Opinions de Sicilia in Bocca Morgan Hill
FOOD ive never tasted so much flavor in my life. usually when i order fettuccine alfredo, i have to douse it in salt and pepper but i didnt even pick up ANY salt this time. SO MUCH FLAVOR!!! actually the best alfredo ive ever eaten. linguine mondello was also VERY good. usually i dont like marinara flavored pasta but this pasta is really good— the marinara isnt extremely overpowering so the taste is very balanced SERVICE great hospitality!! around 10-20min wait for dishes to be served. ATMOSPHERE very homey. outside and inside seating are great options. lots of decorations. only one bathroom though. parking lot was kinda weird— theres like some cars that are just randomly parked?? (not in an orderly fashion). very limited parking space as well
This is my third visit to Sicilia in Bocca over the last three years…and I live in the U.S. I can’t say enough about this place. The staff on every visit (especially Naiden, Loredana, Gonzalo y Pepe) is wonderful! The food is delicious! The garden room is so special. A dinner (or two) during your visit to Santiago de Compostela is a must!
We ordered the bruschetta and veg pesto pasta, olive oil pasta and desserts. we got our food quickly and it was absolutely delicious. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great quantity. Loved their Pasta and dessert . Several options for vegetarians. Wonderful experience.
Great little restaurant in Morgan hill…. Food was great and service as well…. Nice set up lived the table cloths and the place is very nice
Yummy! It was worth it! I ordered what the waiter recommended. Lobster spaghetti. It wasn’t on the menu. I had no idea how much it cost. Because I was in a hurry, I also asked them for the bill right away. It’s $70. That’s a lot of money for food. I would’ve given them a 1 star if it didn’t live up to the price. The lobster was fresh and the food was amazing! The portion was huge. I ate 1/2 and had 1/2 to go. The next day after coming out of the microwave, it was still very yummy and fulfilling.
Wonderful meal while dining in Morgan Hill, Sicilian in Bocca! The service was excellent and the wine was splendid! Never a dissatisfied meal st this place and we will definitely be coming back again and again! Thanks so much!
A romantic experience in a former house turned restaurant. Consistently great food and excellent services. The 36 oz rib eye is too intimidatingly big to order but the next table did and it is as large as it sounds! Italian cuisine at its best. 10/10 would go again.
Loved this place the food was on point! Definitely on my top 3 places for Italian food!!
My family and I have been coming here since I can’t remember, it has very family environment always vibrant! I personally love the pasta and I know some people come for their Rib Eye steak! Always have a nice time, good wine and good food is all you need .

I just moved to Morgan Hill and found this amazing Italian cozy place near me. The food is excellent to put it mildly. Great service by a friendly staff.
Fantastic food and service. They even divided our salad onto two plates prior to serving. Opened 14 years ago (per server, from Sicily).
We had a birthday dinner for my brother and nephew and even tho there were close to 30 of us the food was phenomenal as always. It was served family style so it felt like we were sitting at THEIR family table💜
This place to me home . I was raised in pordenone Italy. And I have not had a good Italian food since I moved here . They yes they speak Italian and holding up the Italian culture...loved loved it . Thank you
We have had dinner here twice and both times the dinner was excellent. It's a great place to take an outside table and enjoy a pleasant evening with good food. You are not rushed to leave and can enjoy extended conversations and coffee after dinner while being attended to by very friendly people.
The food is good... small New York Italian restaurant good. The Gnocchi was perfect, the Italian bread was warm and crusty. While talking with the Sicilian waiter (owner?) before I left, I discovered that all the other patrons inside were expats from either Brooklyn or New Jersey. That tells you all you need to know. Near Morgan Hill? Go. Eat. Enjoy.
The food is excellent! We travel to Salinas every month, and we stay in Morgan Hills to dine here. Service is not the very best, as they are usually short handed. But....this is as close to Italy as it gets.
Love this place! Always good wine, delicious salmon and swordfish. Don't forget the Burrata cheese app so yummy. Great service too.
The food is so delicious, I think about it daily, they treat you like family, always happy to see & serve you.
Amazing food, never had a bad meal here. The staff are so kind, funny, and gracious. All around great vibe.
Having grown up partly in Tuscany, I have an acquired taste for many things Italian. Sicily has it's own spin on Italian cuisine, but this cucina gets the standards quite right. I'm very fond of their ravioli, and the Bolognese sauce is both hearty and flavorful. I also like that most of the staff speak Italian. I'll be back at every opportunity. Benissimo!
A cozy little Italian restaurant in the small town of Morgan Hill. I easily made reservations through Google and when we arrived we were welcomed with "Prego" by Salvatore in a charming Italian accent. Our table by the window had already been set up for us. We chose a smooth Italian wine and sipped it as we were brought out some tasty bruschetta with fresh tomatoes. Salvatore told us about items on the menu, some of the ingredients he personally grows in his garden behind the restaurant. We sampled amazingly sweet and tasty squash ravioli with a butter sage cream sauce (which can be an entree). I chose the Fettachine Carbonara ( very good) and my husband had a Rigatoni with a spicy garlic marinara sauce (outstanding! ) We will definitely be back to sample more!
A little gem in Morgan Hill. Great food, great service. The place is a little small, so all the tables are very close to each other. I went here 2 times with my husband & we love it both times.
Authentic Sicilian Restaurant in downtown Morgan Hill. It isn't fancy, in fact you could call it a hole in the wall -a home that was converted into a 55 seat restaurant with additional seating outdoor. We scoped this place for a senior tour group. Salvatore is the charming and handsome nephew and host/server. His uncle of the same name is owner and does not speak much english. We contacted him by phone to inquire about hosting our group and he invited us for a sampling. My co-worker who is of Italian descent said it was very authentic, along with the decor and heavy accent- you would feel like you are in a Italian's family home. The started us off with a freshness delicious compliment bruschetta with fresh tomatoes, olive oil and basil and the traditional rustic bread. We tried the Sicilian Salad, a breath of freshness in a spring mix, thinly sliced onions, orange, olives, tomato and anchovies. Next came the bowtie pasta with a light red sauce and Italian sausage (can't remember the name) and then the heavenly homemade Butternut Squash Ravioli in a butter sauce. The last sample was the chicken picatta, thin chicken breast sauteed with capers. the meat was delicate and light. Needless to say, we booked our group in
Best spaghetti in town. Fair prices. The owner is from Sicily and the food is authentic Italian. So many good choices. I would eat here everyday.
Hands down one of my top 3 favorite places to eat. They treat you like family in there. Their Veal Giamaco is superb, the eggplant parmesan is exquisite and the rack of lamb is to die for. Best restaurant in Morgan Hill!
Best ribeye I've ever had. 3 lbs of exquisitely prepared perfection. Takes about 40 minutes to cook so order a light appetizer or a salad to start. Enjoy.
A great Italian experience. Good food and great wines. Our server was great offering suggestions and must try. On my next visit I will truly order the steak (to share)
Delicioso!!! The staff is very friendly & prices are very reasonable their portions are big we ordered the following and 4 adults shared. Salvatore was our waiter, SUPERB service. Drinks: perino beer, water Appetizers: caprisi salad, calamari, bruschetta Dinner: Pasta in a very light tasty sauce with tomato & basil Meat: Mouth watering Ribeye steak like we never had it anywhere else with vegetables Dessert: a piece of each tiramisu, chocolate cake, italian berry cheesecake, pistachio cake Drink: Italian coffee & decaf coffee It was quite a delicious experience all of our food was very YUMMY! We LOVE this place!!!
O M G - what a great place. The food was excellent, our waitress was now only very professional but also one beautiful young lady. The atmosphere is elegant and all of our food was cooked to perfection. I'll be back for round two some time in the near future. I just can't say enough about Sicilia In Bocca other than that if you havent been there you should go. You won't regret it.
The staff was very friendly. I chose the dish they recommended: FARFALLE PISTACCHIOSA. It was incredibly delicious, and everyone should definitely give it a try!
I've never had a bad meal there. The food's always good service is great. Great wine selection.
Went with a friend on Mother's Day. It was near closing but they welcomed us in. Very nice.. We both had the Grilled Salmon with vegetables & potato wedges, perfectly seasoned. Served with bread & dipping oil. Loved it!! It is a bit pricey but well worth it. Nice wine selection.
Awesome food! Great people. My wife threw a surprise 50th birthday party for me here. Everything was delicious. So much good food and friendly staff.
Easily the best Italian food around the San Jose area. The beef carpaccio and bruschetta are to die for, and the pasta is good no matter what you pick.
This place is absolutely amazing. Great customer service, the chef came out and introduced himself the staff were all friendly. Love the hospitality. We finally found a true authentic Italian restaurant. Definitely will be going back.
Good Service and Delicious food! It was my Birthday dinner out with family and I had there Tiramisu for Birthday Cake. Best birthday cake I've had in long time, Tiramisu is Fantastic! FYI if you get the ribeye order early, takes awhile to prepare and Worth It. Sicilian salad is also good 😋
The service was excellent. The selection of pastas and other Italian/Sicilian entrees made it difficult to decide what to order. Seven of us loved all we chose. The huge steak was absolutely the most delicious and flavorful we have ever had. It is large enough for 2 or 3 people! We can't wait to return...
We were a big party that showed up for a late lunch. The service was great and very accommodating. Every single dish that our party ordered was authentic and delicious. The wine was outstanding and the tiramisu at the end was amazing. We are all looking forward to our next visit to Sicilia In Bocca!
I don’t know what is real Italian food but I saw most people are Italian people. I assume it is authentic!
Food was delicious. The wait time for the main dish was quick and the staff is very professional.
This is the type of "Mom n Pops" business that America was built on!! We are SO PLEASED that this establishment made it through the pandemic with flying colors!! It is exactly as we remembered ... with outstanding food, impeccable service & wonderful ambience!! One CANNOT visit this restaurant with out having the Ribeye ... which incidentally is big enough to feed a small country!! We usually split the ribeye ... which is always cooked to perfection & to your taste..... amongst 4 of us then order a few plates of pasta. And don't be surprised if the owner comes table-side & picks up a conversation like he has known you for years!! A totally amazing dining experience 😍!!!
Authentic Italian dishes and preparation. I liked the gnocci and linguine marinara, thought it was very tasty. Good selection of wine, pricey though. The staff is friendly and if there is a birthday on the table usually they plan a nice song and make the birthday person feel special. They let you bring a cake and bring it out at right time. Nice little Italian place in Morgan Hill.
What a treat ! If you happen to discover this Italian restaurant run by Sicilians with Mediterranean warmth and village simplicity and kindness. I was walking when I say this place in front of me, preferred a traditional caprese along a seafood pasta. The food queched my hunger with the owner peeking over to gauge my satisfaction. Along with good food, it’s fun to have that banter and communications via facial expressions and head nods. Go ahead try this place and travel to Sicily in the span of a meal. Bedda Matri!
Very nice first visit here. We enjoyed our meals. They were nice and hot when served. They have a very nice menu. I enjoyed the Eggplant parmigiana and Calamari. My friends had spaghetti and meatballs, Risotto and Shrimp. Yum!
The crab ravioli was fantastic! The only thing that could have made it better is if it came with more ravioli. It was a classic quality over quantity scenario. The crab ravioli was such a high quality meal that it just made me want more. In fact, it was so high quality that even if they tripled the serving size, it still wouldn’t have been enough for me. I would have kept eating that crab ravioli until I slipped into a food coma. It shouldn’t be allowed to serve food that tastes so good to the point where you can’t put the fork down. That type of food can knock you out. Maybe that’s why Sicilia In Bocca doesn’t give the largest portion size for their crab ravioli, it’s too good for people to handle. People wouldn’t be responsible enough to regulate their crab ravioli consumption, I sure wouldn’t be. Thank you Sicilia In Bocca for keeping my best interest in mind and not letting me overdose on the crab ravioli.
I've only been there a few times. Perfectly portioned meals. Reasonable prices and great service. This is comfort food that is literally just like what came out of grandma's kitchen. I would recommend it to everyone looking for authentic Italian food at its finest.
I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could. REAL authentic gelato and Sicilian food💥🥰 so delicious!!!!!
I just received my order from doordash and I was shocked to see what such a small portion I did get, however, it tasted like heaven, it was the freshest tastiest Butternut ravioli I've ever had. So after eating it I could not be upset about the small portion. For the price you should get more.
Excellent, amazing, delicious.... It is hard to evaluate food that it was so perfectly prepared. It is clear by the taste that everything is prepared in house the way it is prepared in Italy. The fried mozzarella, the chicken parmesan, the pasta, the pink sauce were outstanding. When we got to the dessert part the waitress recommended the tiramisu. I can definitely eat several more as the creaminess and the taste were perfect. And of course, the service was very good as well.... couldn't ask for more. Sicilia In Boxcar will be my place to eat every time I am in the area.
Tried yesterday for the first time. Ordered through Door Dash. After getting 3 texts from Door Dash letting me know that my delivery time was getting later and later, I was super annoyed and got plates ready to microwave the food when I got it. I was keeping an eye on the app and noticed that the driver made a couple of stops after she picked up my food, so the delays were not the restaurants fault. About 45 minutes after the driver picked up my food, I finally got it. To my surprise, the food was still hot. Not just warm, but hot! It was put in Togo containers that are made for hot food and then the containers were quadruple wrapped in cellophane. Another nice surprise was a half of a loaf of delicious bread that I didnt know came with it. The bread was also wrapped and still warm. I cant wait to go into the restaurant to eat since my food was still delicious even though it was cooked at least an hour before I ate it!
Excellent meal & service. Friend & I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Best calamari I've ever had~cooked perfectly, not greasy in the least, light & slightly crisp. Can't wait to go back!
This is the real deal. Wonderful and simple with the finest ingredients. If you have ever been to Italy you know what I mean and LONG for such a warm, family owned restaurant with great food. Perfect place for sharing all types of pasta, or splurge for one of the largest and finest steaks in town. My favorite dish is the Pansotti; the most delicate pasta moon raviolis with chicken and spinach inside and a very light fresh tomato sauce. Everything is good. Just go.
Delicious! I had a nightly special chicken and my partner had chicken piccata. Both were excellent! Good selection of Italian wines as well.
Best place to eat in Morgan Hill. It's a small, family-run place, so be sure to make reservations on the weekend. Great pasta dishes. I loved their rack of lamb. Very good wine list.
We took a trip to Gilroy for some time away and decided to give this restaurant a try as it was nearby and we wanted Italian food. We ordered a house special order of fillet mignon, and the tortellini in a pink vodka sauce to go and went back to where we were staying. We decided to spilt our orders so we could try a bit of each, I don't know if I was happy to get to try both or sad I didn't get more of one! The steak was tender and cooked to order, served with a balsamic reduction that stole the show. It made the meat more succulent, the vegetables more savory, and the bread we received with the order an indulgence on its own. The tortellini was cooked perfectly, and the sauce had an intriguing slight sweetness. The fresh bread was a pleasant addition I hadn't intended to have much of, but ended up using to sop up every last bit of sauce.
Discovered this restaurant recently and we are in love! Authentic Italian cuisine that tastes absolutely delicious. Salvatore is amazing and provides excellent service. Loved meeting the chef, everyone is kind and welcoming. We will be bringing all of our family and friends!
It's always one of my favorite places, but we hadn't been in quite a while. I was reminded why I love it by this awesome lobster 🦞. They brought a huge live lobster to the table, and I was sold so worth it! I will definitely be back soon.
I love LOVE THIS PLACE. I still dream of the tissues thin ravioli and perfect wine pairings. It ruined all other Italian restaurants for me. They will never even come close. My mother’s friend Martha introduced us and I im so very thankful. The staff is unbelievably sweet and friendly. They are very knowledgeable and have great recommendations.
We called ahead just to make sure that they had space but they were very welcoming and made room for us. It's tight inside but they have a lot of outdoor seating with wonderful heaters. The service was amazing and the only thing better than the service was the food. Absolutely perfect! I've been to Sicily and they've definitely got it right.
This is my go to Italian restaurant!!!… always consistent. This is real homemade Italian food and the atmosphere is great too. 10 out of 10
Ordered the 36 oz ribeye and was cooked to perfection, service and atmosphere were great as well
This is hands down the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever visited. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was excellent, and the food was simply outstanding. We started with an appetizer of mussels and clams, which was an absolute delight. My husband ordered the eggplant and swordfish pasta special, while I had the crab ravioli. I’ve never tasted Italian food this amazing—though I’ve never been to Italy, these dishes felt like a true taste of authentic Italian cuisine. I’ll definitely be returning with family and friends very soon.

Very good food and service. Have been here a few times and it's been very consistent.
Small place that makes some amazing dishes. Everything we ordered was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The service was just as good. The wine was a perfect choice by the staff. My only gripe was the quality of the ribeye, and it wasn't high quality. Don't get me wrong, it was cooked and seasoned very well just lacked that high quality beef taste you'd expect. I can't wait to go back!

The food is very good and authentic 5 stars. Unfortunately they only had 2 waiters for the entire restaurant and I had to get up and ask them if they could take our order since we had been waiting for over 30 minutes since we had sat down. I felt bad for the 2 waiters that work working as fast as they could. Several tables almost left because of the time we all had to wait for our food to come out.
I haven't been but once and it was a while back. Having said that I have to say they made the best ribeye of my life and my boy's New York steak was excellent (neither were on the menu back then). I challenge anyone to sit and eat a whole steak here because they are ridiculously huge. This is a small place and nothing's done in a hurry so if you are (in a hurry) then don't bother. I'll be back when I'm really hungry and I have the time to relax and enjoy some good food.
Always love the food, the ribeye is awesome. 4 stars instead of 5 because it was so hot in the restaurant. If they beefed up the AC I would have bought more wine with my meal.
Calamari was amazing!. We had the rib eye for the first time. Ordered medium rare and it came back medium, which was ok. The size of it was huge though. I've never seen a rib eye that big! Still very tasty!
A delicious mom and pop place. I heartily recommend the veal dishes. It's reasonably priced for the quality of the food.
Loved this place. Although the person who takes the order is a bit rude, the food is actually decent. A bit pricey but food had good flavor. I ordered the pasta with chicken. Chicken was moist, sauce was delish, and the pasta was just on point. Outdoor atmosphere is great. Inside the resto was a bit cluttered. Great experience
Food was really good. Service was fair, patio roadside was decent. I have mixed feelings on going back due mostly because I got a half tea and half lemonade with 1 refill for 10 dollars so that didn't sit right with me. I'd get water next time if that's the case but service was mediocre at best.
Always enjoy this place! Excellent ribeye 😋
Solid Sicilian restaurant. A bit pricey but overall, tolerable. The pasta with the swordfish (I don't remember the name) was pretty good. Overall I would recommend this place for people who want a different and more unique italian experience.
This restaurant offers authentic Italian dishes including pasta, seafood and steaks. We ate outside and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Tight seating indoors. Attentive service. Food was nothing to write home about. My swordfish and eggplant pasta dish lacked the fish and the eggplant was minced. Two small pieces of fish, about the size of a pencil eraser. Sauce was watery and lacked taste. Outdoor seating is available.
Wine was good. Service was unfriendly, but I saw them being friendly with a few other tables, probably regulars. Fettuccine Alfredo tasted like water with noodles and a hint of flavor. Osso bucco w/ polenta was decent. My hope was to re- experience Italy since the personnel that work there are Italian, but it didn’t deliver.
The service was very good. The menu was extensive. The entrées were good, but I have had better food elsewhere. The best part of the was the desserts. Those were excellent.
Great service, see bass was excellent as was after dinner coffee. Atmosphere was not comfortable. Party nearby watching videos on iPad for the 2 hours I was having dinner.
Hadn't been in years. Went with another couple. Didn't realize that all the tables were outside and under tents. For starters, they have a strange wine list. A dozen or so bottles ranging from $52 to $550. We ordered a bottle of $60 J‐Lohr and it was excellent. We ordered the Eggplant Parmigiano for an appetizer. It was tender and tasty. For my entree I ordered Chicken Piccata. The chicken was tender and also tasty, however, the sides were mediocre. The potatoes were way overcooked and only a few were edible. Overall, our dinner was good just not great which was disappointing.
I only come here with good friends and family for the Italian experience. The lobster specialty was a little off ( no vegetables) and small perhaps because it was the last one. The salmon bruschetta was excellent. The other dish of Ravioli was quite nice. Service was friendly but the guy should have brought the heater since it was chilly to eat outside. Dessert were fantastic! Corking fee is high.. Not the overall evening I want to come back for..
The restaurant seems to suffer from its neighbor the bar and grill. 5 of us went in for dinner and quickly left. Outside we couldn't escape the bar and grill's smoke which was also blowing right into the open windows and door. Unfortunately with allergies, I can't see going back. No opinion on the food, sadly.
Family of 5 went last night, I had the special, lobster crab ravioli, was okay. Husband had the Sea bass, flavor was just okay but the presentation was horrible, 2 little filets, drowning in a white sauce. Son had the fetticini, dry and no flavor, the fish had more sauce than the pasta. Daughter and daughter in law shared the ribeye, that was delisious! However the vegetables and potatoes that went with it were very generic. Service was mediocre, except the server with the Green bay mask, he was awesome. Don't see us going back.
I am writing this instead of my wife, Silvia. We went here, for the first time in hopes of trying out their 48 oz ribeye (we were going to share it). The waitress (a very pleasant young lady) informed us that it takes 45 minutes to prepare. We elected not to wait so, instead, my wife ordered the swordfish and I ordered the Veal parmigiana. Both dishes were served with broccoli and (what they called) scalloped potatoes. My veal was wafer thin and not very flavorful. My wife's swordfish was also skimpy in size (although she said that it had good flavor). The broccoli was okay but the "scalloped potatoes" were more like watered down (very watered down) mashed potatoes. The bill came to a little over $70 (before the tip) with no appetizers but one glass of wine. The dining area is small (but we knew that from reading the reviews beforehand) which may explain why the service felt rushed (they were going for a quick turnover for the tables). For my money, Maurizio's has much better food, service and atmosphere.
Those looking for the "Rude New York" experience may want to try this place. The food is marginal...at best. Mushroom risotto and penne haven't changed from the review a year ago. Portion size is very small and prices are ridiculous. Absolutely no way I will ever go back.
Hostly, I guess their soup is from can , the over all food was terrible. I've grown up with Italian food, so I know what's genuinely cooked with really ingredients. Their food are NOT GENUINE.
NON È ACCETTABILE PER ME COSÌ! They are glad my father is not writing this and has not wrote this. Service was fine, there is an electrical hazard in the bathroom, The food sucks. So Sicilia In Bocca More like Sicilia in Baka
I'm from out of town and have wanted to try this restaurant every time I'm here. I took my family and it was the worst Italian food I have every had. We ordered the mushroom risotto and the penne with sausage in cream sauce. The Risotto was watery half cooked with mushrooms that tasted like they cam from a can. The Penne pasta was half cooked and the sausage had no flavor. It was UN eatable. I cried because it was so bad and so expensive. I will never go back and don't understand how they are still in business.
Overall, I had a mixed experience at this restaurant. Some of the items were tasty, but I felt that the prices were too high. The ambience was okay - family style and authentic. The calamari was pretty good, a medium sized appetizer tray had great, fresh cheese. The lobster with clams was a bit disappointing - the lobster was undercooked but the clams were tasty. The pizza margherita was tasty. The gnocchi was not so great - it was bit dry and overcooked. The desserts (2 items) were very good. The total bill came to around $300 before tips, which was a bit of a shock. Lobster & clams was $120 and the appetizers were $90. We were expecting the appetizers to be around $30 and Lobster for $80 (which was the price the waiter told us initially). In hindsight, we could have gone to a fancy restaurant in Santana Row for this bill.
I ordered risotto porchini. It was boiled rice floating in broth. Non edible. And I told my server it was not good, he just ignored my comment and cleared the plate. Never had this bad risotto at an Italian restaurant
My husband and I wanted to try something new, and it always looks crowded, so we decided to try. We both ordered an item from the specials (ravioli stuffed with buffalo cheese), 26 dollars for 5 ravioli!!! I was kinda shocked, but stayed positive and thought maybe it's going to be amazing, it was not. The only time a server came to check on us was when she took our order, that's it, no water refill, no "how's your food?", Or "would you like more wine?" Also, it was so crowded and extremely loud, if you want a relaxing nice dinner, this is not the place. I don't know if I'd come back.
The service and atmosphere is great. We ordered the surf & turf. The steak and lobster was over cooked and not so good. I paid more to eat here than many other places and expected better. I probably won't go back.
We started off as a nice dinner. The food was good. The atmosphere was fun. The restaurant had a lot of patrons appetizers were good. We had the Caprese and the mozzarella very good at the end of the evening. One of the cooks came out. He sat in the restaurant on his phone playing videos so loud That we could not enjoy our time. It was horrible. We spent over $200 for our dinner and expected it to be quiet and intimate, and unfortunately one of the workers and then there was also a workers child that was there as well. The child was very quiet, but the worker was an older gentleman. I acknowledged him and went up to him and told him that his phone was really loud and that he had ruined that atmosphere of our dinner, he apologized and continued to share his phone. The food is decent unfortunately, the atmosphere was not what I expected. I'd really hoped for something more intimate and thought we had found it until the gentleman came out of the kitchen and was on his phone. I don't recommend this if you're looking for a restaurant to talk to people and to enjoy food, family, and fun. This is not the place. I gave this two stars because of the experience with the gentleman on his phone. It's unfortunate because our waitress was awesome. The food was good, but the overall experience was terrible.
I was there on a Friday and ordered food to go. The total for two lunches and Italian bread was slightly over $79, and since the entry choices were "highly recommended" by their waiter, I trusted him and looked forward to a tasty treat at home. However, the food tasted like it came right out of a frozen dinner box and did not taste healthy like most other Italian food. The Italian bread was extremely spiced up with garlic and spice which was not expected. We had a little bit of the food and discarded the rest. It is hard for me to believe they have such high ratings on Google. I also noticed all the cars in their parking lot were covered by heavy dust - not sure why they ether drive such dusty cars or left cars in the parking lot for such long time to have accumulated so much dust. This is probably not related to their food quality but is an unexplained observation.
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone after tonight, I would make sure to tell my friends that I assume the staff are allowed to be judgemental and rude to customers. After a formal event i wanted to take my date for a nice meal in our formal wear. We attended a themed even and were wearing face paint. I called ahead to ask if that was okay, and i was specific about what we had on. I asked if the restaurant had a dress code, and was told no. Then i said we specifically have full face paint on 'like clowns makeup' and i was told that should be fine. We arrived at 9pm, confident that we had an hour to eat and very excited. A tall man with a noticable accent met us at the door, i dont know if he was a member of staff or something higher because of his accent, but he blocked the door and stared at us with his eyes open very wide. I assumed he wanted to walk out and i was blocking him so i stepped aside. He then told us they were closed. We were there an hour before closing and could see many people inside. His body language and facial expression were aggressive, so i didn't feel safe asking if a to-go order would work. My date was very embarrassed and turned to leave immediately so no one would see her tear up because she felt shamed, assuming that we were being sent away for looking odd. She took a short cut across the grass because of that, and she fell and twisted her ankle badly. She cried on the car ride home. We planned this event for several months, spent hundred on dresses and hair, had an amazing time at the event and planned to spend hundreds on food as well. And instead of our night ending that way, shes in bed in tears with ice on her ankle, and i completely blame that aggressive tall man. I would honestly go out of my way to tell people not to go to his restaurant after this. Three stars for atmosphere because it looked beautiful inside, past the man barring our entry.
