This is a beautiful restaurant, incredible service, and the food is amazing. Locally grown & fresh. This is an excellent place to meet friends, hold events, enjoy on a date night. We have always enjoyed this restaurant. Very special conversations & memories we have shared here.

OMG!! I've never been to the establishment before amazing food!! My sister is always cold ,So I told her you go in and tell me if you're cold.If you are we won't go.. She went in, and she was like, it's perfect temp. Not cold.☺️ we had clam chowder ,seafood salad she had fish and chips and clam chowder, and then we shared an appetizer of calamari.. I must say this food was on point delicious.All the way through ..the atmosphere was awesome and elegant?The service was perfection.. And it was mostly by our not server.She was just the person that would bring the sodas and stuff.She was so informative.. our server was very gracious, as well. .. I definitely look forward to going to this establishment again... You cannot go wrong in any way going to rosie's At the beach. Thumbs up y'all thank you for a great meal..

I had a very good experience for our dinner this evening. The waiter we had was very sweet and very good at his job. As a matter of fact, all the staff was very nice and polite. I had halibut and mashed potatoes and the vegetables were perfect. We also had the short rib tacos. I think that's what they were called. I'm definitely an adorable place to eat dinner.

I had great time visiting Rosy’s at the beach. The food never disappoints it had great flavor. We had the macadamia halibut and summer seafood salad. It was refreshing and filling. The service was great very attentive! Anytime I’m in Morgan hill and I’m craving for seafood this is my go place!

I was invited to join up with a large bicycle group (ACTC) and went for a 34 mile ride this past week. Since it was Taco Tuesday, we stopped at Rosy's for lunch. We had a very attentive server and the salmon tacos were excellent. This was my first experience here. It was a perfect way to finish a long bike ride.

Update: I've been back twice and it's still good. First time visiting, and I will be back with friends. Staff was friendly - one of the busers wasn't very friendly and didn't smile, but maybe they don't need to be? Restaurant felt clean, and bar area looks comfy & inviting. Atmosphere was casual & fun in a slightly upscale way. We sat at an inside table with a nice view of the town. All 3 of our meals were delicious. Looks like they have a good wine & drink selection. Location felt safe. I do recommend.

Love the outdoor seating, the service and, to a lesser degree, the food. Your right in Morgan Hill - right smack dab on Monterey Rd. Some traffic noise and a lot of tourists and locals walking by. Nice for people watching. Menu with mostly sandwiches and burgers varietied. Good specials and lots of simple seafood choices - most people should be able to find something. Recommend shrimp and grits, chicken pot pie, and always, taco Tuesday. Service very friendly - they go out of their way service wise. Full drink bar, lots of interesting variety. Beer selection varies - not all available every time,(space dust IPA). Great spot to enjoy summer and watch it slink off.

Perfect spot for lunch or dinner. They have daily specials and a great menu. They seem to really care about their food quality and creativity in their cuisine offerings. They also have outdoor seating. If sitting outdoors please be mindful of the proximity of the main street flowing through downtown Morgan Hill which could be loud due to motorcycles and loud car engines which could make the dining experience disappointing.

Great place the food is really nice and well served. Served with warm bread and butter on house. Ordered seafood linguine was outstanding. The lamb chops were good as well. One complaint though it was apparently under staffed that you had to wait a while for everything.

Bruschetta,eggplant Beretta were excellent. Had simple pasta again which was good too.

Ambiance is upscale, servers are attentive and entrees were on the larger side and seasoned well. Many options from salads to steak, chicken, pastas, specialty dishes like beef Wellington. Delicious desserts. Great place for special occasions.

Rosys is one mine and my family's favorite places to order from. This was my first time actually dining at the actual restaurant and I was quite disappointed. While the food was good I felt so uncomfortable having to eat there. Service was subpar our from host to server they barely acknowledge or talked to us and when finally taking our order just rushed it. We were sat right next to the kitchen doors on a freezing night with it being loud and doors hoping closing the whole time. The upset was there were plenty of other tables for us 3 through the restaurant. My boyfriend just didnt want to complain and just try and enjoy our dinner. I think ill just go back to ordering out to eat at home from there. The foods wasnt even enjoyable eating there.

The loaded Clam Chowder bread🍞 bowl was phenomenal🤤, presentation was on point 😁. The level of temperature could use some help 😕. Mine was a tad under heated and also heard others complain that it was cold. So just ask them to make sure it's piping hot 🔥. I'd rather wait for it to cool down then ask them to reheat it. 😩 Tried the crab🦀 cakes which can be hit or miss.... It was a hit!🎯 I definitely wanted to try the the 🦑calamari but that'll be another time. The atmosphere was clean and neat! Looked very fancy🤵‍♂️ and welcoming. I went in the morning 🌅 when they opened and we're the 1st one there with a few friends. We all ordered the tik Tok sensation that is going viral haha, I found it on IG. Server was super polite and jokingly friendly which made us relaxed. I will say, the staff do deal with some very prissy people which you can't do much about other customers but does ruin the vibe🤙. Guess that comes with the territory of a somewhat high scale looking place 🤷‍♂️ I will be back and looking forward to the other items on the menu. Oh and the mango 🥭 iced tea wasnt super sweet which I loved 😍 Highly recommend if you haven't, it does get busy here so find that time to visit. Parking 🚗 can be found in the back parking🚘 lot, and there's more parking 🅿️ if it gets full, just have to keep going to the next parking lot if there's nothing available up front or on the side street. Use the back entrance 🚪 if you do park in the back.

For a Saturday lunch, place had a good clientele while not being over crowded. The wonton appetizer had a nice taste and we’ll balance ingredient. The chicken and shrimp risotto was slightly on the sweet side from the sweet corn that’s added into the dish but the shrimps were fresh and tasty. Good service and pet friendly.

After we arrived on time, we were seated and provided with menus. We then spent 26 minutes waiting for service. Patrons who came in after us were attended to before we were finally acknowledged. We addressed this with the server, Alfredo, who checked in with us. . He was apologetic and attentive. The caprese salad was perfect. My scallops were slightly over-cooked, but overall, the dish was delicious. The sea bass was very nice. Alfredo saved the day. We were 4 minutes away from leaving and posting a 1-star review.

Food was great. Service not so much. New York steak cooked correctly, pork Osso Bucco fantastic, Mary's Organic Roasted Chicken great. I think our server judged us and decided that we probably wouldn't be good tippers so based service on that. Not terrible but lacking for sure.

Rosy’s has been a Morgan Hill staple for as long as I can remember, and this was my first time coming back in over a decade. The loaded clam chowder was great, as was the seafood salad. The paella however, was terrible, hence the lower rating. It was more like a risotto than a paella. No crispy bottom and loaded with butter and cream.

Apps were great. Drinks were great. Food was meh. I had seafood Paella. It was plentiful, but the rice was bland, the seafood was good, not great. My wife had shrimp and scallops, and was happy with it. My son ordered surf and turf. The lobster was cold and they brought A1 to the table? I can’t remember the last time a restaurant brought A1 without asking! He said the steak actually NEEDED it! My FIL and SIL split a double lobster platter. And split a prawn pasta dish. Both split dishes came out with full sides, which was generous. … but… the lobsters were cold, and the pasta sauce was very watery… My MIL had crab cakes that looked over fried, dark brown. She said they were meh…

It was pretty good! I ordered the special which was a grilled peach salad with Burrata cheese and prawns. My only argument would be that they were described as tempura prawns, except they were not - they were deep-fried. Tempura is a light batter. I would've much preferred it, it was delicious but had I known it was deep fried I would've opted for the Caesar salad, for sure. Service was great, but shortstaffed it appeared. I'm not sure if you have to ask, but I did ask for bread and butter. The bread was so hot I couldn't touch it. I'm not sure if it pops right out of the oven or the microwave… It was tasty. The whipped butter tasted a little like it has been in the fridge too long and absorbed other things. I think the server was the manager and the bartender that day, and she was awesome, actually! I would come back for certain

Edit August 26, 2025: Our last three visits have been so disappointing. The service is terrible, the portions are smaller, and the food comes out just warm. The prices are much too high for what we get. After coming here for many years, we will take our business elsewhere. 😔 Edit 10 months later: This restaurant is still great. Delicious food. Jason the bartender makes great, strong drinks with a smile. Extremely impressed by our dinner tonight. Kevin was a perfect waiter. Never had to ask for anything. We all got a different salad and all three were delicious! Drinks were good. Only disappointment was the truffle fries; not much truffle flavor. Keep up the great work guys!! Be back soon! Went again and enjoyed the beef short ribs and the salmon salad. Both were very delicious and huge portions!

My wife and I had dinner at the bar in Ladera Grill … The server/bartender talked non stop to a couple next to us, while never asking us once about our meal or if we needed anything else,etc… The server seemed to be having some personal crisis that she was sharing with the couple while completely ignoring us for the complete meal. The “blackened Sea Bass”, ordered had no flavor and the cheesy bread we ordered for an appetizer was delivered cold with our meal… overall I found the Ladera experience was overshadowed by the vacant service. This is the 10th+ time I have been to this restaurant but the first time eating at the bar… I am very underwhelmed by this experience

$20 for two of the smallest crab cakes in the world and below average taste. The coleslaw was super sweet and not edible. Fries were unsalted. My mom got a Caesar salad - very average tasting, like one you get in a bag at the grocery store. Service was good, but I will definitely not be returning.

They threw away my leftovers. They asked if I wanted a box and they threw it all away. What a crappy experience. Waitress sucked too. Never really came back to even ask how the food was. Previous experiences were good but all it takes is one time to ruin it all. The helpers were awesome though. They were very attentive. Way more than the waitress. Seemed like she didn't even want to be there.

How does this place even have 4.3 stars total?!? This place is terrible!!! First, our appetizers arrive even before our drinks make it to the table. Whotf does that?!? Then, our food arrives all AT ONCE. All our food is GUMMY and our waiter does not even check on us. We are not going to finish this food, we will NOT take to-go boxes either. My chicken is gummy chewy, my kids grilled cheese is gummy chewy, my other kids chicken strip are super crispy. Do I recommend this place?!? NO!!! Eat elsewhere. Our waiter does not even check on us. Trust me, we are great tippers, but this waiter does not even try to make our dinner worth it.
