My coworkers and I used to order from this deli at least 2-3 times a week for breakfast but have been out of the office since March so I have not been here in awhile. I was in the area today and decided to stop in and grab breakfast. I could say I have missed this deli. They are a little pricey but I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast this morning.

I ordered 2 sesame bagels with butter. After I got home ready to eat my bagels, they gave me raisin cinnamon bagels instead. I have to go back to the store to get what I originally ordered. It was Sunday morning and I made 2 trips to the store to get what I want.

The past few times i have gone to this bagel store it was very very disappointing. They will rather talk to their coworkers than help out the customers. They take forever to make one little bagel. Very very very disappointed and not going back. And a new worker there thought I wanted a “roll up sand which” meaning a wrap when I asked for a regular roll. I got chicken salad and it smelled and tasted like tuna salad. And never got my macaroni salad and pickle. And it took very long to get just 2 bagels.

I will never go back in this bagel store again the tall Spanish guy who claims to be the owner who lies about being the owner who is not is so rude ...there have been times my order has been wrong and I had to go back in there and have them fix it thats part of there job . i pay my money nothing is giving me free and they even give attitude .. .it is very over priced already and very expensive in there and to be nasty to a person who pstrons your store 2 times a day is terrible and because of this last experience i wont ever go in in there again ...when i went to get bacon egg and cheese sandwich the girl who was serving me cause of her lack of communication while asking me how i want my sandwich she could of said by the way the Bialy is more money and not find out after the sandwich was made it went over 10dollars and when i brought it to th e manager attention .the manager to take the sandwich back from the customer and try to blame me for thier lack of communication..is behind me and then lecture me and say if i complain he will.not serve me any more after¹ i come in thier store 2 times a day its his attitude that is not professional when they mess up....And to your nonsense response i never requested things off a menu that you don't offer already and I always pay for anything extra nothing free...because of the managers attitude towards me is the main reason fir this review but dont respond with nonsense and try to put it on me like you are giving me free things or you go out your way and leave the store to please me .......accommodation is part of customers service you guys multi times have messed up my order as simple as putting sugar in my tea or jelly missing iam always nice about it but like I said there are plenty of better places you totally over charge.. Where down the block the same sandwich is less money..if your manager continues to treat your paying customers rudly when they mess up your order and a customer pays for its not to there satisfaction...thats where the reall accommodation comes in making it right continue with that attitude you will loose customers remember your not the only bagel store along hillside ...have a nice day.....

Called in for delivery because I am handicapped. One of their workers told me I would have to starve because they didn’t deliver on Christmas Eve. Never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect and rudeness. This place needs a lesson on customer service and the owner should be training on how to talk to people. I am disappointed. Happy holidays.

Very unprofessional service. I arrived at the restaurant exactly at 9:00 AM, even though the order was supposed to be ready by 8:50 AM. Instead, they made me wait until 9:20 AM — a full 20 minutes late, and all of this was for one simple item. As a delivery driver, my time is valuable. Waiting around in the morning, when every minute matters, is completely unacceptable. If you can’t prepare orders on time, then turn off the app and stop accepting new orders. Don’t waste drivers’ time and don’t create delays for customers. Terrible experience. I will avoid picking up from this place in the future.

Update 3/26 This restaurant has been a consistent disappointment. The pricing seems inconsistent, varying depending on who handles checkout, despite my order remaining the same. However, the most concerning issue is with poor customer service. One long-time employee, an older, heavy-set Spanish woman, creates an unwelcoming atmosphere. She never smiles, greets customers, or expresses gratitude. If she is unhappy with her job, it may be worth considering a different work environment. ---- Decent bagels and coffee, but the service is not to standard. I have visited numerous mornings around 6 a.m., where there is a line of customers, and only one of the 3/4 workers is working on the line. Customers in the store should always get priority!

Made the mistake of getting bagels from this place. Avoid unless you like burnt bagels. This is supposed to be a PLAIN SESAME bagel. It's completely burnt to a crisp, and unrecognizable. Look, sometimes bagels can be overcooked, accidents happen. BUT how do you serve this to a customer, and then charge them $5 for it. Prices are WAY TOO HIGH for burnt bagels. You're in the bakery business, go invest in a good toaster. Open a new bank account, maybe they'll give you one for free.

Asked for two bagels with cream cheese and 1 everything bagel which the employee lied to me and told me that they don’t have it. I got a sesame bagel instead with butter, bacon and cheese and 2 cookies! $25 later all three bagels were burnt and mine only had butter! Very dry and way too expensive for burnt dry bagels. Not only was the order $25 but on top of that the employee was rude. Safe to say we won’t be going back! And a regular bagel with cream cheese is $5.25!! Crazy.

Bought 12 bagels after a very long time. I was surprised to hear $19.95 for 12 bagels! Came home and tried one, it was too dry. I have been coming to this bagel shop for 20+ years but I have never been this disappointed. I don’t mind paying more for good or quality food, unfortunately the high prices didn’t mean better quality or taste here. Will find another bagel shop in the area or buy them from BJ’s, yes, BJs now has better bagels than here.
