For dollar pizza, the quality is really great. And the people that work there are polite, as well. Hoping to go back the next time I'm in the area.

The name is what is promised: 1$ pizza (for the basic one) and another bunch of different pizzas for every taste: salami, peperoni, cheese, tomato, ham...a soda can can complete the menu for a fast lunch.

May contain cheese. Jk. There's a lot of 99c slice spots all over Manhattan. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I always recommend trying all of them. Note: some spots are now 1.50. 1 spot now calls themselves the $2 spot. Some are now only open for a few hours. Some 24/7 still. 1 spot closed down somewhere. Test your luck, post your opinions, and spread the word to all pizza lovers. There's also one place that rushes everyone to buy the old slices and gave me food poisoning. I had to rush all over the place around wherever that was just to struggle and sweat for the obvious internal reason. I can't remember that place but if anyone finds it please report that one on behalf of all the clueless innocent people who also have been forced to suffer by that one. That one in particular needs to be shut down for everybody's safety.

One of the best dollar pizza's in Manhattan and I ate in a lot of em. Any other pizza here cost's more (my fav bacon and pepperoni pizza $4) but the classic margherita is worth every dime.

Location location and dough. Yup that's what makes this place a five star establishment. The location of the restaurant, the.location by the subway and the busy streets and lastly but very importantly the doe that they use. Top shelf doe at Dollar slices is remarkable and that's why they have a fan club that isnloyak to them and that keeps coming back. Big ups to them and they are worthy of this highgrade

Good cheap lunch $1 dollar slice for cheese, there are other toppings but they cost more. There was one with tomatoes and lettuce I think for 3$. Get one as a snack to hold you off or get 3 to fill you up 🍕🍕 There is like 2 or 3 stools to sit but it is more of a " get your slice and be on your way" type of place.

Hands down one of my favorite dollar pizza spots in NYC. They sell so many slices you know it's fresh. Sometimes a line forms but it's worth the minute or two you will spend waiting.

One of many dollar pizza joints in the city, but this one stands out for its unassuming appearance and serving up a more-than-decent pizza. Ordered a cheese slice, guy popped it into the oven to crisp it up, handed him a dollar, and enjoyed it right outside while waiting for a reservation at a nearby restaurant (the pizza was for our kid but we ended up taking bites, couldn't resist). Crust had that signature crispy and chewy texture, and the perfect cheese to sauce ratio. Transaction was so quick, hand him a buck and get a slice, it's that simple! There's even a condiment station to spice up your pizza. Definitely sleeper status being one of the best food deals in the city.

With the long lines at Joe’s Pizza, this quick service pizza spot on the corner was my favorite of the trip. Got 2 pieces every day (Cheese & Pepperoni) It consisted of fast service, solid pizza ($3-4 per slice), and lots of options.

Always the best deal in town and really good pizza. We always eat it when we are in NYC. I ordered two slices with a soda for 2.99. What a deal and hardly any wait at all. I decided after I wanted to try the garlic nuts and they were excellent. Highly recommended fast food stop and very convenient and affordable for everyone.

This place sells pizza for $1.00. My husband and I ate plain pizza with mozzarella. Crust nice and light. Bottom not burnt. Good taste for $1 no tax. Highly recommend others to try it if you're in the area.

The best pizza in Newyork for real. I was told to make sure to try it and we did. It was delicious. We went there around 3pm so it was not busy. No seats so don't plan to make this a place to rest your feet. Grab and go or stand around to eat, but it was worth it. We went back and got seconds.

These slices are a bit bigger and a lot more tasty than the pizza place on 30th and 6th. It's also a little bit cheaper. The pizza is always fresh, simply because there's always people getting pizza here. The dough is delicious, not too much sauce, and a decent amount of cheese. Be careful when taking a bite it can be really hot right out of the oven, and always try to let other people go a ahead of you until there's a new pie out of the oven. So fresh

The key to good pizza is the dough. It's good when you're down to the last crust, with no sauce or cheese, and that last piece of bread is still tasty and delicious. Slices are slightly smaller than typical, but hey, only a buck. They got it right.

This pizza would be what I call a great representation of a NYC slice!!! Thin crispy crust, with the perfect amount of cheese. This is a grab and go spot. So don't go expecting to sit down. With the quick turnaround, you'll always very a fresh slice. And for $1, you can't go wrong at all!

There is something incontrovertibly wonderful about the fact that you can still get dollar pizza in New York City. Well nearly a dollar anyway I think it's $1.50. This type of cheap street side pizza is just as good as I remembered it from my childhood. It is the quintessential New York City experience for me, walking around the street with a folded piece of pizza in a greasy paper plate. This restaurant provides that experience perfectly.

Delicious pizza only a few blocks from the Empire State Building. Slices are nice and big, and they throw them back into the oven to make sure everything is hot. Sucks they were out of sausage pizza, but 4 huge slices for $7.75 is a great price.

Pepperoni slice is great, the Hawaiian was served up a bit cold still. It's a decent slice if you want some quick and cheap pizza. Most slices cost about $3.50.

Definitely not a bad slice by any means, but there are better options out there if you want a quality $1.50 slice. It felt a little underwhelming. But I will note that I burned my tongue a few days ago and it's only at about 80% recovery, so this may have minimally affected my perception. Note that the interior is small and leaves no space to eat.

The pizza here is okay but not the best but what do we expect from 1 dollar pizza. It has the usual condiment topping items on the counter. The workers are quick so even if there is a line it will go fast. The place is small and cozy some might say even tight with people at the counter and a line waiting.

Great pizza, fast service! And they reheat it in the oven if you'd like. Also, dky there's no tax on $1 pizza? So it's literally one dollar! Excellent! No place to stand or sit or anything though so 4 stars cause we had to stand around the corner in front of a closed store to eat it.

The best thing about dollar pizza is that it usually is fresh out of the oven. Thin crust pizza here with a fluffy chewy crust. This is a hole in the wall. Probably the smallest dollar pizza in nyc so most eating is done outside of here.

For a $1 slice, it's good pizza. Fresh, high turnover, down-to-earth, totally NYC. A bit greasier than other places, but can't complain. No inside seating or counter. I'd go back. Mushroom slice $1.75.

As far as $1 pizza goes, this place is pretty good. Crust is soft (and thin, but soft, not crispy), exactly how I like it! For $2.75 you get two slices of plain pizza plus a can of sodas - good lunch deal. 😀

I walked into this place hoping to get a few slices 2 hours before they closed. The worker rudely told me to get out and that they were closed. I had barely taken a step inside when I was shunned away. I will try a slice from this place next time I visit but i hope not get shunned away. Awful experience and I didn’t even get a slice. Tsk tsk tsk New York for u I guess.

The guy was taking out the garbage and midway stopped because a timer went off, touched part of a pie with his hands, and then proceeded to finish taking out the garbage. He also did not wash his hands or sanitize after he finished taking out the garbage.

TL;DR This place has no food safety standards. They'll handle money, then scoop your toppings with bare hands, and squeeze back the dirty water back into it's container. It's what anyone would expect from a dollar pizza place but the food safety standards here are horrendous. Didn't see a mushroom slice on display so I asked for two slices with it. The young cashier who just handled money with the customer before me goes over to the prep table and takes out the container of mushrooms. Mind you, his hands are still dirty from handling money. He proceeds to scoop out the mushrooms with his bare hands! Then what does he do next? This one really got to me.. HE SQUEEZES THE WATER BACK INTO THE CONTAINER! Absolutely horrendous! This kid has no business serving food to anyoneL

I ordered a slice of pizza and before he cut it, I asked him how much would extra cheese be and he replied $2.00. So ordering extra cheese cost more than the slice itself? When he cut my slice, half of the cheese was off. If I didn't mention it, he would have not changed the slice. I asked for a soda, and the can was very dirty on top. I am not going there again.

Rude person at the pizza counter. For example, he pointed his index finger at me while asking me what I want, which is not a proper way to greet customers. When I asked for 2 slices, he was originally going to serve my pizza cold, so that's when I stopped him and asked if he could warm up it. But instead, he made it too hot instead of warm that it burned my tongue. Overall, food and service were terrible. Not coming back here again.
