Went to the new Country Waffels today. A little bit of a wait about 25 mins to get in. Service was good a bit of wait(very busy), but not too bad. Good was great, my wife had the Florentine eggs Benedict very tasty and I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was crispy yet tender. Price was very reasonable. We will go back.

What a surprise! We thought this restaurant would be like a “Denny’s” but were completely impressed. We’ve been twice now, and both times the food and the service were great at this family owned restaurant. The garden omelette was delicious, and the American Potatoes were outstanding. Everything we had was very good and we will definitely go back regularly.

I scanned the QR code for the menu and ordered, but what i ordered wasn't on the physical menu. And they made the dish anyway. They could've just said, 'oh, sorry'. First time here and we will be back. I wanted to try the Waffles and also ordered the Joe Omelette which was splendid. The facility used to be a Sizzlers Restaurant, and they had to close down because of the nasty COVID back in 2019. Reyna was our waitress, and she was excellent and professional and courteous in her service. The coffee was nice and hot. The Blue Berry waffle was yum yum! ¡¡Muy Bueno!! The pancakes were also a hit with my lady. She enjoyed the fluffy and consistency in the batter made the pancakes proper for the belly and the palate. The facility was nice and big inside. A lot of room and they even had an extra room in the back section for private parties or meetings for any companies that wanted this restaurant as a company event. The place is in Morgan Hill California 18 miles south of San Jose and enjoyed finding something different in another town. They close at 2pm so they are open for breakfast and lunch. The food was EXCELLENT!!

I had the FREE stack of pancakes offered every Tuesday & Thursday if you follow Country Waffles - Morgan Hill on Facebook and show the Facebook post - Dine In Only. I also had the yummy bacon and an egg with coffee, of course. I've eaten at Country Waffles before their food is very good. The prices are reasonable. The service is great. It is clean, friendly and a very nice atmosphere. Silly me, I took pictures of everything except the food.

Excellent cervice! Love their omelettes., my favorite, the garden omelette. Suggestion: We entered the restaurant thru a side door because we thought it looked like an entrance. An exit sign and an arrow pointing at the entrance door would be nice. Thank you!

Like every good place they are busy. But once you get serviced man they are good. Got the border scramble and it was awesome Spicy but awesome.

Pleasure as always. Solid food and service. Edit: if you want to try something new, try getting a western burger and substitute the burger for a chicken fried steak. Then add Tabasco. You won't regret it.

Super yummy banana foster waffle. Glad I didn't do the combo because this was really filling. Just 1 waffle but large and made me full. The flavors were so yummy.

Great food, awesome and friendly server's. I highly recommend the hangover plate! I get the hangover plate even when I haven't drank in a few weeks, still delicious and filling! I can eat and I normally have enough leftover to bring home a snack for later!

This is a nice place to eat. It is simple yet tasty and satisfying. If you are looking for a diner for any time of the day I recommend country waffles. The establishment is clean and welcoming, new interior that looks like modern country. The servers are polite and make sure you get all you need.

Great Food, great Service and a Beautiful Place !!! I ordered " The Hangover Omelette" and I can safely say that it was the best decision I made all day !! The Omelette was delicious and totally hit the spot !! Food was brought up in a timely manner by a very courteous and professional staff. Country Waffles , Morgan Hill is a very rustic and modern looking place with plenty of spacious and comfortable Booth style seating which gives lots of privacy and is great for Covid distancing. To top it all they have a nice Juke Box to play your music while you enjoy your meal. Another thing that we really liked about the place is that they have touchless payment method where you can just scan QR code on your ticket and pay your bill with the your phone. Felt totally safe eating there and I must say that Management and Staff did an awesome job. Will surely be going back soon !!!

Yummy breakfast. I had a plain waffle which was light and fluffy with 2 eggs om, cooked perfectly. My sis had Eggs Benedict which looked delicious and it was. Waitresses are very cheery and friendly. Will go here again when I come back to MH.

Happy to have more breakfast places in this area. Had the meat lovers omelette with pancakes and it was delicious. My kids loved the waffles. Service was great as well! I highly recommend this place for breakfast any morning!

First time coming here took the parents out for breakfast here love the dessert and the way they made these eggs everything was perfect parents loved it we enjoyed everything we recommend coming here for breakfast with your family members or friends very good place to eat!!!

I loved this place. The food was delicious and the service was incredibly attentive. I ordered the Irish Benedict, and it was amazing. The Hollandaise was delicious and the egg was poached perfectly. My friends and I also tried a few of the waffle dishes and all left with the same feeling; that we would be back and we would recommend it to others. On top of the food and service, I was especially impressed with their cleanliness and social distance measures. Gave me peace of mind going inside a restaurant for the first time in almost a year.

Country Waffles is a new addition to Morgan Hill. Our family were glad that we dined at this location recently. The remodel of the building and the interior decor is amazing. They have a banquet room that was a well thought idea and great for holding meetings and private events. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Menu offers a variety of breakfast, lunch dinner items. We had the waffle and chicken specialty and tried some of the omelets. Overall, the food was awesome , service was excellent and restaurant was beautiful and clean. Definitely recommend everyone to try this new eatery.

We really had a great time here. The service was fast and great. And the food was really tasty and not too heavy contrary to what I was expecting. They have a great kids menu. And overall lovely well decorated clean space with a cozy ambiance. We loved it. Will certainly come back again!

New favorite spot for breakfast and lunch. Can't wait for them to be open for dinner. My son loves the chicken strips he thinks they have the best! I loved their banana fosters waffles, the Cristo-which, southern fried chic-which and the Swedish crepes. For lunch my favorite is the California Burger with fries (I love the seasoning on the fries). The place is super cute and they have friendly staff. I love the quality of their meals. They got really tasty breakfast potatoes and fries. For drinks I recommend the hot chocolate. This is a great place to bring the family or friends. I highly recommend it. I think because it is a fairly new restaurant in this location it is very clean. The staff is also on the new side but very attentive. The food was excellent. We were there for breakfast. The pancakes were large, tasty and fluffy. I couldn't finish the 2nd one. My friend had a two egg dish with a side of hash browns. First time here. I'm not from this area ...so we were visiting our friend and she suggested this place. We had breakfast there. Didn't have to wait long in line. We had a small group. We ordered and got our food pretty quick. Food was yummy ....but we special ordered a order of extra crispy hashbrowns..it came extra crispy but hardly anything on the plate. We had to order another order of the something and the Waitress handed me a plate and didn't warn me it was hot before I grabbed it. Thank God I didn't get a blister from the hot plate. Other then that it was good.

This restaurant was amazing! Super clean! Very friendly! Amazing food! I was seated as soon as I got in and was asked if I would like something to drink. I opted in for a mimosa which was delicious! Aj was very kind an made sure everything was going well. I had the chicken and waffles. Man they were delicious! Nice and crispy and tender inside. Not dry at all! The waffle was nice and fluffy I loved it! There are not comparable breakfast places in morgan hill like this one! I 100% will be back. Try the place out! You will be glad you did!

This restaurant has great waffles but it is so much more than a waffle house. Everybody that was with me and ordered waffles loved them and they had a large assortment of waffles and pancakes. I loved all the options for omelettes and scrambles. I had a really tasty meat lover scramble and they even dressed it up with fresh salsa and avocado as options. The servers were very attentive and brought condiments and all the extras that we asked for to make it a wonderful breakfast. They even have a private room in the back with a projection TV for business meetings. I will definitely be back!

Love the "cleanliness" of their food. The benedicts are really good and I really like their country potatoes --cooked just right with a bit of fresh onion. Nothing tastes frozen or pre-made. Even loved their potato salad and Patty melt!!

Great spot for a tasty, and affordable breakfast. It’s a family safe place, with some kid friendly options on the menu. I usually order the Corned Beef Hash Benedict, or French Toast personally. The atmosphere is calm overall. Not really rowdy or loud. If you want a quick and affordable breakfast this is one of the best places in town for that.

They offer a dinner menu but close at 2pm? Hmm....

I loved eating here I went with my mom,niece,and daughter.our waitress was Kelly she was so amazing,friendly,and kind. She brought such a great vibe, loved her energy! She made this place feel like home. Overall I would recommend.

This used to be a Sizzler's - you can kind of work out how it was set up if you look hard, and are old enough to remember. I think there are a couple of better places to eat in Morgan Hill, but this place is clean, organized and has a friendly helpful staff. I love the breakfast potatoes - sliced and pan fried. The omelets and egg scrambled dishes are good as well. I've only been here for breakfast.

We recently visited for the first time. Spacious and open dining area. comfortable spaced tables and music at a pleasant level. Probably the cleanest restaurant we’ve ever eaten, even the restroom was spotless. Wait staff was pleasant, neat, composed, and graciously seated us. We had senior breakfast, but not waffles. Food was okay similar to I-Hop, hash browns a little too oily for my liking- I prefer butter. The sausage was good, but a much lighter color than usually have. Next time maybe try the hash or pancakes.

ENVIRONMENT there was food all over the floor. the tables were too small to fit our plates—again portion sizes is very big so i recommend sharing to also save table space. there is also a lot of people so there may or may not be a wait/line PARKING very busy so it is hard to find parking. you may have to drive around for a while to find an open spot.

Everything seemed dry. The waffle, the biscuits. The sausages were the frozen link type you get from safeway (brown-n-serve) I think. Could have done better with a link type. The service was great though, kudos to the staff.

The dining was loud, the coffee was dishwater, the waffle was warm the butter was overwhelming. The whole experience took over an hour an half. The best was the country potatoe.

My daughter and my first time here. The service was slow to order. We ordered the blueberry and cinnamon apple waffles. The waffles were very tasty but the fruit was from a can.. Not fresh. Also very sweet to us. The prices are on the expensive side. One waffle was $10.50 by itself. Nothing else. Not my best waffle.

Just had breakfast here today. And first off. The wait was short. But the soup tasted "funny" and the manager Arash. Argued with us about the triple play menu. All in all. I was disappointed because I have been going here for a while. Hopefully the service and food gets better.🙏

Friendly server. The food could use some improvements. My wife ordered chicken cordon bleu, and it was a fried chicken breast with a slice of melted Swiss cheese and a slice of ham on top of the fried breast. The cook obviously doesn't know how Chicken cordon Bleu is made. The mashed potatoes were dry with little taste. I hope things get better if this restaurant going to survive.

Ok food, but bland overall. I wouldn’t mind it, however If it looks like I could make it, why go out? We figure, it’s called Country Waffles, not All American and Mexicali breakfast. I was excited about that, but once again, it was ok. The waffle mix was bland and a little over cooked. EXPERIENCE From the time we ordered our food to the moment we were served was about 35 minutes . Being in the service industry I could see where the hold up could be from watching the wait staff. A couple next to us even had their order misplaced and waited even longer. SOLUTION If the restaurant reads these reviews, I’d have a suggestion. Organize the order and delivery system. Upgrade the “cappuccino” machine to a cappuccino machine. Keep your friendly staff. They just need your direction. To answer my question at the beginning. Would I come back here? Maybe later, once I’ve forgotten about this review and experience.

Very plain with a slight oil taste to everything.

Ok breakfast spot if you like unseasoned food; very bland. Staff was friendly, decor cute, and appeared clean. Just not a go to spot.

Our waitress did not even really look at us and the food was not the best at all. The potatoes were not good and my eggs whites were runny any bacon was thin and greasy. My waffles was best but even they were not good. I got the strawberry waffles and i thought it would be strawberry flavored but it just had strawberry’s on top. My hot chocolate did not feel right

The food was pretty good except they did mess up one of my party's sandwich and then when they brought out the new sandwich they didn't give him new fries. The service was not great. We had to call someone over to take our order after 20 minutes of waiting. Then the food came out sporadically the Cobb salad probably took 10 minutes after the rest of the table's food. Then we had to get up and ask someone for a refill. Everytime we needed something a different employee helped us. The woman who brought us our check that was the first time we'd seen her. The hostess who sat us took our drink and got our first refill. The woman who took our order was a manager it looked like and the woman who did our second round of refills was yet another employee. Thats 4 or 5 people. So it didn't seem super organized. We were there about an hour and a half and I would say 45-50 minutes of that time we didn't have food.

Service was a joke and so is waiting to be seated with empty tables and a 30 line wait while those tables sat empty..food was flavorless and cold when served 49 mins later. Our waitress was the nicest the other servers were rude. This place is a joke the worst to go eat at in Morgan Hill. Who ever owns this place should visit more often. It is being run poorly. We won't be back. Recommend going elsewhere.

There’s a server who’s very friendly that has long dark hair and she’s thorough- I’m bad with names- I want to say Mary. Mary makes up for the rest of the staff lacking smiles and compassion. I’m disabled and I go through the doors that are open with the disabled logo in front of the handicap parking. You get ignored by everybody but Mary. She smiles and let’s you know you have to go to the front door area though there is no sign saying so. . The food when this place first opened was fresh and tasty. The eggs seem rushed and perhaps powdered now? The country potatoes are sometimes or now just microwaved sliced potatoes. The rest of the staff carry themselves and behave like they hate their jobs and they hate working with people and that it hurts to smile. Go work in a factory or behind closed doors away from people or be happy you have a job. Dennys is better, I’d return if there was new management.

I usually don’t leave reviews but I took my mom and me to Country Waffles for the first time. She ordered a waffle with bacon and eggs on the side. I ordered a croissant sandwich with Turkey and egg inside. When my mom was about to take a bite out of the eggs, she said it smelled funky but thought that was maybe how it was supposed to smell. As I was on my way to drive us home, she suddenly had a massive headache and started to feel very nauseous, her body started aching and she felt weak. As soon as we got home, she threw up and realized the eggs she ate had gone bad. Skip to the next day, and I start to feel super nauseous. I wake up at 6 am and immediately run to the bathroom and throw up. That was when I remembered, what I ate had eggs in it too. My mother and I both have food poisoning from that place… bad first impression, I don’t think we’re going there again. Ordered a Mexicali online and got an egg with salsa. Mexican chilli, sour cream and cheese were left out for some reason. I double checked my order and still can’t figure out why. Bad first impression. I will never return. Tried to eat what I had but it was terrible. I gave this place two stars cause the food was edible. That’s it.

Wife's eggs Benedict weren't poached properly, basically raw. My scramble had raw potatoes and burnt cheese. Hash browns had no flavor and the coffee tastes like they reuse old coffee grounds. There was also a bit of communication problems. They also charged 8 bucks for a tiny box of cereal for my son. Felt like the temp was cranked up to 75 to 80 degrees. Tl;dr: food is pricey and not very good.

Today was our first time trying Country Waffles. We placed an order to-go. The manager handed me the food and said it was everything...including syrups. Yes, syrups were there, but she forgot the pancakes AND waffles, 2 kids meals...as well as a side if avacado. $60 later and im making pancakes for the kids. Thanks a lot. They do not have the system down for take out.

Yesterday I went for lunch I ordered the chicken & waffles, & I ate my drum stick and I’m once I hit the bone it was super cold like it just came out the freezer and it ruined my appetite it was a bad experience. Just make sure the food is fully cooked.

Didn't like the food. The waitress looked bother if we ask to take food back due to not cook to my satisfaction. Never came back for refilling my coffee😵😵😵😵😫😫😫😩😩😩was not at all satisfy with food or services.

I've been here twice. The food is decent. The second time I was here we were seated and got our coffee.... That was it. We looked at a table across from us and 4 people were bussing one table. Including our waitress. She never came back to take our order, or refill our coffee. I have no problem never going back. Many other great places for breakfast.

The food was tasty, the staff was friendly, the place is clean and very welcoming...unfortunately...the service is horrible meaning, there is a lack of staff, and the lack of good customer service. I hate to give this place a bad rating. First, the staff at the front door tells me there is a 45 min. wait for 2 people (cool, I'll wait) waited in my car for 20 min., come back in and the staff tells me she called me 15 min ago..what?! Okay fine, ill wait another 25 min. I then waited another 25 for coffee, 30 min. for food, gobbled my food! (30 min), waited for refills, 15 min., waited for our check 20 min., waited for the staff to come back to get my card 20 min. The staff finally took my payment, they forgot to give me my card and waited another 20 min. for them to realize that they did not give me my card back. You may be thinking "why didn't you just flag someone down?" I did in the beginning of my waiting trajectory" and the staff disappeared and did not help. The staff needs a lot of training in customer service. The staff walks around with horse blinds. I will never go back to this place. Disclaimer- it was Memorial day but the restaurant was not packed. To add, they were not serving waffles today! Lol, go figure. This bad customer service is a sign of lack of good leadership. I hope they make a change.

Very long waiting period. Hair on the plate and they forgot our waffle.

First time here, we wait for a table more than 30 min even though restaurant was half empty. We waited for waitress for 25 min to take out order and 45 min to come. Never again, waitress was rude and the service sucks. The food us not bad. Never the less, food was not bad but my kid and me got diarrhea.

Disappointed to try a restaurant with waffle in the name and find tasteless waffles. Husband ordered plain and I ordered the bacon/apple/cheddar, which supposedly had the bacon and cheddar “baked in” (according to the menu). I received a cold waffle (didn’t even melt the cheddar on top of the canned apple pie filling they piled on) and I ate 1/2 of the waffle finding zero cheddar or bacon baked in. I asked my husband how his waffle tasted (noticed he wasn’t eating it either) and he said “I can taste the syrup”. We won’t be back.

our server never refilled our coffee or ice tea and my potatoes were hard and cheese on omelet wasent even melted, never been before won't go back.

We were there on Thursday, October 5, 2023. Seeing it is a Waffle house I thought I should have a waffle. The worst waffle I have ever eaten. The frozen ones are better. It was suppose to have bacon and cheese cooked into it. Instead I think they took an old waffle that was sitting around, threw some bacon and cheese on it and brought it to me. My husbands eggs were cold and the hash browns although crispy, were not done inside. Totally disappointed with this place and would not recommend it to anyone.
