David is so welcoming and an amazing cook! He seems to enjoy a chance to practice his English and chat a bit. The grilled nopales side from the garnish bar were soooo delicious.

David "El Gallo" and his restaurant are legendary amongst cyclists tackling the Baja Divide. Great tacos (much better than surrounding establishments that I've tried), and friendly conversation in English and Spanish. David is very gregarious! I am in Vizcaino for a second day due to rain and will be wandering over to Tacos El Gallo for lunch again today. 100% recommendation from me. Edit: - just got an Al Pastor Super Burro and ASADA Torta. Both were amazing (don't judge me, I am a hungry cyclist). - popular amongst locals and visitors.

We had a great experience eating here, the staff was very friendly and the food was super delicious. The owner is very welcoming and was extremely accommodating with my food allergies which made the experience extra special. David (the owner) speaks a fair amount of English and was able to tell us lots about the baja roads and travel. He was very patient while we practiced our Spanish and learned new phrases. He sent us on our way with some local oranges too (that we later shared with new local friends in San Igancio)!

I just happen to pull over and find this spot. Awesome place. Asada meat was perfect. Tacos were perfect. Owner spoke good English. And he even gave me some oranges he personally grows at his house. I recommend to stop here.

I am riding my bike from Alaska to Argentina and stopped here for food. David the owner is super friendly, and speaks very good English. I had tacos on the first day, it was so good that I came back the second day and tried torta. Delicious! The price is very good too. David also gave me recommendations of some dentists in this town, and even offered to send his daughter as a translator at the dentist. Such a warm and caring family! If you're traveling like me, this is the place to go!

Decepcionante, muy malitos los tacos, por 35 pesos esperaba carne mejor sazonada, un servicio deficiente, revolvieron pedidos y tardaron casi 30 min en entregar 8 tacos, les falta mucho, no los recordaría , una pena.
