Happened to come across this place and so glad i did. Food was delicious and had a really nice presentation. The staff was very friendly as well. I went again 2 days later (this time with family) and was not dissappointed at all. What a great find!

This brunch spot delivered an excellent experience with both presentation and taste. We tried the strawberry waffle topped with fresh berries and whipped cream, fluffy blueberry pancakes with a touch of lemon, and a beautifully plated avocado toast with poached eggs, arugula, cherry tomatoes, feta, and balsamic drizzle. The veggie wrap with fresh fruit was a solid savory choice, and the standout was a hearty veggie scramble topped with avocado and crispy vegan sausage balls. The menu offers a wide variety of vegan options and substitutions, making it easy to accommodate different dietary needs. Portions were generous, service was quick, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared—a perfect place for a delicious and balanced brunch.

This time, I opted for chicken fried steak breakfast - yummy - filled my stomach to the brim 🫣! I also had their hot cafe latte. My friend had one of their smoothies and avocado toast. We both enjoyed our breakfast and will visit again. I asked the waitress for what the favorites are and she did not hesitate to go over each section of the menu. That's pretty good service. Parking can be a challenge but not so much this time. Will definitely go back👏

The staff was super friendly. My fiesta burrito was delicious! My friend enjoyed his salmon eggs benedict. The cinnamon swirl pancake was nice, but not my favorite. Just my personal preference, though. I would love to eat here again!

Service was great on top of good food. I had the 2 option choice egg Benedict’s and it was on point. Food came out about 10-15 mins after and they were catching up at 10am, ihop/denny’s interior similar although spacier and high ceiling! Worth the buck

1/13/2026 Stopped by Broken Yoke today with my neighbor Drew. Sochy was our amazing and attentive server. The ambiance was positive and we were sat at a nice booth . Drew ordered eggs over medium, hash browns, fruit and toast and I had the Country fried steak with home fries. Both dishes were hot and tasty. We both had coffee and cranberry juice. Sochy was very kind and checked on us frequently. We had a nice breakfast and good conversation. Highly recommended. 3/21/2025 Stopped by for breakfast at the Broken Yoke, a great spot. Carolina was our amazing server and she is always a blessing. My wife had eaten breakfast earlier but accompanied me and had some fruit. I had the no name omelet with 2 sausage links and tomato slices. Benito brought out the food and this guy is simply amazing. He manages the kitchen, ensures quality control and visits the customers while delivering meals. The food, service and people are amazing 👏. The ambiance is always positive and upbeat. Highly recommended 10/4/2024 Had a fantastic breakfast this morning at Broken Yolk in Mission Viejo. Sandra was my kind and extraordinary server. Very efficient and professional. The restaurant is clean, the staff are pleasant and welcoming and the food delicious. I ordered the chicken fried steak, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, sourdough toast, OJ and yes of course a coffee. The food was delivered hot and tasty and the coffee and OJ perfect. Sandra was a gem and I appreciate a good breakfast at a consistently good Cafe or Diner. Highly recommended Previous visit Had a terrific breakfast yesterday at Broken Yoke. Juan was my server and was terrific, providing quality customer service. I ordered the chicken fried steak with fruit, two scrambled eggs and sourdough toast and it was perfect. I could not finish it all but it was truly a good breakfast. The ambiance was calm and cool with terrific background music. Highly recommended

Delish!!! My first time today and tried two different plates. Both amazing! The eggs Benedict are one of the best I've ever tasted!! Looking forward to my next visit. There are breakfast, lunch options and all the sides and fixings! Great bright location easy to get to off fwy. Friendly staff and oh the coffee is on point for flavor!

Great place to bring the family. Prices are fair but on the higher side. The quality is far superior to most places around this location. Coffee selections rotate seasonally. The selection of eggs Benedict is off the charts. A must go for breakfast. Oh ya, healthy options are avaliable as well

A daddy daughter breakfast, I had been to 2 in Vegas on a work trip. Found this one by my house, now it our favorite spot. Not quite the same atmosphere as Vegas, but the food is as Great.

First time here. Their menu offers an extensive variety of dishes. The breakfast I ordered was good though the steak could have been marinated better or longer and though I don't mind fat, I am not fond of gristle. The food was quite abundant and the service exemplary.

The home fries are not fries at all but rather soggy, wet slices of potato. Smoked salmon benedict was really tasty though!

My daughter had the Nutella & strawberry crepes. Wife had ricotta pancake (short stack), FIL had French toast and MIL had chicken and waffles. No complaints. We went in a Wednesday morning so it wasn't busy which was nice but at the same time there was no vibe. They do have a food challenge that is eerily similar to Tje Regular Show's 'Eggs-cellent' challenge minis the fruit bowl. The 'Iron Man Omelette Challenge' is a 12 egg omelet with onions, mushrooms, cheese and tipped off with chili and more cheese. 2 biscuits and home fries come with that, as well. No substitutions. If you can eat ask that within 1-hour, you get a t-shirt, the meal is free ($40), and your picture on their wall of fame. I believe Randy Santel has taken on and beaten this challenge.

My fiancee ate here yesterday and it was absolutely fantastic. The portions were large the price was more than reasonable and the service was excellent. We both had The Omelette customized and it was tasty. Portions was so large that next time we can both split an omelette. There free refills on the soda and coffee and is also free WiFi. The only downside is that they have odd hours, they close at 2:30 in the afternoon.

Very low quality Mexican breakfast. We both agreed that the food was not good. I finished my americano and asked for a refill but the waiter said this was an expresso, and there are no refills for expresso. I told him that I had asked for americano, the expresso was so watered down that I thought it was americano. Anyways the cost for espresso and americano refill were the same. At any rate he did not offer to bring americano. In conclusion the food was very tasteless and weak and the service was not good at all. If you had good Mexican breakfast before, you can tell the difference. The food looks good and has nice presentation but it’s not tasty. Not impressed and won’t go back.

First time here. My son and his girlfriend were out visiting and we wanted a good breakfast. Found this on yelp and thought we'd give it a try. Wonderful menu options and was so delighted that we didn't have to wait to be seated. It did get a little busier after we arrived so maybe we beat the rush. Everything started out fine until they brought my son's coffee which had hairs on it. So he asked for a replacement which he received. Then our food was brought out and my son's girlfriend's order was incorrect - not even close ... So of course we had to wait a little longer for her food to be prepared. I ordered a tuna melt which was very bland and extremely dry. How does that happen with the tuna melt? The people sitting next to us were having an issue with their order which went on for quite a while... Confusion by the staff seems to be very common here as well as bland food. Will definitely be spending our money and time elsewhere.

I got there in 30 minutes to pick it up thinking it'd be ready. Irina said she had no idea if my order was ready or not because it wasn't at the front desk for pick up. She asked me to pay first at the front desk without knowing if my ordered has even been made. I asked But where is my order? What if my order hasn't been prepared? I couldn't wait there for them to make it I had to get back to work. But Irina refused to ask the kitchen to check to see if my order was ready. She tried to take my credit card and said "Do you want me to check or not?" I complied only because I couldn't let her waste more of my time. Irina should not be treating customers like that. Very bad customer service and very rude to customer. I used to like eating here but they need to hire better staff.
