This is the best, good price, good drinks, good food I ever been and try in my life. Honestly y’all is amazing here. And staff always friendly. I highly recommend this place. Thanks barracuda with your drinks you have seen my happines, my lowest and my stressfull days :)

Wow!!! Amazing food, amazing service, amazing drinks. I couldn't have wandered into a better place to hang out for hours. All the staff were just awesome. I will 100% return here. The Columbian twist on the food is just amazing, not disappointed at all.

Great place to hangout for happy hour. Been here a couple of times - they are consistent at making good cocktails. Snacks are good too- I love Yucca fries (try it- you won’t regret!).

Okay so I'm going to just say it had to be God for this day to go down that's how I give it five stars it was my first time me and A girlfriend of mine went with my sister frequents this spot with a close friend of hers and we just decided that we hadn't seen each other in so long it's been about eight years her and I'll girlfriend and I haven't seen her in about 6 months so we would like hey let's go have some happy hour drinks and some good food to try those dollar oysters that they have oh my God can you stay fresh I tasted the sea water I'm trying to swallow they were awesome I'm going to have pictures by any who Audrey was our server and waitress and we got lucky because we came home on a Monday evening between 4 and 6 it wasn't busy too much but busy enough for one waitress to be working all these tables and she took care of us in a friendly fast effective manner everything she suggests it was phenomenal I don't know what that Colombian Chef got but she got a good thing going on those little arepas w/ pulled pork and mango salsa on thos hott fried corn fritter cakes, I can't wait to go back and try some more delicious Delectables on the menu cuz we had such a good time we're going to try to make it once a month thing it was really really good and I just want to say to Audrey again thanks for being our waitress once again you were the bomb I can't wait to see you soon thanks for all your time and your hospitality the food was amazing👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💣💣💣💣💣😋😋😋😋🤗🤗🤗🤗!!!!! Loved the vibe, the music was great (it could just a little bit louder) the waitress was attentive and pleasant. The food was good and fairly priced. Great place for brunch

Sonia the owner is so awesome! Very accommodating. The food is delicious. Yuca fries are a must. Suggest making reservations for brunch on the wkends as the tables do fill up. Great happy hour days and hours. Food is delicious, drinks are great. Atmosphere is great brunch hr and evenings. Music is always great. WOW! We wandered into Barracuda off of the street because it smelled incredible. This has to be one of the best Sunday brunches in town! There is incredible live music, the wait staff is very attentive, and I can comfortably say this is the best mimosa I have ever had in my life. I had stuffed French toast with dulce de leche and it was SO GOOD. Thanks, Barracuda! ❤️

Spent new years here for drinks and food. The tacos, plantains, and empanadas were out of this world. The drinks were perfect every time. Jordan and rose were the best servers and had great service. 10/10!

The vibes were immaculate. Good drinks at a very reasonably price during happy hour. I got the carnitas tacos and they were seasoned deliciously and topped with a mango salsa. 100% will come back for more drinks and tapas.

Delicious and affordable. We did happy hour (2 people), got a drink and plate each for $28 total. How can you beat that in New Haven? No wonder it was pretty much full on a Tuesday. Mojito was a bit weak/sweet is the only complaint.

This was our first time here and it was such a nice surprise. We didn’t expect to walk in the far back of the restaurant and have a speakeasy type vibe. The server Ella was wonderful and took care of us perfectly. We had the Latin wings and avocado sashimi. It was absolutely amazing! The arepas and Mac n cheese were fantastic as well! we will definitely be back

Love this place, been coming here for a while now since before they changed locations. Service is always amazing, drinks are amazing and strong, love their happy hour specifically because I order their mussels that come a lot in one bowl. Staff is always friendly and I come here about once a week. Brunch on Sundays is good too

I came here on a Saturday morning with my boyfriend and another couple for brunch. The place is very cozy inside so there aren't too many tables, so it is recommended to have a reservation even for brunch. We were seated quickly and the waiter came to take our order within minutes. They have really good endless drink options for brunch such as sangria, Bloody Marys, and Mimosas. The food is well prepared and pretty large portions for the price. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because we ordered an item and specifically said we wanted the yuca fries as the side, and it ended up coming with regular french fries even after the reminder. Also my over easy eggs were a little undercooked and the white part was still pretty runny. However it was still a great spot and I'd recommend coming here for happy hour or brunch.

We came in at a good time the place is small and tends to get crowded but we had no problems getting seated. The food was amazing. We couldn't make up our minds so we ate off each others plate so we could sample multiple foods and everything was delicious. The drinks are tasty, I had my first mojito and I enjoyed it very much. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly and attentive.

Great food and drinks! Happy hour deals are awesome! They offer quite the selection for food and their margaritas and mojitos are $6! Loved their tostadas with the beef. Would definitely come back here again.

Love the atmosphere and the food was great! The one downfall is, especially when you have a party of people with you, when you're ordering the bottomless mimosas you have exactly one hour and you have to leave. You're DONE!!! Hate that because you want to enjoy your experience but you can't cause you have watch the clock. Who does that?

Great prices and good food. Went for oyster happy hour but they were all out. For those who are sensitive to sounds, it can get pretty loud at times.

The food was great! The flavor in the Latino options was amazing 👏 a little under staffed, but that did not interfere with the incredible attention of the wait staff. A very laid-back bar vibe atmosphere, which is what is needed after a long day or week. The bartender knows how to fix a great cocktail and make you feel at home. I would definitely visit again when in New Haven CT.

I’ve been to the original Barracuda and always enjoyed the food and drinks. I saw on Social Media that the moved to a new location. My wife took me for my birthday this past Saturday. The food was still delicious but I was a little bummed out the removed some of my favorite items off their menu. I still had some good food besides the Vegan Tostones. Those were a miss for me, the veggies lacked seasoning, very bland. My biggest disappointment were the drinks. I had 3 margaritas and they all tasted virgin. That was a big let down. I understand there’s a measurement, but I should still be able to taste some tequila. Nope, just felt like drinking a fancy juice. I didn’t stay long. Paid the bill and went elsewhere for drinks. I didn’t even take pictures and I always do. Sucks because this was one of my favorite places to go to for margaritas and mojitos. My wife the biggest lightweight even had 3 drinks and was like nope this isn’t it. Let’s go.

3 stars because service was good & food came out fast. But the food itself was just okay, nothing wrong with it but also nothing exceptional or exciting, reminded me of diner food.

The food is very good. I always get the Barracuda nachos but some of the other dishes I’ve tried have been really good as well. Never any complaints about food from friends I’ve gone with either. Drinks are always good too. I used to go a lot before they moved to their new location with 80 Proof. When I did go, the customer service was sometimes not good and sometimes fine. That’s the main reason I gave less stars because I didn’t always have good service. There were times I sat at the bar and it took forever for my food and drinks, and times where the waiter/waitress wasn’t the nicest. I’ve both dined in and done take out. Other than that I would recommend for the food and drinks!

I came here recently for dinner with a couple of friends. Although we were late for our reservation, we were seated as soon as everyone came in which I appreciated. Ambiance was okayish, could be better. Service was very slow, which I understood since it was Valentine's Day and a Friday. Our waiter was very forgetful and rarely checked in on us. I had the lomo saltado which was okay but would've been better if it was cooked more. Would’ve been nice if the waiter asked me how did I want my meat cooked. I also ordered the tres leche which took 20-30 minutes to take out. I ended up asking it to go since we had to leave. A bit ridiculous for dessert but giving the benefit of doubt since it was somewhat on the busy side. Paying for our check also took longer than usual as the waiter barely tended to us and we had to ask other staff such as a host to help us out. It felt uneasy that someone had my card for an extended time and don’t want to think worst case scenario. I want to give Barracuda another try when it's less busy but hesitant to do so with the not so great service we received.

Food ok but barely. Service dismissive..coffee lukewarm & that’s the hottest. Nobody is trying to you’re better off w/ an egg McMuffin & a coffee

This is supposed to be Shrimp Mofongo. I bought this on Uber eats for $25 and it doesn’t include anything else. Definitely not worth it. Mofongo is supposed to be mashed plantains but the sauce made the plantains soggy and the shrimps did not taste good. Shrimps are not deveined. Rice is 5$ extra and that was worse. Maybe bc I’m used to different rice but the rice did not taste good IMO. Horrible. Spent 40$ on this and yes I know I spent half on fees but it wasn’t even worth it.

Food is really good, chicken yuca nachos are my go to. So much flavor ! I love them!! But what I don’t understand if how your not allowed to order via phone. Only online via uber eats. But the store is always closed via uber eats! Makes no sense! Cannot place online order period, Ubereats nor the website.. it’s very inconvenient being you don’t want to take phone orders

Absolutely disaster class of a restaurant. I was a loyal patron of the former barracuda. This new restaurant is terribly run. The staff give conflicting information regarding prices. We were told by our server and at the entrance they had a special for BOGO margaritas. However, when checking out, we were then told there was no such deal, and the our waiter had lied to us. We then were overcharged for all happy hour menu items we ordered, charged at full price, rather than happy hour. Terrible service, the food is okay, but the wait time was about 1 hour to receive our food after ordering. I would definitely suggest going to any other restaurant.

This place is awful. The empanadas were literally salty, the yuca nachos are smaller than they were previously , and they’re the same price ! Insanity. Our server didn’t ask if I our food was good, a few things came out late, but we saw her adding them in because she forgot to put them in as an order. She also said she didn’t even know the updated menu. Like maybe it’s lack of training but the attitude was not needed at all. We had to keep asking for water and napkins and honestly, the food runner did more help for us in terms of service. The tall African American man that was a host was very welcoming though so I really appreciate him.

We had a reservation for Valentines Day. When we arrived, they took us to the back room, which is a decently sized area with plenty of room. However they had sat every single party on the same booth. I didn't have a foot of space of either side of me, despite the restaurant having several untouched tables. Ended up leaving, was just uncomfortable and made no sense to stay.
