Excellent restaurant with homemade local cuisine. The fillet steak with cooked wine and the fried gnocco with culatello are exceptional, but all the dishes are worth trying. The desserts are also homemade and very good. Excellent value for money. A place to return to.

We went to Trattoria al Lago Verde in Reggiolo today and had a wonderful time. We booked through The Fork, and from the moment we called, the staff was friendly and helpful, accommodating our requests, especially since we had a small child with us. We started with a platter of mixed cured meats, accompanied by gnocco fritto and sgonfiotti, then ordered four first courses: tortelli with Reggiolo pumpkin, tortelli verdi with spinach, and cappellacci with potatoes, cheese, and truffle. Everything was delicious, so much so that we didn't even have time to take a photo! For our second course, we tried the donkey stew with roasted polenta, which was truly excellent, paired with a nice Lambrusco. To finish, we had exquisite artisanal desserts, coffee with a biscuit, and, as a final surprise, they offered us apricots preserved in grappa. One detail we really appreciated: at the end of the meal, they let us pick up a lost earring, even though the restaurant was already closed. I recommend this place not only for the delicious food, but also for the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. We'll be back!

Excellent romantic location, with its own style throughout, from the tablecloths included, in a ceremonial or event style on spacious circular tables (very rare) with an excellent "cart d'or" of various food choices (meat or fish), excellent meat-based fillets with green pepper or balsamic vinegar... they melted in the mouth, with their softness and great taste! Not least of all the rest on the side and the good sweet still Lambrusco typical of the place. Quick table service and advice in all its parts. Medium-high price, but worth it all! Very kind anyway at the discount counter and more. I highly recommend as a couple, in a group of friends or as a work meeting by virtue of various events (e.g. pre-Christmas or pre-summer exodus, Easter etc...). Greetings and thank you very much. Went there with the fork 30% discount and was totally worthy. We asked for tagliere with gnocco fritto. Delicious. As mains we asked for cappellacci di patate, formaggio and tartufo. Was good. And gnocchi di ricotta e spinaci al gorgonzola. This was excellent. Finally a tiramisu and a chocolate mousse. With a small wine bottle, we paid 20 eur per person. Totally recommended.

I happened to stop by this restaurant with friends who had already been there and were very pleased. I can confirm both the quality of the food and the location, located a bit outside the town center, in the countryside, with parking available. The restaurant is clean, well-kept, large, and airy; it's also ideal for events (communions, birthdays, and more, even with large numbers of attendees). I tried a couple of appetizers, including excellent culatello, and a plate of tortelli. It's been a while, so I don't remember the details, but I do remember that everything was excellent and well-cooked, with genuine, local ingredients. I'd give each dish a score between an 8 and 9. The price is more than adequate for the quality of the food, making it an excellent choice for a dinner with friends, but a little less so for a romantic dinner.

An '80s/'90s-style venue, large and spacious, suitable for both small and large tables. There are various rooms, including small ones, where you can enjoy a good amount of privacy. The outdoor garden is ideal for letting the kids play. The servings are generous, traditional dishes, very good. The service is good, the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and helpful. I've been there in the evenings year-round, summer and winter, and even to celebrate New Year's Eve... Well done.

Dinner on November 3, 2025. Excellent location, excellent selection of grilled and cured meats. Excellent fried gnocci and cheeses. We had a great time; it's a great place, large but welcoming. I think summer is even better given the large lawn outside. Highly recommended. If I had to offer a small piece of advice, not a criticism, it would be to include the names of the producers of the wines and the vintage on the wine list.

We wanted to try this trattoria after reading the reviews. The atmosphere is vintage, reminiscent of old trattorias. The menu is rich in choices...we opted for cured meats with gnocco fritto and gonfiatti, a first course, and a second course. Overall, we were quite satisfied, although I think the first course menu could be reduced so as to offer fresh, not frozen, pasta. Anyway, I think we'll be back!

We found this great restaurant by chance, and it was absolutely a great choice, and we'll definitely return if needed. It's located in Reggiolo, and honestly, if it weren't for the GPS, we would have given up. However, we found a restaurant with ample parking, well-maintained, spacious, and well-equipped, with a good presence throughout. The service immediately impressed us, a strong point in terms of promptness, skill, and customer service. The food was authentic, homemade, beautifully presented for the setting, and the prices were absolutely reasonable. The place could be used for a variety of purposes. The desserts were excellent, including the millefeuille with zabaglione, incredibly delicious! The waiter (manager?) recommended an excellent 375ml bottle of Lambrusco, a plus as it's not always available elsewhere, for those who drink alone or want something more than a glass. In short, a random choice made through a reservation with The Fork, definitely worth considering.

Vecchia trattoria, con piatti tipici e non, menù anni 70, con tanta scelta, la mia esperienza non è stata tra le migliori, ho atteso 35 minuti l'acqua dopo essermi seduto al tavolo, con il menù mi sono dovuto arrangiare e procurarmelo, uno dei primi era scotto, un'altro primo doveva essere con panna e salsiccia invece era con ragù. Ho trovato invece la Fiorentina fatta bene e di qualità buoni i dolci. Ultima nota, se viene offerto un dolcino di carnevale con crema.... la crema non deve essere quasi acida perché vecchia, fate attenzione.
