Not the most amazing sushi I've ever had but tasty! All you can eat is $29/person and two people can probably eat 8-9 rolls and a few sides. All the essentials are in place: miso soup, crab rangoons, and spring rolls.

Order off a sheet and sushi comes in 5 minutes. It's now $16.50 for lunch, $21.50 for dinner. Nice to see more fish than rice. Good mackeral, tuna, salmon, surf clam. Not a fan of the squid (Ika). Chefs were serious about their work and attentive to us at the counter. Aesthetics pretty good except for some out-of-place items: plastic wrap boxes on the counter and bleach bottle under the bathroom sink, etc. Plenty of seats at Saturday lunch.

First time here. Nice menu, service was good. The price wasn't too bad, but they have a lot of options. Some of the places that charge 16$ or whatever are pretty limited. I had crab rangoon and pot stickers. The pot stickers were deep fried which I'm not a fan of. I tried the spicy shrimp lollipos i think they are called and they were tasty. The rolls were pretty good, they were enormous. I totally order way too much. One of the pieces literally had me thinking i was playing chubby bunny. The rolls were good but the crab had a funny after taste. The tuna that was on my roll almost had the consistency of watermelon which kind of threw me off. The roll i had with mango on it, the mango wasn't ripe which doesn't taste nearly as good. Overall it was a pretty decent meal, and i think I'd try it again. Word of warning, order one less roll than you normally do, you can always order more! Thanks guys!

Came here with a group of eight people and we were only allowed two sheets to tally what all of us wanted which was kind of annoying. We were given cheap paper plates and only one free water bottle per person. We definitely got more sushi than we ordered but it was good. The lobster puffs, fried jalapeños and egg rolls were delicious. The miso soup was kind of watered down and the fried rice was a little salty. They charge about $1 for every roll you don’t finish. The quality was so-so, very average. The server was very friendly and the restaurant was clean and spacious. The parking lot is very congested and it took a lot of time to find a spot.

Wanted to go to another sushi place but that was closed so decided to give this one a try. I wasn’t the happiest with my overall experience and don’t think I would go back considering how many other good sushi places there are around me. We sat down for the app you can eat sushi buffet and quickly learned that the special rolls, like the sweet potato roll, are only included in the dinner price. Fine, I figured I’ll pay the extra $$$ and get what I actually want. The problem is that everything was sort of bland. The mizo soup was watery, the sushi itself tasted like plastic and not good at all. The service was great, friendly and kind, so was the actual venue and atmosphere, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the way the food tasted and probably won’t be going back. 🍣🍱😔

I’d driven by Sakura my entire life here in the Chicago suburbs but never once have stopped until today. Entering the facility it seemed very cluttered inside like they were possibly making renovations? It was kinda confusing but the restaurant is to the right when u walk in. The waiter/host sat us down and you could immediately tell the wear and tear of this restaurant hasn’t been fixed over the years. Frankly, I couldn’t care less about the environment… how about the food? The menu is pretty big, confusing with the labeling. We figured it out in no time and we ordered a lot of food. I wanna say the crab Rangoons were actually quite nice! They have a sugary twist to them and came out scorching hot which I loved. They did have a fishy taste which I didn’t mind. Now to the sushi. First off, I am a huge AYCE Nigiri fan but also I have had Michelin grade sushi before and both always excite me. I love eating 30+ pieces but what prevents me from doing this sometimes is poor quality fish. The super white tuna which is my absolute favorite and the majority of my order was watery and not the fresh tasting. It was more so the texture being so slimy and wet rather than the taste. I was beyond disappointed! The salmon nigiri was just a faded white color which looked very atypical. Its taste was alright. Their sushi rolls were nothing special as well. They were loaded with rice but lacked flavors. I was very disappointed with my experience overall. To finish up the meal I complained to my waiter and I want to emphasize how well and kind this waiter conducted himself amidst my issues. He was beyond kind and should definitely be valued here at this restaurant. I would 100% give them another shot because I do believe they were good at some point. But what I ate today was an incredible let down.

The place was so filthy I even questioned myself if I wanted to continue to sit there and dine but it was too late because I had already ordered. The restaurant is so run down I can’t believe the management lets it stay like that. I was here a year ago and it was nothing like it was today. The sushi was so mediocre. The first red flag was the front door.

What a rip off. Fish was poor quality and not fresh. Rolls barely had any fish. Eel sauce was not real eel sauce typically found at other Japanese restaurants. This was our first time and shall be our last.

I wish we would have read the reviews beforehand. I can not in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. We went here as a group of 4 people and 3 of the 4 people left with bubble guts. I was spared as I was the only person to not eat sushi. We'll start with the atmosphere. The place needs a serious cleaning and attention. No soap just hand sanitizer in the bathrooms, had to search for paper towels to dry my hands after washing them because they were on a shelf to the side of the sink. There was toilet paper on the floor and the toilet was representative of bubble guts my friends left with because it was all over the bowl. Just wanna elaborate this was men's and my friends didn't do that it was like that already. This would be kinda understandable if they were busy but we were one of 2 tables. When my sister and gf went to the bathroom and walked out my sister saw a large bottle of bug killer behind a short wall. Then when she got back to the table we looked at reviews and saw the review about the roach from 2 weeks prior. Next the service, waitress was very nice but not attentive. Never checked back on our table to see if we needed anything and we had cups and small dishes piled on the table. She just kept starring over but never coming over. Once we got our food that was it, no more drinks or anything else and most of the time she was in the back in the kitchen so we couldn't even call her over if we wanted. Lastly, the food. Everyone that got sushi ended up with bland sushi and bubble guts. They couldn't even finish their food. Me, I had to keep changing the dish I ordered because there are tons of items on the menu that I guess they no longer offer. I settled for the chicken katsu, which took nearly 20minutes possibly more to come out and it was luke warm and bland. There are other small things that would feel nit picky so, I won't state them. What I will say is that they did not give our group the happy hour discount that was stated.

I don’t recommend this spot , this spot hygiene is so disgusting. I would love coming here because of the price of all you can eat and food was good as well for cheap sushi but the spot was disgusting, I asked for a cup of water and I got served a cup of water with a roach in it, as well as seeing a roach run across , was so disgusting to me , made a complaint and I didn’t receive anything and had to pay full price for the meal , this place needs to get exterminated.

The sushi was curled up and dry and not even clinging to the rice bed as it should. The seafood appeared poorly stored, and worst of all the fish eggs wrapped in seaweed were bitter! The bathroom floor was sticky, unhygienic. Save yourself this unappetizing experience and find a different restaurant.

Well I had high hopes for this restaurant especially because me and my boyfriend absolutely love sushi. However, the experience was not as pleasant. So we ordered a ton of food and it’s because we are grown adults. The waitress looks at us and says YOU ORDER TOO MUCH, MAYBE TAKE SOME OFF BECAUSE IF YOU DO NOT EAT ALL WE CHARGE YOU. This statement was insulting because first of all we are not children and this wasn’t our first rodeo. What happened when our food arrived was even more awkward and insulting. I know exactly what we ordered and it was like they just brought out whatever they wanted as if we wouldn’t notice???? Needless to say after that insulting treatment no I don’t think I will ever return. It’s all you can eat I get that but I am the actual paying customer MAYBE SERVE ME THE FOOD I ORDERED. Not to mention the god awful sewage smell coming from where the food was being prepared when we were leaving.
