Opinions de Papas and Eggs (Mountain View) Mountain View
Love finding a little gem in an area I know nothing. Once again, I had huevos rancheros and they were absolutely wonderful. So much flavor and my wife spoke volumes about the eggs Benedict.
If you’re in Mountain View and craving a cozy, flavorful breakfast, Papas and Eggs is the place to be. The vibe is warm and welcoming, with a quiet atmosphere that makes it easy to chat and relax. One of the coolest parts? You can watch the kitchen crew whip up your meal through the glass — it adds a personal, fresh touch. The portabella mushroom omelet was perfectly cooked, packed with colorful vegetables and paired with seasoned red potatoes and a toasted English muffin. The breakfast burrito hit the spot — hearty, flavorful, and made even better with their savory house salsa. A side of fresh fruit balanced it all out. For drinks, the French Vanilla coffee was rich and aromatic, while the Hazelnut iced latte was smooth, nutty, and beautifully layered — a visual and flavorful treat. Papas and Eggs blends great food, peaceful ambiance, and a fun, open kitchen experience. We’ll definitely be back for more!
Cute breakfast spot with a great menu. Loved their lavender latte. Bathrooms available inside, quick service. Would return. Parking can be tight on popular times but there is street parking available.
Excellentle! I wanted to try this place for a long time & I finally took my boyfriend here this morning & Wow! We love, trying new places to eat. The lattes were on point. We will be coming back It’s such a cute and quaint little place. The name is definitely fitting; I would ask my mom when I was little. Can I have some papas and eggs?😃
One of my favorite bunch spots! I love the green chilaquiles with egg 🥚 and veggie burrito. Best bacon too! 🥓 Bottomless mimosas and good coffee selection. On a warm day, you can sit in the front patio.
Very nice setting and seating area. Ordered Eggs Benedict with Portobello and it was delish!!! The hollandaise sauce was amazing! It was a big breakfast for one person. The buttermilk waffles were soft and good-tasting. The regular coffee was good too. Overall a nice experience having breakfast here.

Had breakfast today at Papas and Eggs, and it was honestly a great experience from start to finish. The staff was friendly the moment we walked in, and the service stayed solid the whole time. We started with drinks — freshly squeezed orange juice and a horchata latte that was on point. For food, I ordered the chilaquiles with steak, and they nailed it. The salsa, the crunch, the seasoning on the steak… everything was exactly how I like it. Portions were generous, the quality was high, and the pricing was excellent for what you get. Definitely a spot I’d come back to for breakfast. Highly recommend!

I ordered brunch from this place through Uber Eats on a weekday morning. I usually prefer going out for brunch, but since it was a workday, delivery felt like the easier option. I went with a classic American-style breakfast that included grilled chicken sausage, roasted potatoes, and two eggs that were almost poached. Everything was perfectly fine, the potatoes were well seasoned and the overall meal was satisfying. I also added a pancake on the side, which was quite standard and nothing particularly memorable.
We were in town and wanted to try a new place to have breakfast. We found this place and decided to try it. For starters, there's not that much parking. Maybe 10 to 12 spaces and after that you would need to park out on the street. After deciding what to get from the menu we ordered something to drink. My wife, our daughter and I had Café de Olla, that we thought wasn't very tasty. Our son ordered the Caramel Ice Latte which he didn't like, it was too strong for his taste. The dishes we had were too plain, not that much taste and the prices a little to high for what you get.
One of good options for brunch in mountain view, Tres leches pancakes ,chorizo chiaquiles and spicy chicken sandwich were all delicious.Coffee was perfect and shakes were yummy .
Friendly, busy breakfast spot in Mountain View. The food and coffee choices are pretty decent. They have freshly squeezed Orange Juice, and their food ingredients seem fresh and well prepared. Some of food has ingredients not on the menu (IE the breakfast sandwich comes slathered with a spicy chipotle sauce) so ask questions if you are particular or sensitive to spicy food. The restaurant is very clean, but some of the booths are older with split plastic seats etc. Parking can be annoying but there is usually something on the streets. The staff is friendly but busy.
Came here on a Saturday morning and really enjoyed the experience! I got seated right away and they had a lot of Good: Portion sizes were good! Especially for the cheap $4 French toast, you should definitely order that. I got the brioche French toast sandwich which is AMAZING the French toast tastes super yummy and in combination with the egg and savory insides it’s just heavenly! The eggs Benedict Florentine is also good, but it is a bit less standout. They also give you a cute bag for takeout! Bad: It is a bit of a wait for the food here, so be ready to wait. Overall enjoyed my experience a lot!
Our waiter Juan was very nice and easy on the eyes. The steak and eggs was the favorite. It was tender and well seasoned. Will come back.
Was honestly pretty impressed by this bacon breakfast burrito. Held it's form perfectly. Lots of egg inside. Nice roll/tightness and tortilla wasn't dry and flaky. Not too salty. Good stuff. The salsa was pretty good too. $16 was steep but at least I had no complaints about the product.

We've been here before and come back regularly. Today we both knew what we would order, and told the greeter so, but the staff went through the usual routine with menus etc. Apart from that, all good. What do we order? Chocolate chip pancakes and vegi omelette. Two quick notes: . The Cholula hot sauce suits me. . The chilaquiles have more vinegar than I like.

Got a bacon burrito from the recommendation of a coworker. The burrito was a good sized burrito with a good balance of egg, potato and bacon. The fruit that came with it was also good. Where this place went from good to great was the salsa they provided. Just the right amount of heat and packed full of flavor.
2 years later I'm sorry to say that this restaurant is not what it once was. I ordered the Brioche Egg Sandwich and it was ok at best. The bread was soggy and the cheese was sweaty, as if the sandwich had been sitting there under a light for a considerable amount of time. Their chilaquiles were ok, not the best. I also ordered a latte that was more cappuccino than anything else. The staff is nice but food took forever and was not good. Sad to see this happen to a place that was once great. I no longer recommend. Original review: I will forever come back for the Brioche Egg Sandwich 🥪! It's a 10/10 for me. I also really enjoyed the way the plates and mugs are specially made for the restaurant and have their cute logo.
The food was good especially the Waffles it only needed a little bit more of the cinnamon butter they use but really taste full. I got the country fried steak and eggs with country potatoes the steak was thin and a little tuff to cut the eggs on the other hand were cook to perfection the potatoes were good too. The only negative thing I really didn’t like was I had a glass of water and I like to wash down my food when I eat and I only got one refill and I had to ask for it then it was lukewarm I ask for cold water and still got lukewarm water disappointed it would be different if the glasses weren’t small but it was ok should of went to Denny’s instead.
Came here for breakfast. Food was good, portion size was good. Service could have been better. It was our first time and the server did not communicate well on the order taking part. We went back and forth a couple of times with him because the instructions on the table clearly said to scan the barcode and order. Anyway, there was a bug in my coffee, he did not rinse my cup first before pouring coffee in it. If it wasn't for the milk, I wouldn't have seen the bug. 👎🏽👎🏽 Food was good though!
It is a gorgeous sunny day and we were hungry. So we thought we would try someplace new! Pappas and Eggs had a 4.3 and so, we drove here; only 9 minutes away! We stood outside of the opening of the patio and luckily saw the sign, telling us to go inside and Log In to the Yelp Wait List. We did, then walked back out to the outside patio. Full house, but our wait was short. We were greeted by name and taken to our table of choice..in the sun; where no one else seemed to want to be, LOL. Water came to the table; but no menus. Yep, this is a place for the young/techies, LOL. There's a square on the table that you can scan, if you have the app for that. However our server was nice enough to find A menu for us, . Ric was excited when he saw Canadian Bacon w/Eggs Benedict; his fave!! Then I saw my favorite, Chilaquiles! But wait...add $3 extra for an Egg?! Ok, this is not every other place, that includes it, no worries. Wait, no Bloody Mary's?! Argh, ok. About 15 minutes later our brunch arrived. His Eggs Benedict looked as it usually does, but with little black olives on top of the hollandaise eggs. We laughed like kids, as they looked like t#ts, LOL! My Chilaquiles had the diced tortilla chips/sauce and cheese in one corner, the Beans separately in another and the Eggs in another. Umm, ok. The food was good. No salt on anything, but utilitarianly; good. Our waiter never came back with the water refill that Ric asked for, but again; he was nice. We enjoyed our spot in the sun with Ok food; but won't be back.

I ordered for pick up; I got there when it said it'd be done. I ended up waiting for about 15 minutes which was no big deal, except that my drinks were already done when I arrived. The hot chai was lukewarm and tasted like milk, and the iced lattes were watered down and the compostable cups were a bit soggy. The lattes weren't good, but this could be because they were sitting a while. We ordered for pickup on Door Dash because the menus were different and the online menu didn't have the chai latte listed. They don't allow customization on there so I asked if I could buy some chocolate chips for the waffles when I got there. There seemed to be some confusion, but eventually it seemed as though he understood and said they'd take care of it. When I got back to work, I opened the 2 waffles and there were no chocolate chips or syrup. There weren't utensils either, but that could be a doordash thing. I tried calling to see if I could return for the syrup and chocolate chips, but there wasn't an answer and it went to voicemail after 2 or 3 rings. The breakfast burrito on the other hand was really good and the packaging was cute. I'm sure the experience would've been much better had I visited in person, but I don't think I'll be returning after 2 experiences like this.
