The bone broth was my favorite surprise at Cafe Roze. It was warm and flavorful - and just the right addition to my simple breakfast of eggs, bacon and roasted tomatoe. I also had the cafe roze latte which was floral and well spiced. My friend enjoyed the Roze bowl that included quinoa, lentils, beets, kale, and a lovely beet tahini. Our server was delightful and accommodating. The café itself has ample seating, but gets busy so a reservation is a good idea.

Excellent little spot after leaving the airport! Very unique dishes. Excellent taste! Fresh ingredients. The drinks were amazing and specially made. All of the juices used in them are hand made. Service was perfect and the bartender was on point.

When aim in town, this is a must visit. Breakfast or dinner, you’re in for a treat. The menu is unique and fresh. My daughter ordered a bone broth because she was feeling a little under the weather and wanted to go back everyday after for more. The waffles are unassuming but full of flavor- highly recommend. The menu rotates frequently, keeping you guessing and looking forward to new seasonal flavors.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A true hidden gem! Cafe Roze is such a small gem with an amazing vibe, cozy, stylish, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The ambience strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and chic, making it ideal for brunch, lunch, or even just a coffee break. The food was absolutely delicious! The Manchego gnocchi was rich, comforting, and full of flavor, while the avocado hummus was fresh and perfectly seasoned — both dishes were top-notch 😋. Everything from the service to the presentation shows great attention to detail. Definitely a spot worth visiting again and again!

Everything was executed perfectly at happy hour. The oysters were fantastic, the shoestring fries were perfectly crunchy, the crudite was gorgeous and fresh, and the martinis (we tried four between us) were superbly balanced and flavorful. Warm and friendly service, immaculate light n airy bar/cafe vibes. We'll be back!!

The atmosphere was great, the service was good, especially for East Nashville. The food in general was unique and high quality. The bacon was great, my wife loved her meal, but I hated the waffle. However, I think it tastes just how stout waffles taste.

Best smashburger in Nashville. Amazing fries and the staff is really friendly. Really clean and cute.

This was a fabulous little restaurant. Easily made reservations online. The mezcal cocktail is amazing and every dish was super delicious! I don't even know what to recommend between all our dishes because they all were wonderful. I did particularly enjoy the kale in the chicken paprika dish though. Oysters and fries were delish too. Oh, and I got a maple nutmeg steamer to go. Heavenly! Highly highly recommend. Server was great too. My only complaint was that it was pretty chilly in the restaurant. Also, the portions are not large (they're what you should actually be eating) so if you're super hungry, get a few sides!

We're already planning our next trip centered around this cafe. That's how good it is. The Roze Latte was beautiful and delicious. The black coffee was abundantly refilled and satisfying. The stars of my choosing were the ethereal bone bone broth served in a coffee cup. May I have another please? The Roze Bowl left me speechless once it was presented; the beautiful pale pink swath of beet tahini on the side of the bowl paired with a stack of lentil/quinoa/ pickled beets/ carrots/micro greens/zucchini was a delight for the eyes and palate. The salty turmeric egg brought the whole dish together. My husband said the egg sandwich was "Fabulous! The salad that came with it was outstanding." The staff were all very friendly from the moment we walked in on a Wednesday morning. They remained genuine, caring, and helpful throughout our meal. I only wish we could eat more from the menu items but that's another trip from Denver to Nashville that we'll have to make. Yes, just for this cafe.

In love with this little brunch place! We enjoyed our brunch on a not so busy week day. We ordered their lentil bowl, waffle, fries and a latte. Everything was delicious. The lentil bowl was really flavourful - I guess they cooked lentils in some kind of curry sauce - super tasty. Waffles were great, latte and fries were spot on. Service was amazing. There is free street parking nearby. We had a great time. I am legit planning my next trip to TN just so that I can eat here again!!

Cafe Roze is exactly what my wife and I were looking for during our stay in Nashville. First off, the wait staff are incredible here. As soon as you step foot in the door they're either there to greet you with a smile on their faces or their at least waving hello to you from across the room. The atmosphere is so relaxing (we opted to dine outside and enjoy the gorgeous autumn weather). Our waiter Ryan was very attentive and the following day we returned and had Albert serve us. Both of these waiters are incredible people and did so much to make our experience amazing. The signature coffee is a flavor you really have to try for yourself, it's amazing. The breakfast sandwich we both ordered is easily one of the best I've ever tasted. Fresh, clean ingredients and handmade to order. You can taste the difference their fresh ingredients make. The salad paired with the breakfast sandwich reminds me of being in France. We enjoyed Cafe Roze both mornings we were in town, and you better believe anytime I pass through Nashville, I'll be there.

Cafe Roze is a relaxing but delicious experience! A friend & I were visiting from out of town where we saw this spot by the rental we were staying at. After peaking into the windows, we decided this would be a great spot to grab a quick breakfast & we were absolutely thrilled about how great it was. The environment of the restaurant was relaxing but provided a modern cozy vibe. The staff made us feel welcomed. Every table was full, but once we sat, it didn't feel overcrowded with the tables next to us. I ordered an iced vanilla latte, which was spot on. They had a small beer list but provided some local options, which we tried as well. My breakfast sandwich was delicious. It tasted so fresh & it was the perfect way to start my morning. The side salad had a solid dressing but the lettuce tasted a bit off. I didn't finish it due to that reason. Overall, if I'm ever back in the Nashville area, I look forward to stopping here again. I highly recommend it for your breakfast & caffeine needs!

A delightful place deep in East Nashville. I met a friend for breakfast. I had the Stout Waffle w/ poached pear and my friend had the Coconut Yogurt served with their own house made granola. Both were delicious. Couple the tasty food with fantastic service and you have a winning combination. I’ll already looking forward to going back. Thanks, y’all!

Very nice place and good service, our waiter had great patience with us since we arrived at the time of the staff change and we did not decide why to eat, thank you for that Finally We decided by some burgers which were delicious and we also mention the fresh, thin and crispy fries. Don’t forget order a great coffee Make your stop there and enjoy the place, the people and food.

Found this hidden gem during our visit to Nashville and absolutely loved it. Such a cute spot with great vibes, friendly service, and amazing food. We had the coconut yogurt, avocado toast, smoked trout toast, egg sandwich, roze latte, and turmeric steamer. Everything was a 10/10x. The food arrives quickly and the portion sizes are good. Everything is freshly prepared and tastes incredible. Special mention for the Roze latte, it's a must try. Place is busy so get reservations. Overall had a wonderful experience, highly recommend.

Had the most amazing risotto...ever. It had porcini mushrooms and this ethereal almond cream sauce with the essence of lemon. It was toothy and awesome. Really loved the Red Snapper and the broth of the PEI Mussels. I was impressed with the veggie spread they offered me, since I can't have gluten, when I ordered the Avocado Hummus.

Had the most beautiful start to my day here on a recent trip to the area! Started with their signature Roze Almond Milk latte (which was almost too beautiful to drink), followed by a bowl of warm and comforting savory oats topped with shiitake mushrooms, kale and a poached egg…DIVINE! Menu is limited, but thoughtfully curated with unique flavors and fresh ingredients that are sure to please!

You'll love Café Roze — it’s fantastic for people watching, food and fantastic drinks. We split a yogurt parfait to start - the yogurt is made in house, so fresh! Mathew ordered the smashburger, and I had the Café Roze Bowl — which officially made me a lifelong beet tahini fan - we just don't get enough pink food and Café Roze is here to fix that. Everything was as fresh and balanced as it was pretty to look at, which made for a memorable meal. Parking can be a little tricky with limited street spaces, but it’s worth the short walk every time. Café Roze is just one of those rare spots that makes even an ordinary weekday feel a little more special.

Had an absolutely INCREDIBLE dinner at Cafe Roze. The preserved lemon labna was sweet, tangy, savory and rich, we split a beet salad (an ample portion), and I got the pasta entree (perfectly al dente, flavorful, and filling). I got a spicy mezcal cocktail which packed a punch without being overbearing, and we capped off the evening with a lovely chocolate mousse. Our server was attentive and patient, and so helpful guiding us through the menu and providing suggestions. Atmosphere was cozy and intimate, made for an absolutely lovely dining experience. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Roze Cafe is a gem. Low-key but polished atmosphere. Went for breakfast and I had the poached egg bowl, which was awesome, and a Roze latte, which was perfect. My partner has the smoked trout toast, which has such a robust smoky flavor for such a simple dish. I will be back to try cocktails and other dishes.

This is my favorite restaurant when we come to Nashville. I always have to come here multiple times. It never disappoints. The service is always great. Do note it does get busy and loud, it’s never a problem because we usually tune it out. I’ve never had something here I don’t like. The restaurant is beautiful! Drinks here are amazing. Do yourself a favor and stop by!

A fun weekend lunch or brunch atmosphere! I’ve been here a few times and have never been disappointed. There is usually a wait for brunch/lunch on the weekends but it’s worth it! You can’t go wrong with their smash burger. It’s basically cheesy goodness and paired with crispy shoestring fries… YUM!! The signature Roze latte was delicious too. It’s just the right amount of floral but not too overpowering. My husband, daughter and I went and loved it! Perfect for a cute brunch with the friends or Nashville family outing.

Cafe Roze is fantastic! I went here on a date night and the ambience was nice - not too loud and dim lighting. We got the zucchini fritter, carrot toast, and steak frites. All three dishes were great but the carrot toast was definitely our favorite!

Absolutely delicious egg bowl. It came with scrambled or poached eggs. I ordered it with poached eggs, which were fluffy and light with just the right amount of oozing yolk once broken. The kale was very tasty and not bitter, bulgar wheat was a nice addition, and there was a delicious, lightly lemony-flavored yogurt under the eggs. Mix it up gently and flavor up! It was also a work of art.

Amazing place for a brunch! Cappuccino was awesome, my Roze bowl with salmon as well. I would definitely come back for this bowl. My bf ordered smashed burger which was pretty good and juicy, but nothing special and not big enough if you are hungry man:-))) all in all, very European-style café, i will definitely come over when in Nashville

We were in town and looking for good dessert and Cafe Roze was recommended. First, the ambiance was amazing, so cute and cozy. We ordered the chocolate mousse and almond cake. So good. The mousse was not too sweet and the cream on top was perfection. The almond cake was so moist amd equally delicious.

Quaint cafe in a charming brick building with a marble bar and wonderful wait staff. We had the Roze Bowl and the Battered Waffles with berries and a glass of Prosecco and Ginger Turmeric Steamer. The fare was rich in unique flavor layers and prepared with love.

Great little place for some morning pick-me-up. Had a yummy croissant, a steamer (with a shot of Espresso) and iced Matcha to start things off. All was perfect. Service was very nice. Had an egg bowl poached and a panini for the meal. They kept our water bottle filled the entire time, too.

Cafe Roze is an all around wonderful experience! I made reservations a few days in advance for 8:30 on a Sunday morning because anything later was already taken. I worried about parking but we parked on the street (which is the only option) not too far and there were sidewalks. Parking is free and on residential streets. We were seated immediately. Tables are close together but I didn’t feel uncomfortable, and I can be sort of sensitive to that sometimes! Ryan our server was wonderful. Not hover-y but definitely attentive to our needs. He was SO very knowledgeable about the menu and was ready with tons of recommendations as well as things like add-on suggestions. I got the broccoli melt (yes, at 9am! Ha) which came with fries and my friend got the simple breakfast with mushrooms. We both loved our meal so much. I’m a little broccoli obsessed and the sandwich definitely met my unrealized dreams for what a broccoli sandwich could be!! My friend’s breakfast looked delicious, especially the toast it came with. We got our food quickly and Ryan was attentive to our water glasses as well. The inside is super cute and the bar looked like a nice place to sit as well. I will absolutely come back again for a girls’ breakfast or lunch!

Local favorite spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Roze Latte is subtly sweet and beautiful presentation. Breakfast favs are the egg bowl and savory oats, lunch favs are the Roze Bowl and chicken pita bowl, and dinnner favs are the zucchini fritters and chicken. Everything is so fresh and delicious! The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our meal.

This place is incredible. We got the smoked trout dip, avocado humus, The kale pesto salad, and the pork schnitzel. Every single dish was out of this world. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, bartender made the best damn Pimms cup I’ve ever had. Have only gone for breakfast on the past and that was a mistake. One of the best valued meals in Nashville.

This place has long been on my to-go list, so when I found myself on this side of town I knew I had to pop in. I'm so incredibly happy I did, because this was such a delightful late lunch experience, I'm already planning on coming back. This restaurant boasts a thoroughly thought-out menu with some unique and bold flavors that really highlights and proves their knowledge of these ingredients. There's touches of Greek & Turkish influence with the smoked trout skordalia dip (a thick purée of potatoes, walnuts, and almonds with olive oil and garlic) as well as Italian with the Simple Pasta using the egg-based noodle with a lemon and saffron cream that's so fragrant and yet delicate, with juuuust enough spice in the bread crumbs to open up your palate. What started as an impulse decision turned into, at the risk of being repetitive, an absolute delight. The staff is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable and got me excited to try everything I ordered. Thank you, Cafe Roze!

I loved it here! At first, I was turned off from the tight (cozy) atmosphere. It felt like I was sitting on top of the other guests, and when the server comes, it really gets intimate. That wasn't my favorite part. But there's definitely a sense of community. The good was great. I ordered the Greek salad, an old-fashioned, and the botanical flower hot tea. I'll be back to get all three! My friend got the dmoked trout on toast. She loved it and it looked delicious. Overall, it was a great neighborhood dining experience.

I had the best experience making a big reservation here. Unfortunately, our party got bigger then the space could fit but I'd like to point out that the people who answer the phone have wonderful customer service and are very pleasant. The manager emailed me the same day and was very professional and very accommodating. I don't find people that sound like they like their job anymore but just needed to point out how they made me feel. I will be coming here in the future for sure.

We went to Rose Cafe for brunch today and it was full even at 2 pm! The host offered to put together a couple of smaller tables in the front so that we could be sat right away. We were with our toddler so I greatly appreciate how accommodating he was. Our server was prompt and attentive. The espresso martini and Bloody Mary were delicious! Everything we ordered was full of flavor and came out freshly prepared. We can’t wait to try out their dinner menu next!

Had no idea what to expect - we were looking for Somewhere casual but new. Blew any expectations we had away. Service was great, great atmosphere, and excellent food. Between the 2 of us we had the Gnocchi, labenah, steak frites, and falafel. All were excellent. Only feedback would be was wish there was a little more crunch to the falafel / texture profile to that dish. But otherwise 10/10 all around. Will definitely be back.

The schnitzel is AMAZING! The flavor combinations could not be better in this dish. We also really enjoyed the matcha cheesecake, the gnochi and whipped bone marrow.

I’ve loved Cafe Roze since I first started living in East, but I’ll always be impressed with their consistency in service, quality, and atmosphere. They’ve never once served me a poor coffee or bad meal - in fact quite the opposite as it’s one of the best spots in town! They know be my name and the staff is truly something special. As a long-time restaurant worker myself, *huge* shout out to Cafe Roze!

I had a really good dinner at Cafe Rose with friends. The restaurant is smaller than I expected, and some of the seating was a little uncomfortable but they overall had a great vibe. We got the zucchini fritters and hummus as appetizers and I had the ricotta gnocchi as my entree. Everything was really good, but not as memorable as I had hoped! It’s a great neighborhood restaurant and if I lived closer I’d go more often.

their fries are better than mcdonald’s anyways here’s the roze bowl. they are very good with allergies, the server asked every table after they ordered if anyone had allergies as well as milk preferences. a record shop is across the street that i recommend stopping in if you have extra time

Adorable little cafe that leaves no stone unturned to impress you with the quality of their espresso and food on a Sunday brunch. It’s a bit busy and can get tight, and you may end up sitting very close to other guests — but it feels like a crowded charming nyc cafe. Roze latte was absolutely right on the money (I really miss me some good coffee at many brunch places in Nashville and I’m so happy to report this isn’t one of those places). Avocado toast with a twist of hummus was interesting. Some of the old pictures in the reviews were a bit misleading because I was expecting a spread with toast on a side but ended up getting two toasts with avocado hummus on it. I didn’t know what I was going to think of it but wanted to give it a try. I didn’t hate it but I did miss 100% avocado on it. No parking lot but there’s street parking nearby. Staff was very friendly. Crowd seemed nice and quiet. I’ll be going there again for sure.

My friends and I had brunch here on Sunday. I would highly recommend getting a reservation as we had to waited 30min for table for 3. The interior was pleasantly modern and minimal. We were seated outside at one of the two outdoor tables. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered the Roze Latte, which was cute to look at, but I did not like how it tasted. The rose taste was too strong and gave the drink more of a essential oils effect, where it smelled better than it tasted. The overall flavor was floral, not coffee or milk. I also ordered the Simple Breakfast with eggs done sunnyside up. It was simple and delicious and all elements on the plate were cooked well with complimentary textures. The garnish of 2 sprouts on the eggs seemed superfluous. My friend ordered the Stout Waffles which she enjoyed, esp. the mascarpone.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed ( or reserved) so we were seated outdoors at the patio. The food was good (we tried the chicken burger and the charred salmon). The fries were good too. The experience was a little dampened by a roach trying to walk across the big bench that everyone was sitting on. The waitress just stood there and said that she wasn't paid enough to do anything about it. People started grabbing their plates and running away but I definitely think something could've been done about the roach.

J
Justin Braathen

The good The food was healthy, unique, visually appealing and prepared nicely. I had the beet salad with salmon and an espresso Martini. The bad My Espresso Martini was delivered to the wrong table. Instead of remaking a new one, the server simply delivered it to my table and at least ¼ of the drink was spilled out and the glass was all sticky and it was a pretty tiny drink to begin with. We had a table of 5 and none of the food came out together, the first dish was delivered, then in 5-minutes another dish ... Overall the food was great, but incredibly bland and under seasoned. Relatively expensive for what we got, the price didn't match the service for sure

N
Noreen

A couple notes, it is a smaller space so it can get pretty loud inside. We tried out the ham country toast and waffle. The mother may I drink was super good definitely recommend that. Overall, cute spot for pretty good food. Service turned my palate toward this place sour. We were charged for the table next to us, which we didn’t realize. It started pouring outside, so we were sitting at our table waiting to leave. After a few minutes, our waitress comes to tell us they messed up our bill and had us repay our amount. I understand that and we happily did it. But I don’t think we should be faulted for something that was their fault. If it wasn’t for us waiting for the rain, they prob wouldn’t have really noticed. Not sure that’s the best customer retention policy there… not sure I’ll be coming back after that.

E
Eric Sims

I’ve been coming here for years and today was absurd. First though… the burger was amazing, the bartenders are awesome. I’ve actually never had a bad experience here previously but am compelled to post this. I walk in with a coffee from down the street. The manager rushes over and informs me that “we have our own coffee program and there is no outside coffee allowed.” and to remember that for next time. Now, this isn’t a huge deal (although there are 25 coffee shops in a 2 mile radius here. Not sure how one can expect to enforce these rules or why they are so important. Osa beans and high garden tea are everywhere) So to mitigate the issue she puts my coffee in another plastic cup with a Cafe Roze sticker on one side which sits next to me in the photo below. As you can see from the photo, it doesn’t matter at all… The kicker for me is that I didn’t say one single word during that entire interaction and was being spoken at like a kid as opposed to spoken to like an adult. Very off putting and off to be honest strange. She grabbed my coffee without asking and then~ said “sorry for manhandling your coffee.” Like please get your hands off of my things! Insane! I see no value in bringing it up to her in person as I type this from the bar and see more value in posting here for more to see. Save yourself embarrassment and DO NOT bring your own coffee into here. Otherwise, enjoy.

K
Kimberly Abbott

The steak was chewy and disgusting and the waiter got defensive. You literally cannot cut it with a steak knife and I could not chew it. Literally Cracker Barrel has better steak. The schnitzel was very dry. Even the cocktails were bad. What is happening? How is this so expensive? Kill me.
