The employees are super friendly and very efficient! They, like every place is always busy & understaffed. All of the employees do the best they can! They are supper helpful & do their best! Thank you for working so hard with an increasingly difficult clientele! Thank you!
Me and kids always use drive thru. Dont have to wait long when we got our food.
Checked in early afternoon after a 3 hour drive, we were pooped. We were greeted by a very sweet young lady, Serena. She was very informative & helpful since we were not familiar with the area. We decided to use room service instead of trying to find somewhere to go eat. Much to our surprise it was reasonably priced, quick service & very good!

Those behind the counter were super friendly and in good cheer. The food was as expected and the order was correct. The playplace was clean. The only issue was that the tables were never wiped down after customers left.
Restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. Kids play area seemed fairly clean as well.
Decently clean for McDonald's. 14.60$ for 2 people. Food was good. Service was average, forgot a sprite but got our cup back after showing the receipt.
Waited 40 minutes for food in drive through, finally got it and it was cold and had hair in it, why is my home town McDonald's always the worst one when I go.
OK receipt wouldn't come out of kiosk. Luckily I was the only one in the lobby. Food was ok.
Had to pull forward in the drive thru to wait for food. Fries were hot and good but my QP with cheese and bacon was dry, tasted burnt and was cold. Same with my husband's filet of fish. Usually the burger is hot and juicy but not this time. 😞
Past experience of this location would have been a 1. We were there with a large group after a soccer game, so I understood they were busy and they did look understaffed. However my simple order took over an hour to get... this is not fast food. We had to ask 2x and were told both times they were currently working on it. People that came in long after us had already received their food, eaten and left. We ended up having to take it to go to get my daughter to her second soccer game in time. They ended up giving me a full refund, however it should never have happened. But my rating did increase after this recent visit. My daughter finished her softball game late at night and all the kids were hungry, I didn't really want to go here again. But we live 45 minutes away and they needed to eat, so we went throught the drive through. The person who took our order was very nice and understanding. My 3 yo twins were yelling and it was hard for her to hear me and me to hear her. She was very patient. The person who gave us our food was also very pleasant, we had a short wait on chicken nuggets but it was less than a minute and she said we could just wait at the window. We ended up being short a slushy, it wasn't on the receipt and I wasn't upset because like I said my kids were loud. So I just asked if I could get one quick and pay for it there and she just grabbed me one for free and apologized. It was a very smooth interaction during a stressful time.
This place is really going downhill. Wait 15 minutes in the drive through for an order you placed ahead on the app and when you finally get it it's not only wrong but cold as well. Don't ask for extra sauce on your spicy chicken because they will fill the whole sandwich box with sauce so it's inedible.
Good customer service but food isn’t great has been too much of condiments added to it and fries have been sitting out to long or not done completely.
I got a large fry with two spicy mchickens and a new gold snack wrap. We had to wait for the mcchickens to cook which is great. We love that but please don't give us fries that were boxed prior to the wait. The fries were not even filled. This picture was immediately after pulling them out of the bag. No fries were at the bottom of the bag either. I didn't go back because we were driving by the town. Just do better.
I stopped to pick up an online order. The meal was for my grandson and I to share a lunch. I ordered the burgers with ketchup only and someone thought that was code to extra onions, mustard and pickles. Way to mess up what was supposed to be a fun lunch!
Waited for 20 to 25 minutes for food. Went Inside to see where my food was. Girl said it's not their fault, understaffed. The whole time I was waiting outside, I seen car after car pay, get their food and leave. When I was inside the girl told me if I don't like it, go somewhere else. WOW! WTH is wrong with these young ppl today. That is not how you handle a situation. Shame on them! I never did get my food. Had to call the manager from my vehicle to get a refund. He came out with my money in five minutes. He never apologized or offered anything. All he said walking away from me was Your welcome. He and his crew should be reprimanded. Very unprofessional ppl. Do not recommend going here. 😕
Took nearly 15 minutes to get a coffee and a sundae, at 2pm, with no one in line. After 12 I asked an employee about my order who went back and grabbed it. So why wasn't it put up there 10 min ago when it was probably ready? Sheesh
When we arrived we placed our order and had kids grab a table since we had a group of 8 and it was a small main dinning area with a the large table being used by staff. That was also a high top table hard for small kiddos. A few other tables were occupied. The play area had a sign saying closed and was fenced off, however tables were labeled for covid cleaning the same as main dinning room. So obviously they have used it for dinning. We understood that the actual play area could not be used. Which is not why we stopped there. So the kids grabbed the large table in the back room so we could be together and still keep our distance from other guests. We waited for our food and joined the kids. They had already been at the table for 10-15minutes by this point. We got the kids all set up and they had started eating when a manager came in and said we could not eat there and had to move to main dinning area. We tried saying there wasn't any table big enough for our group out there and that the tables that were out there were not clean, all we got was we had to move. They never did clean the tables in the main dinning area. They could have asked us to move prior to getting our food set out. Or even offer to clean some of the other tables. Also when we went to the rest room and went to wash our hands the water was so hot that we burnt our hands. Daughter couldn't even finish rinsing the soap off of her hands because the water was so hot. Only good thing was that the food was decent. Poor service after we had to move staff were talking about it being the end of their shift and since they had all there tasks done for the day they should be able to leave a half hour early.
It's a decent experience for breakfast, but if your looking at going for supper forget it. This is by far the worst managed McDonald's. 30 minutes waiting with my 3 little ones after ordering on the kiosk and it also won't read my card.Your forced to pay at the register. So you wait for someone to attend the register for payment and no-one. While waiting i had 2 conversations. One with a person before me who waited 45 min. after his order was messed up and yet another person that didn't have anything good to say. Told my little ones forget it we'll go to Kwik Star after making my order and not having anyone around to ring our order up. They give cold food ,skimp out on filling the fries, and half the time mess the order up. Prices use to be affordable. Service use to be fast. Not sure what the deal is but management needs to address this.
this was my large fry fresh out of the bag..literally less than a medium fry…i should have just asked for a small fry…that’s practically what i got..,extremely disappointed…this is not the first time i’ve ran into this issue at this mcdonald’s…and i know for a fact they’ve been spoken to about this…it’s like they just continue to do it on purpose, and it’s always just this mcdonald’s too!!! they should take some pointers from the ppl that work over at the charles city location…this location needs to do better..,it’s always something here
Worst service ever. Not sure why McDonald's thinks the kiosk ordering is a good thing because there is never anyone at the actual register. There were 4 people working the day we stopped and I stood by counter twice for more than 3 min (didn't get our drink cups and didn't put happy meal toys in the box) had to flag them down/wave my hand to get their attention because God forbid they actually acknowledge a customer. This is not the first time we have had terrible service here. There was also a man who ordered a hot coffee and waited way too long for it and asked the worker who acted like she had no ideas what the hell was going on and got her got pissed and just walked out with out the coffee. They finally out the coffee up on the counter and it was still there by the time we finished our food. Maybe hire some competent people or have a manager who actually knows what the hell they are doing. They don't even deserve 1 star
3.99 for a large fry and your lucky to get a med amount of fries I don't mind paying extra for fries but when the box isn't even opened up all the way and fries aren't even up to the top it isn't worth it I went thru drive thru thinking that way I would get service because you go inside and they expect you to use the KIOSK no customer service at the counter? Noticed on other reviews that this MCD location skimps on fries REALLY!!!
