Eataitaly in the Langhe! Yes, You'll find the excellence and quality of Italian products. It's a real surprise to find this famous shop and restaurant, just past Alba on the way to Bra, half an hour from Cuneo. You'll find many excellent Italian products and a wide selection of wines and sparkling wines from every region of Italy. Both the restaurant and bar offer a variety of delicious specialties. The staff is professional and friendly. The bakery department is excellent, with superb bread and focaccia. It's worth stopping by at any time of day, whether for breakfast, lunch, a snack, or dinner... any occasion is a good one for a taste experience!

I've been frequenting Eataly in Monticello d'Alba for years, buying their fantastic wood-fired bread, delicious white focaccia, and red pizza, as well as their wide selection of wines and beers, and Gragnano pasta in various shapes. We often stop for a light lunch because of the excellent quality of the food, both traditional Piedmontese and southern Italian. It's a joy to savor the fantastic first courses, perhaps with fish sauce, cooked by talented young chefs in the open-view kitchen. It's an ideal place for a business lunch, but also a Sunday lunch with a limited menu, a selection of high-quality first and second courses, prepared by young, well-trained and passionate chefs, and served by efficient and friendly staff. Despite being inside a supermarket with open spaces, the use of wood and an attractive design make the dining area pleasant and warm, complemented by the many wines on sale. In the evening, there's only the option of aperitivo with a wide selection of pizzas and focaccias, closing at 8:00 PM. Yesterday, we had a fantastic legume minestrone with cavolo nero and pumpkin, enriched with salted ricotta, delicious, and a pasta dish topped with unforgettable fresh red tuna. Great Italian wines are available on rotation, including by the glass. The price of wine, even a single glass, is not cheap; however, since it's in the wine region, they could offer bulk whites and reds for simpler occasions. A highly recommended place, both for business lunches and for lunch on holidays or the day before holidays. The prices, while not cheap, are fair for the quality, quantity, presentation, and flavor, and for the excellent table service. Optimal service times allow you to enjoy fantastic dishes at the perfect time. Definitely worth a try.

I like the quality at Eataly, and this restaurant (and store) confirms my opinion. The veal with tuna sauce is excellent, and the fried Avezzano potatoes are amazing! Everything was perfect.

Io vengo a Monticello da con RCA 15 anni. Il personale è sempre gentile. Non posso esprimere lo stesso giudizio per il menù. Mancano alcuni piatti tipo la tagliata di vitello, il coniglio cotto a bassa temperatura, ecc. Ho trovato, purtroppo, un appiattimento e mi dispiace. Non so se tornerò

Today we went shopping to Eataly Monticello and, as it was lunch time, we decided to stay there. What a bad choice! Starting with the wine, we asked for a half a bottle of a dry white. They served us a Gavi 2019 (4 years too old!), impossible to drink. Then I ordered tagliatelle Cracco: they only tasted lemon, poor Carlo! My husband had "spezzatino": half well cooked, half raw, who knows why? We spent 56.80 Euros. P.S. Last but not least toilets are awful

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff is kind and polite, and the coffee is terrible—bad, really bad. Acidic, bitter, burnt—maybe it's the blend (Vergnano) used, or the careless grinding, or the poorly calibrated coffee machine—but what should be a pleasure is actually unpleasant. It's incredible how in Italy, supposedly the home of coffee, and especially at Eataly, which prides itself on being a must-see for the quality of its products, something as simple as making a good coffee isn't something to be taken for granted. In fact... it's a shame, it wouldn't take much, more attention and more professionalism both in choosing the blend and in the process of making a "good" coffee. We often take it for granted that making coffee is a trivial task, when in fact it's an art!

It's been a long time (about 3 years) since I've eaten there. The quality has dropped dramatically (the trio of appetizers was freezing cold, the hummus was very runny, and the chicken in the salad was not only sparse but also dried out). Given the decidedly high prices, you can find much better in the area. What a shame!
