Went in to celebrate a friend's birthday on a Saturday afternoon. The place was pretty empty and felt almost like we have the whole place to ourselves. The service is wonderful although at times for me felt a bit overbearing and over explaining, but all and all very informative ,super accommodating. We ordered -25gr of caviar as starter which comes with sour cream,chives, delicious belini, butter toast and yukka ( this was more than enough for us since all the dishes come with caviar) -Tuna toro tartar on ponzu with caviar and butter toast- nice and fatty fish, delicious bread, can't go wrong -Uni caviar with caviar and squid ink crunch - I don't remember all the ingredients but the Uni melts in your mouth and is perfect with the crunch -Golden egg on parmesan foam and caviar. This was my favorite,all the ingredients just dance together Washed it all down with half a bottle of Champagne On reservation I mentioned that my friend is celebrating a birthday, and the staff did not disappoint! We finished the meal with an assortment of little desserts, the highlight was the chocolate and berries cake that was just divine. All and all great experience

UPDATE (~a year later): Came back here last weekend! Hubby and I arrived a bit early so our table was not ready—they gave us a complimentary glass of champagne while we waited! Once seated, our dining experience was off the chain—food and service was EXCELLENT. We got the Nostalgia Caviar (Beluga, Classic Osetra & Sevruga $545)—AMAZING!! To compliment the caviar, we got a bottle of the Billecart-Salmon, Brut Reserve Champagne bottle ($175). Since we were celebrating, they brought us complimentary sugar sweets with a candle, so sweet! I love it here, service is top notch—HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!! ——————————————————————————— BAR REVIEW ONLY. Came here recently Sunday afternoon close to their closing time but we were welcomed warmly regardless—decided to grab seats at the bar. The restaurant is nice and fancy looking, loved it! Started off with caviar—SO DELICIOUS!! We tried the Siberian Sturgeon ($75/25gr) and Classic Ostra ($95/25gr)—perfect portion for a light bite with drinks. Cocktails were great as well—highly recommend the “Caviar”tini—vodka martini with pomegranate jelly shaped to mimic caviar in the drink! Overall, service was AMAZING! Our bartender was friendly and attentive and made the best drinks!

Our entire experience was amazing. The staff were super helpful, kind and knowledgeable. They recommended dishes to us as well as what made sense for a caviar tasting. We shared one of their tastings and it was enough for 2 people. We added a few side dishes as well and were graciously gifted dessert. The space itself is beautifully decorated. Fun place to host a girls meals or group dinner as well as a date night.

I had an amazing solo dining experience here. The service was impeccable and the food was incredible. Portions are big enough to share, and I over ordered, but I'd do it all again. So good!

A classic Michelin star. Everything was on point. Went for lunch and it sure is a great deal. Nothing surprised me but it was super delicious. The way the add caviar in courses is lovely. Service was a 10/10, always assisting us to the best. Elegant place to go.

Caviars and presentation was amazing! Same with the selection of wines and champagnes great service. The only takeback I have is servers were by the bar wedding to attend and he was a little bit intimidating.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Caviar Russe, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we were greeted by our attentive waiter, Armando, it was clear that we were in for something special. The ambiance and attention to detail were on par with my previous experiences at renowned establishments like Eleven Madison Park and Daniel. What set Caviar Russe apart, however, was the staff's deep knowledge of the caviar industry. Their passion for caviar was evident in both the menu and their ability to guide us through the selection process. The dishes were exquisite, many of them infused with caviar in creative and tantalizing ways. The presentation was impeccable, with each plate elegantly showcasing the culinary artistry at work. Every bite was a revelation, and the tastings were some of the most innovative and delicious I have ever enjoyed. If you are a fan of caviar, or simply appreciate fine dining at its best, I highly recommend a visit to Caviar Russe. The attentiveness of the staff, the beauty of the venue, and the unique flavors of the menu make this a must-visit destination. I eagerly look forward to my return to this gorgeous establishment.

Caviar Russe has become one of the top high end restaurants to dine at in the entire city. There is certainly no better place to go if your a caviar lover. I've eaten here a handful of times over the years and feel that the experience has gotten better each time. The room is beautiful, the service is impeccable, and the food is outstanding. Also Caviar Russe has just taken space on the first floor that is a little more casual than the second floor dining room. I look forward to trying downstairs next time. In any event this restaurant is highly recommended and a must try!

Their steak and pork is chef kiss, highlight of this restaurant (sorry not the caviar). Other food is great too but not as impressive as their entrees. Service is so so. It’s a Michelin restaurant so I don’t know if it’s ok to have the front desk serving food. We also heard the chef yelling in the kitchen when we were dining there which I do not appreciate. I would only come back for their entrees, nothing else.

We knew what we were getting into, going to a caviar restaurant and ordering a bottle of illuminated Dom. The service was top notch and everyone was very knowledgeable and willing to go out of their way to meet some of our unique requests. Outside of the silly bottle of champagne, we’ve experienced a lot of caviar in our time, and it just wasn’t worth the price. Their serving sizes seemed a bit short of what you’d receive with a typical caviar service. There were some unique accoutrements and additional menu items that were a nice surprise and all well-executed. Overall, it was a fun stop on our trip that we’re happy we did but probably wouldn’t do again.

A must for caviar lovers…. It’s a luxurious experience with top-to-top feel and a menu to boot. We are upstairs for a small and cozy dining experience…but you can also sit at the bar or go to the lounge in the back-all on the first floor.

Just had a fantastic dinner here, great service, inventive delicious food, great cocktails. The blue fin tuna as well as the beets appetizers were beautiful and delicious, same for the tortellini and Dover Sole. Flambé meringue dessert was super tasty. The only negative remark is that we weren't offered black napkins, the white ones got my black pants full of lint.
