Old Town Pour House - Naperville

First time visiting Old Town Pour House. It was amazing and our Server Matt was one of the best. Will be back soon. We’re always in the area. We usually stop at White Chocolate Grill. Glad I convinced my husband to try something new.

Portions are large, food is fresh and flavorful, service is excellent! Variety on the menu caters to comfort food and well-loved dishes prepared with their own twist on flavors and ingredients. Spied some tasty dessert options but we were too full to have any on this visit. Just found out they are open for brunch so we’ll definitely be back, breakfast, lunch, or dinner! If you stop in, definitely ask for Jess! If you can’t decide on a dish, she’s got some great recommendations!

Ooh this might have been my best burger experience this year. Outside of the jalapeños themselves, the scorpion burger was just absolutely perfect. Right amount of spice and the fries complimented it well.

First time at Old Town did not disappoint!! Fish Tacos and Southern Mac & Cheese were so flavorful, and the food came out quickly and hot. Drinks were delicious; I highly recommend the Cranberry Mojito. The atmosphere was fun and inviting, the music was just the right volume, and the tables were packed. Our server, Irma, was on point. She checked on our table frequently, and even after we paid our bill she let us know she will be available if needed. I will definitely be returning to try more items on the menu, but the Fish Tacos may be hard to beat.

My husband and I came in for a date night and it was amazing! The beer list is the best I've ever seen and they had great suggestions if you don't know what to get! For food we specifically loved the smoked chicken wings (the mustard is so good), fish and chips and the cookie skillet! If you can, request Cheryl as your waitress! She was amazing! :) We'll be back, especially in the summer for their gorgeous patio!

Old Town Pour House in Naperville is a fantastic spot for food and drinks! The extensive beer selection is impressive, featuring local brews and unique finds. The menu offers a delicious variety, from hearty burgers to tasty appetizers. The ambiance is vibrant and welcoming, making it perfect for both casual outings and special occasions. Service was attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall experience. Definitely a must-visit for anyone in the area!

We met here for a business lunch. The shrimp tacos were spicy and filling! Our service was great too and attentive to our table. I'll be back to try other menu items and maybe grab a beer from the large selection on tap!

One of the best pork chops we ever enjoyed as a family. This is one cut that is not to be missed, if you have the chance. Make sure to ask for Josh. Great service. Phenomenal food. Fantastic atmosphere.

Update: 8 Aug 2024 Very good lunch menu and beverages . Scorpion and Smokehouse Burgers are very good. Neapolitan Milk Stout is excellent. Original: Had a coworker's retire party here. We had finger food and drinks. The area was roped off. Only minor issue was the roped area was across from the bar and didn't allow for much movement around the tables or to easily get at the food area. The Left Hand Milk Stout was great. The selection of beers is wonderful (see photo). Located on the first floor. Handicap parking accessible.

Very nice place to have diner. We were super fast placed. Large choice of beers and cocktails. Menu card offers plenty of good choices too. Food was good and generous. Not too mention the delicious Pretzel bites to share. Kind and friendly service.

I haven’t had so much fun at a restaurant in years. Sarah B was a perfect server, attentive but not overly so. When I ordered my dirty martini she asked if I wanted olives and I said lots! Then I said lots for my birthday, like an olive stuffed olive! LOL joking of course. I couldn’t decide what to get, asked her to order for me- delicious salmon!!! Turns out Matt sprang into action and created an olive stuffed olive for me!! With a birthday candle! We cracked up but I loved it! Sarah B and Matt made our evening, and then she even brought out little pb pie samplers for me and my family! YUM. Sarah B and Matt deserve some giant kudos for making my birthday awesome!!!

The food is very tasty but you need to be prepared that pretty much everything seems to be a little spicy. Not rip your mouth off spicy but definitely there's a kick. Even the tomato basil soup has some pepper flakes that catch you in the throat. Our waitress Sarah was wonderful; gave good suggestions and was all around pleasant. Made the experience even nicer.

Our server was Matt. He was amazing and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu as well as the beer. We tried several different beers - even one he chose for us and everything was delicious! He has a fantastic rapport with every table he waited on. Very easy to talk to and made our experience a lot more fun. We’ll be asking to be seated in his section next time we return.

Old Town Pour House has become a go-to spot for me and my colleagues thanks to its consistently strong overall experience. The menu is solid across the board, the drinks are well-crafted with plenty of options, and the atmosphere strikes that good balance of lively and comfortable. Service is prompt and efficient, even during busy hours, which makes it easy to come in for a meal or hang out after work.

There were four of us ‘older’ folks and we had Campbell who was fantastic! She got our orders perfectly right (even with a few special requests), and was fun with the ‘dad jokes’ that she was subjected to. Honestly everything was great. The hot chicken, the veggie burger, and the special order BBQ salad with a veggie burger sub instead of the chicken. The kitchen got every order correct and everything was delicious. 10 out of 10! On our next trip it was Matt who was our server and he was fantastic too. Love the crew and atmosphere.

Came here with my parents and preschooler. Good and service were great and very kid friendly. Sarah and Matt were excellent servers.

Enjoyed a great dinner with coworkers. The presentation of food was absolutely amazing and could not be more impressed with the amount of beers they had on tap. We had great service and had no complaints with our food. Highly recommend this to anybody visiting or if you have not been to this restaurant.

Zee is the best server ever!!! She is very helpful and attentive. She always came back to ask us what we needed. Extremely great service!! 12/10!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Will be back and I’ll be telling everyone I know to request Zee 😉

The chef selected ribeye was astonishingly good. Seasoned beautifully with a side of sauté, brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes that were seasoned to perfection as well. The potato straws on top as a garnish were also sublime. The fish and chips, Alaskan cod with some of the best we’ve ever tasted Even the appetizer of pretzels with beer cheese were amazing Our server, Michelle was one of the best we’ve ever had in our restaurant experience.

We've been coming here 3x for brunch. They have plenty of beer selections at a reasonable price. Their food menu is also good & affordable. We will definitely come back here again for sure when we are around the area.

Matt was excellent - great service and had a great attitude about our 3 year old’s antics. He placed our to-go order at just the right time before the end of the meal. He even went outside to look for car keys we thought we had misplaced- talk about going above and beyond. Sarah was great also-very attentive with refills. The food was great. I love the blackened salmon salad!

We went there for a company happy hour, roughly 20 of us, and we had Kim as our server. Hands down the best service I've ever seen. Several of us went out of our way to tell her that as well because it truly was the best service. No one ever needed or wanted for anything, she was fun, she was friendly, she was accomodating, and she seemed to never be stressed. If you're having a large group, REQUEST KIM! This is now going to be our new go to spot. Great work by everyone at the restaurant. Also, special shout out to the hostess table. Super friendly, always smiled.

Sarah was our server and was absolutely amazing! We have 2 small kids and she was so accommodating and patient. Such a sweet gal. The food was awesome, wings were SO good.

My server was amazing and we had such a fun time! The playlist was amazing and the atmosphere was so alive, the food was spectacular as well!! Will definitely be coming again🙂‍↕️

Had a wonderful experience tonight, Sarah was a great server! She was very prompt and has a great personality! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was nice. I ordered the fish and chips and she even offered me a to go cup of tartar sauce to go! Can’t wait to comeback!

This restaurant is a little gem in Naperville. Food was wonderful, music was good and not too loud, and the beer on tap menu was huge. All the staff was nice but our waiter did disappear after we paid our bill and I ended up going to the bar for a drink later. Not the end of the world though. Still a great experience

First time here. This place is going to be one of my new regular spots. We came in on a Tuesday night and it was pretty full. We got a high table by the big TV. There are a lot of tvs showing all types of things like the Olympics and basketball and funny internet videos. I had the scorpion burger and it was so good and there are so many beers to choose from. Our stellar server Sarah helped us build flights based on what we requested and all the beers she picked were awesome. She had suggested the burger or the smoked meatloaf as a great first impression of the menu. My brother got the meatloaf and he scraped the plate clean. A lot of the food sounds great and I look forward to trying the seared salmon next time!! (Sarah said it's her favorite:)

The food was amazing and our waitress, Sarah, was very sweet and knowledgeable. We were extremely impressed by all of the dietary substitutions for people who have gluten-free or vegetarian preferences. It’s nice to know. I have a place to go if I want gluten-free pasta or gluten-free hamburgers. That’s rare! Thanks for a great meal!

Stopped in for some drinks and snacks and had a solid experience. The atmosphere is very casual, making it a great spot to kick back. It’s definitely a high-energy environment—it was loud, but still "talkable" enough that we didn't have to shout across the table. One thing to note is the layout; they have several large seating areas, so it’s an ideal venue if you’re coming with a big group. ​The Food: We tried a mix of the menu, and it was a bit of a hit-or-miss situation. While some of the more unique shareables sound amazing on paper, they fell a little flat in execution. Honestly, my best advice is to stick to the "bar bites," especially during Happy Hour. The Fried Pickles and Popcorn Chicken were exactly what you want with a cold beer—simple, crispy, and a great value. The Snickers Pie is also a massive, rich winner if you have a sweet tooth. ​The Drinks: This is where they really shine. They have a massive selection of craft beers on tap (the Maplewood Son of Juice was great). I was also impressed to see several non-alcoholic options, including both NA beers and creative mocktails, which is a nice touch for those not drinking. ​The Verdict: Perfect for a casual group hang or a Happy Hour session. Focus on the drafts and the standard bar snacks, and you’ll have a great time.

Food and service was ok - it was a super busy night with an event on so that could have impacted my experience. Whilst my food came out quick, I thought the chips were slightly cold and the steak was a bit fatty.

Sarah was amazing. She was so helpful and patient with our large party and was so personable!

The Cuban sandwich was very good, the pork was bit on the smokey side but the spicy mustard balanced it nicely. It tasted more like a BBQ sandwich than a Cuban but was very enjoyable. The Goofy Boots IPA was also very tasty.

Have been here several times. Always have enjoyed the food. Fish tacos were delicious and fresh tasting. Fries are crisp and very tasty. Ordered the impossible burger this time and was slightly disappointed. The burger was very thin and the sandwich was mostly lettuce. After removing the lettuce it was a tasty burger. Mentioned the concern to the server and she made it right. I would definitely return for the food.

This place is awesome. They are very well decorated inside, and they have a great selection of craft beer. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The food was also very tasty. It was hard to select my dinner because they had a lot of tempting dishes to choose from. I had the Tex-Mex Mac and Cheese. It was pretty good but lacked a bit of seasoning. The Pretzel Bites were phenomenal. My kids smacked almost the whole basket!I will definitely be coming back to try other items for sure.

Good place to go enjoy a beer, a mixed drink like a margarita and watch a sport game. The beer selection is very extensive and if you take advantage of their happy hour specials, you can save lots of money. I don't think that this location is as nice as the one in Oak Brook. The outdoor patio is also a great addition to the establishment and it gives you the opportunity to enjoy some of the few hot summer days that we get around here. The food is very good, but is also slightly over priced in proportion to the portions being served. The service is always good and they do a good job keeping your coffee and water glasses full. I also think that they need a few more TV's. The layout of the place doesn't have a clear view of the TV's from some angles. I hope they bring the big buffalo shrimp back. I was slightly disappointed to hear that they took out of the menu.

Came here a few times... We live close-by and the 20% off coupon motivated us to give it a try! The food were OK, got the ribs and taco I want...but the food menu were only half a page while the beer menu were 12 pages lol but its a bar food restaurant we knew that coming in :) Its was kinda of a newly hyped restaurant... The good... Beautiful indoor and outdoor space Attentive servers (our server came by three time to check in with us while we were picking out drinks). We went on a Saturday night so it was packed both inside and out! Have a party room ALOT of TVsssss!!! The not so good... The rib we ordered was a little dry... The meatloaf we ordered was a little small... The sandwich ordered was a little spicy but the menu didnt state it was spicy lol The bar-food price is fine but the beer price it a little too high.... Great atmosphere. Great service. I would highly recommend it.

I felt like the appetizers were kind of small for the price, but the flavor was there! The brews were really good and the server made sure to tell us about the specials and happy hour. It was a hopping place at 4:30 pm on a Thursday and the staff was very friendly, it was a nice vibe!

The buffalo chicken dip is so good! The pork chops were good also, but they took it off the menu! They need to bring it back! Our waitress was pleasant and very patient and accommodating with my food allergies. I also wanted a Bellini tea and our waitress was able to whip that up for me since it wasn't on the menu. They have a unique menu with a variety of foods to try. They have a nice brunch menu as well.

The dish looks really good. But, my food wasn't hot or warm, more like cool and the chicken was Extremely DRY it was even hard to cut. The broccoli was cold, mash potatoes would ha been really good if they were hot. The smoked wings were okay.

I was really excited to try this place, especially because I made a reservation for my partner’s birthday. Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. When we arrived and I mentioned we had a reservation, the hostess quickly cut me off and just walked us to the table. I didn’t even get a chance to mention it was a birthday, even though the online reservation asked for the occasion. Our server was not very friendly and seemed uninterested. We asked for water and some drinks, but the water never came. The appetizer rolls we ordered were extremely oily ( they were swimming in oil) and not enjoyable at all. The main dishes were good, but the poor service overshadowed everything. It wasn’t even busy inside, so there was really no excuse for the slow or inattentive service. My partner had to ask again for water, and when it finally came, the server only brought one glass. His beer took about 15 minutes to arrive. When it was time to pay, the server stood right in front of us the whole time, which felt uncomfortable. There was also no mention of the birthday — no small gesture or acknowledgment, even though it was noted in the reservation. I truly regret choosing this restaurant for such a special occasion. Unfortunately, it was our first and last visit.
