Great food selection and ambience! Our waitress was super attentive and accommodating! Def coming back again and again! Oh and Great Craft Beer selection!

We were in the area doing some shopping and looking for a place to eat. Came across Lazy Dog checked out the menu and the food didn’t disappoint. The food was good and the staff was friendly. We will definitely be coming back here.

Had the chance to dine at Lazy Dog in Chicago and it turned out to be a really satisfying experience. The vibe of the place is cozy and relaxed We started with their Pina Colada, which was smooth, creamy, and tropical — not too sweet and had a nice balance of coconut and pineapple flavors. Definitely a great pick if you’re into refreshing cocktails. For the main course, I ordered the Grilled Lemon Chicken — it was juicy and tender, with a subtle citrusy zing that added freshness to every bite. The chicken was grilled just right and paired well with the sides. As a starter we ordered Caramelized Brussels Sprouts. They were roasted to perfection with crispy edges and a slightly sweet, savory glaze — a great side dish even if you’re not usually a Brussels sprouts fan. Service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere felt laid-back yet lively. Overall, Lazy Dog is a solid spot with great food, especially if you’re looking for a mix of comfort and flavor. Would definitely return!

I really liked dining in the patio area with the middle "fireplace" on. Ordered edamame for Starters and the grilled shrimp tacos for the entree. Others in my group ordered the grilled cheese with fries and the chicken lettuce wraps. Service was good and food was good as well. Would definitely visit again during a lunch or dinner.

This location is in Naperville, but I swear it dropped down from Heaven with a recipe book handwritten by God. We started with the Cauliflower Ceviche as an appetizer...yes, Cauliflower Ceviche. I almost fell out of my chair at the first bite. The cauliflower was treated so delicately and had the perfect texture and amount of citrus. I promise that if you close your eyes, you'll be convinced that you're eating shrimp, despite the fact that not one iota of shrimp is on the plate. I was so pleased with that, so we had to try their Crispy Deviled Eggs topped with candied bacon; also, amazing. Moving on to the entrees, the Grilled Lemon Chicken was cooked to perfection. It comes with a cauliflower mash that rivals any potato version I've had. The word "magical" was said several times during our visit. The place had a decent sized crowd but our awesome waiter, JP, made sure to check on us as he navigated the busy dining room with ease. My 50th birthday is next week, and I'm going back there to celebrate! (save a table for me in your section, JP!) Kudos to the wonderful staff at Lazy Dog. Can't wait to return!

The menu is vast and the service is great! I love the patio and the cute fire pit, they have tons of family friendly choices too and bringing our dog along is a huge bonus!

We really like the large variety of different foods & beers and have not been disappointed. Last visit our waiter Nico introduced us to the Beer Club. There was a slight glitch after we enrolled but Manager Kelly took care of everything. She is a real asset to the company with her very friendly disposition and caring attitude! Shout out to Kelly & Nico at the Naperville, Illinois location 😊.

A wonderful restaurant in Naperville. It was cold, the place was crowded and we were told they only had the patio. But it was a nicely heated patio with a nice fireplace. We ordered the a chili tuna bowl, the blackened chicken burrito bowl and soup. All dishes were well cooked and delicious. We also got the kids menu which come with a side and a drink. We also had the kids subdaye. The sever gave us two for the price one. It’s c vanilla ice cream and chocolate and sprinklers. The kids portion size was as big as the non kids portion fit double the price. But the non kids dishes had more veggies. They were nice enough to give us complimentary fries because this was our first time. We will go again.

Solid menu, great service, our party of 3 was seated quickly despite how busy it was on a Sunday during dinner with no reservation. The menu has a wide variety to choose from. Parking is easy. Restaurant has indoor and an outdoor patio for seating.

Caesar our waiter was really great. Our first time here went for a nice girls brunch. They brought us an appetizer which was really good. Our mimosas and food were good too. Nice atmosphere not too bright or loud. Good for conversation. Definitely will go back again!

Oh my lord, this was the best detour I've ever made. The service was amazing and the food was amazing. It was surprisingly packed for the middle of a Tuesday. We got seeded immediately and started looking at the menu. We got a Mediterranean chicken bowl and a bison burger. Since it was our first time, we got a free appetizer. Heidi was super nice and was excited to talk to us whenever she had a chance. The burger was amazing and perfectly cooked. It was sweet and meaty in every way I could imagine. The bowl was so good, the chicken was soft and the sauce was delicious. If I ever find myself out here again, I'll make sure to come back

Out with a few friends and Lazy Dog in Naperville is ALWAYS a great time. Their crispy deviled eggs and a smoked candied bacon old-fashioned are FIRE!! SO MANY tasty items on their varied menu, but the southern fried chicken salad or black+blue burger are my favorites. Kelly & Desiree made the most recent visit a GREAT experience!! Overall… between delicious menu items, friendly (& attentive) staff and timely service, I’ll be back and soon!!

We came to this restaurant a year ago and enjoyed it, so came back while visiting the western suburbs today. Food was great, really nice atmosphere, quick attentive service. There was only 1 hitch, I ordered the fish & chips that was listed on the lunch menu and when I got the bill it was the dinner version. I didn't specify, but if they list it in both places and one is quite a bit more expensive, shouldn't the server ask which I wanted? I think so. I only noticed because the bill seemed high. I did ask and our server just said she assumed I wanted the dinner version. It was 1pm in the afternoon. That's why the service got a 4. Still a great place, will come back, just left a little annoyed.

Sophie really made our night special - very graceful and gave wonderful menu recommendations. Was very fun to catch up with my friend over nice drinks and good quality food. The ambience is casual and pleasant. Quick service. Staff very kind. Not overpriced. Highly recommend.

The Lazy Dog is always a great meal. Their fries are so dang good and I love their shrimp tacos. Kat was our server and she was the sweetest. She took great care of us and the manager Diana gave us some complimentary app/dessert cards just for being here.

Had a great dinner with tasty drinks. Our daughter loves the cheese curds. We got the pork nachos and lettuce wraps and both were delicious. Our server, Bri, was very knowledgeable about the menu and so nice. Highly recommend.

My family and I are new to the area and were looking for a kid friendly/ family friendly restaurant that locals seem to love, to spend our V day together at today. The kids chose lazy dog & off we went. It did take a bit for seating because of the holiday, but we were so enchanted with the place it only felt like minutes, and it just got better & better once we got to our table! Our waitress Janae greeted us & each of the kids directly BEFORE we even opened our menus ( they really loved that personal attention. She told us she would be right back as she was carrying drinks for another table and she did not disappoint. In a matter of minutes she had our full attention again. She began by asking us if we had any allergys while taking our drink orders so she could offer food suggestions. I dont know about you but I can't even remember time when a server even asked us that. It was so refreshing! We also never felt rushed while ordering even though the kids were indecisive as usual, and she was busy as heck. After ordering a few of her suggestions and then getting our food pretty darn quick she was right back a few minutes later to check on us. My husband couldn't believe our luck getting a server who not only anticipated our needs but followed threw imidiatly with all of our littles questions & wants. We even asked her if she wanted a job with our company. & no we were not jokeing.. :)))) All this and the amazing food really sealed the deal for us as you are now our favorite place and the kids are already asking to come back tomarro to see Our server again. We didnt get any pictures of our food, but the kids meals are huge and worth way more then they are charging. My husband had the loco moko that Janae suggested and He said hes never had anything like it and couldnt wait to order it again on a future visit. I had the prime rib dip And it was equally amazing! So Thank you Lazy dogs for the wonderfull food and the amazing service. You made our familly valentines day extra special! & We really really appreciate YOU too Ms.Janae!

I went a few weeks ago with some friends— we were all hesitant as we have never been here, but it did not disappoint!! Emma, our server, was so kind and gave us amazing food and drink recommendations! Everything came out delicious and was quick. Emma was attentive and did a fantastic job making my friends and I have a good experience before we all left for the holidays! Thank you Lazy Dog!

This was our 6th time visiting Lazy Dog, 3rd time at the Naperville location. Each time we have had a great experience. This time Heidi waited on us and made this time the best experience ever. She was so kind and friendly. She always had a smile and made sure we felt welcome. Heidi made sure my daughter had a good birthday experience and surprised her with the Butter cake dessert with a candle. Thank you Heidi!

From the moment we walked in, the energy was fun, welcoming, and relaxed — and the fact that we could bring our dog made it next-level awesome. Dogs everywhere, people smiling, tails wagging… you could feel how much fun everyone was having. What really stood out was the staff. The waitresses and waiters genuinely enjoyed the pets, interacting with the dogs and making everyone feel comfortable and at home. That kind of atmosphere makes the experience even better — honestly, it elevated the night just as much as the food did. And speaking of food — fantastic. Well-done, flavorful, and worth every bite. Great service, great food, great vibes. Block 59 is definitely the place to be, and Lazy Dog is officially on the top shelf for us. If you’re looking for an amazing spot where people, pets, and good times all come together — this is it. We’ll absolutely be back.

Went there yesterday with my boyfriend. SO GOOD! Food was delicious and the environment of the restaurant was great. Our server, Angela, was the best! Very accommodating and knowledgeable of the menu. It was a bit busy but she managed to always check up on us, make us laugh, take our orders quickly and return with our food just as fast. Definitely will be coming back just to have her!

We have come here since before the Block 59 went up. It has always been a good visit. This review is because last night our waitress went above and beyond and deserves a shoutout. Ayesha (not sure if I spelled correctly) was outstanding. She was kind, helpful and went the extra mile all around. We came in and it was somewhat slow and then she got slammed with tables quickly. She still was attentive and was very sweet to our daughter. We had a very pleasant visit and just wanted her to know we appreciated her.

Visited during late afternoon this past week with a friend. I had not been before and was very pleased. The menu was quite extensive. I had the pretzel crusted pork schnitzel that came with warm German Redskin potatoes and a really nice vinegar slaw on the same plate. The pork schnitzel was huge and the pretzel crust was very thick. Almost too much so, but I loved it. I will be going back!

we had a great family experience at the lazy dog. the hosts were kind and patient in accommodating our large party requests. the patio is quite cozy with the central fire pit, and they allowed dogs. I got the pick three: chicken salad sandwich, tortilla soup, and fruit. the ambiance is very warm and welcoming inside as well. I loved the tree trunk lighting features. they have kids menus and an allergy menu as well. highly recommend!

This was my first time ever visiting this location, and we had a wonderful restaurant experience thanks to Kelly, the sub manager. While we were waiting to get a table, they provided us with food, which was incredibly helpful since my children were hungry—especially my very active 17-month-old. Kelly helped us get seated quickly and checked on us multiple times during our meal to make sure everything was okay. She was so kind, attentive, and thoughtful. Her excellent customer service truly made our experience enjoyable, and we will definitely be back.

Came here last Friday with a date, and we had a wonderful time. The host was extremely kind, the place was clean and smelled delicious, and we felt welcomed from the get go. I believe our server was named Emma (maybe Emily! Sorry!!) and she was very professional and personable. Honestly she was very memorable and I wish I remembered her name too! But the food and service were both 10/10!! Take your dates here! and ask for Emma!

I absolutely loved this spot😍...the wait was short for a Friday evening around 6ish...Extensive menu to choose from...I started with a 🍸... the rum barrel punch which was delightful. Appetizer-chose the crispy deviled eggs which have the bacon candy as a topper...they both were quite a palette surprise...a great way to try the bacon appetizer before ordering to see if you will like it...they both were scrumptious and will definitely order it as well the next time. I had the small ribs (sweet & spicy) sauce and unami fries as my main meal which didn't disappoint. Very generous portion. I sampled my friends Cuban sandwich which was hot and seasoned well. Our waitress was friendly, helpful with selections and had the right cadence with checking on us. Good food, service and great vibes, would definitely return.

We had a fantastic experience at Lazy Dog in Naperville! Chris and Aisha were amazing hosts and went above and beyond to accommodate our large group of parents and athletes. They made everything run smoothly and made us feel truly welcome. The food was excellent - fresh, flavourful. The atmosphere was warm, lively, and perfect for a team dinner. Lazy Dog is one of my absolute favorite places! The food is always amazing and consistent. The chicken Thai noodles are so flavorful, and the chicken Alfredo is always creamy and perfectly seasoned. And let’s talk about the banana pudding… OMG. It is the bomb. My mouth is literally watering just thinking about it. It’s the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Great food, great atmosphere, and I always leave satisfied. Definitely one of my go-to spots!

It was my first time here and it was so cozy and made you feel at home. The food was spot on, and so delicious! Our waitress was so friendly and helpful she knew what we needed without us having to ask. The atmosphere is a comfortable outdoorsy style that brings comfort to an everyday life. Next time I'm bringing extra people to show them this place. You've done really well with this place and it'll go far in dinning and customer service.

Great menu, something for everyone. 5:30 Saturday evening, 1.5 hour wait but actually only took about 40 min. Waitstaff was quick and efficient. Expeditors were a bit slow. Food seemed to be backed up in the kitchen but was severe hot and delicious. Will definitely eat here again.

For a Saturday night dinner, it was crazy busy there. Please do a reservation. We were seated late even with a reservation Aside from the busy, the food was great. Great drink selection. Everyone was happy with their selection. Also lots of choices for every palette. Kids menu is also available I'd definitely visit again. May try lunch this time.

I had an allergic reaction!! So this was my second time coming here within the last week. My 1st experience was pretty good , I ordered the pot roast and spinach which was pretty good just needed a tad more salt/seasoning. The service was fantastic and everyone is nice there and it’s pretty cool that they have an area to bring your dog! Now my 2nd experience was pretty darn bad! I had came back to try their pot pie since I had a coupon to use. I got the chicken pot pie and the meatloaf. Well my experience with the chicken pot pie was awful! I’ve never had a chicken pot pit with Mushrooms! I’m allergic to mushrooms!! So the last two days I’ve been dealing with flare ups and I’ve been praying it succeeds considering I have a family reunion this weekend . I call them and they was nice about it and refunded my money with no issues so that was great. Hopefully they will include this in their ingredients list because apparently it isn’t. Now the meatloaf was pretty good , they could leave the fried onion straws lol those aren’t needed. I just wished they seasoned their spinach , it’s so bland. Would I recommend? Yep ! The food is still pretty good and it has a nice atmosphere, I plan to go back one day for their happy hour !

It was okay. Fried devil eggs was interesting but not amazing. Chicken salad was okay. I had huckleberry berry lemonade at first it tasted awful. Like chlorine water and berries. After stiring and letting sit for a long time tasted better. I guess it is a good place to go too. Food prices are pricey.

They have a large outdoor eating area with a fire pit. Indoor seating was good, little bit noisy when busy but that would be expected. They have late hours which is great since it's harder and harder to find late night hours. Food was good, a decent selection of starters, main dishes and salads to pick from. Good selection of alcohol beverages to choose from as well. Service was a bit less than expected.

Excellent service. We went on a weekday so no wait time. We ordered shrimps, hummus, Brussel sprouts and fries. Everything was tasty and crispy. Chips served with hummus were interesting. Although not spicy as it says. They give you 5 different sauces for the table. So you can add a bit of spice but it will be at the cost of loosing the original taste. Overall I liked the place and enjoyed the food.

I went there for a steak but I was totally disappointed. I asked for a medium and it was done a little bit more than medium. Also, bit pricey! I love garlic. The flat iron steak meal seem to have a little bit more garlic than I like. Actually, I didn't feel well after eating only about a third of my meal. I wasn't sure if it was from the overwhelming garlic. I wasn't particularly fond of the potatoes either and ended up throwing the spinach away and not even bringing it home. My bill was about $50 and basically I ate about a third of my meal. I did not have any alcoholic drink, just a regular drink. It was about twice as much as I usually spend at a restaurant. The restaurant was about 30 minutes from my house and I saw it recommended by a few people last week that were commenting on Facebook so I thought I would try it but I won't be back. It's not worth the trip to go an hour travel. I noticed the hamburger wasn't too badly priced at about $15 but I could get a hamburger anywhere so I decided to go with the steak. I was actually hoping for ribeye steak over flat iron steak but it was not available. Only a flat iron or New York was the only choices I had. I did have an orange/cream soda which was good, but tasted more orange than cream. We also ate on the patio so I'm not sure about the atmosphere inside. There was a nice breeze on the patio and was enjoyable.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this location for months since moving back to the area and typically visit at least once or twice a week. I even joined the rewards program recently because I love the food and the atmosphere when dining in. Unfortunately, my experiences with takeout haven’t been as great. A week ago, I had an issue with my order, but the manager handled it well and provided a refund, which I appreciated. However, my most recent takeout order had multiple issues, and the quality of the food just wasn’t up to the standard I’ve come to expect when dining in. I would still recommend this location for dine-in service—it’s consistently great. However, as an autistic person who sometimes prefers the comfort of takeout, it’s disappointing that I no longer feel confident in ordering to-go due to the inconsistency in food quality and service.
