Chipotle

Friendly staff. Good food. Fast Service. Always consistent. However, had to rate a 4 at this particular location because the guacamole was brown. Not something I have experienced at other locations.

Food is made good and service is well. The only thing that concerns me is the ceiling is coming undone near the area that you have to pay. It makes me wonder does any debris fall into the food prep area. Hopefully this gets taken care of very soon.

So to start, everything was good. But the truly awesome thing was the chips. They are like lime infused or something but they taste so good with the salty limey flavor. I love it, I haven't been to Chipotle in years, but I might start going back more just for their chips. My one critique is to try and even out the beans and rice more.

I love this place for a super Fast lunch that is far more healthy than a drive through. Large portions, at a resonable price. Would be a five star if they'd rotate in something different now and again. I eat there so often, I'm kinda getting burned out on the static menu.

It's Ok! - it used to be great. - Not sure if it's just me but lately Chipotle has become a bit pricey. If you want to eat let's say a bowl with chips, guac and a soda (not even ordering a beer), you'll be paying near to $15.00 and every time I go there, they serve you less rice and less meat. I remember that couple of years ago, I couldn't even finish my bowl and now I finished it all, and obviously I noticed that the portions are less. - About this Chipotle, the place is clean and the staff is friendly and there is plenty of parking nearby.

Ahhh CMG.. I'll let the past remain there. Couple of things.. Look, your minimalist, elemental menu structure was cool in the 90's. It's dated now and boring. Also... Pony up for some better air conditioning for your employees. Every one of them on the service line had heavy beads of sweat dripping off their faces as they were preparing food. Really, gross. Company had a lot of momentum at one time. Seems they've lost their vision.

The line for dine in was really long and there wasn't a lot of people working. Alot of people ended up leaving the line and going to the McDonald's across the street😭the people working were mainly teens so I understood why the service was slow.

This one is too hit or miss. My go to is a bowl with barbacoa and its just too random on whether or not its a bowl with protein or a bowl of rice and beans. I thought the bowl of rice and beans was an anomaly and not the norm but I was wrong.

I have never seen my local chipotle this dirty. The customer service was good, the food ok but the restaurant they should feel embarrassed. I was scared to go to the restroom. I just pray they do better.

This is first time at this one small tight location, 5 people in store i making food. Line all the way out the door. Had much smaller portions than the 3 I usually frequent by my home.

This location is extremely dirty. The service was unfriendly and extremely slow. The tortillas were touching the preperation surface rather than the aluminum foil. I have been to other locations and I observed the employees double the amount of foil sheets as to prevent cross contamination. The burritos were poorly assembled and inconsistently filled. I refuse to pay for a poorly assembled product and terrible service, we immediately walked out. My family and I will not be returning, there are better options in the area.

I'm not a fan of the food already. "Mexican Grill " is kind of a disgrace. The food is cold, always. And it's so loud, you have to repeat yourself, and they have to repeat themselves, and they still get it wrong. I consider it a "Mexican Subway", only Subway is usually good and is actually healthy. On a positive note: the guacamole is rather delicious.

This Chipotle in this specific location compared to the others are soooo stingy with their meat. Even their rice and beans. I paid $96 to feed 5 people, including me. The burritos were small and disappointing, and the bowls were hardly even bowls. I will never come back here and make sure I tell my friends and family.

Online orders are stolen regularly. Chipotle should have a verification system so people don't keep stealing orders. Can't imagine how much money y'all lose.

Been coming here for years. Food is great. At this location their serving size has become significantly smaller, like children size. My bowl was less than halfway filled. I wouldn’t mind how much they serve but it is pricey so why get less.

UPDATE: This location has fallen off bad no longer going to this location small portions bad customer service and prices stay the same or higher................ Been to this Chipotle a few times now and always had a good/fast service. Honestly, I always get the same steak burrito with black beans, white rice and almost all of the extra goodness they offer(cheese, sour cream, guac, etc.) Always on point, well proportioned, and so far a happy customer. Keep it up don't let me down now...

The food was good, I actually really enjoyed it. What I didn’t enjoy, which is not the companies fault, is an employee who happily ate her meal and then proceeded to ruin mine by smoking her cigarette in the outside dining area. Am I wrong in assuming smoking in a dining establishment is a big NO?

My worst experience i have ever had. I love chipotle but today when i went to chipotle i orderd a burrito and usual its a decent size but today it legit was the smallest burrito i have ever had. the one dollar frozen burritos at the Walmart are bigger. I ordered a burrito not a street taco. And then management just looked and said nothing. My worst experience ever. i will never be returning to this location again.

I just got a bowl from Chipotle the women there are disgusting I don't know if it's mandatory to wear hair nets but it should be, I got hair in my food and i just got home. Smh disgusting

This place have gotten worse. Very small portions now, food not as tasty as before, some of the young kids working there seemed to hate it. Overall very poor quality. I'm local, I've been around this places often. Hope they get better. As for me and my family we are not coming back to this location.

Montclair's will be very rich because the staffs are serving the food very small portion to do cost down. Low Sale, Hi Profit? Congrats!!! I like Chipotle's but never back again to Monclair's.

Unbelievable, you walk into the restaurant and there is no meat at all. They were barely cooking the steak. Knowing that they have people waiting.. Not good. Service not good at all.

Food was super cold 🥶 !! Took my buddy to eat for her birthday bc she had never eaten there b4! Unfortunately the entire meal was cold. Btw we didn’t order and cold items on top since aladding lettuce, tomatoes and cheese, could possibly make the food colder so we ended up asking for it on the side. we ate about three bites of food and decided to leave so that we could finish our day and possibly our meal at home once it was heated. The time of day was approximately 3:16 PM January 21 so make sure you check your food before you leave the counter for heat.

I got the saddest looking bowl today. The message of portions on what a traditional bowl looks like isn't being passed down or expressed clearly enough to the person actually handling the food. If the importance of portions isn't being passed down to the lowest ranking, then how can you achieve a winning group with happy customers and store success.

From my experience most of the Chipotles are good but the one next to the Montclair plaza is horible. They were out if chicken and regular meat and were worry about the guacamole being out instead of refilling the meat. You can even see the meat and chicken on cutting bored getting cold but they were not cutting it. They also grabbed chips for kids chip bags out of the regular chip bags they then gave us the regular chip bag with about 20-28 chips and refused to give us a new one. There seating area also smelt like the bathroom. Also most of the inside seats were dirty and they did not empty there trash cans trash was falling out of them🤢🤮. They were also very messy drink area was very wet and food had other food like corn and onions and other stuff in them.the last thing is they go super slow on filling up your bowl or burrito I also stated that I want chips and a drink more than about 7 times. I would not recommend you going here since they are very bad and slow. This is what my experience is at least.

Ordered the chicken salad. Then they said steak? No, I would like chicken. Paid for my meal, and went home. Then I looked at the receipt and noticed I was charged for a steak salad bowl. I never opened the food up. I just took it back. Said I was charged for steak when I wanted chicken.. But I never opened the food. So because of the mistake. I gave it back and got my money back. It's not rocket science people.

Portions at this place keep getting smaller and smaller. Got barely any guac on my burrito last time I went. Why scoop a regular size scoop of guac and then proceed to bang half of it back in like they grab to much every time, dumbest thing. Then you end up gettting this this tiny little bit when you have to pay extra for it. Chicken is the only protein that's still good, steak has been questionable for a long time.

I asked her for the chips, and she tossed them in the bag and walked away without a word. I asked one of the guys for salsa. Burrito was made by one of the guys. Oh, and I waited for the two guys and the girl to finish their conversation before ordering. Not coming back.

However, when I open my bowl I had last been a regular serving which I will never order pick up again because I feel they would add less meat to your bowl especially if you’re not seeing how much meat they supposed to add I don’t mind paying extra. However, if I pay extra, I would like to get my double meat.

Then another guy came up and started cleaning the line, no greeting or glance on my direction. After a few more minutes I said, hello can somebody help me? I've been standing there. The guy immediately got sarcastic and rude. He said oh I'm cleaning the line. I said okay and I've been standing here and the least you can do is say hello and greet me. He made this very sarcastic face and rolled his eyes then smiled very dramatic and said. "Hi, want me to leave the line dirty so I can help you?" Rude as hell and unprofessional. I left.

I don’t understand how staff can’t have white rice and chicken ready, right before 12pm lunch rush hour. Me and 2 other people had to wait for chicken to be ready, I was able to get the bottom scraps of white rice rice.

The rice in my bowl were uncooked the rice is supposed to be warm but was like it was in the fridge I usually like chipotle but this location is really bad if you are coming here you might as well go to another location

I picked up a burrito and a bowl there today and it was the worst experience. The employee assembling the food didn’t acknowledge me until I had been there for several minutes and then he made our food while rolling his eyes and acting annoyed that we were there. I could forgive the rudeness honestly because we all have bad days but in an effort to get us out quicker he was making multiple burritos at once and wasn’t paying attention which led to him putting a heaping ladle full of the hottest salsa you offer on my burrito. I didn’t want to piss him off further by asking him to remake it because I’m sensitive to spicier foods, but honestly when I got home I could barely making it through a quarter of it before having to throw it away because it was too spicy for me. He also didn’t wrap the burrito correctly so by the time I hit that quarter finished the salsa had seeped to the bottom of the burrito and made the tortilla soggy and the whole thing just feel apart. This is frustrating because I didn’t do anything to warrant his frustration and I think he was just having a bad day, but maybe management needs to be more aware of when they’re employees are having an off day or are burnt out and rectify the situation before they take it out on guests.
