sad, was expecting better from Krispy Kreme.

Good donuts but this location always run out of popular donuts fast especially the popular filled ones. Every time I go they are out of 4-5 kinds. Why don’t they make more of the more demanded ones and less of the others. Last time I went I got a dozen of the same kind just because I didn’t find the other filled ones. The filled ones are in demand and always gone. Also I noticed the donuts are smaller in size now. This location needs better management for sure for better service and availability of all kinds of donuts.

Love Krispy Kremes! Their locations almost always have a drive-thru, their batter is airy and light, and they always have special flavors. That said, I bought a bunch of donuts via drive-thru today and paid $3 for their limited edition M&M donut. Only to find out, they charged me but gave me their regular glazed! What the heck? I don't see any responses from the business here so I don't expect any remediation but I am so disappointed.

There are bees all over the outside of the store due to the dumpster being filled with donuts. Apple fritter is not even cooked! Their apple fritter is undercooked and doughy.

My mom had a hankering for donuts. Was thrilled to find a Krispy Kreme in her area. I haven’t been to one in a while. The prices were shocking especially given their tiny size! Wow! The tables, chairs and floors were filthyy when I pointed it to the manager. She never apologized for it and said she we would send someone out right away. We waited because, no exaggeration, not 1 place to sit. We finally left. I ordered a cup of ice water and there were black things in the bottom of the water glass. Working in the restaurant biz myself, I know the ice machine gets dirty and needs to be washed out with hot water weekly. The donuts were good, but the cleanliness needs to be addressed.

Ordered a dozen of donuts on a Sunday morning at 8:00am. The light was on that said "Hot Now" But all the donuts were cold & tasted like they were made days ago. Even Winchell's Donuts has hot & fresh donuts on any Sunday morning at that time. This is my first & last time here. Not happy. When I stopped in for a donut around 4pm I noticed all the fresh donuts coming off the conveyor belt. I ordered one of them, but the employee refused to sell me a fresh donut! The employee said that those donuts are for tomorrow! I asked if they were kidding, but he would not sell me a fresh donut. I asked if any on display were recently made and he said that none of them were made recently. I was forced to buy an old donut. Unbelievable...a donut shop that doesn't want to sell donuts!!! Now I just drive by the store.

Don't order online. I had no idea they were having a free donut give away on 5/19/20. I ordered a dozen donuts, getting of the freeway the line was backed up from the freeway off ramp (probably 50 cars). After waiting 10 mins with no line movement, I decided I did not have time to wait 4 hours, so I would go back and cancel my order. Guess what, you can't cancel! I tried calling the store 7 times in 3 days, they won't answer. What would a reputable company do here? They would not charge you. Nope. They charged me, for an order I never picked up. Finally had to dispute the charge on my credit card. Thank god for credit cards, makes it hard for companies like this to steal your money. I will never come back.

So disappointed in this location and its manager. Today was St. Patrick's Day and so I preordered and paid for a dozen of their specialty donuts for my daughter's bday. Instinctively knowing it would be a busy day, I specifically ordered the donuts ahead of time so I didn't have to worry about them running out. I get there this morning to a half-hour car line and am subsequently told they are sold out! To which, I replied, yes, but I already ordered mine. It didn't matter. The manager proceeds to tell me that they had a lot of people drive up and buy dozens and so they are sold out! I couldn't believe it. I was like, but you didn't first make sure you filled all your preorders first? Just unbelievable. I'm not sure who is running this location, but they need training.

I don’t often go to this area but recently I had business in the area and got donuts twice in the last couple weeks. And both times I got incorrect orders. I got 6 donuts each time and the first time I got 1 incorrect doughnut. An American flag instead of original glazed. Which I think I could have been charged extra for. And the second time I got 3 incorrect doughnuts. A icing filled instead of custard, a chocolate iced instead of chocolate cake and another chocolate iced instead of original glazed. Honestly I wonder if it was an accident or they simply didn’t have what I ordered so they choose to give out random items.

Disappointed experience. Ordered a dozen filled donuts through their App. Check-in at the drive thru for pick up, but didn't get my info correctly. At the window, missed my order with the other. Double confirmed that it's a online order then brought out my box of dozen. Very very cold but what's even worse was that they messed up the order inside. They gave me a dozen of only ONE flavor instead of half and half of TWO flavors as advertising on the menu. No way to check inside at the time in the drive thru since they sealed the box with sticker. No point driving 10 miles back for the half dozen of the other flavor. Have been to the other store in Orange, that one definitely a better experience. Will never come here again.

Very dishonest establishment. The morning manager is cold. I called 18 hours in advance and placed an order. Their online prices are 14.99 per 2 dozen. They charged over 20.00 for 2 dozen. When confronted with the online information the manager demanded I leave or return the donuts. No personality and no customer service skills. When I called to follow up, they repeatedly hung up. No integrity at this place. Makes you think that if they are this bad at honesty and customer service, do they clean the place properly? I will never go to this place again. Terrible service. Terrible.

Just overpriced donuts that are similar to the Starbucks coffee craze. I'd rather go to SC Donuts and pay almost half the price per donut and get a better taste. Getting a dozen mixed donuts for the family on a weekend shouldn't make you wish you had better life choices. I only visited this location because my daughter told me that their donuts were the best. Of course this was before I got sick from the oil used to fry the batches of donuts. So if you like overpriced, old oil and trendy donuts I'd recommend stopping by and wasting your money. But, if you want the real deal, try one of the many small businesses in the area that actually make small batches of donuts that taste great and don't get stale after half a day. Plus you can get a dozen that doesn't break your bank account. Also want to add that the lady who helped us was not friendly at all. I would have walked out but my daughter really wanted a donut, sucks I had to waste money because I love my daughter that much (trust me our kids are always worth it).

Came in to see if I’d get lucky and get a coupon for a free dozen on the Feb 13 promo. Went to the counter to pick out donuts and was approached by an older lady who asked “How can I help you?” I asked “Is this store participating in the promotion?” She said yes, then didn’t say anything so I just said I wanted to get a box of 3 donuts. We went to the register and I asked “So how does the promotion work? Would I know if I get the coupon at the register or before when I’m picking out my donuts?” She responded, “Well, I’ll be honest. This is my second time coming here. Workers have an attitude or a lack of customer service skills, not sure which. Donuts are fine. Last time the presentation of my donuts were incredibly sloppy, this time they handed back my card very sticky because the lady was handling donuts and then handling my card which means- correct, handling donuts thereafter VERY UNSANITARY. I came to pick up a dozen glazed donuts and wanted to redeem a “free doughnut” reward. The worker Richard was not friendly and had a bad attitude. After purchasing the dozen, he told me I couldn’t redeem the reward. Apparently I had to purchase 2 extra doughnuts apart from the dozen (the reward stated with any purchase) he kept having a condescending tone and said “well my Scanner isn't working and it’s not going to magically appear on my screen” He refused to give us our free doughnut and said they are saving the donuts that had made tonight for the next day. Is that normal? Richard had claimed their machine broke. The manager was not helpful either. He came rushing to the window saying “so what do you want? A free donut?” I just hope corporate can do something about the manager and Richard. First and last time I will be coming to this location

Hey everyone, check your order before you leave this Mission Viejo location drive thru. I ordered 6 chocolate iced cream filled and got 6 chocolate sprinkled. I was the only car in the drive thru. It was not busy inside either at 3:30 pm today. The person taking my order repeated it and had it right. I didn't understand the cashier muttering my order as I paid. I should have double checked. We don't like and won't eat what was given, so that's $15 that went into the trash cause I'm not driving round trip 8 miles to get my order corrected. Such a simple order during a slow time. How hard can it be? Especially when it's not even busy?! Get a grip and do better. The manager should void the transaction.
