Great place for comfort Italian food. Service was quick, attentive and friendly even though the restaurant was full. Food, as always, delicious. Good portion size. Huge meatball. When we're in the area, Maggiano's is among the first in our consideration set when we're ready to eat. The lemon cookies are a favorite way to top off the meal and easily sharable for everyone.

Excellent food and atmosphere for my wifes birthday. Our waiter was very enthusiastic and made it enjoyable. Great meal and will be coming back. (The sweet treats for her birthday is a must have, very addicting)

Just had an incredible dinner at Maggiano's Little Italy in Naperville! 😍 The Chicken Francese was absolute perfection – tender chicken, light egg batter, and that lemony white wine sauce was bursting with flavor. Perfectly cooked, not too heavy, and paired beautifully with their garlic mashed potatoes. Our server was super attentive and the cozy Italian vibe made the whole night feel special. Already planning my next visit! Highly recommend Maggiano's Naperville for date night or family dinner! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Gabbi was absolutely amazing! We came in for my husband’s birthday lunch and she was delightful. Great bartender, very personable and pleasant. We love coming here!

Had a wedding rehearsal dinner in the banquet area. Staff and servers were great. Food was great. I definitely would recommend this to anyone interested in hosting a function/party. Our 5-course dinner was fabulous and plentiful. There is a side entrance for Banquet events where you can unload any decorations, and avoids going through the main entrance. Handicapped parking available. No handicapped assisted entrance.

I recently had the chance to photograph a wedding event at Maggiano’s Little Italy, and I was thoroughly impressed. The staff was fantastic—super attentive and accommodating, and they let me use the entire space for photos which made my job so much easier. The food? Absolutely amazing! Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. This venue is perfect for wedding rehearsals, receptions, or wedding parties. It’s also incredibly photo-friendly; no matter where you shoot, the space looks classy and elegant. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a warm, welcoming venue with outstanding service and great food!

Everything was absolutely superb, our calamari came back cooked less than our expectations, the chef came to our table and with hesitation or reservation made our order whole.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night. The service and food were great. I highly recommend the Chicken Parmesan.

Wonderful! We went because, it was my 59th birthday today. I had leftover Tiramisu for breakfast with my coffee.

We had the most wonderful experiences, starting with the best greeting from Tommy, the manager! After a long day at work, his warm personality, genuine kindness, and perfect smile were such a delight. He truly set the tone for an amazing evening. Our server, Lexi, was equally fantastic—so attentive and kind, and she recommended a wine that paired beautifully with our meal. The entire experience was simply lovely, and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you for making our visit so special!

We celebrated our daughter’s birthday dinner at Maggiano’s in Naperville. Our server, Sarah, was very attentive and friendly. She gave great recommendations on both the dishes and the drinks. We all enjoyed our meals, and everything tasted fantastic. The whiskey pour was especially generous — definitely a plus for me!

We have always loved Maggiano's. Our server, James, was a blast. Very friendly and funny. Love that they now shake your Martini at the table, and the Old-Fashioned is brought to the table in a smoke box. The food was awesome!

I’ve been here several times before, but it’s been a while since I’ve visited this location. I must say that the level is service here is superb. I was celebrating my 20th year anniversary with my wife and coming here made our night. Even the manager came by to talk to us and congratulate us. I haven’t even talked about the food yet. The food was great. We had the blackened salmon with crispy shrimp on mashed potatoes. We will be coming back more often now.

Review is based on a banquet event (not regular dine in service). What an experience! It was a 3 course meal in which the servers would bring big plates of food to your table. Then at your table, you would pass around the food. I really liked all appetizers - stuffed mushrooms, calamari and Italian tossed salad. I would have been content with those alone! Then to the second course: the Parmesan-crusted cod and mushroom ravioli was absolutely delicious!! I would order those in a heartbeat if I were to visit here again. It was the best cod that I have ever had! Our table loved the fish so much that we asked the servers for seconds and thirds. As for the desserts - I thought the tiramisu was under par. I’ve definitely had much better from other places. But the Gigi’s Butter Cake totally made up for it. This was amazingly good! The servers here were also great. I know we had some people sitting at my table who were a little demanding & impatient - but these servers handled it very well. Overall an amazing dining experience!

This place is amazing 👏 I could even say more than amazing and beyond. I don't even know how to explain myself, it was my first time going to this restaurant with my boyfriend and he loved it 2. Everyone was so nice starting from the 👨‍🍳 chef he came to talk to my boyfriend about his allergies to shrimp, which was a surprise because no other restaurants do that for their customers. Our waitress was super nice and sweet she's the kind of person ❤️ who knows how to treat a customer for the first time in their restaurant. Thank you!!

It was my 1st-time visit with the family at Maggiano's after church. It was 11 of us. We made a reservation before we got there. We were seated and had two servers for our table. We ordered family style, and wow, how comprehensive the food was. Gio and Sam were fantastic and catered to even my 4yo nephew, a very picky eater. It was my sister's birthday, and they brought out a nice surprise for her. The atmosphere was good, and so was the company. I would visit again.

I usually get take out here, but it's always great. The portions are right, the food is cooked well, and it's packaged well. They wrap things, put hot with hot, cold with cold, give you enough butter and bread. There's a separate entrance to keep things easy also, and they do curbside. To update this review, I've ate in a few times on Sunday for lunch. I have to say, the servers are what you would expect at a high-class restaurant. They're a very nice and friendly and very attentive. The food is good, but I really like their Seafood. The portions for the kids meals are great. My son got a kids pizza but it looks like an entree for an adult. This is one of my favorite restaurants and I thoroughly enjoy it.

A great place to celebrate any occasion. The place has great atmosphere, we had a rehearsal dinner going on and lots of people around us celebrating birthdays. I had the mussels and took my time to enjoy it. Loved the pomegranate martini as well.

10/10 experience, will definitely be back again. Went to the Naperville location and our server, Kailey, was very attentive, friendly, and helpful!! It was our first date night out since having a baby and she made it a blast. Food was delish!!

We are from out of state so we only get to have dinner when we are in Illinois. We sat at the bar and had the best time. We had the pleasure of meeting Gabby and Joey. What a team! Gabby waited us first but Joey teamed up with her to make sure we were taken care of throughout the the night. Gabby, you are absolutelytbesweetest

We have our annual Friendsgiving dinner every year here and I have to say they really improved since the first year we did it. They added more staff in recent years to be available because we need at least two servers for our big group. These servers were very attentive and really truly ran back-and-forth to get everything on time and correctly.

Our reservation was for tonight at 4:45pm for 13. Major shout out to the hostess, manager, two servers and bus boy. They were beyond accommodating and genuinely cared for our table. The food was excellent hot and generous portions. Wonderful evening, thank you guys😁

--- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ MAGGIANO’S – NAPERVILLE A meal I’ll never forget I’m visiting from Los Angeles, and let me tell you—Maggiano’s Naperville made me feel like I was coming home to family. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by Mercedes, the superstar maître d’ with the warmest smile in Illinois. She gave me a full tour of the restaurant and the banquet rooms, told me about their busy evening, and shared a bit about her three years with the company. An absolute gem—professional, kind, and just a joy to meet. Then there was Tiffany, the manager holding down the fort like a true pro. Diligent, personable, and incredibly generous with her time. We bonded over being parents, she bragged (rightfully!) about her rockstar softball‑playing daughter, and gave me such genuine insight into how Maggiano’s keeps elevating its experience. She made me feel like I wasn’t dining alone—I was among friends. At the bar, Joey and Jackson took fantastic care of me. Both total class acts. They talked me into the filet—and thank goodness they did, because it was absolutely delicious. Between them, the salad, and that incredible bread, I was eating like a king. Speaking of the Maggiano’s salad: adding avocado? Brilliant. Honestly, I could’ve left after bread and salad and still been delighted. This dinner truly meant a lot to me. Traveling can feel lonely, but Maggiano’s Naperville made me feel seen, welcomed, and taken care of. It became a memory—one I’ll keep with me long after I’m back in LA. Huge kudos to Mercedes, Tiffany, Joey, and Jackson. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Can’t wait to come back.

Our family had Thanksgiving dinner at the Naperville location. Jackson, Joey, and the rest of the staff were friendly and very attentive. They had the whole process down like clockwork. The food was excellent and well proportioned for our group. A+ all around and many thanks for making our holiday better!

Food was.. spectacular! Everything was delicious!!! Service was awesome! One thing to note.. if you have a picky child.. be warned.. the kids pizza comes with mozzarella cheese, and they sprinkle parmesean cheese on top... my nephew wasn't too keen on the fragrant parmesean cheese... lol atmosphere is awesome. Drinks were delicious. Everything was awesome. Definitely coming back!

Not only is their food just as good as what I expect from visiting Maggiano's in other states, but they're still playing Christmas music during the 12 days of Christmas - for those of us who celebrate with family the week after the holiday, that's a warm and welcome touch. Gaby and the staff in the bar are very friendly and professional. The "Grand" Chicken Parmesan is a wonderful taste of home.

We went here to celebrate my little sister’s birthday, and the service was absolutely amazing. Mercedes was the host that greeted us and she was so funny and immediately made our experience fantastic. Our server was Daniella and she was always checking on us, made sure everything was tasting good, and even stayed a few minutes to make conversation with my dad. The food was amazing as always, but Mercedes and Daniella made us want to come back sooner rather than later :)

Just wrapped up here for dinner after a memorial, party of 13. Great food, both our servers were great, attentive. Our 7 month old was way past her bed time so naturally started to lose her shit. Multiple staff that passed us offered us help or asked if we needed anything. Even let us hang out in the back banquet room while she screamed bloody murder. Would go back, great experience!

Drop on in for a dessert and a drink! The music makes for a lovely backdrop that doesn't hinder conversation with the volume. Our server Karina did a great job of checking in at great intervals. Never felt rushed, nor did we have to scan the room to catch a servers eye at any point. Great balence for a lunch date ;)

I Went yesterday for dinner at Maggiano’s Little Italy and honestly had a great experience. Amanda was super nice, greeted us with a smile, and made us feel welcome right away. I ordered the shrimp pasta and the portion was huge if you get a full pasta, it can easily feed two people. We had plenty left over. The crispy mozzarella was fire, easily one of the best appetizers we’ve had. Service was great overall and everything came out hot and fresh. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.

I visited Maggiano’s Schaumburg on Friday, December 5th, and absolutely loved it. The food, the service, and the ambiance were all top-notch! Everything was flawless, and I left genuinely impressed. So when I found out our team holiday dinner would be at Maggiano’s Naperville, I was thrilled — and they still managed to exceed the already amazing experience I had in Schaumburg. The food was fantastic, the staff was incredibly welcoming, and the entire evening was perfect from start to finish. Both locations delivered exceptional service and unforgettable meals. 1000/10 — I will definitely be visiting again soon! Farrah – Chicago

We were here for a company holiday party. It was a delightful experience. Our table helpers - Jasmine & Marcel - are two of the kindest, most accommodating people I've ever met. They went above and beyond helping people and keeping things moving. I will absolutely ask for one of them when we return. The food was good, but it was really the service that stood out and made the evening special. They were professional and friendly. A perfect mix. They really know what they're doing.

The staff is wonderful. I will say it again the staff is wonderful. I had an amazing time there the other night. 3 birthday party going on and they didn't miss a single beat. Christmas music on the perfect tone. If you were looking for a review to help you decide wether to come here or not? Let me speak to you directly and say, yes, this is what you are looking for. 7 stars for the staff and your wonderful sous chef who made my NY strip steak 🥩 perfect.

My family made reservations for a Christmas Eve luncheon here. There were 20 of us. We were seated on time and immediately tended to. We could not have been happier with the food, service, or cleanliness. Everything was really amazing. We will definitely be back next year!!

Gorgeous restaurant. Beautiful large dining area. Definitely the place to go if you’re craving Italian. Staff was very friendly and the dishes came out fast and fresh. The pasta dishes were fantastic. Waiter was very friendly and kind. Knocking off a star as water was not refilled. Waiter could have been a bit more attentive but otherwise a great experience. The dishes are a great portion and made fresh.

M

The food was good, the decor was fine, and the bartender (I ate at the bar) seemed friendly enough. The portion sizes were large enough that I ate most of it, but couldn't finish the last bit - which is better than eating and still wanting more. I had the lasagna and tiramisu and would recommend both.

5 Stars for the Food, but Room for Improvement on the Atmosphere We recently visited Maggiano’s Little Italy and the food was absolutely delicious! My daughter loved the lasagna, and my salad was fresh and full of flavor. We also tried the pasta with meatballs, which was a big hit—definitely a five-star meal. However, the overall experience could’ve been better. While we were there, the staff kept rearranging the seating for larger groups, then putting everything back the way it was just a few minutes later. It made things feel a bit chaotic and uncomfortable. For me, going to a restaurant isn’t just about great food—it’s also about enjoying the atmosphere. Also, my iced tea glass had a big crack in it, which made me a little paranoid. Thankfully, it was just a crack and not missing any pieces. I’m sharing this because I really like the place and hope our next visit will be even better!

M

Although it’s a bit overpriced and expensive for an Italian restaurant, I have a lot of positive feedback to share. First of all, they were super kind to us and patient with my family, which is always very good to see. And the sous chef came to check up on us and describe some of their cooking procedures and ingredients, as we have some dietary restrictions that they were able to accommodate. As far as the food goes, it’s pretty positive from my perspective. Big portions as you’d expect, with some dishes being fantastic and others being just okay. The cod was super well seasoned and might just be some of the best cod I’ve ever had. The salad and appetizers (bruschetta, calamari, and zucchini) were kinda bland and not worth the cost for them. Cannelloni was pretty average but had a solid portion size. The desserts were extremely sweet, especially the cheesecake and the crumble. On the flip side, we did have a few small issues here and there, but nothing that’s unexpected (malfunctioning olive oil bottle, no parmesan cheese in the shaker, had to request a drink 3 times before it was finally remembered and brought to the table). Overall, it’s a nice experience but a bit time consuming for dinner (took exactly two hours for us to be seated until we finished dessert and left)

My experience started off pleasant. The food was good and hot. It was a great recommendation. My server America was professional and attentive, in the beginning. My problem occurred near the end of my meal. I asked for my food to go. America shared that it was normal to take food to go because of the quantity and instead of America taking my food and packing it up, she place the togo container on the table for me to pack. I inquired about the process to see if anything changed. Eric (server) informed me that packing food ceased after Covid. Shortly afterwards, America took the customer's food from the table next to me to the back. She packed it up and brought it back to the customer. Eric had done the samething to the group in the corner on the right side of me. Leaving me dumping food in the bowl myself. I wasn't pleased. Once I left, I realized that America didn't give me card back. I went back in and waited about 5 to 10 min before they addressed me. Eric continued to pleasant and was able to provide me my card. I felt ashamed and out of place as a paying customer. I tipped America 20% before I realized I was not treated the same as the other customers. May I add, I was the only Black customer there and it appeared to ne biased

The bread was not as good as it was when you could dip it in the olive oil. The bruchetta was terrible. It used to be worth driving an hour and a half for. We couldn't eat it. I have never had cheese on it. The bread was too thick. The chicken was not as good. It was very thick. The waitress made it a very pleasant day. She was nice, fun and extremely efficient. We spent $400.00 for 6. We did not enjoy it like we used to. I'm not sure if we will make the trip again.

We placed a pick-up order, and the pick-up process itself was absolutely flawless, but the ordering experience was a complete nightmare. The female employees who handled the carry-out phone calls were extremely rude, gave inaccurate information, and were unwilling to check details when they didn’t know the answer. I had to call three separate times before finally reaching a gentleman named Mark, who was kind, knowledgeable about the menu, and ensured we received exactly what we were trying to order. Mark and the pick-up staff deserve five stars, but the female employees responsible for taking pick-up orders deserve zero. Maggiano’s needs to do a better job hiring and training staff who actually care about providing good customer service. I am a female & the 2 who answer for pick-up, it was very obvious that they could absolutely care-less!!

For those who have never been to Maggiano's, you will probably be happy with the experience. For those who are long time repeat patrons, you may be very disappointed, as we were. My husband and I have been coming to Maggiano's annually for quite a few years as a joint celebration of our Birthdays. We have always excitedly anticipated the Italian bread with Olive Oil, the amazing salads, our entree, and the amazing dessert. Over the past several years, we also were thrilled with their special deal to choose one entree to eat immediately, and to be able choose a 2nd entree to bring home. This year however, we were extremely disappointed with so many unfavorable changes. The first of several disappointments was the fact there is no more Italian bread with Olive Oil. Instead, we were offered the equivalent of warm Hawaiian bread/rolls slathered in some sort of oil or butter. They were ok, but very average. Secondly, our salads were extremely disappointing. My husband has always ordered the Caesar Salad and my favorite has always been the chopped salad...they were always amazing. This year, almost inedible. My husband said the lettuce in his salad was very soggy and almost mushy. My chopped salad tasted nothing at all like the chopped salads I've loved every year in the past. Different ingredients, and so overpowered by some sort of very pungent olives, that I couldn't even finish it. Thirdly, my Lasagna also tasted different than past years, and not nearly as good. My husband did say his spaghetti was very good, just like years past. The final disappointment was that they no longer offer the special in which you can choose a 2nd entree to take home. The prices have also increased significantly. One piece of lasagna is now $27...ridiculous. The only positives were that the service was great, and the apple dessert with ice cream is still as amazing as always, and was our favorite part of this meal. After this disappointing experience, we have already decided this was our last time and unfortunately, will not be back.

S
Stevi Valois

Took off the gnocchi, cool. But to take off the bread, olive oil, and cheese, for over baked Hawaiian rolls and butter? Not cool. Couldn’t wait to go in for a glass of wine, bread, zucchini frite, and whatever our choice of main dish would be. I don’t know what’s going on but menu has shrunk and the best items have been taken off. Service is great but the food. Just. Why? Took our bottle and left over frite’s to Texas road house.

Maggianos was ALWAYS my birthday and anniversary go to. ALWAYS ordering Chicken Parmigiana. This time around the sauce tasted like the cheapest grocery store can you can get. On top of that, the delicious bread with oil and parmigiana I always loved, no longer a thing. Switched it for sweet butter bread that we only got one serving of. Definitely a disappointment for the food we used to crave and always have many times a year. Sad to say we will be finding a new birthday and anniversary destination. For the rise in prices I was expecting and hoping for the same delicious quality Italian, that was completely let down. Such a disappointment

We've been going to Maggiano's for probably over 20 years. I cannot believe how much they have cheapened the experience. This is supposed to be an Italian restaurant. They served us dinner rolls with whipped butter. No crusty Italian bread, no olive oil or Parmesan on the table. No salt or pepper shakers either. The steak medallions I had were of mediocre quality. My wife's entree was also just mediocre. The mashed potatoes seemed like they were instant. The prices are much higher and the quality is significantly lower. The service was excellent and the staff at the front were very friendly. The appetizer, drinks and desserts were also very good.

M
Morad Askar

$218 in a doordash order. The large $12 salad that was in the picture was basically the size of a fist when it arrived. The shrimp was dry. The chicken was overcooked. Worst of all, Maggiano's, has represented great food at great value to me for 30 years. Now it represents greed and shrinkflation. The amount we got for the cost was embarrassing to explain to our guests. Never again. Rest in peace.

S
Steven Williams

The food was not good, I've been here before and the food was amazing. I dont know what it was this time but everything was very dry, the food didnt have any great flavors. For the price we paid it was very disappointing. The service was amazing though it definitely was the only thing that made the experience enjoyable
