The Temple of Speed. There are no words that do a visit to this track justice. Affordable parking, free paddock entry for many race weekends throughout the year. The roar of the engines. Getting up close and personal with the teams. You can feel the pulse of motorsport in your veins.
🏁 Incredible Weekend at the International GT Open – Monza 🇮🇹 What a weekend at the International GT Open! The Monza F1 Circuit, set in beautiful wooded parkland, is truly something special — the atmosphere, the speed, and the sound are unforgettable. Even better, entry was completely free all weekend, with great access to most of the stands — including Friday practice, which is quite rare. It was amazing to experience the fastest Formula 1 circuit up close, surrounded by passionate fans and stunning scenery. We stayed at a fantastic Airbnb just 100 yards from the entrance, which made the whole trip super convenient. Highly recommend this spot if you’re planning a visit. Already can’t wait to go back next year! 🏎️💨
Went for the F1, loved it. Such a historical track. We stayed just outside Milan, and used the shuttle service, which for only 10 euro is amazing value for money. The food on offer was decent and well priced. The toilets were very clean and were constantly cleaned though the day. The race on Sunday was not that exciting, but it doesn't matter as it was about the experience, and I have to admit standing in the grandstand, when they Italian anthem was being sung was amazing.
Wonderful experience i had for the F1 GP 2025. This is one of those races ypu certainly want to have a seating ticket. General admissions do not have great views. Monza has almost NO screens to watch from different places what's happening in the whole race. The feeling with the Tifosi is like nothing you have ever felt. Awesome atmosphere
As someone who has only been to one other grandprix (Melbourne) I would say Monza is much more suited for a Grandstand experience. GA does not offer many good viewing points, unless you arrive extremely early to secure a good spot. The fan zone during the Monza GP weekend was awesome and had lots of free activities on offer. Plenty of drinking water re-fill stations.
Fantastic track for a classic formula one race. If you’re general admission or grand stand ticket holders, be prepared for an adventure of a weekend with 30k plus steps, lots of missed navigation, and an unforgettable experience seeing a sea of Ferrari fans. Definitely a life changing experience but highly recommended for a F1 fanatic!
I think the circuit speaks for itself being the current fastest racetrack on the F1 calendar. We attended the 2025 F1 race, the atmosphere was epic around the track and especially the F1 Fanzone where there was a real party vibe, it’s a great spectacle. We had great high views from LATERALE PARABOLICA 21 D on bench style seating - cramped and not comfortable for too long. Unfortunately due to its location in Monza, the track is not designed well for the transit of 10’s of 1000’s of people. We queued for nearly one hour to enter the track at Gate B on Saturday due to airport style security. Overzealous security policies confiscating WATER BOTTLES over 500ml is criminal! There were lots of water points to fill up your 500ml and below bottles. Sunday was better although getting out was another crush. There was a scaffold bridge over the road between the Fanzone and Curva Parabolica grandstands that created another pinch point in both directions and long queues. Female toilets near Fanzone were standup looking shower trays with a hole, my wife refused to use them and I saw females queue and use male toilets (don’t blame them). In contrast all the male toilets were sit down cubicles, no urinals to be seen which makes no sense. Plenty of food and drink stalls, good system in place for ordering drinks at various bars. Overall a great experience, legendary track and certainly room for improvements around toilet facilities, access and crowd control. Banning (empty) 500ml plus sized bottles is frankly ridiculous at a location where the temperature and humidity is so high.
Visited for the F1 at Monza. The views are from 6C grandstand. There was a screen opposite and there was a good view of the track. Behind the stand were stalls for food and drink, as well a row of toilet cubicals. To enter the inner circuit you have to go under the track. To get to the circuit from Milan central station you are best booking the combined ticket as this also gives you access to bus to the stadium, but it's not close for drop off, with about a 40min walk to the entrance point, and probably that again to the grandstand. On the way back it took a further 40 minutes in the queue for the bus, and 20 minutes at the station for the train on top of all the walkjng. The trains are regular but they are very crowded as we're the buses. Overall a fantastic day.
Interesting historical circuit. Did the track experience and the van was driven round the track with more enthusiasm than expected (not a negative for me, but worth noting for anyone who has motion issues). Also did the tour which took about an hour and showed you a lot of the behind the scenes areas.
Purchased tickets online for a visit while in Milano. The website is terribly inadequate and difficult to navigate. We wanted to have the behind the scenes and the van ride but the redirect to the ticketing site was extremely confusing. The directions for people visiting with public transportation (bus from main train station and on foot) are insufficient and ambiguous. It isn't clear where to go specifically. A longitude/latitude of where to check in the confirmation email would have been helpful. The site isn't clear about how to sign up for the van track ride. After attending the ~1 hour tour behind the scenes, I asked the staff about it. You need to book the "free" van ride in advance with no guarantee that it will happen. Someone will contact you on the morning of the date you booked to confirm or cancel the van ride. This is simply a terrible process and unhelpful for people visiting from out of town who will not be sitting around waiting/hoping that the van ride occurs. The badge and Monza souvenir passport from the tour experience was a nice touch. Hopefully this review is helpful for others who can enjoy the van ride that I didn't get to experience. Perhaps it will prompt conversation about updates to improve the UI/UX of the site and/or the ticketing.
The worst experience of my life. I’m a die hard Ferrari f1 fan and was so bloody excited to go this year (2025) but between the absolute confusion and horrendous traffic, the lack of direction and the pure chaos of the event… I would never recommend this race or track to anyone. Drink and chill at a cafe or at home rather than going to this race.
It took soooooooooo long to walk from the parking lot, even the closest one. There’s no shuttle. It’s probably a close a mile away. Lots of local Italian exciting fans. I don’t like how they set up the seating, fan zone, food, games, music, shops, walking paths, outdated bathrooms, etc. This track is spacious for the drivers, but nothing special for the viewers. I won’t return here though we love F1. I suppose you can helicopter in, that would be better????
