This review is way long overdue! We have been coming to Terrace on the Green for a couple years now. For breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks after a round of golf, their events (mother's day/Easter, etc.) We have NEVER had a bad experience or a single issue. We even held a private event (my husband's 30th birthday) here and had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food, the atmosphere, the cocktails, the staff, everything is always 10/10. We cannot recommend this place enough. A huge shout out to Paul, he always goes out of his way to say hello or check in to make sure everything is going well with our lunch/dinner. We recently dined here for their Valentine's Day event and again we were blown away by how wonderful everything was. Our favorite restaurant in Mission Viejo!!

We held an event there and had an incredible experience. The staff were helpful, friendly, and happy to help us problem-solve the last minute issues that always come up with huge parties. They were able to accommodate our guests with dietary restrictions, and the food was very tasty. The servers and staff were attentive and organized. The bartender made a great old-fashioned. The space was beautiful, lots of space to put our decorations. Great communication before the event organizing the details. Would totally recommend having an event there.

This service really is a hit and miss if there is a gal working, she does a fantastic job but if it’s one of the guys, they are so off and absolutely a nightmare and it’s a shame because the chef puts out really beautiful dishes very tasty and very nice, but unfortunately, the guys that are working there, they lack the experience and the professionalism and ability to provide the service to get this place to a 5star for Service.

Terrace on the Green is such a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The view of the golf course is absolutely the best part. calming, open, and just perfect for a nice breakfast or lunch.The Meat Lovers flatbread was really good and full of flavor, and the poke was fresh and delicious. Our server was friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. Overall, a great place with amazing views and solid food choices. Definitely worth a visit!

A wonderful spot with delicious food, a beautiful view, and super friendly staff. The whole experience felt relaxing and enjoyable definitely a place I’d come back to! The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they don’t offer a variety of coffee only black coffee was available.

This is a hidden Channel in Mission Viejo. It has a very nice outdoor seating arrangement overlooking the golf course. The setting is fitting for a weekend brunch, where you can sip your favorite beverage while enjoying the calm breeze and absorbing the greenery around you. I wanted to try their breakfast but I got there a little too late. I opted for the French dip, which is a shaved rib eye sandwich with caramelized onions on a soft potato roll with au jus. It comes with Swiss cheese but I asked for it to be removed. The au jus was just a bit too salty for my liking. Generous amount of meat in a very soft and warm bun. Come to the side of chips. Service was fast and friendly.

My whole digestive system was in some sort of a shock for about 24 hours. Service is good and the view is very nice and relaxing. I will go there again but for breakfast.

Had a pleasant happy hour experience here tonight with a couple of friends. They have a decent selection of draft beers (I had an amber lager), and I had an excellent bacon cheeseburger, properly cooked medium rare. The fries that came with it were excellent as well. We sat on the patio and got a table with a nice, tranquil view of the fairway. In general, a pleasant experience!

It was probably my first and last time visiting. Despite the beautiful nature and nearby golf courses, the service didn’t meet expectations. The beverages could definitely be better for the price. We ordered the fish and chips — while the fish was tasty, the fries were not fresh or flavorful. Overall, the place feels like it needs more attention to detail.

Recently,we visited Café Terrace on the Green to celebrate attracted by the beautiful view. Unfortunately, the service and food quality were extremely disappointing. First, all the dishes seemed very similar, as if the same dish was simply presented in different ways. The presentation varied, but essentially, it was the same dish. Second, we ordered tea and coffee, and the water used for them tasted as if it hadn’t been boiled properly. Additionally, on a day when the temperature was 91°F, we asked for water. After we had closed our bill, the waiter refused to bring a simple glass of water for our child. This is completely unacceptable, especially on such a hot day, to deny a child free water. It is evident that the manager and waitstaff need training in courtesy and customer service. From the very first minute, the waitstaff displayed poor behavior, unable to bring water, frequently forgetting utensils like forks and spoons, and requiring multiple requests to fulfill basic needs. There was also a noticeable unfriendly attitude towards Asians. Overall, the poor service and subpar food greatly detract from the otherwise lovely setting of this café. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly.

We have her own chair she sits in and can easily be placed away from anything of Ricardo's concern. I told him this is our service dog, she goes everywhere with us, including here, many, many times. I'm sad that Ricardo ruined this for us and our family and friends. We came here 3 times a week and would tell our friends and family all about it as well. We will no longer be coming here and that's a shame over something that didn't need to happen. Shame on you Ricardo. There are better way to go about this and it's a shame you were trained correctly, and if you were trained correctly and did this, even more of a shame on you. I will be filing a complaint at California Civil Rights Department (CRD).

I’m shocked that a restaurant with breakfast menu doesn’t serve a coffee or latte or any other espresso for breakfast at 10AM and they have only decaf coffee! I felt they refused to provide service!

We have been to this restaurant many times with no issue as our dog is quiet, causes no issues with anyone. In fact, she brings more joy than anything to everyone around her.
