City Vineyard will always be a very special place for us. We had one of the most memorable evenings here, and everything about it was just right — the cozy vibe, the beautiful view of the Hudson at sunset, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Freddy, the manager, truly went out of his way to make the evening feel extra meaningful. Despite it being a busy night, he took the time to help with a few personal touches I had requested, and it made all the difference. The rest of the staff was also wonderful — thoughtful, kind, and so helpful throughout the night. This place has a certain magic to it. Whether you're celebrating something important or just looking for a great spot to unwind, City Vineyard is a gem. We can’t wait to come back!

City Vineyard is where unbeatable views meet seriously good food. Nestled along the Hudson River, this spot feels like a little escape right in the city. The moment you walk in, you’re hit with waterfront vibes, string lights, and that laid-back, effortlessly cool energy. Perfect for sunset dinners, weekend hangs, or just treating yourself after a long day. I ordered the classic burger with fries—and wow. Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly how I asked. The brioche bun was soft yet sturdy, and the fries? Golden, crispy, and addictively good. Paired with one of their house wines, it hit every craving just right. The service was friendly and relaxed, giving me time to soak in the skyline views without feeling rushed. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, City Vineyard is a must for anyone who loves good food with a side of scenery. Bonus: the rooftop is a vibe all its own. Already planning my next visit—this place just gets it.

Nice restaurant by the pier that offers a view on the river. They have outdoors areas if you want to enjoy the sun. I went there with my friends for brunch and the quality and size were good. We went for the salmon Benedict and shrimp avocado toasts and both were great choices. This place is my new favorite!! I loved the fact that it is in excellent location, but still you don't need a reservation, and you can seat yourself where ever you like! The staff it was polite with smile, and I loved the view! I went there little bit before the sunset, and I couldn't have enough of the light changing from the romantic sunset colors to the magic night colors.... I didn't felt the need to touch my phone except to take more Pictures and more videos....!! Highly recommend you gonna love it!!

This review pertains to a dining experience during the winter season. Our party was seated on the rooftop within a well-insulated dome, which accommodates up to 8 individuals, although slightly cramped for larger groups. Despite its effective insulation against the cold winter air, the dome's limited ventilation led to stagnant air quality, resulting in the circulation of carbon dioxide among diners. Furthermore, the materials used in the dome's construction when heated by the portable heater, it may pose respiratory risks for individuals with pre-existing health conditions. Notably, restroom facilities are not available on the rooftop, necessitating a descent to the main entrance. Nonetheless, the panoramic views of the Hudson River and downtown financial district skyline were truly breathtaking. Our server demonstrated exceptional attentiveness and courtesy, earning high praise. The cuisine and beverages served were indeed of high quality. Considering these factors, this establishment would be an excellent choice for a lunch or dinner engagement during the warmer months.

My husband and I celebrated Valentine's day here. We were able to experience a great performance and the service was good as well. We really enjoyed the wings and the truffle fries, they were delicious. The seating was on a first come/first serve basis which was a hassle but overall it was a nice time.

Grateful for a decent place along the water to watch the sunset. I just wish... and maybe I'm the only one... that there was some place with no music? Food was decent, we got the cheese and charcuterie plus a couple of wine flights, very reasonably priced and pleasant.

Found a nice refuge after a hot morning exploring playgrounds with my kids at Pier 25 and 26. This place had a nice outdoor seating area where you get shade and breeze by the water. Highly recommend their CV Burger which has melted brie, arugula, and sweet apple onion spread on it. I enjoyed the taro chips with the tuna poke but wished the poke tasted more fresh than salty. City Vineyard might be my favorite summer spot in the city, it’s like a little vacation right on the Hudson 😎. Rooftop has gorgeous views, fun music, and the perfect atmosphere for daytime drinks or catching the sunset. The food is good too- loved the crab cake sliders. The hostess was amazing, the views are spectacular, the dome was cute and private, the food was less than average. It’s worth checking out for the view alone.

I will start off with the strengths. The scenery helps to make this place really cute. The pier on a sunny day is really its on little vibe. City winery is a big space, indoors and outdoors. Saturday was a beautiful day, so it was crowded. Even with reservations, we waited more than 30 minutes to be seated for our table. We enjoyed the salmon but not so much the chickpeas on the dish, the truffle fries, oysters, sliders and Cesar salad. It was a large party. The drinks were decent. It's known for wine but most of the group drank cocktails. Unfortunately, the service was not the best even though the waitress tried. We waited for water. We did not receive cutlery for our meals when they first arrived. We waited maybe 15 mins after being seated for someone to check in on us and take our order. Perhaps it was just a busy day but the service was noticeable. If you have not been I would give it a try and manage your expectations. We were seated inside. The rooftop was really crowded but people were having a good time.

I went to a show on the second floor, and while the entryway was beautiful and impressive, my overall experience was just okay. The location is great, especially for summer, but the service was disappointing—polite but lacking experience and proactiveness. The food menu was limited and underwhelming, with the dishes being just average. The show itself was also just okay. I feel like the bar downstairs makes more sense in the summertime since it's right by the water.
