David "El Gallo" and his restaurant are legendary amongst cyclists tackling the Baja Divide. Great tacos (much better than surrounding establishments that I've tried), and friendly conversation in English and Spanish. David is very gregarious! I am in Vizcaino for a second day due to rain and will be wandering over to Tacos El Gallo for lunch again today. 100% recommendation from me. Edit: - just got an Al Pastor Super Burro and ASADA Torta. Both were amazing (don't judge me, I am a hungry cyclist). - popular amongst locals and visitors.

We had a great experience eating here, the staff was very friendly and the food was super delicious. The owner is very welcoming and was extremely accommodating with my food allergies which made the experience extra special. David (the owner) speaks a fair amount of English and was able to tell us lots about the baja roads and travel. He was very patient while we practiced our Spanish and learned new phrases. He sent us on our way with some local oranges too (that we later shared with new local friends in San Igancio)!
Made a stop here while cycling the Baja Divide. Very nice owners and delicious food! Highly recommend this place!

Really cool restaurant. David “el gallo”, his wife Teresa and sister Alma will welcome you like you’re family. Bonus, David speaks English and also knows to speak slowly in Spanish. It was my first torta and I loved it!!
Daniel the owner and family super friendly. Pastor and Carne asada tacos and salsa were great. Tortillas were unusually good.

Hands down the best El Pastor tacos I’ve had in Baja, Mexico. Elvis was great to talk with and I felt very grateful to eat their delicious food.

El Gallo and his family not only make the very tastiest food, but their attention to their customers is exceptional. We enjoyed the tacos el pastor and tacos asados, wonderful conversation, and a lot of fun. We will stop at Tacos el Gallo any chance we get!
I just happen to pull over and find this spot. Awesome place. Asada meat was perfect. Tacos were perfect. Owner spoke good English. And he even gave me some oranges he personally grows at his house. I recommend to stop here.
Great food. The owner was welcoming and wanted to ensure we ate well. There were 4 salsas to choose from so you could get your level of spicy. In case you prefer to communicate in English, the owner is very capable.
I am riding my bike from Alaska to Argentina and stopped here for food. David the owner is super friendly, and speaks very good English. I had tacos on the first day, it was so good that I came back the second day and tried torta. Delicious! The price is very good too. David also gave me recommendations of some dentists in this town, and even offered to send his daughter as a translator at the dentist. Such a warm and caring family! If you're traveling like me, this is the place to go!
This was my favorite place to eat in all of Baja. The owner speaks great english and always welcomes everyone in with open arms. The welcoming atmosphere and the delicious food make for the best experience. Always a must anytime I'm passing through. The essence of Baja.
One of the best tacos I ever had. The owner David knows how to please his customers. It was definitely my memorable experience in Baja. Make sure try their asada taco! It’s so good!
