Loved the wings! Crispy and sauce. Atmosphere and pace was a little slow but it was a weekday lunch. Friendly bartender (can't remember her name) and fast service.

The best bar on the UES. The bartenders treat you like a regular whether you are or not and the owners (for which it's named) are frequently in and checking up on everything. Healthy pours and some of the best bar food you'll find. It's a staple of 3rd Ave.

My absolute favorite bar on the UES. We have lived right down the street for 2 years now and have become regulars here. The food is great and fairly priced, and the beer selection and prices are even better. We have hosted multiple parties here in “The Nook” and we always have a great time, as do our guests. We love everyone who works here, including but not limited to: Deirdre, Finn, Eunan, Savannah, Heather, Vince, and Abner. Will never stop coming here, even if we move away. Dylan Murphy’s forever!

Good appetizers, great Irish food and a friendly staff. You could not ask more from an establishment. If you are looking for a good time with friends I would head out there. The train is near by. Taxis are abundant and you will be able to either have a short night or stay until close and know you will be happy to go back each time.

The breakfast here was so stellar that it would bounce through the ceiling, and blast off, starry-eyed as it entered the milky way. Speaking of milky, the Guinness was the most, frothy, delicious creation in the history of all pints. Side note, whoever this is, not only is she stunningly beautiful, but the service was impeccable.

Great bartenders and the nook is a nice quiet place to have a drink and throw darts. I had the fish and chips. The fish was cooked to perfection. crispy batter outside with moist flaky fish on the inside. Chips were done just right.

This was my 2nd time in Dylan Murphys and once again it didn’t disappoint! Lovely atmosphere in this very successful pub. Staff were so helpful and kind and bar staff gave us lovely recommendations. Thank you for the lovely time will certainly be back.

The drinks are beyond reasonably priced. The service, vibe, and atmosphere is awesome. Perfect spot to go after work to take the edge off, or if you wanna keep a date going. Can't recommend Dylan Murphy's enough. 50 cent wing Wednesday is a must!!!

We were looking for a pizza place but stumbled on Dylan Murphys. The fish and chips were better than you would ever expect from an Irish pub . I had the crispy chicken sandwich and a side salad It was so yummy! We love this place and might justjust it the Ohio State game here on Saturday! Highly recommend if you want a cozy jaunt with great food and drinks!

Dylan Murphy's is exactly what you expect. A cozy Irish bar with decent food and a good drink selection. The wait and bar staff is friendly and willing to crack a joke or two with yah. Don't expect to be blown away, but you won't be disappointed in the least.

Great spot to stop in for a pint and a good chat with friendly folks. Una was so cool and made an effort to chat with me even though I was only in for a short while. When I'm back in the city I'll be sure to visit here again.

The food is exceptional and varied. My preference is the Shepard pie with cheddar, but I'm biased and Irish so feel free to sample another delicious option. The staff are welcoming and knowledgable. I haven't encountered a more hospitable bar on the ues. Call in and see for yourself!

Quintessential NYC Irish Bar, except this one does trivia nights every Monday. The service is wonderful with speed and smiles accompanying the surprisingly good food. I'd recommend the Bangers & Mash or the Sliders but nearly everything on the menu is tasty.

Great bar with good wings and awesome service

Recently visited Dylan Murphys bar for a quick bite to eat and can without hesitation say food was just amazing. Presentation and flavour were top class and the service was impeccable. Staff were so friendly and nothing was too much hassle for them. Nora the lovely girl that served us was so accommodating and made us feel so welcome. Exceptional service will definitely be back again.

We went here last night for the first time and had a blast! The bartenders alone deserve 10 stars! They were so welcoming and attentive to everyone! Even with it being a busy, Friday night they made sure to greet us and make us feel welcomed there! They shook our hands and introduced themselves and made sure our glasses were full the entire time there! We also ordered food - chicken tenders and a quesadilla. Both were delicious! We will definitely be back. My only regret is that I can’t give this place more stars!

Good service, friendly servers. Food was quite yummy. Had sliders and buffalo chicken tenders. Chicken tenders were more like small breasts. Chicken Little on steroids!! Excellent dipping sauce. Ate outside. Pretty comfortable seating.

Great beer selection and incredible service. We went in to cool down from the heat with a nice beer and some air conditioner and wound up staying for several hours. The place is welcoming to tourists and locals and it is priced more for locals than tourists. The bartender, Priscilla, knows what she is doing, she is attentive and quick. If you are looking for a laid back place to grab a drink and a bite to eat, definitely check this place out.

Recently moved to NYC from Ireland and was looking for a good Irish bar to remind me of home and Dylan Murphy’s has now become my go to!! There’s an amazing atmosphere, great food and the nicest staff. The Irish lad (Finn or Fionn was his name I think) especially was so helpful with his food and drink recommendations, I can’t wait to go back!!

I normally don’t leave reviews but my last visit to Dylan Murphys was so phenomenal I had to leave a comment! We briefly visited New York last month and were looking for an Irish bar, and we couldn’t have came to a better spot! There was a lovely Irish lad in there ( I can’t remember his name unfortunately but he had tattoos on his arms) but he was just amazing! He helped us with drink recommendations and things to do in the city, all while being so friendly and helpful! He really made me feel like I walked into a bar in Ireland! I’ve told all my friends kids that are over on their J1s this summer about this bar! 5 stars!!

The staff are great, Finn Eunan & Heather are a credit to the bar. I’m only new to the neighbourhood and they have made me feel so welcome here! Great pints, great food, great service, great atmosphere. Would recommend to everyone and they have a great spot downstairs for work events and parties, love it!!

I went to a birthday party here. The birthday person rented out the basement room of this venue. It's a good size space for roughly 20 people but could fit a few more. It's free to reserve, but you have to hit the $800 minimum. Meaning if your group doesn't pay for at least $800 in food/alcohol, you'll have to cover that remainder. Otherwise, great spac3, great bartender, good bar food. And good times :)

What a fun bar! We were here for their 15th anniversary and had the best time. We ate, we drank, we danced. The service was quick and the staff was so friendly. Highly recommend

This is a great spot on the upper east side. The outdoor space has obviously been thoughtfully designed and built. There are tvs inside and also under their tent. The service each time I've visited has been great, and it feels safe when it comes to covid protocols. I'm a big fan of their toys and fries.

Great spot that I regularly come by. Finn and Eunan are always a great time and pour great drinks. New guy Declan on Sunday and Monday also great; great attitude and always attentive — nice addition to the crowd. Food is solid bar food, I usually go with the nachos. Wings are fantastic.

Went there for the first time tonight with my daughter to see Bills game (and check in on Mets and Yankees). Great food (burger; wings; done perfectly); great service; great drinks. Felt totally comfortable as a female sports fan with my daughter- hubby dropped us off m; would have stayed but had work to do. Bathroom clean and nice. Totally pleasant environment. Will go there again.

Had the pleasure of dropping into Dylan Murphy's over the Christmas period, what a great pub with a warm welcoming atmosphere. Food was on point and tasted fresh and filling, staff couldn't have done enough for us, so friendly and informative, gave us some great places to visit on our short trip to NYC. As an Irish man fond of a pint of Guinness, all I can say is that it`s one of the best pints I had in NYC, very much like home. So if your looking for good food and good drinks and a friendly atmosphere , head into this little gem of a pub.

Was in the city and decided to call into Dylan Murphys for a bite to eat. I had the burger, which was 5 stars, top quality. Once I ordered the food was so quick to come out. The bar was lined with people but the service from the bartenders Declan and Trisha was outstanding. You should definitely check out this bar if you have a chance!

A great after work spot to grab a drink. For gathering coworks and friends. Very Friendly bartenders and staff. Downstairs area is a nice space for a birthday or a cozy get together. The prices were decent for the area.

Not the biggest bar in the city, but it's good none the less. Attentive bartenders with a great memory and very friendly demeanor the entire night. Check it out when you're in the area. One of the least obnoxious bar crowds in this neck of the woods. Great for stopping in for a drink on the go or to hang out with a small group of friends.

Best Philly cheese steaks in NYC! I love this place but it missed out on 5 stars because they always bring me cold french fries. Fix this and 5 stars will be upon your bar.

Dylan Murphy's is a neighborhood bar. Beers are good. The atmosphere is traditional with lots of wood and bar stools. The place gets busy, but the staff makes the effort to quickly serve everyone.

Felt like a well realized Irish pub. The service was rather slow with only one waiter and my food came out a bit burnt and with no silverware. We had to wait quite a while to speak to the waitress again.

A old fashioned bar on the upper East side. Brew selection is good and the pub grub is tasty. A rare find in this area.

Good ol' fashion Irish pub. Small, dark wood and more barstools than booths. Stopped in for a drink when we found ourselves having a few minutes to kill. Friendly service and a nice crowd inside. Stop in if you've got time to kill when you're up by Central Park.

It's your average 3rd Ave Irish pub. It's clean, with a friendly vibe from both the staff and fellow patrons. Lots of TVs to catch any game! Dart boards on the lower level are in good shape too...

Generally speaking food was better than my expectation, especially the chicken pot pie. Fish and chips, fish was kinda dry. Also it didn't put any utensils or ketchup. Good thing I had it.

Great food, Drinks were just ok. The Bartender Steph, can use some Customer Service skills. I did NOT like her service at all. I sat at the big table far left & she decided to greet me from the bar. Ughhh that was SO in personal, she didn't introduce herself I had to ask her name. I can go on, but why?? Please do better!

It has an amazing outdoor seating area, albeit it being noisy from the 3rd Avenue traffic. You can sit indoors as well but its annoying. You have to take your own temperature at the door, check in on your phone for trace tracking and sit down to be served. You can't order from the bar. If you're not a regular bar fly and don't know the new covid rules it can be a real drag at first. But the service is alright and the food pretty decent.

Not bad, I've had worse. They are alright in my book, but not great. The bangers and mash have mashed potatoes that are on the dry side and not enough brown gravy but the sausage and onions are good. The traditional nachos barely had cheese. The bartender said they don't serve Bushmills Irish whiskey. They play mostly pop music so not really a traditional Irish pub vibe. In the end I'd recommend other Irish pubs serving traditional food and atmosphere over this one, but it's not bad for a quick bite and other whiskey offerings.

The outside seating is like a sauna. Hot and wood. I'm not a beer drinker and the mixed drinks we had sucked. Tonic is not the same as seltzer. It was a crowded night but the service was not great

Not a cheap pub. Highly over priced. Almost $10 for pigs in blanket. Lol? Lunch for two was $85. One appetizer each and one main each with one bear each... $85. Skip this place unless you're literally dying of hunger. Lots of other places that's cheap and cheerful around.

The bartenders were delightful — attentive, generous, and incredibly helpful. Unfortunately, my companion's burger was incredibly undercooked, even after he sent it back to have it reheated, and the fries were mushy. There are plenty of other Yorkville pubs where you can get a better mean for the same price (or less).

I used to enjoy stopping by on my way home, but unfortunately, my last two visits left nothing to be desired. The Andrew-Garfield-looking bartender was quite rude, inattentive, seemingly easily confused, and did his best to make me as uncomfortable as possible (mind you, I sit quietly, alone, drink my adult beverage, pay my bill, and leave. I NEVER cause problems - I'd hate the attention it brought). Again, it's unfortunate, but I will not be returning. No one has to hit me over the head - my presence clearly bothers that........gentleman.

Great atmosphere! Loved to sit outside and relax to the music! So we went again today because we liked it so much. We shouldn't have done that. The waitress seemed not to be interested in having any more guests. It was 9:30 p.m. We ordered food and drinks. First a fork was missing, then the Ceasar Salad didn't have the chicken that we ordered. It was promised that the chicken would come right away but our burgers were already eaten and nothing happened. I told the waitress that she should cancel our Ceasar Salad. We didn't want it anymore after the rest of our group finished eating. It was obvious that she didn't want to do that but then she gave us the check and that was it. No apology, not a single word, nothing. We thought it was very rude. After all it wasn't our mistake that we didn't get what we ordered.

Disappointed after reading good reviews. We ordered 2 burgers for delivery. Both were ordered to be cooked medium well. Both burgers were charred on the outside yet still almost raw on the inside... As if they cook them while still frozen! Not a thick patty, either. AND they forgot the bacon when I paid an extra $2 for it. One burger came with a pickle but the other didn't. I don't know who they have working in their kitchen, but this was a terrible order for delivery. I'd give one star but the fries were decent, lol. Ugh.

I ordered a Smithwicks beer and a burger medium well. The burger came raw. By the time the bartender finally stopped and asked me how my food was my beer was completely empty and I ate just the fries. So it cost me $25 for a plate of fries and a beer. The burger was inedible. Bad food Bad service.

Called in to check if they are broadcasting a sports event which they claim to be doing. Halfway through the event they turn it off under the argument "there's plenty of bars in Manhaten". Luckily there are indeed plenty of bars in Manhaten, but I'd rather not miss a chunk of the event by rushing to another establishment to continue watching.

Worst breakfast ever. Food seemed like it was cooked a few days previous and severed then. First time having an Irish breakfast here and total turn off. Food was so stale it would hop off the wall. No even an apology was offered.

The waitress got progressively drunker as the night went on. She forgot our app (that I could totally understand) never checked on us. Sat at the bar, and when I tried calling her over, she yelled at me from the bar. We gave our cards to pay, she took them and brought them back to another patron. Then noticed she never ran my card. Gave it back to her and she had no clue, or couldn't stand long enough to run it, so I went and ran my own card. This used to be my hangout for years when I lived in nyc. It has gone down hill since then.

Bartenders are too busy laughing with each other to notice a customer is trying to ask whether a seat is available. One makes eye contact with me and then immediately turns away to keep laughing. Train your airheads to actually treat customers with respect and I’ll change my rating.

Wasn't even a customer and already got treated badly. I was outside and in need of a tissue/napkin or something because I was not given any when I ordered something from somewhere else for takeout and just needed to wipe my face. I asked one of the waitresses if she had any that they could give me, she said she would go check. Comes back to tell me something from a distance that I couldn't quite understand but assumed she might've mentioned it was against policy to give non-customers something even as simple as a tissue/napkin. I was trying to clarify that with her, she chose to ignore me twice, but finally when I got her attention, she had the audacity to shout at me that doesn't have any. I comprehend the staff being stressed out with COVID and short-staffing issues, but I will not sit back and tolerate this level of disrespectful customer service. This pub can thank God that their reputation was saved by the bell after I decided to call and speak to the manager who deeply and sincerely apologized to me for this disgruntled despicable self-centered Karen employee of her's for nearly staining it. After that discussion with the manager, I will consider coming with my buddies and I hope my star-rating will change.

It was my first time ordering and my last! Delivery was fine. I ordered the shepherd's pie and an order of chicken tenders/fingers fir lunch. The shepherd's pie was a watery mess! Thin layer of mash on top of a very soupy bottom layer of barely there ground beef and a ton of peas and carrots. The chicken had absolutely no flavor. No salt, pepper, nothing. The only thing that added flavor to it was the bbq dip it came with. Very disappointed with this place and won't be ordering again.

The staff was friendly and helpful but the owner arrived so drunk at around 8PM and then when I came back later he was totally wasted and started harassing me and throwing racist remarks. Staff was great at trying to keep him at bay but please beware of the owner showing up.

I was accused of having a fake id when i’m turning 22 just because my id said “not for real id purposes” which is talking about not being able to use it for domestic travel…was questioned A LOT at the bar by the Irish bartender for ordering a drink after my friend ordered 2 for herself because “i’m worried your id is fake.” had to bring my passport out even tho i’m a citizen….wouldn’t recommend if you’re from New Jersey or like chicken nachos (pictured)
