BEEF SOUP Before the pandemic, this dish was delicious. But today when I went, I got a soup that was already overcooked. It tasted very garlicky, which isn't a problem for me because I like garlic. I ordered the large soup and they served me a generous portion of beef, which was very tender. I felt like it was missing vegetables: corn, green beans, chayote. It only had beef, potatoes, cabbage, lots of carrots, and hardly any squash. It's not what it used to be. It's acceptable. But I'll keep searching for the best beef soup.

The pork in mole sauce was delicious, and the beans were tasty. The rice lacked flavor and consistency; I didn't enjoy it as much. It's nice that they include some lettuce and tomato. I suggest they include a lime with the lettuce. The tortillas and tostadas weren't great, but it's appreciated that they were included. The beef broth was bland. I had to add salt and a few spoonfuls of the green salsa from the table, which wasn't very flavorful. Also, the broth only came with one small lime, and in my opinion, broths need more limes because it gets too diluted in the water. Potatoes always overpower the flavor, and in this broth, there was more potato than meat, and the little meat it did have was mostly gristle. The place is quiet; you can linger at your table for a while after eating as long as you're not full. The price was neither low nor high, just average. The portion size was also average. If they served more of the main stew and less rice, I would have given them 4 stars, and if the beef broth was good, I would have given them 5.

Estaba antes el dueño y todo estaba rico, el personal refiriéndose a las que meserean y cocineras que estan ahorita muy mala presentación, con chanclas y sus pies muy desaseados... Ha bajado calidad de su comida y de servicio, ya no me gusta

Hi, I wanted to buy a small menudo, without meat, just the broth, and I had to cancel because they were going to charge me the full price ($95). Personally, I think it's a rip-off, especially since it was a small portion and just broth. I've ordered it that way in many places, and they usually give it to me for half price or even cheaper. I wouldn't go back; I don't recommend it based on my experience. Beware of their customer service!

Excellent service but the food leaves much to be desired, the beef broth had too much garlic and the gorditas lacked salt.

Mi esposo compro una comida del día milanesa de res empanizada con arroz y frijoles, los frijoles sabían mal y la milanesa estaba tostada Yo compré una enchiladas suisas y traían aguacate 🥑🤮 esas no son enchiladas suizas y el arroz está duro como plástico La verdad no lo recomiendo

Hello! About half an hour ago I placed a delivery order from "Hugo's Kitchen." It gave me the total cost and I paid by card, but after charging me, it says I don't have any order, even though I already paid. I've called them and they don't answer. I don't know how to get my money back.

I just bought some beef broth. It smells sour and rotten. The lemons and rice that came with it had the same nauseating smell. It's disgusting. I also ordered a shredded beef burrito, and that one was edible. First and last time I eat at this place.
