This is an authentic nepalese place. Lipsmacking food and very courteous and attentive servers. Shoutout to Bimal and Dip. Their gobi 65, hot and sour, noodles and momos are legit amazing. Would definitely visit again.
Best Daal Makhani in the Bay Area. You'll have to wait a bit for it to be served but completely worth the wait. Food quality in general is good. I wish service could be faster but the staff is friendly and polite.
Great food and warm service. Tried the chicken momo and curry, everything tasted fresh and well cooked. Clean place and relaxing atmosphere. Will visit again soon.
This cozy restaurant near Google serves some of the best Indian food I’ve had in California. I ordered the vegan Achari okra with plain rice, and the server recommended ruti, a vegan naan made without milk. Everything was perfectly spicy, delicious, and lightly cooked with just a small amount of oil, which I really loved.
I’ve been ordering from here for a while, but the last two days the butter chicken recipe seems to have changed. I accidentally ordered from the San Jose location and the oil was fully separated from the paste and was chunky and unpleasant. I threw it out and ordered the next day from the Mountain View location and the same thing happened again. Please fix the recipe! This was my go to spot for butter chicken, but might need to find a new one if it stays the same. Momos are pretty good last time I had them too. Edit: back to 5 stars, they fixed the butter chicken consistency
Easily one of the best restaurants in the south bay, if you are looking for an Indian or Nepalese food in the south bay you would be hard pressed to find a better place too. The food is always good and its consistent. The staff such as Bimal are super friendly and the atmosphere is lovely and its always clean. Easily my favorite place for late night dining me and my friends go every week and we never get sick of it as they have so much variety and everything is so good. I usually don’t enjoy vegetarian dishes and stick to meats but all the vegetarian dishes here are just as good as the others. 10/10 if your on the fence about going 100% go you will not regret it
Had a cozy and flavorful experience at Everest Cuisine in Mountain View. If you’re in the mood for comforting Nepali and Indian food that feels like a warm hug, this place is a must-visit. We tried their: • Momo – juicy, well-spiced, and served piping hot • Thukpa – a hearty noodle soup that hits just right • Paneer Tikka Masala – creamy, rich, and full of flavor • Garlic Naan – soft with the perfect crisp, great with the curries • Masala Chai – aromatic and soothing, a great way to end the meal The staff was kind and attentive, and the ambiance was relaxed — perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. If you love bold spices, homestyle food, and warm hospitality, definitely check out Everest Cuisine. Located right in the heart of Mountain View — absolutely worth the visit.
After eating here several times times now and seeing some of the other reviews, I just had to write a review myself. The food here is just incredible. It reminds me so much of the higher altitude Indian food you can only find in Guwahati, Assam, Gangtok, Sikkim, or the hills of Darjeeling. Their biryani has such a depth of flavor, and their mushroom pea curry and meat curries are hard to put down. They actually have chaap here too, and reminds me so much of what you get on the streets of Chandigarh! Finally their momos. Everest momo around here is really good, but this restaurant really focuses on the texture of the meat and thickness of the dough. It’s my favorite here, in my opinion the best and takes me back to India. The “season” of this restaurant is an eternal winter. I know how difficult it is to recreate the same flavors. The spice ratios have to be perfect, and even the smallest mistakes compromise on the final flavor. Thank you for always getting it so right! I’m frankly shocked to see the 3 and 4 star reviews here. And disagree with those who think some dishes are too sweet or too bland. I hope we can encourage more people to try these rare flavors! Recommendations: Goat biryani, soya chaap, chicken momos steamed, mushroom matar, lamb curry, mixed chow mein
The goat is so delicious and the momo are so good. It's our first time to be here and we absolutely love the service and food here

Phenomenal food. So decadent and rich I couldn't even finish everything I ordered. Kitchen was understaffed so food took a bit to come out. Regardless, was totally worth the wait :))

Tried the momo and tikka masala. Everything was delicious. For a first time experience, it was very enjoyable and would come back again.

Momos are delicious. 10/10. You cannot go wrong with any vegetarian momos. Be it steamed, baked in a tandoor, or saucy (Jhol). Breads are well-made to perfection. Curry was good, nothing spectacular. I look forward to trying other curries. The dine in experience was excruciating. We were offered the pappadam immediately after we were seated. We waited 30 minutes for the momos (appetizer) to arrive and another 40 minutes after we finished momos for the main course (1 curry & 2 naan). While we patiently waited 60+ minutes in total for our food, there were plenty of to go orders slinging out of kitchen every 2-3 minutes. I suspect this restaurant prefers takeout (they also offer discounts for takeout if I remember correctly).
Namaste! Chicken steam momo here are good. Aachar is also very tasty. One suggestion I have for owner is if you guys can make momo dough/wrapper thin (patalo) - this momo has potenial to be one of the best momo in bay area. I love it and only request have it from you!
The food was good, and the tandoori momos is an extra deep fried crispy ( a little harder side), tasted ok, and comes with a little bit of noodles. Vegetable fried rice was also ok, do not expect indian masala fried rice taste. Papad eas complementary, there was an offer posted in the table, a 20% discount between 3 to 6pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Will come back again to try more vegetarian food from their huge menu.
A welcoming environment with smiling people and cool music playing throughout. Small and cozy area. Do not expect to have an upscale date night here. Menu is all over the table with huge varieties and they have something for everyone. We were served with water and pappadums with a super yummy chutney as soon as seated. I was craving their Jhol momo from the miltpitas location and got it ordered with some chicken chowmein. HUGE PORTION for the price and tasted delicious! Definitely a regular visit place for Nepalese food. Can never beat their momos.
I tried the momos, Paneer Butter Masala, and Veg Korma. While the momos had a good flavor, they were a bit too oily. The Paneer Butter Masala was excellent, though it had the same gravy as the Veg Korma, which I found to be average in taste. I also sampled four types of bread: Garlic Chilli Naan, Tandoori Roti, Cheese Naan, and Butter Naan. The Garlic Chilli Naan stood out as particularly delicious. The ambience of the restaurant was pleasant, although it did feel a bit crowded. The service was decent.

I am a big fan of hot and sour soup, but that soup served here was boring. The chicken noodles had a nice, spicy flavor, and I would definitely recommend the jhol momo! The naans were airy, stretchy, and the right amount of flaky. The chii chicken was perfectly saucy, with a sweet-ish element. Service was quick.
Gobi 65 2 deep fried cauliflower, soggy, super spicy Fried Chicken Momo 3 deep fried, smaller filling, less oily Chicken Tikka Masala 3 grilled chicken too dry, creamy, flavorful Butter Chicken 4 creamy, tender, flavorful Mango Lassi 3 dark orange
Decent Indian food, but don’t go expecting anything too special. We tried the Aloo Gobi, the Yellow Daal Tadka, the Tandoori Chicken, the basmati rice, and some naan. All the food was fine, but nothing to write home about. The service was friendly and well-intentioned but a bit slow, probably because the restaurant was crowded. The atmosphere was generic, and we felt cold because we were sitting by the door. Prices were fair.
butter chicken is so tender and good but very very greasy. Pieces of chicken are small strips and red which I thought were carrots sticks. The naan was chewy and fragrant which I love.
Everything was wonderful. I have taken veg manchou soup and gobhi manchurian and my husband has tried mutton it was so yum. ambiance was ok the service was good
