This location has a Friendly and Courteous staff behind the counter with the full menu in front of you to see. The place was clean and fully stocked. I will always stop at Tommy's when I visit L.A.😋🍔🍟

They sell the best chiliburger you ever ate. Very courteous service, clean place and awesome chili burger . Not much more I can add to that except if you are in Cali you HAVE to try one, also if you go to this particular location say hi to abuelito (grandpa), he works the burgers and everyone refers to him like that, he is a very nice guy. 😊

Tommy's has been there for me growing up and til this day, they're making the same delicious Chili Burgers. If you're from LA then you know for sure. Tommy's chili burgers are what LA loves. If you follow them on IG, you can see when they have specials on Chili Burgers and Fries only exclusive to IG followers. Not advertised any where else.

Staff was friendly and helpful in explaining each food choice. Believe me we had questions. However they no longer had shakes :( I couldnt finish my chili dog & They wrapped it up and bagged for me, they get a big thumbs up. Loved the cheerful atmosphere.

It has been YEARS since I had Tommy's! I used to go consistently when I was working in DTLA and our director would take us there for a yummy team lunch, resulting us coming back to the office with food coma. BF had a hankering for some Tommy's, which we both haven't had in a long while, so we drove to our nearest one in Monrovia. I still remember food OD'ing with both the chili burger and the chili fries so I was hesitant to order the same again, but BF convinced me that we got this. So we ordered a chili cheeseburger (with no pickles), double chili cheeseburger (with no pickles, no mustard, and extra onions), and chili fries. We both love that there was a graphic at the register of what's in a typical burger so you can quickly and easily modify your order. Food was out in a reasonable amount of time and we enjoyed it back home. While we would've loved to have more chili on the fries and we remembered the burgers bursting with chili back then (maybe it's less due to costs nowadays), it still hit the spot. We weren't too food comatose afterwards, so that's a plus (or minus if you think of it on the other side of the coin). We're eyeing their breakfast burrito (available all day and comes with chili) and their breakfast sandwich next! They have their own parking lot, so it's not too hard to get a spot. Decent amount of seating indoors too.

I’m reminded why I only eat here once a year—- the chili is very greasy. You need to go with someone who knows CPR just in case the grease stops your heart. The food was served hot. A big plus. Fries were freshly made. See you next year!

A pleasant visit from an out of towner with a solid Chilli cheese burger, warm tasty fries and a cool dine in experience with friendly staff. This maybe the best burger chain in Cali, but it's safe to say that's up for debate with In and Out. The young lady taking my order had trouble getting it right, I had to repeat it four times before she finally did. When my order arrived, it was missing two burgers. I used to love Tommy’s chili when they really drenched the food in it, but it’s definitely not the same anymore. To make things worse, several tables were dirty even though the place wasn’t busy, and the bathroom, let’s just say it clearly needed attention. It’s not what it used to be. I’m not sure if I’ll be back, and if I do, it’ll probably only be once or twice a year.

Great chili, as expected. I was mostly happy with my chili dog, but the tomato was hard, tasteless and inedible. I just refused a soda refill in a SMALLER cup !? How much can a cup cost that made me edit this review from 4 to 2 stars ? Recommended, for the chili, at least.

I ordered the two double California classic cheeseburgers in the amount of $5.70 each and I asked to make it a combo that should only be an additional charges of $6.10 for each combo. However I requested if I can have cheese fries. Suddenly I was charged an enormous total amount of $29.11. So I asked them how can They came up with that total while it stated in ur billboard $6.10 for additional fries and drink. Then they said because of the cheese fries. So I said forget it just make it a regular combo for $6.10 each. Then the total was still $24.11. So I said there’s only a little difference on the amount so just let it go and just do the 2 cheese fries. The cheese fries I was complaining about it because there were only a little cheese on top of the fries and they charged $4.60 for each fries. The women working there told me we’re not adding more cheese to the fries. That was a horrible dine in experience I had at this place.
