This location was clean! The staff was patient, friendly, and attentive to detail. We arrived an hour before closing with a group of six people. The sandwiches were deviously prepared with the freshest ingredients. 🥪😋 #CleanLocation #FriendlyStaff #DeliciousSandwiches

The employees at this restaurant are CONSTANTLY busy; no matter how busy they are, they maintain amazing customer service and food quality/safety. This branch, in particular, is probably the best "fast food" and has the best staff in Montrose! Give everybody a raise <3
Made three orders on the Safeway app and they had everything correct. Had it done by the time we came by and made our experience go well for us. There is a really friendly lady that was very nice to us and helped us with anything we needed.
The food was great and the service was excellent. We just visited tonight and I was trying to get my phone switched from one service provider to another. I was on the phone for over an hour, and my son and partner were getting bored. They stared goofing off and the staff made it even better. The guys were patient and fun too! They made us feel welcome and shared some laughs with us. It was a great experience. You're never disappointed when we go by Subway in Montrose, but tonight was something special!
Amazing! I went in at a little after 1:00, and while standing in line, struck up a conversation with a very lovely and giving young lady named Candace. She wound up paying for my salad too! See Montrose, there are still some amazing people out there. You just gotta let your guard down, and don't be afraid to talk to folks! And my salad was awesome!

I'm wondering when they got new management. The last few times I've been in, the Service was Awesome. Even when I made a mistake on the POS for a tip. I accidentally tipped more than the meals. When I went back, they refunded my card within 3 days after I was told that it would be longer. Y'all are doing great 💯. I will recommend y'all to everyone.

On a good lunch day the wait is 16-20 minutes to get your food. The portion control is generally pretty good depending between new staff and old staff. Depending on if they know you and they don't, something I dont care for. The staff are generally friendly and the restaurant is always clean. Food quality is on par for Subway.
My sandwich wasn't fully toasted and soggy 5 minutes after leaving. And the kids working talked WAY too fast and quiet, the 1 girl needed to slow herself way down; fast is not always good and you definitely don't get irritated with a customer the 1, couldn't hear you and 2, couldn't understand you because you were talking at super-speed.

Have been there twice. First time I ordered a Chicken Teriyaki. Arriving home there was no Teriyaki sauce on it, only blend chicken. When I called and asked why, I was told I didn't ask for Teriyaki saus. Lesson learned. This time I ordered Tuna and asked which saus goes best with Tuna. Deer in the headlights. Oh no you decide. Since I couldn't read the names on the saus bottles I thought to make it easy: What would you put on it. "Me, I don't eat that stuff. Tuna is disgusting and stinks. " 🤣🤣🤣👌🏼👌🏼✋🏿😂😂 Bonne petit. Enjoy your sandwich!!!
The person who took my order was GREAT. The next person who put the veggies on my order was GREAT. The manager at the register was completely UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE. It was a really good experience until paying for the order when the advertised deal wouldn't ring in correctly and the manager continued to smack at the register say she didn't know how to honor the advertisement. Then she preceded to tell me I got things for free when I asked to make sure I got my receipt to contact the company headquarters and that I didn't need to express myself to them. I didn't ask for anything for free only that the advertised deal be honored.
Worker who helped us was good and he was the only one helping us. Everyone else was walking around looking busy when they really wasn't. Even after we paid for our meals the man who helped us was making sandwiches for several other customers while other workers didn't seem to care to help him out. Shelves weren't r ally stocked w chips and the cups where spilling over n the holders. Soda fountain machine area wasn't clean and soda was spilled all over. Some tables weren't clean either.
The service here has repeatedly gone downhill. The food is great, they just need good help. The ladies that work there are great.
Have to give a mark down review I love subway have a coupon get 2 footlongs expiration. November 8th 2025 for 12.99. 2 ham and turkey lettuce tomato pickle 1 with American cheese. No ad ons. coupon worked saying that came out to $20.98. Not including tip.

I love Subway, I go there every day for lunch, same sandwich same drink, same potato chips. a few months ago, one of the women who work there that I never had an issue with has decided it is ok to lecture me if I have a single problem with any one working in the store. She has become loud and obnoxious, when I try to explain what the problem was she just speaks over the top of me. Today The girl making my sandwich was way more interested in the people coming in and out of the store, her friends, stopping to talk, make heart gestures with her hands, I tried several times to get her attention as she missed what I wanted on the sandwich, then she dumped the whole sandwich in the bin of cheese. When I said (to myself) maybe if you would pay attention you would not have these issues the other gal, who was watching me said loudly" We are all doing the best we can, we are all doing the best we can". I have more compassion than most I have worked this industry and I know how trying people can be, but if you are not going to pay attention to your customers, then do not lecture me about doing the best you can.
It would have been appropriate for the manager, who wasn’t wearing his mask properly over his nose, to not criticize the new employee in front of customers. It also is a manager’s job to guide new hires so they learn- not put them down. We will be walking out if we see you behind the counter again- shame - respect your fellow humans.
None of the people working there actually read online orders, they just throw stuff together. How do you get a sandwich wrong? Just read the receipt!
Placed an order online and still got it wrong. Went in to get it fixed and they still got it wrong. If things are written down on a ticket how can you get an order wrong? Especially for items you pay extra for they should be very cautions about that and refund people if they don’t have items instead of adding something else. Food isn’t cheap.
Horrible experience was in line took forever and we get in the middle of the order and the line just jumps 2 people ahead of us and they don’t even check our stuff out rite. charged for a sandwich I didn’t even order and couldn’t make the two sandwiches correct now I know why I go to Jimmy John’s.
Waited 50 minutes for two sandwiches when I ordered online. They waited on all 7 customers while I just sat there. What a joke. Guy with dark hair and mustache didn’t even offer cookie or cup to make it up. Lady gave us two cookies after telling her we waited 50 minutes right after he said no.
I don’t understand how they stay open! They don’t answer the phone, never get an online order correct and the app says they’re out of everything!! No wonder all the other sandwich shops do so much better!!
This place is in shambles, the past 2 times I have been here its been a cluster. The wait is ridiculous. The so called manager (a woman from Kansas) was talking over customers, not listening, just doing whatever she wants. Not a good experience at all, very disappointed
We ordered online last night. We didn’t even get our sandwiches toasted like we asked for. I also ordered a buffalo chicken wrap all they did was drizzle the buffalo sauce on top when I opened it the chicken was plain and didn’t even have everything I asked for. Lazy is all I can say. Do better.
I'm a delivery person who was recently harassed at subway due to mistaken identity. The general manager was verbally abusive to me as I attempted to pick up. I have no contract violations. This means every order I've picked up has been delivered. I'm a platinum level delivery person. Unacceptable behavior

I ordered delivery through the subway app. They put banana peppers on my sandwich. This wouldn’t be an issue if I wasn’t allergic. I tried calling the store 3 times to get a refund with no answer. Thanks for making me waste my money guys.
I wouldn't eat here unless you have an hour to waste standing in line. and once you finally get to the counter they will tell you it's gonna be a minute cause they have a bunch of doordash orders. I will never go back I left without even getting any food I couldn't wait any longer.
Update 6/13: didn't think this review/experience could get worse. I know you're struggling for help, like everyone else in town. But why do you hire the most idiotic sandwich builders??? The older lady that's been there for years is great!!! But the two guys that were working tonight need some serious help and training. They are slow, unorganized, can't make a basic sandwich and need to learn how to listen to the customer Cannot seem to get a correctly made sandwich when placing an online order. Have had something messed up on EVERY online order I've ever made. I'm really tired of spending the money, going home/back to work only to find out I don't have what I asked for and I can't fix it now
Place used to be great when Tracey ran it. This new manager has no idea what she's doing. The two guys making our sandwiches were so high they couldn't comprehend what they weete doing. One of them couldn't tell the difference between teriyaki sauce and mayonnaise. When he put a bit on my sandwich I told him that's not what I asked for and he froze up. Had to tell him to pinch the lettuce between his fingers to get it off the sandwich and throw it away before putting mayonnaise on. Won't be wasting my money here again.
General manager is the rudest person on the planet. If shes so miserable quit. The rest of the staff is great! They are always out of everything. Veggies sauces. The store is gross and filthy. I will never go back until the management changes and someone does somthing to make this store somewhere worth eating. Jimmy johns across the street will get my money from now on.
Several people were standing around in the back while one person was helping customers, building a long line, until one of them finally said "I'll help if you don't want to". Then, instead of saying they were out of Baja Chipotle, they just put Southwest Chipotle on my sandwich. And to top it all off, they literally smashed the bread flat. I didn't get flatbread, that picture is of Italian Herbs and Cheese with the life squeezed out of it. Skip this place, go to Jimmy John's right across the street

You might pay more but go to Heidi's Brooklyn Deli just a few miles south because that is where you will get a better sandwich, better ingredients and accurately customized to what you want with much better customer service.

Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich chips and Pepsi. Received tuna sandwich no chips no drink. Stuck at work cannot get it corrected
Went on vacation and while on vacation we were looking at the menu and didn’t order anything. We got back home and ordered food and sent it to the wrong location (to this location). They didn’t answer their phone! We called 10x. The app will not let you cancel your order! Spend $21 I will not get back unless my bank disputes it. Yes sending it to the wrong location was my fault but they should be picking up the phone. We have 4 subways in my small town and they don’t have this issue at all.
They constantly scam here. If you order online they will not give you everything you PAY for. This is the 4th time we didn't get double meat and we paid almost $4 dollars more for it! They won't answer your call because they know they're messing up. Last time we did get a call through the kid said, in their defense, "well, we got the first sandwich right..." put of 4 sandwiches it was the only one they got right. Don't waste your money.
The manger here (M-20/30) is very rude, inappropriate, unprofessional and was yelling. We spent $62 here for lunch, two meals, paid and ate our sandwiches. With our unopened bags of chips on the table, the manger came up to us and starting accusing us of stealing the chips. After giving back the up-opened chips he started yelling and continuously accusing us when we haven’t even left the store. We got up and started walking to the door as he follows us. After the glass door closed behind us, I could still hear him from outside. We left without what we paid for. He is very rude and inconsiderate for not only us as customers who WERE NOT in the wrong but for the elders and children around us as well. By the end of our interaction with the manger, I was in tears. As long as he is employed there we will not go back.

If the same 2 people are working again next time I come in I will immediately leave. I’ve worked at a subway before and I know it’s not for the faint of heart but come on people. Usually subway employees are very good at greeting you when you walk in, the location I used to work at was always greet the customer. They looked busy with online orders when we walked in okay fine we can be patient… Waited for the lady in front of us. Not an issue. She gets my bread and I watch her cut it and she proceeds to rip and tear the bread instead… I was looking at my boyfriend like is this actually happening? She put the cheese on and I just couldn’t handle how it looked.. I wish I would have taken a picture. I asked nicely to get another one and the immediate attitude this girl gave me. I get disrespectful right back (can’t help it I’m 17 weeks pregnant) she doesn’t even put the cheese all the way on the bread at this point I’m ready to crash out and leave… She then tries to slide my sandwich aggressively on the cutting board and it comes off the paper 🤷🏼♀️ Chill out babe it’s not that deep. The man there “helps” the online order who walked in and he was rude as well to the pickup driver.. Holy hell. You hate working there so much you have to ruin everyone’s day who come in? Quit then. Or do better at pretending to have good customer service. I told my boyfriend we should’ve went to jimmy johns instead. Horrible service… 0/10 experience. Was craving subway so bad but I’m probably not coming back for a while lol.
