Wow I am so IMPRESSED!!! I ordered online & I went through the drive thru & staff was very nice!! & once I got home that's when the real magic happened!! ☺️ Everything was fresh & the portions were huge for the price!! I got 5 crispy tacos & steak nachos & they didn't forget my limes or all the hot sauces either!! Definitely coming back!! Yum!

We had to try Tornado Tacos because we loved Tornado Burgers and we found out they were owned by the same family. They give you plenty. My wife got the tater & queso bowl with shredded chicken....this was 5 stars, tasty and easier to eat in the car. Our son got the 5 crispy tacos special, I copied him. They were 4 stars....The hamburger meat could've used more seasoning, the crispy shells were all soggy on the bottom and fell apart, still worth the price and I had fun using the first eating device....fingers. The tacos came with a red salsa and a green salsa, both were very good, the green had some nice heat to it. Our son got a side of the best charro beans, we all tasted it and wished we'd ordered more. We showed up on a rainy day so I wasn't able to take as many pics as I wanted to.....next visit. Yes there will be another trip to Tornado Tacos. They have some outdoor seating.

Has a drive thru and patio outside. Great atmosphere great people. Heard from a friend that they make great tacos so had to try it.

The burritos taste okay, maybe because I had higher expectation from other reviews. I think the food is freshly cooked, price is reasonable and the patio is nice. I wouldn't crave the carnitas burrito 🌯 to make a trip out here for it. If convenient, I'll stop by to try something else.

Drove 30 mins to get here. First time here. Ordered crispy tacos and steak tacos. I pulled over in the parking lot to eat. It's got alot of meat and toppings, just bland barely warm meat. Lettuce and tomato were ice cold. No problem there. Steak taco good amount of meat. Same problem, barely warm, slightly more flavorful than the ground beef. Maybe I went on a bad day. These taxos would be awesome if they were hot and had some salt. If you need to save a buck, sure, you get alot of bland, lukewarm at food. Crispy taco 5, steak taco 6. Mexican coke, great.

Not the best and not the worst spot for tacos in Stafford. And they have birria now and I was super excited to try it. It’s ok. Weird after taste. But still decent, just not something to rage about. Worth stopping by if in the area for some tacos

It didn't live up to the hype. I got a potato and egg taco & barbacoa taco. The potato and egg was fresh and hot, but the tortillas on both tacos tasted old and bought from the store. The barbacoa taco looks great, but tasted okay. I didn't finish it because something seemed off. It tasted kind of watery. A lot of people seem to like this place as the drive thru line is out to the road. Idk it just wasn't good to me.

Bad service! The girl on the headset rushed me through my order, cut me off several times with the total without asking if I wanted anything else. Finally, I gave up and just pulled forward without ordering everything I wanted. Then when I got home my birria burrito plate only had the burrito in it, no beans & rice. I specified twice it was the burrito plate not just the burrito. My birria taco didn’t have any consume with it and the chicken tacos were covered in onions and again didn’t have any beans and rice. The green salsa was the best part of the meal. Probably won’t be back! So disappointing! Wednesday night at 7:30pm should have better service and food than this! Velvet Taco it is!!

Tornado Taco is the pure definition of love it or hate it. Under first impression, I thought that Tornado Taco was an amazing value. The tacos were loaded with bacon, tortillas were tasty, the amount of ingredients were just right. After several further visits over the years, I realized that there is no consistency in quality here. The only thing that has been consistent visit after visit is their salsa verde. Most of the time, the bacon is loaded but stuck together. The bacon is not crispy but chewy and dry. The tortillas leave a lot more to be desired. They aren't as bad as store quality, but they are nowhere near the deliciousness of homemade.. The amount of egg that I get in my taco is very inconsistent too. Sometimes there will be a sliver of egg, whereas other times there's so much egg that you could call the taco a burrito. Their barbacoa used to be amazing. Now it is typically flavorless and dry. The lunch/dinner menu is absolutely terrible. Breakfast tacos are the only thing I've found edible here.

I honestly don't know why these reviews are so high, this place is like the worst breakfast taco experience in town but I am sucker for non chains.... 1. there is 0 seasoning on the potatoes or eggs, so prepare to drown with salsa or it will taste unsalted/bland 2. the diced potatoes will contain chunks that are raw 3. the tortillas are the worst ones I had in my life...imagine cheap store bought tortillas that are going stale and a gum like texture that you have to pull with your teeth to chew at times... I don't know if they are just stale, or they source them from a discount/dollar store.... 4. meats look like vommit and dry that are also lowest in quality 5. cheddar cheese melts and has this plastic shimmer (think cicis)

Been coming here about once a week for over 2 years. I always either get breakfast tacos or a torta. Today I got my usual 2 breakfast tacos. 1 taco had a little bit of egg sprinklesd over it (it wasn't even 1 eggs worth) and the second didn't even have egg on over half the taco. It was the first time ever that I went back and complained about the food. And instead of fixing it the they told me they were right. Even the guy behind me tried saying they didn't look right but they didn't want to hear. Mistakes happen, but if that is how they treat a customer, especially a loyal long term one, then it time for me to find a new place.

🤢 a long piece of hair came with salsa and chips for $2.75 after about the fourth chip and dip in. I ordered the breakfast taco as well didn’t get to enjoy it did a upturn to get a refund and vent to employee that they should have hair nets!!! I am totally disgusted will not be returning the manager was not there however, there was a lady in charge very unconcerned, very passive and normalizing that accidents happen with hair, long pieces of hair in food!! 🤬
