A must-see when we come to Mondovì, we stop for lunch at this trattoria the evening before leaving. The menu is good and the selection is varied. The appetizer is fantastic. The service is excellent and fast.

I confirm the best reviews :) Highly recommended!! Top quality for the price. It's a trattoria, not a Michelin-starred restaurant: you don't go there for the location, and you don't expect white gloves. Passing by and on the recommendation of a local, we ordered the lunch menu on a Saturday, and found it clean, with excellent homemade dishes, plentiful, and at a very fair price. The service was good: polite and friendly. Authentic. Well done :))

Highly recommended trattoria. The cuisine is simple and homely, truly delicious. The staff is friendly, helpful, and pleasant, and the service is quick and accurate. It's a great place for Sunday family lunches or even just a lunch break during work. Prices are affordable, portions are generous, and Sunday lunch includes five appetizers, a choice of first and second courses, and dessert. The only drawback is the bathroom; it's located at the bottom of a fairly steep staircase, making it difficult for older people to reach. I recommend booking; it's very popular, especially on weekends.

A very popular place in the area with ample parking, even for heavy vehicles, like my 13-meter bus. I really appreciated that even though it was a business lunch, the table was set with a cloth tablecloth, cloth napkins, and everything needed was already on the table. Something you don't see anymore, even in renowned restaurants. Delicious, home-made food. I'll be back to eat here again as soon as I have the opportunity.

I stumbled upon this place by chance with my family, and I can only give you positive feedback! We hadn't booked, but even though the place was practically full, the lady at the counter found us a seat right away. We didn't even have to wait long to try the house specialties. The food was homemade and tasty! If I had to find a negative, it would be that I would have used the air conditioning in the dining room (since it was there) to cool things down a bit, given the very hot day. Otherwise, highly recommended!

We ate quite well for the price. The service was quite quick and friendly. The only downside is the bathrooms, which are at the bottom of a flight of stairs and are squat-style, making them a bit uncomfortable for women.

A trattoria popular during the week with workers and truck drivers, located between Mondovì and Carrù. Simple decor and fairly quick service. The menu is presented by the waitress and includes three to four first courses and three to four second courses, plus side dishes and desserts. Good quality. Recommended are the lentil soup, potato gnocchi, and boiled meat. The fixed price is €16.50, including coffee. Recommended for those with modest expectations and who value substance.

Dramatic. Anyone who rates this place 4/5 stars can't be credible. Aside from the courtesy, you can't eat vitello tonnato with pork and industrial mayonnaise, or raw meat with more garlic (minced) than meat. The wine and coffee are fine. These reviews should be verified... Deleted

HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED Trattoria. Unfortunately, my experience was VERY negative. The staff is friendly, but something has changed lately. It was my fifth time there, and the first three times I was fine. The second to last time, I found the appetizers subpar (a few days old), and if they were fresh, I wouldn't dare think so. And the white wine... it was better to skip it. This last time, thinking that the previous visit had been a one-off, we started with appetizers that were once again not fresh, perhaps due to the fact that two days earlier was May Day and the appetizers were also dated, bland, and flavorless. I ordered artichoke risotto for my first course and my arms dropped... it tasted like boiled rice diluted with broth and little pieces of artichoke that looked like they were in oil. Alas, at a certain point, I found myself with a nice artichoke spine about a centimeter long in my mouth. I shuddered at the thought of it ending up in the mouth of one of my two grandchildren. I told the waitress (who couldn't help it) to tell the kitchen to be careful because that should never happen. The second course was a roast chicken (two very dry pieces and an inedible piece of neck) with a side of tiny French fries. The white wine, as usual... not up to the standard of a trattoria. I didn't order anything else, neither dessert nor coffee; I'd lost my appetite. I went to pay and, AFTER paying, I asked the owner if the staff had pointed out the artichoke spine issue to her, and she said no, adding that I was certainly wrong, but I had taken two photos, one with the spine in the foreground and the second further away, also framing their "order" at the edge of the table. In response, I was told that these things happen... and I emphasized that they should NOT happen, and in response, turning her back on me and walking away, she snapped at me, saying, "Don't come next time." Yes, I left, pointing out that even the pseudo-risotto was awful (I do it better, but at least I do a little soffritto). I emphasize that I'm not a "local guide" who's interested in positive reviews, much less someone who seeks out trattorias with dimmable table lamps. I've been frequenting trattorias in Piedmont forever, including the historic Piole in Turin, the ones with adjoining bocce courts, and I've always had a good time. The staff also seemed changed, still polite but less cheerful. A shame. The price was reasonable, but for what I ate...overpriced. Oh, I forgot that I ate lunch in the part of the restaurant near the windows overlooking the street, where the flower pots are, and the ants were happily wandering around. I repeat, I've been there five times. It can happen once, but twice, and with the added burden of the owner's arrogance in the face of the evidence... all she had to do was say... she's right. To support my assertion, I'm attaching photos.
