Discovered online, this restaurant is located in the beautiful historic center of Mondovì. This vintage, beautiful, and welcoming restaurant is welcoming, and the staff pampers you from the moment you enter. The limited seating contributes to the wonderful atmosphere of intimacy. The food also amazed us, with reasonable prices and a wide selection of wines. The menu is varied, offering many seafood dishes and a perfect blend of Ligurian and Piedmontese cuisines. What can I say? A wonderful discovery.

The tavern is located on a side street off the main square. The decor is unique but still pleasant! The menu is extensive but not overwhelming, with a few off-menu items. The selection is both seafood and meat. The food was very good; the shrimp ravioli were super tasty, the mixed fried fish was also good, and the melon granita at the end of the meal was excellent! Reasonable value. Parking was easy to find! Recommended

The staff were extremely friendly and the traditional Piedmontese dishes were excellent. For appetizers, we tried the veal with tuna sauce and the raw meat tartare, both delicious! The tartare was exceptional, incredibly fresh, and very flavorful. For first courses, we chose the butter and sage agnolotti and the cheese gnocchi. The only downside: The gnocchi could be softer. Otherwise, everything was perfect. For drinks, they brought us two glasses of Canevel prosecco, delicious and perfectly chilled. For dessert, we tried the almond semifreddo and the strawberry one. Both were very good, but if I had to choose, I'd choose the almond one. Excellent value for money, congratulations!

A lovely little place with a summer terrace right in the heart of the historic center. We had lunch inside and were greeted with kindness and friendliness. We ordered two appetizers, a first course, a second course, two desserts, a half-liter of house sparkling wine, still water, and a coffee, all for €85. Everything was delicious; the only thing that wasn't entirely clear was the lack of details on the final bill. If we asked for clarification, it would have shown €10 for a half-liter of wine on tap, a €4 cover charge per person, and a different price for dessert. Regardless, we ate well.

A bit hidden, but close to the historic center square. The atmosphere is a reminder of the 1960s, like many other restaurants in Piedmont. It's well-maintained, spotlessly clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly. We were expecting more traditional cuisine, but everything was good.

A nice, quiet, and uncluttered place in the center of Mondovì. Clean and intimate. The dishes are good and well-presented, the only thing I didn't like was the cuttlefish appetizer: it was bitter, and I couldn't appreciate any other flavor. I think it was due to the olives. The tartare was excellent, as were the first courses and dessert. Service was adequate. The prices are a bit high, as if there's no difference between appetizers and first courses, despite the portions being significantly different (the pasta is generous). Worth a try, but not one I'd recommend regularly.

After a more than excellent start with the appetizers, the nearly hour-long wait for three first courses was unacceptable, to say the least. The first courses also fell far short of expectations: trenette with pesto was actually tagliatelle. Trofie was undercooked and rubbery. Gnocchi with octopus, but that sauce was definitely not octopus. What a shame.

[Update 20190401]Recently I went again with 2 children. The waitress was not nice to the 14 year old boy and she claimed the main course isn't available from the lunch menu, therefore we are forced to take 2 antipasti, all cold plates. When I understand both plates are cold 5 minutes after ordering, I kindly told her that the children would like to have a hot plate and I kindly request to take away the second cold plate away. She first refused and say that the dish is prepared (ok. For cold dish you don't need to prepare 40 mins before, not possible but ok). Then when she understands I have no problem to pay, she changed her mind and serve me (strange that she thinks I can't pay for a 15eu dish?!). In the end, we got the hot dish but in a terrible manner. She really is a bad waitress!!! We didn't want to stay long also because children need to go to school after lunch, then when we are paying, she cheated the bill!!!! Unbelievable!!! She tried to put 5 eu more on the bill and if we don't look at the bill and count, we'd pay 5 eu more for her cheating behavior!!!! I highly suggest NOT to go here because this restaurant is no longer good like before. If you go, you should anyway control the bill in case of the bad female waitresses. (201810) It is one of the only restaurants in mondivi that I keep coming back. The insalata russa and the beef are my recommendation. The Russian salad is really really good. I fall in love from the first time I tried (3 years ago).
